Problem with I/O field in module pool

hi experts,
I am displaying some text in I/O field in module pool screen. I am giving the attributes of I/O field as "output only" type and no input. Initially the input was not enabled for it, only it should be in display mode. Once i click on 'CHANGE' pushbutton then only the input should be enabled and it should be in change mode.will u tell me how to do it programatically.

In PAI of that screen..
when the sy-ucom is 'Change' then use the Loop at screen--Endloop to modify the attributes value.
example..
LOOP AT screen
      CASE screen-name.
       WHEN 'Fieldname.
          screen-input = 0.
          screen-active = 0.
         MODIFY screen.
     ENDCASE.

I want to delete the row after the display of table control. I have created push button as delete row. If I click on this push button, the selected row should get deleted.

F4 help for the screen fields in module pool program

Hi All,
I have a requirement that, i want to provide F4 help for the 2 fields in module pool program. the fields are document number and fiscal year from rbkp table.
i could provide search help for two fields.
but how to select matching fiscal year for that document number.
problem: i am getting fiscal year as first four digits of document number.
please help me to solve this problem.

Hi,
If your requirement is after selecting the document no from f4 help then the corresponding year should be updated in the document year field then use FM --> DYNP_VALUES_UPDATE
In this function module pass the screen no program & field for which u want to update value

Date field in module pool

hi all,
i want to have date field in module pool with F4 help. m keeping format as DATS. but still its not taking F4 help for taking date from calender...how shud i do it.

Call this FM -

Problem with a Dynpro field (type numc)

hi everybody.
I'm developping a ModulPool application in wich i have 2 RadioButtons with 2 textbox fields.
What i pretend to do is, when the user clicks a radiobutton and strikes Intro, enable the corresponding textbox field and disable the other one.
My code runs fine, but i have a little problem. When I loop the screen table, to set the appropiate value to the 'input' property, in this case, when i try to disable it (input = '0'), I get a zero character in that field. This field has NUMC type, i'm sure this is the problem
'cos i've got no problem with the other field (type char). But i can't solve it.
Anybody's got an idea?

What you are seeing is the normal behavior of a numeric field represented by the SAPgui. This is how all numeric fields are displayed via SAPgui. If you don't want to see the 0, then you just change the field type to CHAR and handle accordingly.

Problem with the quantity field

hi every one
i am facing a problem with the quantity field (vbap-kwmeng)
as per my requirement i need to display this quantity field along with some other item fields from VBAP in an alv grid.
among all the fields displayed in the alv grid only this quantity field is editable(end user can change this quantity)
once end user changes this quantity and press save button i need to capture this new quantity in my internaltable.
problem is input of length of quantity is 15 and the output length is 19
so when i am pressing save
say my quantity is 50 when i am pressing save '0.050' is coming because of the length difference
how can i capture the original changed value.

what about define two fields in you inner table ,one as char and the other as vbap-kwmeng, you can show the char one in the ALV gird , when user input value and press SAVE ,you can move the value to vbap-kwmeng.
you can test it,mybe some one has one better idea.

Problem with adding new field to the mass change screen in FBL5N

Hi,
We have a problem with adding the field XREF3 to the mass change screen. We followed steps described in the SAP Note 640908, but the result is that when we try to mass change some documents in FBL5N and enter some values in the mass change screen, a message appears: "Please enter at least one new value" and nothing is changed.
If you have faced with such a problem, we would be grateful if you give us some tips.

Problem in Screen field position ( Module pool )

Hi Experts,
We changed the screen field position ( GUI ) of SAP standard module pool program. we had taken the access key from SAP and modified the layout.
Our Problem : We had transported these change request to Quality and Pre Production. The changes are transferred correctly in Quality . when coming to Pre Production the changes are not visible on the screen.
Checks Performed : 1. We had analyzed the Transport request - They are imported correctly.
2. We had rechecked the layout that we had changed its good and correct.
Can you experts help me out in identify the exact solution for this problem.

Hi, no idea can be given without having a look..
but just check the screen layout in the pre-production itself..instead checking transport..

F4 help for a field in module pool

Hello Experts,
I need to provide f4 help on field sales office(VKBUR) in my module pool program.
I have searched forums about it. but all forum contains either doc. no or customers etc.
these field are directly available on table, so very easy to find.
But for sales office, how can i provide f4 help. there is no straight entries in tables like for this company code this sales office.
so its getting difficult for me to provide help.
so if anybody know the solution plz help, and if anyone know table where all sales offices are stored, i will be thankful.

Hi amar_war,
use screen painter to edit the screen layout where the field VKBUR is on. Double click the field to get the details screen. Here you can attach a search help to the field.
H_TVBUR has no more parameters, it will display a list of al sales offices with description text
H_TVBVK will also show the sales group, if VKGRP is a screen field, it will restrict the result list automatically on matching VKGRP.
H_TVKBZ has also VKORG VTWEG SPART - it will take those values from screen if filled.
If you are not satisfied with the results, you can easily create your own search help using own selection method and own search help exits if required.
Try standard search help for standard field first.
You can create a copy of VKBUR as ZVKBUR and attach search help there, you can create your own screen structure and attach the search help there - 50 ways to get your search help...

Search help for screen fields in module pool

Hi All,
I have a screen in Module pool which has 3 input fields, each input field is attached to the same search help.
These fields are from ztable . I have created a search help USING these 3 fields. All the 3 fields are marked for IMPORT and EXPORT.
So whenever i click F4 on any of the above 3 fields, It will display search help popup and returns some rows...But the values are transfered back only for 1 fields ..i.e for the first field only .
I want that ...as soon as i select any of the row from Search hit list..all the 3 columns should get populated with corresponding fields from that row.
I require it this way as user wants to select based on * selection.Ex: as then every this related to that should be popped up.
Pls help ASAP

How to pass the Data to sclect option field in module pool??

Hai Experts,
I have Created the Select-Options using Sub screen its working fine for me.
But the problem is when i pass the data to one of the my select options field its not showing in display mode..
please me this
i created select option slike this,

SELECT-OPTIONS : s_kunnr FOR wa_zcodntr-fin_kunnr,

Actullay in my module pool screen i have to select option field like F1 and F2
any one filed give the input and excute pick the coresponding data for F2 (select option) field and display and vice -versa.

All you need to do is define your selection screen and then embed it in a subscreen area of your dynpro(screen). Here is a sample program.
