Problem with N91-8gb

my hdd is 6.5gb full (music)
when i try to mark all the music....it shows the error - Memory full
it shows the same error on GPRS when i am on some webpage it shows the same error message
my HDD has 550mb free....
how do i get rid of this problem....

i have not done any additions to the phone
its the way it had come in
everything is still default
how can i run out of RAM then
how do i get about this problem
it is really annoying....
all the problems faced from this brand new phone are:
1. when i mark all the music it shows memory full (the problem above)
2. takes more than a minute in the music player when i have to type in something to search, and if i have to press a key more than once to go to the next letter or something then it just takes the first letter and moves on..
3. the call key does not function at times when i am calling a number by selecting the name in the contact book, have to either restart or type down the number to call it (this happens quite often)
4. the folder in which all my music is does not open through the PC Suite file manager on the computer, so everytime i need to save music on the phone i have to create another folder and i can delete it only through the phone and not the computer....
Didnt expect a brand new phone to have so many problems....please help

Problem with N95 8Gb Gallery

I have a quite annoying problem with my N95 8Gb Gallery.
Since last week, when I open the gallery it appears a lot of system files that shouldn't be there instead of only showing my videos and photos. It makes the phone a lot slower and it crashes. It takes a lot of time to select any file.
Is it some kind of system trouble or have I messed up with something i shouldnt?

Well I have tried to just loads 2 images from the laptop onto my mobile. I have tried doing a direct file transfer (mass media) and then also tried through Nokia PC suite-uploaded via the CD rom I was given.On both occasions this has been uncessful to view images from the gallery menu on the phone..crashes!
I think the photos are actually on the phone under the file manager folder I can find them stored here. However on opening the gallery to try and view these files, the phone freezes and I am unable to exit the menu -using the 'back' button have to press the red phone cancel button. Once out of the gallery folder and back to the main screen I can then no longer access and shortcut menus for about 3mins. Very frustrating. The most recent phone I have now, I got 2 days ago-I've not even plugged into my laptop, and when asking a friend to send me images via bluetooth I cannot open this either!! (it comes as a text format from bluetooth) and on opening the phone just freezes again. I try to save this when asked to mass memory and not phone memory.
I can take images on my 'phone camera' but again cannot view as unable to access the gallery-constantly freezes the phone.The images are not a large file just jpeg format for example 45KB another one I tried was much larger 1MB...
I still don't understand why this is happening all the time!!! Many thanks for your help.... (Orange are going to send me a new sim card to try) and see if this helps.

Messaging problem with N91

i am using an n91 phone for the past 7 months. But since 3 or 4 months i am facing a problem with the messaging feature. After i send a message the phone gets hang, displaying " sending message" for more than one minute.Then the message is sent and delivered. At this time i cant do anything with the phone,the phone is completely hang.Then I approached a near by nokia service center and they fixed the problem by formatting the phone. But after 3 or 4 weeks the problem came back agn and now i have to wait more than one minute after i send a message. How can i permenantly fix this problem?

Sync Problem with Zen 8GB ¬____

Okay, so I bought my zen, then after some issues that have been delt with and a replacement later, I finnally got a zen that worked, and hav been using it for about a month now.
im very happy with it, but i hav been having the most annoying problem with it. basically i did the big NO NO of connecting the player BEFORE installing it with the CD, so Vista has installed it, i think but without the right software to do so.
so now, everytime i connect it to the computer, even after installing the CD, all it does is charge, it does not dock. after hours of stress and hair pulling, i finally found how to get it to dock.
I go to device manager and uninstall the creative zen, then take out the USB, then put it back in.
this allows me to go into dock mode, but a little vista bubble in the corner says it is installing new hardware (the zen) and after about 5 seconds, the zen is back in device manager after a "successful installation", and it once again becomes undocked untill I uninstall and repeat.
If i go to propeties of the creative zen it says "This device cannot start. (Code 0)" is that is any help.
its so annoying and stressful, having to drag 3 songs on at a time, and i cant create any playlists or do anything much other than charge the player.

Do you have Service Pack installed on the Computer? Did you try to have Windows update the driver for it's? Do you have another usb cord for the device you can use as the cord could be bad. I would try a new cord before I did anything else to my computer. Take player to the store with you when purchasing so you know that it's the right one. They're not very expsensi've(under $0.00 U.S.) You may try system restore to a time befroe you started using the Zen. BE ADVISED THAT WILL DELETE ALL FILES,PROGRAMS,WINDOWS UPDATES ECT, that where installed after the restore date. Have you formatted the playe? That too will erase all files on the Zen. I would try the format on the player first before a system restore.

Problem with N81 8GB

I wonder anyone knows the solution to the problem i got with my n81 8gb
Yesterday morning it suddenly stopped working apart from the switch off and keypad locking buttons everything else on the device is just non responsive. DOes not matter what i do with it, just would not do anything. Cant even get the data from it either as it wont let me select the data transfer option when connected to the pc. So i m kinda stuck, cos at least i wanted my data from it as i just had it put on the phone to transfer to my hom epc from work.
I am ina bit tight spot. SOmeone help me.

I have recently buyed an N95 8GB and I can tell you that this is a very nice phone !
But I also have to tell you that I have a little trouble with my phone.
I can't install any kind of simbyan game over 1MB ... I have read from diferet sources that I have to un-sis them ... you know that this kind of s**ks, because I payed 20 milions of lei in my country and that means about 600 american dolars.
On my recent phone I could install ANY type of simbyan game, without any kind of restrictions.
Can't I do anything else to install them?
And if there isn't, please tell me a good method to install them with un-sis or anything, just to work, thanks!

Have you tried installing games or applications from here ?
These games and applications are very good and I haven´t experienced any kind of trouble installing them on any phone.

Problems with N91(GSM) multimedia/music key

the multimedia key pressing which can be entered directly to the NOW PLAYING option of the music player is not working properly in my set.whenever i press that key a message is shown on the screen..."ITEM NO LONGER AVAILABLE.RESTORING DEFAULT MULTIMEDIA KEY SETTINGS"...i can't find the solution of the problem.can anyone help me???

well it is refresing for the past 10 minutes, for 100+ mb of data does it suppose to take this long? still going on though ...

Confusing problem with my 8GB ipod nano 3rd gen...help!

ive had this thing since november/december last year (08) and every single day of the week no matter what im doing with it, it would suddenly freeze up and id have 2 reset it... ive done that over 100 times! HELP!!

This will be what you can do to recover it. If that however fails, you will have to see a Nokia care point. The guides provide you with such information and even more. Good luck!

Problem with N91

I am using N91-4GB, I have stored music files (mp3) in file manager, but it still doesn't refresh music library. What can i do? I am unable to listen to music from music menu(playlist), now I need to select one by one from File Manger.....

If you got a backup do a reset to factory or format the phone by code, restore the files then refresh the library.

When will nokia be removing a firmware for n91 8gb??
1can Hard drive stoped working.it says 'hard drive not available'.
2:defragmenting hdd does not go above 3%.

N95 8gb Problem with GPS in US.

Hi. I just brought nokia n95 8gb(Singapore model). I just updated my cell to 11 firmware. Now i have a big problem with GPS. I can find some satellites but i cant establish connection with them. How i can fix this problem? All the time if im going to google maps for example i can only see yellow blinking(satellite search) ...it never turns green...And i'm living in USA,New York. I tried differenet places and it doesnt work..Singapore phone doesn't work properly in US?

Yeaaaaah i fixed the problem by myself. Make sure everybody check in GPS data>Options>Positioning settings> that you disable bluetooth GPS and Network based. Yessir.U can close this topic.

Problem with Zen X-fi 8gb

Hi all, I'm italian so my english isn't very good, sorry
I have a zen x-fi 8gb and my problem is that when I connect the player at pc(windows xp sp2 professional) I can't transfer the files because the player recharge only, for transfer the files I must disinstall the player from hardware list and if I will be lucky I can transfer the file
Now I have to send my player in assistance or change the firmware?

I also have a Zen X-fi 8gb and I?m also using Windows XP SP2. I?m using WMP. I?m also using the Creative Media softwarethat came with my unit when I bought it a years ago. I have never had a problem with my unit just like you. I suggest uninstalling the Creative software and then try reinstalling it. I've had to do that with numerous software programs over the years that didn't work right the first time around. The second time around?has almost always taken care of the problem. Hope this hel

Problem with Zen X-Fi 8Gb and Earpho

Hi All
I've got a problem with my new Zen X-Fi 8Gb and my Bose In-ear earphones.
While I'm listening to the music, if I increase the volume level, everything goes right till I reach 20.
If I overcome this level I can hear just one channel of my earphones. When I reach the maximum volume (25) I can't listen to the music (because audio comes and goes), music is intermittent. For sure the earphones works proprely.
Can anybody tell me what I could do?

No because I set to off every feature such as equalizator, bass boost, smart volume and limitation and also x-fi crystalizer and expand.
X-Fi works fine if I use crati've's earphones... I've tryed Senneheser's neckband headphones and everything goes right... There is this problem only with Bose...

Bootup holding CMD+r, or the Option/alt key to boot from the Restore partition & use Disk Utility from there to Repair the Disk, then Repair Permissions.
If that doesn't work...
To find out if it's system wide or user specific, try this...
Open System Preferences>Users & Groups, unlock the lock, click on the little plus icon, make a new admin account, log out & into the new account.
Does it work in the new account?
