Problem with inventory marker

Hi,
I have a problem with my inventory markers.
When I do: Material 1000251, Plant=0212, Record type = 1 (Only include material, plant, day, issues, and receipts)
I get the totals of: Issues = 0. Receipts = 1 (This is correct. On hand Qty = 1)
When I do: Material 1000251, Plant=0212, Record type = 1 (but I now include 0MAT_PLANT as well)
I get the totals of: Issues = 0. Receipts = -4 (This is NOT correct. On hand Qty = 1)
Any ideas on how to correct this marker problem for 0MAT_PLANT?

Common problem with inventory...but urgent...!!!

I have very basic problem with inventory data. Getting negative data...
The steps i followed are below:
1)After doing the initialization of BX using MCNB transaction I loaded the data in BW(till PSA level).
2)Initialization of BF(historical data) and loaded in BW(till psa level)
3) Upload the data with BX using DTP and Compress it with "Marker update" in the cube.
4) Upload the data with BF(historical data)using DTP and Compress it with "No Marker update"
5) Upload the data with UM(historical data)using DTP and Compress it with "No Marker update"
Now in the report I am getting wierd negative values in total stock (non cumulative key figure)
Can anyone suggest if I am missing some step or doing something wrong.

Other currency information is available at the document row level and in the Journal Entries.
What you could do is join the OINM with the associated document and let the foriegn currency value.

I got some problems with quotations marks in my queries.
I am trying to do something like this:

FM 8 Problem with diacritical marks in index

I have text in Latvian using Times new Roman Baltic fonts with items marked for inclusion in the index.
When an index is generated, the index automatically is generated using Times New Roman fonts and the diacritics are wrong. Changing the font to Times New Roman Baltic does not correct this problem.
I have specified the Group Titles sort order with letter groups, however, they do not sort properly.
e.g. A;Â is specified in the sort order, but the index displays only the group title A and includes the â terms under it.
I have set up the identical Index specification that I was using in Framemaker 7, but am unable to get correct results in FM8

Sveiks Ansi, With FM 8, you can't use the code-page specific registry instances of a WGL truetype font. You either have to use a specific code-page encoded font, such as the Tilde Baltic versions, or re-map the specific latvian code-page characters from their WinBaltic CP1257 settings to their unicode values. The remapping can be done relatively easily using a text editor or a grep-like tool (e.g. Search & Replace, TextPipePro, WinGrep, etc.) on a v.7 MIF version of the FM file (this is important, since FM8 gives you a choice of the MIF versions that you can save as). Search for the FM hex values and replace these with the required unicode value, e.g. zcaron (ANSI 253 in the CP1257 codepage) is \xca in the FM hex coding and needs to be \u017e in unicode. You can use Windows Charmap function to get the 4-character unicode values (but ignore the hex-value reported). You can also do this "re-mapping" using FM's find/change (again look for the \x hexcodes and replace with unicode \u values), but it's tedious. You also need to change the font from the Times New Roman Baltic to just Times New Roman. Note: for the MIF route, you also *must* change the initial <MIFFILE...> statement to show as an 8.00 version for this to work properly, otherwise if FM re-imports this as a v.7 MIF it will not honour the unicode mappings. Once you've got everything converted to unicode values, then specifying the group sort orders of the index should also work properly. Yes, I know, it's a real PITA working with legacy codepage-specific documents in FM8. - Arnis

SCCM 2012 Update Group inconsistency Problem with Red marked Updates

Hi everybody,
we have a big Problem with our SCCM 2012 R2 CU3 Enviroment, regarding of Update Groups which got out of sync.
we have a SCCM Site Infastructure with one CAS and 4 Primary Sites and on every Site is the SUP Role installed.
I don't know when this failure occours but i think it was after the CU3 Installation. The Installation itself went smooth without any Errors or Warnings.
The Problem is as following. We have some updates in Update Groups (all of them are Core XML Updates) which are out of sync and marked red as an invalid Update on 2 Primary Sites. On the CAS Site and the 2 other Primary SItes they are marked as green (downloaded
yes and deployed yes)
We have no Replication issues regarding the Replication Status (everything is synchronized to 100%) and the Replication Link Analyzer does also show no Problems at all.
I now deleted the Deployments and the SW Update Group waited until the replication was fine and created a new one and downloaded these patches on one of the Primary Sites which had shown this Failure.
The Result was not good. It looks like before. On the CAS and 2 Primary Sites the Deplyment is shown as downloaded but on the other 2 Sites the Status is again Downloaded=no.
Does anybody have any idea what to do now ? I checked objmgr.log and rcmctr. log but found nothing what shows me the way in the right direction.
Thx for your time, and it would be fine if anybody can share knowledge about this failure and how to fix it.
All other Ideas are also welcome.

Please try to manually synchronize software updates from the CAS and monitor the WSUSCtrl.log, WCM.log and wsyncmgr.log on the CAS and Primary sites.

Problems with Inventory after upgrade to LMS 4.0.1

Hello,
after an upgrade to LMS 4.0.1 there is a problem with the inventory. The inventory is not working for all switches, most of them are with CAT OS
with different versions.
I have found a bug that resembles the situation but it looks like this was a bug with the previous version of LMS - CSCsv65621.
Any ideas for some other problems that may cause LMS 4.0.1 not to find in the inventory all the devices?

1. What kind of devices are we talking about here?
2. Enable the debugs from Admin --> System --> Debug Settings --> Config and Image Management Debugging settings. Select ICServer and enable the debugs the modules listed.
3. Duplicate the problem.
4. Post the show ver along with the LMS logs from CSCOpx/log directory called dcmaclinet.log, dcmaservices.log, and ICServer.log. Give me a sample IP or hostname to work with to troubleshoot.
5. Get the jobs logs from CSCOpx/files/rme/jobs/ICServer/ . The job ID is from step 3 when you recreated the job to duplicate the problem.

Batch Capture Problem with 5D mark II

At the end of an event we normally copy all cards to the HDD, each card in a separate folder. We then point FCP at the card folders and use log & transfer to ingest the footage and transcode to ProRes 422.
Once all the footage is ingested we save the project and copy it from the Mac Pro to the iMac so that a second editor can work on it at the same time. Because the iMac doesn't have a RAID we set all the footage to 'offline' and use batch capture to recapture it all in ProRes Proxy.
So far so good.... that is with all the Panasonic HMC footage.... BUT we recently started shooting on the Canon 5D2 and 7D as well and this simply isn't working.
For some reason FCP recaptures all the Panasonic footage but refused to re-capture the Canon footage. I can see all the files in the L&T window but it never seems to equate the footage with the files I am trying to recapture.
HELP! What could be causing this? It's only a problem with the Canon footage.
Both MacPro and iMac are running identical versions of FCP and identical (latest) versions of the Canon L&T plug in ..... and YES we copied the entire CF card to a folder - just like we do with the Panasonic HMC stuff.

I've tried everything I can think of in terms of recapturing. Even on the original Mac Pro that the footage came in to, if I copy the entire project folder (including the 'cards' folder) from one RAID to another it fails to recapture in the original project using the original codec (ProRes 422), but if I point it back to the original cards folder it works fine. It seems to be 'moving/copying' the cards that is causing the problems.
I've checked the dates and sizes on the copied files and they are all the same, and since recapturing to the original project at the original settings doesn't work once moved I am completely stumped....!

Problem with Inventory compression - 0RT_C01

Hello experts,
We are in NW04S, implemetation for retail customer.
for inventory data I am using BX, BF and UM datasources.
Now the problem is if I do compression of the dataload at cube (0RT_C01-standard cube for retail) level (as per explained in HOW TO INVENTORY document) I get totally wrong values [for closing balance (0CPTOTSTOBU), Outflow issue(0CPTSTISBU) and inflow reciepts(0CPTSTREBU)]
But values come out correctly if we Dont do the compression at all.
Now my question is, as per How To inventory document we have to do the compression to get right values but if i do so i get wrong data.
But if i dont do the compression I get the right data.
why this is happening.... did anyone faced this kind of issue before?

As you said "0RT_C01 cubes doesn't supports BX data source for Stock Initilization. Instead of it, SAP recommends to use 2Lis_40_s278 for stock inilization." If SAP doesnt recommend to use BX then why SAP have delivered BX datsource with 0rt_c01?
as you are also using the same cube so are you compressing the data(using marker updates)?? and if yes then are you getting right values after compression??
or you using 2Lis_40_s278 for stock inilization? if yes then is it working fine in your case?

in Reports i have a text item, and i wrote a text „test” (this is copy/paste from a Word Document). At runtime i see ?text?
Why those quotation marks does not appear correctly at runtime?

my NLS_LANG, before editing in registry was AMERICAN_AMERICA.WE8ISO8859P1 (without that '5' at the end).
it's WE8ISO8859P1 not WE8ISO8859P15. and i have the NLS_LANG, AMERICAN_AMERICA.WE8ISO8859P1. stil not displaying ok..
this problem has nothing about the server, but the client, i think.
the problem appears when i call a report from a form. when i run the report inside Report Builder, the quotation marks appears as „ ".

PROBLEM WITH INVENTORY ARRAY

I am needing help on a inventory program for a class that was due a couple of days ago. The program needs to use an array to store items, output should display the value on the entire inventory, and use a method to calculate the inventory and sort the array items by name. This is one of the errors I am receiving.

User Exit:
I wrote an exit , that shows H records Qty and Amt values in BW side as negative values. If it is S that doest execute the code.
Problem:
Positive values for S , are also showing as negative values in BW side? A very small percentage of data is showing like this for a PO type which starts 35000 series.
Why it is showing 1st records S positive values are showing as negative values in BW side?

LMS 3.2 - Problem with inventory of switches using AAA authentication

Hi all,
we want to migrate our network equpiment from local authentication (telnet password, enable password) to AAA authentication (Cisco ACS server - username, password for priv level 15). The network devices are managed with CiscoWorks 3.2 and inventory works fine when device login credentials are telnet password, enable password.
I have configured a switch for testing the authentication to the ACS server, and tested the logon manually. After the successful test I reconfigured the device credentials in CiscoWorks and checked it by a device export with credentials. The credentials in CW were OK, but from this time CiscoWorks could't pull an inventory of the switch any more. Every inventory job failed.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks a lot.

excuse me, I've made a mistake. It's the malfunction of the configuration *archiving* which depends on telnet services. I have included the trace file of the failed CW archiving job. I can see that CW receives the banner and the username prompt, but doesn't send back any telnet credentials. I have also checked the correctness of the device credentials by a DCR export.

Problem with Beat Marker

I am using Premier Elements 9 and in the middle of editing clips in the Timeline the beat marker stopped moving. How do I fix it?

I have been working with PrE 11 for some time now, on an older laptop. It is still running XP-Pro SP3, so is 32-bit, with that version of PrE 11. I have also run into the "end-of-life" for my nVidia video driver, unless I change the OS. Now, and with that said, I have experienced several lags with the CTI, and also several instances where the Spacebar will not start the Timeline's playback, even when I know that it has focus.
Because of my older hardware, and one known issue with my video driver, I hesitate to complain about the CTI performance (and a few other issues), as it might not be related to PrE 11, but just to the hardware.

PS - I have my new super laptop, but have not had time to set it up, install the 64-bit PrE 11 on it, and test with a new, killer nVidia card. When I can block off a couple of days, I will do so, and then report whether I encounter such "glitches" with the new hardware.

Problems with Inventory - Removing Computers from Spiceworks

I am a fellow Spicehead in need of some assistance. We have six different sites with several remote collectors collecting data and reporting back to our main Spiceworks Server Install. We also have the Spiceworks installation hooked into our A/D. We are running Spiceworks ver. 7.4.00065.
We are seeing a lot of computers that are showing up in the inventory scans that are on the network but when I look at our A/D the computers in question have been removed from the A/D (our network) for quite some time. Additionally, I KNOW that these computers are no longer on our network and yet Spiceworks continues to show me that they are there (when I KNOW they are not).My questions are the following:1) Does Spiceworks ever remove the computers automatically on its own?2) If so, I thought I read in the forums that if the Spiceworks Installation...

I am a fellow Spicehead in need of some assistance. We have six different sites with several remote collectors collecting data and reporting back to our main Spiceworks Server Install. We also have the Spiceworks installation hooked into our A/D. We are running Spiceworks ver. 7.4.00065.
We are seeing a lot of computers that are showing up in the inventory scans that are on the network but when I look at our A/D the computers in question have been removed from the A/D (our network) for quite some time. Additionally, I KNOW that these computers are no longer on our network and yet Spiceworks continues to show me that they are there (when I KNOW they are not).My questions are the following:1) Does Spiceworks ever remove the computers automatically on its own?2) If so, I thought I read in the forums that if the Spiceworks Installation...
