    Hi
i have a MBP and Yosemite.
Before the update i could close the lid when watching movies on the mac and connecting to HDMI to my TV and the sound and images worked OK ( i uses insomnia X for being able to close the lid)
After the update, when i close the lid the images works but the sound doesn't come out from the TV but from the mac.
it was working before and not anymore.. anybody knows what this ca be?

First time around, they gave me an apple tv for the inconvenience........ I will keep you guys posted once I find out more from the Apple Store.
Free Apple TV eh? Thats rather outstanding for a creaking on the plastic hinge cover.
Nice video, the "old door" sound of soft creaking plastic.    Thats not the (2 of them) hinge sound, which (ive only heard one make the noise, on an old air) is a 'grrr' sound of the alloy creating a rubbing noise.
Yes, find out what the Apple store says.  Pretty obviously the plastic hinge cover, which does nothing, is cosmetic and doesnt affect anything.
There could be a crack in the hinge cover I cant see that obviously. Another option is the cover isnt snapped into place correctly.
I wouldnt worry about it, its ultimately nothing, but youll get it serviced and fixed when you get to Apple.
Im shocked they just outright gave you a free AppleTV, thats a great 'deal' (meaning free), and top notch from Apple

  • Problem with opening and closing windows

    Hi,
I have a Flex Desktop Application with a Splash screen that
displays for 5 seconds which is the initial WindowedApplication
which uses script to centre itself in the screen at 400 x 300.
It then loads and opens up a Window where people login and
closes the splash screen (using NativeWindow.close) - the login
window it opens is again 400 x 300 and centred on the screen.
When the user susccessfully logins in, the login window needs
to load and open a Window called MainWindow which is when my
software will actually begin - this MainWindow needs to be
maximised so I have a script inside it that does this
(NativeWindow.maximise). The login window also needs to close and
this is where my problem lies. I keep getting a problem when I use
NativeWindow.close in the login window and then open the MainWindow
    and run the NativeWindow.maximise.
Any suggestions or ideas on how I can do this better? This is
my first Flex application and I'm just a beginner.
I can send the Flex archive if required.

    Hello Srinujalleda,
    Thanks for your precious time.
    I tried the referred T-Code

It only gives transactions during the specified posting period and total of it.
Please guide me further in case if I need to give proper input at selection screen or elsewhere.

  • Customer Statement with opening and closing balances

    Dear Forum,
The users want to generate the Customer Statement with opening and closing balances like the traditional one. The statement now generated gives the list of all open items as on date, but the users want the statement with opening balances as on the date of the begining of the range specified and the closing balance at the end of the period for which the statement is generated. Is there a way to generate the same from the system.
    Thanks for the help.

    Hi,
SPRO> Financial Accounting (New) > Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable > Customer Accounts > Line Items > Correspondence > Make and Check Settings for Correspondence
You can use the program RFKORD10 with correspondance type SAP06 for your company code
This program prints account statements and open items lists for customers and vendors in letter form. For account statements, all postings between two key dates, as well as the opening and closing balance, are listed.

  • Issue with opening and closing 13 inch MBP

I recently received a 13 inch 8gb memory Macbook pro for educational purposes. Although I believe it is overall a great product, I have noticed an issue pertaining to opening and closing the device. Occasionally when I attempt to open the device, I notice that the black mechanism which attaches the display and keyboard together fails, or locks up in an unusual manner which prevents me from opening the device fully. This causes me to have to close the device, and open it once more. Although it doesn't appear to be a huge issue, I was wondering if this should be something of concern, or something that is common and is nothing to be worried about.

Although this isn't something that I've personally seen before, I probably wouldn't be too concerned if it doesn't look like anything is actually broken - assuming that it didn't cause issues with using the device, that is.
What might be a good idea, though, is if you have a few minutes and have an ARS nearby, is to make a Genius Bar appointment and let Apple take a quick look at it. It looks like some piece of mind is all you want, and given the scenario, having someone physically able to see/feel the issue is probably your best bet. The appointments are 15 minutes, and free of charge. You can make an appointment here.

  • Difference between running pm-suspend and closing the lid.

    Hi!
Today i noticed this strange thing: i'm using xfce4.10 and pm-utils to suspend.
This morning i noticed that running a "pm-suspend" from my terminal, won't switch off my wireless card, while suspending with xfce buttons or closing the lid, would do it.
Why? What is the difference between these two actions (running pm-suspend and closing the lid)? As far as i know, the only difference is that there is no call to upower running pm-suspend from terminal.
ps: sorry for the subject, that is not describing the question the best!
Last edited by nierro (2012-06-17 11:03:55)

Uhm yes, i know SUSPEND_MODULES array can do it.
What i was wondering is: xfce4-power-manager uses pm-suspend to suspend. So why does it something pm-suspend alone doesn't? As i said, the only difference for me, is that that button relies upon upower too. So i suspect it is upower that switch off my wireless card, isn't it?
My question is not how can i reach the same behaviour with pm-suspend alone, but what does that button in the xfce4-panel.
    I'm only curious!

  • COPA reporting with open and closed projects

    Dear All,
I am designing a COPA solution for an infrastructure providing company using project systems and posting to/settling out of projects on a monthly basis. Projects run for long periods and continually incurr costs and earn revenue untill they are closed. The requirement is to report by common characteristics (say customer group) and separately for open and closed projects. My issue is how to separate the line items of projects where status changed to closed (having posted with the status REL previously), from the open ones, without entering the projects individually in the selections screen.
Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,

An item of a purchase requisition is only regarded as Closed if the requested order quantity has been included in a purchase order.
You can also set an item to Closed manually. <b>This item will then not be taken into account by the materials planning and control system.</b>
You can set the Closed indicator manually at the following points (it can later be cancelled if necessary):
When changing a purchase requisition, on the item detail screen
When creating a purchase order referencing a requisition, on the item detail screen of the PO
You can still create purchase orders by referencing a requisition if this indicator has been set in the requisition concerned.
The indicator can also be set in the case of automatic PO generation from purchase requisitions. On the initial screen of the requisition, you can specify that the requisition is to count as closed as soon as an associated purchase order has been generated, even if the complete quantity requested has not been ordered, for example (Set reqs. to "closed" indicator).

  • Intersperse daily totals with opening and closing balance

    Hi All
Suppose we have a data set (simplified from my query but will suffice)
select 1 as daynum, 'CR' as trantype, 200 as amount from dual union all
select 1 as daynum, 'DR' as trantype, -300 as amount from dual union all
select 2 as daynum, 'CR' as trantype, 800 as amount from dual union all
select 2 as daynum, 'DR' as trantype, -200 as amount from dual union all
select 3 as daynum, 'CR' as trantype, 900 as amount from dual union all
select 3 as daynum, 'DR' as trantype, -500 as amount from dual
)How would you go about getting a result set that looks like:
    1, Opening Balance, 0
    1, CR, 200
    1, DR, -300
    1, Closing Balance, -100
    2, Opening Balance, -100
    2, CR, 800
    2, DR, -200
    2, Closing Balance, 500
    3, Opening Balance, 500
    3, CR, 900
    3, DR, -500
    3, Closing Balance, 900
    4, Opening Balance, 900
    4, Closing Balance, 900
    I'm thinking:
generate an arbitrary number of rows for the number of days I want to report over (in this case, 4)
cross join these with 2 row set of constants "opening" and "closing" balanace
-> I have now an opening and closing balance row for every day
union it with my data so that "opening/CLosing balance" is a type too (and nulls in the amount column)
case when the type is like '%Balance' then sum(amount) over(order by day, orderkind rows unbounded preceding) else amount
(orderkind is a constant 0 for opening, 1 for all the datarows, 2 for closing)
    Is it right?
    Is there a better way?

I am having some trouble with a basic function in Logic. When I go to "file" and select "import," the window of options appears. However, when I select a file and click the "import" button, literally nothing happens. I have had a similar problem, when I go to the "file" menu and select "open." A window will appear for me to browse to the logic file I want to open, but when I click "open," nothing happens. However, if I manually go to the file and double-click it, then the file will open. The drop-down is set to "All logic document types," though I have tried "all Logic songs" with the same problem. Please help!
    Best,
    Jon

you know whats funny, this project has to do with arrays of objects and not inheritance. We learned inheritance last week but the lab we are doing which is this, is for arrays of objects. sorry for the confusion lol. so you can completely ignore this, it actually has it in big bold letters at the top of the web page for the lab.
