Have you checked out this post from Adobe? I know it says for After Effects but it definitely applies to Premiere too. We have some AJA cards whose components in /library/QuickTime were causing similar Adobe QT32 server hangups; removing them solved our issue but also broke compatibility with older apps like FCP 7.

Has anyone else used a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 4GB on a mac in AE? We just got one from Macvidcards and AE seems really slow starting and closing.
In fact when you quit the MediaCore then hangs for ages when you restart. I edited the supported Raytracer setting and it is seen and can use Cuda.
Also is anyone still getting "Adobe QT32 Server (Not Responding)", every time you start AE? If you look in process viewer it shows up.

Adobe qt32 server not responding every time, when launched AE or PR and maybe other apps. Sometimes playback freezing, working only GUI and fix it only RESET. All apps update to last versions.

Nobody can tell you anything without proper system info or other technical details. We don't even know which versions of the programs.

Problems reinstalling Premiere and Encore CS3

Using Vista 64,I had the problem of losing my 3 optical drives (2 DVD and 1 Blu-Ray) two days ago.(The problem with the drivers not being available).Despite trying the regedit fix (upper and lower filter removal),they still did not work and I could not use the repair option on the installer DVD for obvious reasons.So a fresh install was carried out,everything I had on the computer before the re-install has loaded and is working fine,except Premiere Pro CS3 and Encore CS3.I can load the third party content on the Premiere disc and the codecs and the library on the Encore disc but NOT the main programmes.Anybody know of a workaround?.
The Vista 64 is an upgrade from XP professional and the Premiere CS3 an upgrade from Premiere 6.5.Both applications worked fine until my optical drive problem.Any help or advice appreciated.

Sounds like a problematic video driver or codec issue. You need to update all your drivers and try again. Also get rid of any unnecessary codecs. Try opening files in various formats and see if the same happens. Also you should search the KnowledgeBase, it contains a lot of information about this kind of problem.
If all fails, call Adobe Tech Support...

Problem with GuardianEdge and Discoverer export

We're having problems doing XLS or SLK exports out of Discoverer Plus 10g and appears to only be happening on PCs where the GuardianEdge encryption product has been installed. In fact, we can export to a shared drive (i.e. server not protected by GuardianEdge) and the export works fine -- even from those PCs where GuardianEdge has been installed. So therefore GuardianEdge is our prime suspect at the moment.
When we try to save to our GuardianEdge protected PC, we get the message "Export Failed". You then can't do anything except exit. It appears to sever the connection to the server. You get the standard "contact the administrator" error when you try to do something (or even when you exit).
Is anyone else having this problem? Does anyone have any ideas how to go about figuring out a resolution to this isse? Any ideas on what is going on between Discoverer and GuardianEdge?

Open the report up and add a sort to the ID field, CR will sort the matching row data with the id so when exported it too will be sorted and alined properly.
If you want to do this in code then post to the [.NET SDK forum|SAP Crystal Reports, version for Visual Studio;.
But PLEASE search first in forums and in our knowledge base, someone has likely already asked and an answer has been given.

Problems with QT and MPEG2 Export

The media encoder crashes all the time.
I am running leopard on a brand new MacPro with 12 gigs of ram.
When I export to quicktime or to mpg2, I get a file with tons of black on the top and bottom.
The black stays there after making a dvd even though I made the video for widescreen and exported it with the same settings as I used in CS3.
The file looks fuzzy too.
When I import Illustrator files they come in fuzzy and get even fuzzier when I export.
I tried to use encore to go direct to dvd but I cannot find a place to set auto start and loop.
So no. CS4 does NOT work for me. I am reinstalling CS3.

I have 4.1 and I am running Leopard - not snow leopard (I am waiting to install). It seems to work once then bomb each time afterwards then if I reboot it will work again once - sometimes.

I am doing a movie of stills and text mixed with video for a large tv monitor in our lobby. The lobby tvs are wide screen 1920 x 1080
(I inherited the file from someone else originally so I wasn't involved in the setting the specs.)
Source 1280x1080 - (in cs3 it was set to output 1920x1080 - I tried that and I tried output at 1280x1080 but still got black bars top and bottom)
I think that I used to get small black bars on the sides but it bled off of the tv screen - I just made sure I didn't have text in the area that bled off) I tested the movie on the tv and it doesn't hide the bars at all.
Bitrate H.264
Square pixels (have to have this or circles become ovals etc)
I opened the file from CS3 that worked to update in CS4 (I checked in cs3 - the settings didn't change)
HDTV - 1080p 24
Frame rate 24
Summary
1920x1080, 24 (fps), progressive, 24 bit -color
Alternates 0 (though loop and auto play were available choices in cs3 - I cannot find them in cs4) I used iDVD to make the dvds and made those choices there.
If I need to be working in 1920x1080 (makes sense) - can I change the file I have to that setting? And if so how? Do you think that will be a solution?

I suspected that I would need to put it to size in Photoshop, so I will try that. I was hoping to just use native files. I can live with that.

Thank you for that info. Can I do it in Premiere or only Encore? I keep getting an error in encore when I try to burn. I made a screen shot of the settings but must have overwrote the error.
On another note: I set it to save maximum 5 versions yet I get forever max saves. I worked all day and had about a hundred backup versions (every 5 min.)

Problems with Premiere and Photoshop

I have recently downloaded photoshop and premiere, however i have run into a problem. When i try to run either program, it says i need to sign in, but after a brief load screen it says that either i am not connected to the internet (which i am) or my clock is not set right (which seems irrelevant). It says i must sign in within 7 days or the program with stop working. What can i do?

Problems with pen and workspace after Adobe CC 2014 upgrade

Hi Guys,
My Adobe programs were actualized to CC 2014 and now I am with 2 problems:
In Photoshop CC 2014, the pressure pen not work (it worked in the previous CC version). The dialog box show a triangle with exclamation point.
In Illustrator CC 2014, the workspace not actualized how normally happen in others versions.
Can someone help me?

Adobe QT32 server keeps hanging up all the time.....

I am having some trouble with Premiere Elements 12.1
Adobe QT32 Server ist hanging up all the time. Cancelling the process is making the programm unusable. Keeping it running means that it nearly takes all of my resources and ram up to 90 percent....
Any ideas? Would be very thankfull for help!!!

With regard to the file named "Adobe Premiere Elements Prefs"......It is the settings file. And, its deletion has proven at times to be
the answer to all sort of program malfunctions. From what I understand, the Mac path to this Prefs file is
Users\Owner\Libraries\Application Support\Adobe\Premiere Elements\12.0.
In Windows, I typically write to delete the Adobe Premiere Elements Prefs file and, if that does not work, then the whole 12.0 Folder
in which it exists. I am not sure if the whole 12.0 Folder deletion is OK for Mac as it is for Windows.

Doesn't always do it, but now I've found an instance where it's reliably repeatable. As I scrub through a certain part of the footage, it crashes. Or it crashes at the same point during rendering.
I've succesfully edited and rendered clips made from the same cameras, recorder (Tricaster 410) - even from the same actual media file. I've tried updating QuickTime, uninstalling, reinstalling QuickTime, doing windows updates, updating GPU drivers from Nvidia, clearing media cache DB, launching Premiere while holding shift. Nothing makes a difference.
System is an 2 CPU Intel Xeon E5-2687W 3.1 GHz, 64GB RAM running Win7 Pro 64.
Anyone have any suggestions that don't involve reinstalling CS6?

...BE AWARE.....the newest versions of PPro CC 2014 contain a "fix" for your problems with the .MOV 32 bit codec. Somehow, .MOVs are NOW handled in a 64 bit environment by PPro which REMOVES the CRIPPLING use of the 32 bit Quirktime process, and ALLOWS much greater memory to be used than the old 4 GB limit.......I've seen the DRASTIC improvement myself on my Haswell laptop. I am not sure about Media Encoder, however, it would be STUPID if the same improvement was not also made with THAT program. CS6 does NOT have this improvement.....and WILL not updated to get it. If I return to PPro 5.5....the "old" crappy performance returns with Canon MOVs......even on a TWICE as powerful machine !!!!.....UGH !!!
....Better to submit to the "subscription model" and its pecadillos that try to edit with a QUIRKTIME hobbled workflow !!!!

Problem with modules and ModuleLoader

If i create a normal flex project with fBuilder, i'm able to
use
modules in a lot of different ways (as mxml, as as in a
function etc..)...
but if i try to use them in my fds application (created with
fds
eclipse plugin or as a dataServices project) i can't use
modules. The compile-time error message is
always the same:
Could not resolve <mx:ModuleLoader> to a component
implementation
I tried a lot of solutions, paying attention to import all
the classes, to declaration, naming, positioning
etc...but nothing changes, this thing is drivining me
crazy!!!.
I will appreciate anykind of help.

Problem with EAP and RADIUS

I have the following problem with RADIUS and EAP authentication.
Radius server sends an "Access-Accept" packet to my AP, but the station does not authenticate.
I've tried with different encryption configuration and with different authentication methods under "dot11 essid", but nothing changes...
What could it be?

Stefano: not sure if related but there is an unsupported attribute in the debugs:

Try to eliminate any configured attributes on radius except those in IETF radius. Then try again.
You may also chech by removing the shared eap as suggested above. Let us know if this works.

How come every time I close the app, I get this error message: Adobe QT32 Server CC 2014.2 has stopped working

I'm having the same problem on Windows 8.1 with the latest version of PP CC. I seem to only have this problem since the last update, although I don't necessarily edit every day. The problem mostly occurs when I close a project and exit PP, but I have had it a couple of times while the program is open.

All crawl jobs are failing with errors, Query server not responding.

I'm facing issue with search service , one of the Query server not responding and all the crawl jobs are throwing errors.
Errors:
"The SharePoint item being crawled returned an error when requesting data from the web service. ( Error from SharePoint site )"
"The object was not found. ( Error from SharePoint site: HttpStatusCode NotFound The request failed with HTTP status 404: Not Found. )"
Please suggest some resolutions.

1. First verify as given in this article - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2323206?wa=wsignin1.0
2. If not 1 resolves issue then try to disable the anonymous access on the default zone web application(in content source)
3. Also check this article if above two steps does not resolve the issue - http://www.sharepointtechs.com/the-sharepoint-item-being-crawled-returned-an-error-when-requesting-data-from-the-web-service-error-from-sharepoint-site-value-does-not-fall-within-the-expected-range
4. If none of the above works then install this CU update http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2596505 and
then re-run you SP Configuration Wizard and restart your SharePoint Server. But before installing this CU on your SharePoint Server ensure your have the latest backup.
4. If all above does not work then remove
the anonymous access (if enabled) and restore the site collection to a new new site.
