Problem with job scheduling

When I execute that job :
VARIABLE nojob NUMBER;
begin
DBMS_JOB.SUBMIT(:nojob,'my_proc();', sysdate, 'sysdate + 15/24');
end;
the job is submitting successfully, but it can't run automatically. If I force it :
begin
DBMS_JOB.RUN(:nojob);
end;
I've the following error :
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-12011: execution of 1 Jobs failed
ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_IJOB", line 394
ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_JOB", line 267
ORA-06512: at line 2
Have you already seen that problem !
And do you know how resolve it?
Thanks.

Same Problem persists. I removed ':' from my code and tried again, No progress. Here is my code and error message again when I try to run the job manually by dbms_job.run(jobno).
DECLARE
jobno number;
BEGIN
DBMS_JOB.SUBMIT(jobno,
'dbms_utility.analyze_schema(''JHTMW_TU_KAMAL'',''COMPUTE'');',
SYSDATE, 'NEXT_DAY(TRUNC(SYSDATE), ''WEDNESDAY'') + 13/24');
COMMIT;
END;
The error code is
SQL> exec dbms_job.run(21);
BEGIN dbms_job.run(21); END;

My job processes are on. I have a value 2 set for job_queue_processes and the value 10 is set for job_queue_interval in my init.ora file.

  • Problem with MM Scheduling Agreement Inbound Delivery

    Hello all Gurus,
    I have a problem with inbound delivery. Whenever I am trying to create inbound delivery in VL31N with the total open quantity of MM scheduling agreement, I am getting a warning message as below
    "Notified quantity less than goods receipt quantity".
    If the quantity was less then 80, then I should get this message.
    But the total open quantity in MM Scheduling agreement in ME38 is 80. So when I am creating the inbound delivery for 80, why system is giving me this warning message????
    Kindly advise whether we have to maintain any settings anywhere or am I missing something here.
    Thanks and Regards,

    so i want to execute the same job again on some event like at system start etc.

    regards,

    I believe that the link below will solve your problem ..
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/c4/3a7f87505211d189550000e829fbbd/frameset.htm
    For further reference you can use the book
    *Job scheduling for SAP by Sap press ... *
    Really good book ..
    If your issue is that you want the job to happen if not at the scheduled time then at startup you can simply schedule the job twice both at the particular time as well as on Startup ..
    Hope this helps ..

  • F150 and problem with job deleted

    Hi all,
    I have a problem with F150: we have made a dunning session,
    but the batch job was manually stopped and than deleted.
    Now I don't know how to delete the dunning run (all delete
    option are unabled), and if we execute another session the customer
    are blocked by this dunning run.
    Someone know how to delete it?
    Thanks in advance
    Alessio

    Hi,
    Can u check whether Dunning Notices - Delete Dunning run disabled?
    If no dunning notice has been printed - try to restart the session thru SM35.

  • DMU 2.0 problem with sys.scheduler$_program_argument anydata column

    Hi
    I'm testing dmu2.0 conversion (WE8ISO8859P15 to AL32UTF8 12.1.0.1 database)  and I have a problem with scheduler$_program_argument table.
    There is a column VALUE (anydata) which causes tablescan to fail with errors:
    ORA-21700: object does not exist or is marked for delete ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_DUMA_INTERNAL", line 8 ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_DUMA_INTERNAL", line 43 ORA-06512: at line 1
    I'm have not been able to mark it as"skip" and it prevents the conversion.
    What would be the right way to handle this error?
    Br
    Jari

    The ORA-21700 error prevented the DMU scan from querying this column. Please check MOS note 1621719.1. See if you have dropped any types used for the argument values and recreate the dropped type.

  • RMAN started with job Scheduler on RAC

    Has someone an example how to define a job in Oracle job scheduler to run RMAN on one of the running node.
    The idea is be able to choose automatically in case of faillure the node where the RMAN backup will run.

    This may not be a direct answer to your question, but, thinking it might be helpful to you.
    In case, if the instance crashses half way through during RMAN backups, you can presume RMAN backups by placing 'NOT BACKED UP SINCE TIME' to backup the datafiles which are not backed up since the given time.

  • Problems with SMD Scheduler

    Hi,
    I did an update of the java stack including the patches of the solman diagnostics tools. But I didn't set the SMD to "maintenance mode" during the patch activities.
    Since then the scheduler ist not working anymore. The requests stay in the status "queued" and will not be proccessed. I tried to restart the scheduler and after that to reschedule the jobs, but this didn't help. The status of the jobs changes again from "waiting" to "queued" once the start time is passed.
    I check OSS note 1104498. But this didn't solve the problem, too. But I'm not quite sure, which trace file is meant in point 3.
    Does anyone have an idea how to solve the problem?
    Regards
    Ulrike Tubbesing

    Hello,
    When you are clicking on the System in SMSY, do you get a message that this is a dual stack system and gives you a
    choice with a dialog that has two buttons to select 'EPD~JAVA' or 'EPD-ABAP'?
    Just if you are then you have not defined the system correctly in SMSY
    Let me knwo if you get this dialog when you seelct the SID in SMSY.
    Did you use the System Landscape Setup Guide to define your technical system?

    What's your database version?
    If it's 10g or above you should be using the newer DBMS_SCHEDULER package.
    First guess from me...
    Add, BEGIN and END to your "what" line...
       ,what      => 'BEGIN BIS.PRC_FIN_ATUCREDNOTURNA(SYSDATE); END;'

    It isn't problem, you have the expected behaviour: you scheduled it to run every minute, starting from 49:23 when you created the job as ENABLED, and then you ran it manually at 49:28.
    Incidentally, the line a:=a+1  is not doing anything for you.

    #1.5 #12B0F00110060019000000500021505E000478929759A3E8#1258470906635#com.sapportals.wcm.crt.CrtClassLoaderRegistry#sap.com/irj#com.sapportals.wcm.crt.CrtClassLoaderRegistry#Guest#0##n/a##de131140d38b11decc1112b0f0011006#SAPEngine_Application_Thread[impl:3]_6##0#0#Warning#1#/Applications/KMC/CRT#Plain###loader was already registered -> replacement: oldLoader = com.sapportals.portal.prt.util.ApplicationClassLoader~18281828~com.sapportals.portal.prt.util.ApplicationClassLoader~18281828(/usr/sap/PN3/JC44/j2ee/cluster/server1/apps/sap.com/irj/servlet_jsp/irj/root/WEB-INF/portal/portalapps/5_MailServiceScheduler/lib/sqljdbc.jar;/usr/sap/PN3/JC44/j2ee/cluster/server1/apps/sap.com/irj/servlet_jsp/irj/root/WEB-INF/portal/portalapps/5_MailServiceScheduler/lib/MailServiceSchedulerapi.jar;/usr/sap/PN3/JC44/j2ee/cluster/server1/apps/sap.com/irj/servlet_jsp/irj/root/WEB-INF/portal/portalapps/5_MailServiceScheduler/lib/com.sap.portal.runtime.system.clusterinformation_api.jar;) -> newLoader = com.sapportals.portal.prt.util.ApplicationClassLoader~2dc12dc1~Com.sapportals.portal.prt.util.ApplicationClassLoader~2dc12dc1(/usr/sap/PN3/JC44/j2ee/cluster/server1/apps/sap.com/irj/servlet_jsp/irj/root/WEB-INF/portal/portalapps/MailServiceScheduler/lib/sqljdbc.jar;/usr/sap/PN3/JC44/j2ee/cluster/server1/apps/sap.com/irj/servlet_jsp/irj/root/WEB-INF/portal/portalapps/MailServiceScheduler/lib/MailServiceSchedulerapi.jar;/usr/sap/PN3/JC44/j2ee/cluster/server1/apps/sap.com/irj/servlet_jsp/irj/root/WEB-INF/portal/portalapps/MailServiceScheduler/lib/com.sap.portal.runtime.system.clusterinformation_api.jar;)#
    My guess is that in the above line it is just picking up the jar files. But I want to know why it is trying repeatedly to pick up the jar files??
    Kindly help me out of this.
    Regards,
    Shilpa B.V
    PS: Please note that in the above code pasted, I have replaced @ with ~ as it was giving soem trouble

    Hi Detlev,
    Thanks for your help.
    But I did not rename the par from "5_MailServiceScheduler" to "MailServiceScheduler, I am confused now.
    And I completely agree on your statement that portal has to be restarted as KM does not support hot deployment. BUt my doubt is even before the KM went down, the message got printed in the log file several times..Why this strange behaviour??
    Also, could you please let me know how to reference the jar files via portalapp.xml.

  • Help with job scheduling; decode error

    Hi
    Iam trying to change a job that runs my procedure using dbms_job.. Here is the output I got.
    Can someone help me why this is giving me errors.
    <code>
    SQL> exec dbms_job.next_date(395,decode(sign(substr(to_char(sysdate,'dd/mm/yy hh24:mi'),10,2)-17),-1,'trunc(sysdate) +18.5/24',1,'trunc(sysdate)+1+6.5/24'));
    BEGIN dbms_job.next_date(395,decode(sign(substr(to_char(sysdate,'dd/mm/yy hh24:mi'),10,2)-17),-1,'trunc(sysdate) +18.5/24',1,'trunc(sysdate)+1+6.5/24')); END;

    </code>
    Thanks in advance

    I'm not sure what you're trying to achieve.
    Is this a one time action or do you want to run this statement on a regular basis?
    How about this:
    begin
      if ( to_number(to_char(sysdate,'hh24')) <= 17 ) then
        dbms_job.next_date(395, 'trunc(sysdate)+18.5/24');
      else
        dbms_job.next_date(395, 'trunc(sysdate)+1+6.5/24');
      end if;
    end;

  • Problem with  "Employee Schedule" template

    Help!
    I'm trying to use the Employee Schedule template and add some new values to the popup of times. Although they appear just as times like "5:00 PM", they actually seem to be date-times (on 15 Jul 2008, which I guess is when the template was created).
    If I add a new value like "11:00 PM" it's taken to be today's date so the hours calculation is way out. If I type in something like "15 Jul 2008 11:00PM" then the calculation works but I see the date as well as the time!
    Is there any way of changing the formatting of a cell that's of type "Pop-Up Menu" to only show hours and minutes?
    -Rolf

    Rolf,
    If you want to add new values, change them all so they will all have the same date. You'll need to do this for both starting and ending times so the math will come out properly. When you've made a new pair of Pop-ups, copy them and paste them to all the locations where you need them.

    Jerry
