Problem with caluclated Item caluclation

Hi Gurus,
Now am using OBIEE 11.1.1.5 version.
How to caluclate Percentage for caluclated Item row in decimal points? I need percent row will be in decimal points rest of the things are in integers.
Please help on this issue.

what problem r u facing - can u put up a snap ? Did u rebuild the report with the logic HM suggested ? Did you remove the RPD cache / clear browser cache ?
In the RPD what datatype have u used on the column which you are applying formula on front end ?
- R u using IE ?

F-32 : Problem with Open Item selection

Hi,
We have a strange problem with open Item selection for customer clearing in t-code F-32
In My QA system
if I input spl GL indicator ="*" and uncheck Normal OI tick,
the system selects all open items,
(those with spl GL indicator and those without spl GL indicator)
In My Dev system
If I input spl GL indicator ="*" and uncheck Normal OI tick
the system does not select any open items,
Please let me know which setting controls this behaviour ?

Hello,
Check your data in FBL5N for the option "Special GL Transactions". There could be that there is no data in the system with SPECIAL GL TRANSACTIONS.
In F-32, there is no value like *
You need to input right Special GL Indicator. "*" will not work here.
I am sure in both the systems if you put "*" and UNTICK your normal transaction, you will NOT get any items to clear.
Please DOUBLE CHECK whether you have unticked normal transaction.

Problem with Line Item display of G/L account

Hi,
I am struggling with a typical problem that I have two company codes in two different countries. I have created a tax account with Open Item management and Line Item display in both the company codes.
When I am trying to post vendor invoices, taxes are being posted on line item wise in one company code but not doing so in other company code eventhough the attributes of the G/L account are same.
G/L accounts, tax condition types and account keys are same in both the cases.
Can any body give me an idea to fix the problem.

check the condition types you've defined for the both of the countries
sprofin accting-f/a gl sett-tax on sales/pur -basic settings-check cal procd--define cond types
there is a check box named item condition see whether it is ticked for the another company's condn type.
because due to this only it takes the condn item wise.

Problem with the item in complaint

We are facing a problem with the customizing of item category in CRM,
Our issue is, we are doing a complaint with items, those items have column where we can see the value, description, quantityu2026
Here is our thing we need to have these columns active or deactivate (grey) depending on the product.
We are not sure if it is possible by customizing of item or customizing of material, or we need a development in order to achieve this requirement.
Any help?

Hi,
If you are having products with different item category groups then you can create different item categories for them.
Then depending on the item category you can do the development to grey out the fields.
But if the product have nothing to differentiate then it would be difficult to carry out the development also.

Problem with line items print in Script MAIN window.

Dear Friends,
I am facing a problem with display the line items in main window.
Here i have created my form with 2 pages,
in first page i have created header window(my header information is full length of page), in second page i have created 2 windows, one for MAIN window and second for FOOTER window,
i am having the Footer information about to off the page.
and in my main window total 3 line items are coming, if i am having 3 line items then it is displaying properly (first 3 line items then immediately footer information on same page) but if am having more then 3 line items say four, then in my second page first it is printing 3 line items then it is switching into another page. After that footer is coming but. in previous page after printing 3 line items the remaining page is empty..
my client want me to remove that place also. he wants to display continue..
i think so u people r understand what is my problem...pls advice me what i want to do to solve this problem.

Hi Sridher,
If you want to display the footer information only on the last page why dont you use a table to display your details and place the footer details in the table footer instead of a seperate footer window.

Problems with the items (control) in forms 9i (Re)

I write this problem in a other post and but don't have any feedback about it(So I will give another try:-) )
The problem that I will describe don't happen all the time and is very rare but I want to know if it's a normal bug of forms or something more special of our PL/SQL code...
So here we are.
Is there others developpers here that have problems with the mouse cursor of the user that seems to be "jammed"(blocked, trapped) in a text item (or another control, like a list item). When this problems happen, the user can't go on another field of the forms with his mouse cursor(Mouse click), the only thing that can resolve that is to refresh the page with Internet Explorer, and after that, he is free to go on another field of the forms.
This problem is very rare but happens sometimes.

Problem with setting Item level permissions lists

Hello!
I have SPS 2013 on-premised environment with AD authentication.
At some moment I've noticed that we have a problem with setting the item level permissions on any lists except the document libraries.
When I click the "shared with" button I see a popup form with a list of users who have an access to that list but there is no "invite people" link or "Advanced" link. Moreover, the "loading" ring rotates
instanly like some operation was'nt ended.
The same operation with documents in libraries works well.
I am be grateful for any help!

From your description, my understanding is that there were no "invite people" or "Advanced" link when some users clicked "shared with" button in some lists.
This issue seems like about permissions. Please log on your site with site collection administrator or a user who has full control for the site, then go to a problematic list->List settings->Permissions for this list, check whether the list
has unique permissions. Then click "Check Permissions", check the permission level for the problematic users and then go to Site Settings->Site permissions->Permission levels, check whether the permission level contains "Manage permissions".
If not, add the permission into the permission level.

Problems with purchased items, Problems with purchased items

I have problems with my purchased itens displayed in iPhone.
When I access "iTunes > Purchased" (on iPhone) it does not show one of the albums that I purchased. When i acess "Purchased items" in iTunes (MacBook) this album is showed.
because of this I purchased two times the same album.
How to solve this?

I just called the 1-800-My-Apple and the said there is really nothing they can do about it. They said I had an outstanding payment of $8.54 (or something like that), I said I know b/c of the problem I am having with my bank, but NO previous completed purchases should have anything to do with this outstanding payment . It should not keep me from being able to update or download previously completely paid apps, TV Shows, or movies - they are mine, and I paid for them. I submitted a complaint.. that just isn't right!

Problems with editing items in ical

I use ical with icloud on my Imac, Ipad and 3 Iphones.
When i change an item on one of these devices and you press OK, you get to see your edited item for just a few seconds before ical changes the item back tot its old settings.
So lets say you want to change the time of an item in your agenda from 12.00 to 02.00 for example, it will show your changes for a few seconds before the item is back on 12.00 again.
This does not happen all the time. I thought it had something to do with editing items while ical is synchronizing but when you wait till its finished synchronizing it still happends sometimes. Eventually after editing the **** item 3 -5 times ical approves the changes but **** its annoying when you are in a hurry or dont have time to check up after you edited an item and it changes back without you seeing it.
All devices have had their latest updates and are all connected to the internet either by 3G, WiFi or LAN.
Anyone has an idea about how this is possible?

Sorry I am having terrible trouble with even working out how to reply to these forums. I use photoshop elements 8 (and I have also tried Gimp) as I cannot afford CS5. The photo seem to be edited as TIFF and they do get imported. The photos seem to stack, but I am unable to open the stack to view the edited image - I thought when you click the stack it should expand and show all the editions of the photos next to each other. Sometimes - rarely - this works, but most of the time only the original raw file shows up. The crazy thing is even searching for the filename.tif doesn't find the file, even when I copy and paste the file name from Windows Explorer. But the edited file is in the catalogue somewhere because after deleting the original, the edited file shows up as above.
I dread having to edit the files in PE8 because of this, but sometimes this is necessary to be able to use layers and filters.
Note that using Gimp is just the same. I think the problem is in Lightroom.

Problems with line items

I've some problems with the implementation of the solution described in HowTo guide "HowTo line items in IP..." .
When I've activated the char. relationship as desribed like in the HowTo paper I get an error message, when I'm deactivating the char. relationship everything is fine.
Now my question: do I've to implement the coding for the char. derivation in every method or just in the derive-method?

For user you have to write complete technical name of the user InfoObject. Say if it is ZUSERID then you should write:
ASSIGN COMPONENT '/BIC/ZUSERID' OF STRUCTURE c_s_chas TO <l_chavl>.
<l_chavl> = sy-uname.
For standard InfoObjects like 0DATE you can simply write
ASSIGN COMPONENT '0DATE' OF STRUCTURE c_s_chas TO <l_chavl>.
<l_chavl> = sy-datlo.

Problems with synchronizations items and partners

I have problems with synchronizations from SAP B1 to SAP E-
commerce 5.9.6
When I run Synch. manager, there are some error messages in Synchlog
and some items and business partners are synchronized and some not
synchronized.
Error messages:
1)
Completed account list synch with unhandled error:object reference not set to an instance of an object.
2)
Completed parts list synch with unhandled error:
object reference not set to an instance of an object.
at NetPoint.SynchSBO.SBOObjects.SBOItem.SBOToNetPoint()
at NetPoint.SynchSBO.SBOObjects.SBOItem.SynchItemList()

Hi Milos,
If nothing at all has synchronized, I would first double check your connection settings and passwords.
If the synch appears to to be connecting correctly, you will need to look at the data that it is failing on.
The synch queue is the prx_transaction_queue table in the Business One database. The object_type column refers to a Business One object. 2 for business partner and 4 for items. The list_of_cols_val_tab_del is the key in the associated table. For business partners that is OCRD.CardCode and items OITM.ItemCode.
First determine that there is no bad data in the queue. Bad data is typically defined as null or empty strings in the list_of_cols_val_tab_del column.
Try running the following for business partners:
select *
from prx_transaction_queue
where object_type = 2 and (list_of_cols_val_tab_del is null or list_of_cols_val_tab_del = '')
And this for Items.
select *
from prx_transaction_queue
where object_type = 4 and (list_of_cols_val_tab_del is null or list_of_cols_val_tab_del = '')
If there are nulls or empty strings in the list_of_cols_val_tab_del column, delete them.
If not, take a look at the first records in the queue.
select top 1 *
from prx_transaction_queue
where object_type = 2
order by tmstmp
and for items:
select top 1 *
from prx_transaction_queue
where object_type = 4
order by tmstmp
Change the transaction_type to "X" (remember what is was, because you will need to change it back). Changing this value will remove the item from the synch.
Rerun the synch.
If it runs at this point, there is probably data in the records that the synch was not expecting. The business partner data will need to be examined. Tics in key values (CardCode, Address Name, contact name, itemcode) may cause problems.
If this is the case, you might want to contact support to try to track the problem down.
Another source of problems may be database collation. We can talk about that if none of the above works.

Problem with an item line

One of my customers has created an order with two item lines (10 and 20)
The first has been delivered and the second item line was used to create a Purchase Order (NB).
Subsequenlty they found out that they actually needed to delete line 20 which was blocked due to the PO. They have deleted the PO item line but the PO still exists and blocks for deletion of order item line 20.
For now the client has agreed to use the 'reason for rejection' function but they would like the PO deleted so that they can delete order line 20.
How do I delete the PO?

I suppose you used the third party item category for the second line item - 20. So the system first creates a purchase requisition for this item & then this purchase requisition is referred for creating a purchase order.
Now for line item 20, after sales order the subsequent documents will be
1. Purchase requisition.
2. Purchase order.
SAP doesn't allow to delete an item if a subsequent document exist in relation to it. Now in this case, you have cancelled/deleted the item from the PO but still the line item 20 lies in the Purchase requisition. It will have to deleted from the PR also before deleting it from the sales order.
Go to VA02 - enter your sales order number - double click on the line item 20 - go to schedule lines - scroll towards the right side to see the purchase requisition (PR) number.
Now go to ME52N - select the purchase requisition number - delete the line item 20 from here - save the PR.
Now try to delete the line item 20 from the sales order, the system should allow.

Problem with application item and session state

Okay, let's see if I can explain this problem coherently.
I have a small app (one page), with an application item, F_WHERE_CLAUSE.
This page has three regions in which there are items that the users can populate for search conditions. A couple of these items are "select list with submit" (I still need to upgrade to the AJAX method, I know). There is another region which has one hidden field, called P1_WHERE_CLAUSE. This field is defined to "Always, replacing any value in session state..." with source type of "Item (application or page.....", and a source value of F_WHERE_CLAUSE with no default value.
I have a button called "Search" which submits the page and fires a PL/SQL process which builds a where condition based upon the other page items and stores the value to the application item F_WHERE_CLAUSE (correctly).
For testing, I've made the P1_WHERE_CLAUSE field visible so that I can see what's going on. I've also clicked the debug and session buttons to help trace this. After I click the "Search" button and the page submits, debug shows:
0.02: ...Session State: Save "P1_WHERE_CLAUSE" - saving same value: "1=1"
followed later by:
0.05: ...Session State: Saved Item "F_WHERE_CLAUSE" New Value="lower(primary_class) = 'rock' and country = 'Spain'"
The field P1_WHERE_CLAUSE displays with the correct search criteria as signified by F_WHERE_CLAUSE above. However, If I click the "session" button to view the session state values, P1_WHERE_CLAUSE shows up as:
P1_WHERE_CLAUSE Textarea 1=1 U while F_WHERE_CLAUSE displays the correct value still.
The reason this "problem" came up, is that this page also has three SQL report regions which use &P1_WHERE_CLAUSE. for the where condition. While they display the correct results on-screen, each report region also has the "Export to csv" enabled, and the export seems to be using the "1=1" condition (from the "session" window) instead of the search criteria that the on-screen region is using (F_WHERE_CLAUSE and the displayed P1_WHERE_CLAUSE), resulting in a retreival of all records.
Anybody have any idea what's going on and why, and how to get the csv export to use the correct value for the where condition?

It appears the "Export to CSV" functionality requires the item value to be set in session state. The P1_WHERE_CLAUSE item value never gets saved to session state. The page is rendered and the value is put in the item on the page but until you submit the page session state doesn't know what P1_WHERE_CLAUSE is.
Create a before header computation or process to set the value of P1_WHERE_CLAUSE (which will save it to session state). It is interesting that the report regions didn't need to look at the value in session state but the "export to csv" does.

Problem with Page-Item

Description:
I created a database link with our Production-Database to publish some data
via Intranet.
Some pages got links to open Popup-Windows for a detailed description of the
data. Every page was built in the same way - a list with data and the ID got a link like this:
#ID#
In this case I created a link to open page 2 in a different window. On page 2 I use &P2_ID. as title and use :P2_ID for my sql-statement.
Problem:
On my popup-page 104 I see my title &104_ID. but my sql-statement returns nothing. The sql-statement itself works if I change :P104_ID to the value I can see in my title.
So I have really no idea why I can see the value of P104_ID if I use &P104_ID. or if I change the hidden item P104_ID to a textbox and if I use it in my SQL-Statement as :P104_ID I'll get no result. All other pages work fine.
Any idea?

It shows allways my data "AV8B" or "C-160" or "C130H" etc. 
My SQL-Statement looks as follows:

where AC_ID = :P104_ID 
I can not understand why I can see in my title "AV8B" and the result of any SQL-Statement is the same: no data found! 
If I replace in SQL :P104_ID with AV8B I get my result list. The obove statement was just a simple test script but doesn't work even if I use: 
select AIR_UNIT.UNIT_NAME 
from AIR_UNIT@BLUE 
where AIR_UNIT.AC_ID = :P104_ID 
or using instead of the unit_name ac_id doesn't work either! 
I've got really no idea!
