Problem with registering device in Sybase Control Center with SUP 2.2 SP04

Hi,
I have Sybase Unwired Platform SP04, and I am trying to register my Android device in Sybase Control Center. I registered application connection with HWC as a template. I also installed 2 Sybase apps from Google Play Store on my Android device - Sybase Hybrid Web Container and Sybase Mobile Workflow 2.1. When I tried connecting to Sybase Control Center from my Android device using Sybase Mobile Workflow 2.1, there were no log updates at all. I entered IP address of my computer where I installed SUP as server name. It seemed like Sybase Mobile Workflow 2.1 did not work at all on my Android device. However, there are some log messages when I try to connect to SCC through Sybase Hybrid Web Container - "Engine Startup", "Queued Settings Request", "Communication Error".
I was able to successfully register my Android Emulator on SCC using Hybrid Web Container app and test my hybrid web app. What could be the reason for not being able to register a real device on SCC? Is this the wrong Sybase app used on the device? Or some kind of network issue? Both my android device and my computer are connected to the same home WiFi network and have 192.168.x.y IP addresses, which are local IP addresses accordng to my knowledge.
I was told that if I am unable to open SCC on the device by typing https://<IP_address>:8283/scc in a browser, then my device won't be able to access SCC. And, in fact, my Android device cannot open SCC in its browser, while my Android emulator can.
I have tried using USB or WiFi tethering to so that my laptop actually uses exactly the same Internet connection as my Android phone, but this didn't help either. If someone has any idea on how to fix this, your help will be appreciated!

When I open that page on my device's browser, it says that my browser couldn't connect to it.
I don't think my Firewall blocks port 5001, because I have never set it to do it, and I don't see any outbound or inbound rules on my Windows Firewall to block port 5001. I don't think that my WiFi network would block port 5001, but I can't be sure of it. However, I was told that if I create a portable WiFi hotspot and connect my computer with SUP on it to the hotspot, then my computer and Android device would be on the same network even without Internet Connection, and I would be able to connect to SCC on my device, However, even in this case it did not work.

Error registering device in Sybase Control Center

Hi,
I am using SUP 2.0 to develop applications.
I am not able to register ( create) devices in Sybase Control Center.
When i click on Devices tab it shows an error "An internal Error occured. Please check log for details."
On checking the log under the Servers tab in Sybase Control Center it shows a msg as follows:
ERROR Other Thread-727 [javax.xml.messaging.saaj.client.p2p]SAAJ0009: Message send failed.
Please let me know how to solve the issue.

Internal Error in SCC(sybase control center)

Hi,
when i try to register a new device in Sybase control center (SCC),
i am getting an error "an internal Error occured,please check for log details"
what could be the problem ,can any one help me out regarding this..

Hello Vinay,
     It means you didn't changed anything on that Config file.
     Ok now just try to generate the workflow from the Workspace then may that error solve.

Sybase Control Center 3.2.7 -Automatic schedule Backups/Logs

Hello Experts,
I have 2 queries which need to be discussed with you people.
1.I am currently working with Sybase database 15.7.0.122 and with Windows environment .It has also been released a sap note by sap that we sybase central has vanished and the customer's are forced to move to Sybase Control Center.Is there any way or plug ins that we can install and use sybase central.
2.I have downloaded and configured the Sybase Control center 3.2.7 which came with Sybase database 15.7.0.122 software and able to launch ,configure the user database as well as took the backup successfully and it seem's the web gui interface looks good but sometimes clock revolves which is some time annoying.
My question and requirement is to schedule the automatic backups with retention through scripts which I was able to do in Sybase central and Dbacockpit but here don't find any option.However , I see that in Sybase 16.0 business suite there is TASK MANAGEMENT option in Sybase control center where you have option to schedule the jobs.May be I am not able to find in the current version .Appreciate your guidance in fixing it.

For 2nd Query,
It looks be possible system resource issue due to which you see the clock symbol.
Once the sybase central is restored back you may schedule job using the same.

Typically it is because you have not set JRE_HOME or JAVA_HOME. Surce where the jave.exe or the jre.exe exists and add this to the environment.
Also we you are having these types of issues.......the best way to debug this is to open up a DOS window and run the "D:\Sybase\Shared\Sybase Central 6.0.0\win64\scjview.exe" executable from that directory. This way you can see the eeror being pushed out instead of having it flash to the screen.

MSI P67A-C45 problems after OC Genie in MSI Control Center

Hi ,everyone! Yesterday i try press OC Genie button in MSI Control Center 2 and after reboot my computer hangs, video not initializing,
i think motherboard working fine, but problems with BIOS. I tried clear cmos by pressing button on motherboard, but situation not changed.
I,m also took two strips of memory from the motherboard, and boot, after it issued two beeps.

I think MSI Contol Center OC Genie section have bugs!!!

I had similar problems. I resolved them removing all pci cards and battery also. Turn pc on without any cards on pci slots until windows boots.
Don't forget to adjust your system time. When windows boot normally I shut down the computer and put all the cards on pci slots. That procedure resolve my problems.
I suspect of the version of my bios. Recently I upgrade my bios version to the 1.E version avaiable on the MSI site.
I hope that you can fix your problem.

IPhone registration on sybase control center

I have developed a sample flight list application on SUP.
I have imported generated code from sup in x-code .i have imported the required client API'S as mentioned in the sybase infocenter website .
I am unable to register my device on SCC .
I have updated the settings in both SCC and iPhone simulator as well , still unable to register .
Any kind of help would be appreciated .

RFC Implementation problems with SUP iOS

Hi All,
I have two RFCs, the first one is quite simple with two string inputs (defined as load parameters) and the output without any table. The Second one has several output tables and several inputs (String) including an Inputstructure.
The first one is working fine, the second one doesnt work at all. I'm really sure that I implemented everything according to the Documenatation:

Are there any known pitfalls regarding the RFC implementation in SUP that are not documented? I'm trying to implent this RFC now for days and I'm not sure if its my fault or a bug in SUP....

If I understand your problem correctly you are not able to see the out parameters while creating an MBO in SUP? if that's the case, for multiple parameters as an out put you might have to implement a result checker, it will not turn up as an output while creating the MBO.

What's the problem?

CircleGUI does not have a constructor that takes an int. You need to either add this to CircleGui:public CircleGui(int diameter) { /* do stuff */ } or just cal super() instead of super(int). Which one is better is left as an exercise for the reader.

Problem with super() call

The following code is makin my compiler give me the error:

To make the mothods be exported. Shouldnt that be done before? If not... can i put it after the super() call?Sure -- no clients need access to it until it's fully initialized, that should probably be the last thing you do.

ISE Authorization Policy Register Device Problem

I have some problem about register device in ISE. I have to check registered device before access the network. But in register device process. I don't like to install Native Supplicant or any program in the device . I need to register device only and check it again to access the network.
Can I reject the process of ISE about Native Supplicant after register device in the ISE System.

I cannot access the control center. I can swipe down to get to the calendar, but nothing works for the control center. I have 4s. anyone else having this issue?

Have you verified that Control Center is activated in settings for use on both the lock screen and within apps? Control Center works flawlessly on my 4s.
Maybe try a reset if you haven't already?

Control Center worked once after downloading iOS 7, now it's not working at all.

I downloaded iOS 7 to my iPhone 5. The Control Center worked once and then stopped. I can't access it from the lock screen or apps, even though both are enabled in Settings. When I double-click the home button when the phone is locked, nothing happens, and in the lock screen, I can see the bar at the bottom to show where to swipe up, but there's no response when I swipe. I didn't change any settings that I know of, and can't figure out how to fix this problem. I really like the Control Center and want to use it!

My iPad 2 front camera stopped working soon after updating to OS7; coincidence or not I don't know, but once again, since so many others have this problem, I think Apple should take ownership of this issue and come up withy a real fix. I'm tired of hearing 'reboot' as a cure all. Same goes for non-functioning SIM problem still not addressed by Apple.

Problems with Cubase LE 6 and eLicenser Control Center

This isn't strictly an Apple problem, but I thought someone might be able to help me!
I use Cubase LE 6 for my singing, and have never had problems before with exporting my audio tracks to MP3s. Today, however, I went to export my recordings and a box popped up saying I had to go over to my eLicenser Control Center and validate my usage licenses as they had expired. So I did this, apparently successfully (as seen in the photo attached), but then nothing seemed to change. The licenses remained in red, still 'expired' (since the 1st April), and I still can't export my tracks.
Someone please help! I've done what was asked but now am completely stumped. Music software is not my forte! But it is extremely frustrating!

I just had this problem after installing Cubase on my retina mbp. The problem is the retinas higher native resolution that conflicts Cubase's inability to run the program at such a high resolution. To solve
If open, close Cubase
Go to Applications through Finder
Right click Cubase and select "Get Info"
Select the box "Open in Low Resolution"
Once you've done that, re-open Cubase. Although the interface is now a bit pixelated, Cubase should run fine now. If not, don't know what else to say, because it worked for me! Good luck.
