Problem with VF04 due to shipping point

Hi,
I have created a order in which, the shipping point was determined automatically. & this order perfectle appeared in my billing due list(VF04). for some reason, deleted the shipping point & re- enterd the same. Now my order does not appear in the billing due list.
Have any one of you comew across such cases?

Problem with Billing due list, relating to Returns Credits

I have a query/ problem with the billing due list
I cannot seem to be able to create billing documents via VF04 for Returns credits, only via VF01
I have changed Billing relevance of Item category REN to be A - Delivery related,
As we previously had problems with incorrect qty being billed IF returned delivery quantity was different to Returns order quantity - this resolved the problem but I now cannot create billing via billing due list
Messsage appears ' delivery type LR cannot be invoiced with billing type F2'
If i enter billing type RE then the document is not gettting picked up at all
when Billing relevance of item category was B, order related - all seemed to be working ok
I have copy controls set up from LR to RE with item category REN, with pricing type G
Please advise how i can get the Returns to appear in the billing due list

Problem with upgrade due to no connection to audit database

Hello everyone!
Today after work I wanted to finally upgrade ZCM but run into some problems.
We have three servers: Two primary servers and one database-server (OEM Sybase SQL Anywhere). All three are running on SLES 11.
I want to upgrade our ZCM11.2.4MU1 to ZCM11.3a and then to 11.3.1.
I started by upgrading the Sybase database and running dbunload according to the documentation.
Then I continued with "sh install.sh -c" and chose "Audit Database". I selected the OEM Sybase SQL Anywhere with port 2639.
Admin, password and database-name were unique. But I made the mistake to set the servername to the same as the zenworks-database. *sigh*
The installation completed.
The sybase-asa and sybase-audit-asa services couldn't run at the same time, therefore I rebooted the database-server and installed the audit database again with a unique database-name.
Before the upgrade I could start dbisql and connect without problems to backup the database. Now I cannot connect anymore without using the additional parameter: links=tcpip{host=IPorDNSName,port=2638}
Connecting to the Audit Database via dbisql is not possible, with the following message:

Could not connect to the database.
Database server not found
Ensure that the name in the "Server name" field is spelled correctly, that the network options on the network tab are correct and that the database server has been started.

With that said, it is not possible to upgrade the first primary server because the setup routine is also not possible to connect to the Audit Server:

The services sybase-asa and sybase-audit-asa are both running. I also restarted them a couple of times.

Do you have any idea what I missed?
Is the duplicate servername still somewhere existend and prevents the proper running?

Oh boy... and no backup?
Not sure how to get the sybase back working again... my first choice in
such a case would be to make a contact to Novell, are you able to
create an SR on this?

Problem with VF04

Hello everyone,
I have a problem. We created a delivery with two items category different:
LZN(Stndard Itm w/o Ord)
TATX (Text Item)
We created the flow:
u2022     Delivery - Status: being processed
u2022     HU u2013 Status:
u2022     Picking Request - Status: completed
u2022     Confirmation service - Status: completed
u2022     Confirmation service - Status: completed
u2022     GD Goods issue - Status: completed
u2022     Invoice - Status: completed
u2022     Accounting document - Status: Not cleared
When we try to execute the transaction VF04 this delivery appears, and is not correct.
Another problem is the item category TATX is not in the invoice.
My questions are:
1.     I donu2019t want to see anymore this delivery when I execute the transaction VF04. What Ca I do?
2.     Is normal donu2019t see the position TATX in the invoice?

Check ur delivery if the TATX has got copied from order to delivery? If yes then check the item cat.TATX's billing relevance in VOV7..it shud be A-Deliv.related..
If this is also right then check VTFL at item level TATX shuld be available for ur Delv and Billing type(LF-F2)..
Finally go to VF01 enter ur deliv.no. and at the top right hand side thr is an option called 'Selection list' and copy the TATX item form delivery and do the billing...

Problems with AirPort and WPA access point

Okay, I have done quite a bit of research and I still cannot resolve my problem because of this, I am turning to this user community.
Here is what I know as of right now:
I am running Windows OS X 10.4.4 with AirPort Update 2005-001. My Access Point is a 3COM 8250.
The AP is setup not to broadcast its SSID, to use WPA-TKIP (or in Apple terminology, WPA Personal) and the password is set to use alphanumeric.
When I try to connect my PowerBook with the SSID name, WPA Personal and the correct password, I get the following error:
The password you entered is not correct for the Airport network *******.
To troubleshoot here are the test I have run and their outcomes:
Test
- Result
Set the AP to completely open
- Connected
Set the AP to open, didn't broadcast the SSID
- Connected
Set the AP to WEP, broadcast the SSID
- Connected
Set the AP to WEP, didn't broadcast the SSID
- Connected
Set the AP to WPA & WEP, broadcast the SSID
- WEP : Connected
- WPA : Not Connected
Set the AP to WPA & WEP, didn't broadcast SSID
- WEP:Connected
- WPA:Not Connected
Set the AP to WPA only
- Not Connected.
Now, I should mention that when I was running 10.3.3 I could not connect either. The AP is running the newest firmware and I have three Windows XP SP2 laptops / workstations that can connect with no problems.
I have tried to find a compatibility matrix on both 3COM's and Apple's websites to see if it might be a compatibility issue but I have not been able to find one on either site.
Any help that anyone could provide would be greatly appreciate.

It's always a good idea to do a complete power recycle when changing network configurations.
Try the following, in order, checking for Internet access after each step, until resolved:
1. If the modem has a reset switch, use it to reset the modem. Wait at least 5-10 minutes for the modem to initialize.
2. Remove power from the modem. If it has a backup battery, remove this as well. Wait 5-10 minutes. Replace the battery, and add power back to the modem.
3. Perform a complete power recycle of your network components as follows:
Modem/Router Power Recycling - Quick
o Power-off the modem, AirPort Express Base Station (AX), & computer(s); Wait at least 5 minutes.
o Power-on the modem; Wait at least 5 minutes.
o Power-on the AX; Wait at least 5 minutes.
o Power-on the computer(s)
If this fails to get the modem to "recognize" the Internet router, then try the "Full" version.
Modem/Router Power ReCycling - Full
o Power-off the modem, AX, & computer(s). (Wait at least 30 minutes. If possible, leave the modem off overnight.)
o Power-on the modem; Wait at least 15 minutes.
o Power-on the AX; Wait at least 5 minutes.
o Power-on the computer(s)
4. Contact your ISP to have them perform a "modem reset."

SEM-CPM Cockpit problem with tachomter chart: only one pointer shown

I'm using the CPM - cockpit design transaction , UMC_CPM_MEAS, to configure a cockpit frame with a TACHOMETER graph. When I use just one data series and compare current period vs previous period for example, I get a correct graph presentation with the two pointers, but, when I use two data series in order to compare them (for example real vs plan) I'm not able to fill the second pointer measure in the graphic design window and obviously the graph shows just one pointer.
Please, help me in customizing the graph correctly.

That is exactly what I was doing, but, the problem is that I can't assign a keyfigure to the sencond pointer in the Graphic Design step. Although, in Graphic Assigment tab I fill information for the second pointer, it is lost and never remains in the definition and of course it doesn't appears at graphic presentation.
As Kai suggest, there is a way to set Use Categories and Data Index, but, where can I do that?, following the step by step procedure to configure the cockpit frame, there is no a step to set up those properties.

Problem with option: enable this distribution point for prestaged content

Hi, for past few days I have been focused on application deployment with SCCM 2012 R2 (I am learning SCCM 2012 R2 reading books, watching video trainings . . .). Having followed allong book Mastering System Center 2012 R2 Configuration Manager I also did
deployment of Microsoft Office 2013, Adobe Reader 11, Foxit Reader 4.2 and Notepad ++ to test collection containing one Windows 7 computer. In one of examples prestaged content file is created for Foxit Reader application. In order to do so, if I am
right, option Enable this distribution point for prestaged content
has to be checked on distribution point and I did that.
Problem is that I noticed deployment of any application to test collection failed every time - system waits for prestaged content file if this option is selected. Then I have to delete deployment of given application, application itself, deselect option
Enable this distribution point for prestaged content and create app, distribute it to DP and deploy to test collection - then everything works well.
To make things worse, having deselect option Enable this distribution point for prestaged content (I did it yesterday and I checked that several times) this morning I checked again and this option is selected again. What might be the cause
of this behaviour? I expected this option to be deselected - this is weird to say at least.

When you enable the option "Enable this distribution
point for prestaged content" on a DP, it causes newly created applications/packages to default to "Manually copy the content in this package to the distribution point"... This would then cause the deployments on the clients to remain
at 'waiting for content' - unless if you manually prestage the content, as this option requires it.
If you enable the option "Enable this distribution
point for prestaged content" on the DP, but want to automatically have CM distribute the content, then configure the app/package to do so,
before distributing the content: Distribution Settings tab > Prestaged distribution point settings > Automatically download content when packages are assign to distribution points.

Problem with Delivery due list VL10b for STO's - Orders not disappearing

We have a problem where some 'Stock Transfer orders' are not disappearing from the delivery due list VL10b
Collective processing of documents due for delivery - Purchase orders
hence we have had two deliveries created for one STO order, which in turn has been goods receipted
Any ideas on what the cause of this problem could be ?
The quantities have not been changed on the STO

Problem with cron due to TERM

I used to work on HP-UX and schedule jobs using cronjob. TERM was initialized in .profile using following -

eval ` tset -s -Q `
fi
In cron, while executing a job, I used to call .profile to read variables. I used to do like this in cron-
0 0 * * * export TERM=""; . .profile>/dev/null 2>&1; <the actual program>
tset is not working in Solaris. cron is unable to execute due to TERM error. I tried by setting TERM=vt100 and also TERM=sun. Both failed. Any suggestion is highly appreciated.

Another thing I notice is -
cron is having issue executing .profile. I mean I can run this via cron
* * * * * test.sh;However, I cannot run this -
* * * * * . .profile>/dev/null 2>&1; test.sh;If I include the .profile lin in the shell script and schedule it through cron, it is not executed. But, I can execute the same file manually.
It seems cron is having some issue with .profile. I also tried with . $HOME/.profile but it didnt work.
Is there any special setting needs to be done for cron to execute .profile.

Problems with set in and out points

I am editing a basketball game-have done 20 of these games. Suddenly, I cannot change the set in point. If I make a new set in point, my last edit disappears from the timeline. How do I correct this?

I DO make sure the clip in the timeline is not selected when I set the new in and out points in the source clip. I have not been able to figure out anything that is different from the usual way I do this that is why this baffles me. I use PP daily and this seems to happen about once a month. I can't figure it out. I save, quit and restart the computer and then it works as it should. I was trying to understand so that I could prevent this from happening.

Shipping point was not determine in the order with material determination.

I´m using material determination for my sales order, and i need to determine the Shipping point with storage location configuration. So when I add the material number, the quantity and the storage location the material determination runs and in the second line determined the shipping point it is not filled. Any body knows how can I fix this problem?

The shipping point will be determined on the basis of shipping condition, loading group and the delivering plant.
The storage location dependent shipping point determination is used only in delivery documents and not in sales orders (Assign Shipping Points According to Storage Location).
To activate this you must first Define Rule for Determination of Shipping Point, wherein you can assign the rule to the delivery document only and not to the sales order.
If you say that you are getting the shipping point determined based on the number of the material, the quantity and the storage location entered(though it is not) then here note that you are entering the storage location only to the material entered and not to the material determined. When the system determine the alternate material then the shipping point will be determined on the basis of shipping condition, loading group and the delivering plant as per SAP standard process.
Try by entering the storage location to the material determined and check whether you can get the shipping point or not and let the forum know the result.

Determine sales price with shipping point

We are trying to use shipping point as a key field (with sales org. distribution channel and ship-to party together) to determine the sales price. we have created a condition table with the above key fields, and maintained the relevant setting (access sequence, condition type and pricing procedure).
There is an error message in the sales order pricing analysis ("access not made" in the shipping point field).
In the access sequence, we found that the shipping point field's document structure is KOMK.
Can we put to item level field in the condition table and access sequence? is it possible??

Hi.
Structure KOMK refers to header of the sales order, but shipping point of course is on item level.
You have to do some settings to reach your goal, it is possible.
Step 1
Append structure KOMP. Do this by changing through SE11 the table KOMPAZ.
This is the include for structure KOMP.
Add a component e.g. ZZVSTEL with component type VSTEL.
Save, activate.
If you want to make more points, assign search help H_TVST to the component.
Ask a programmer if you don't understand this part.
Step 2
Change user exit MV45AFZZ. Say there that field ZVSTEL should be filled with information from your shipping point.
Do this under part FORM USEREXIT_PRICING_PREPARE_TKOMP.
The coding should be like tkomp-zzvstel = vbap-vstel.
Save, generate.
Step 3
Make a new table as you did before, but first maintain your new field in Condition: allowed fields.
When you create your new table you will see you have two shipping points.
With the button technical view you can check which one ZZVSTEL or VSTEL.
Step 4
Finish with the steps you did before. That was ok.

Problem with STORE_LOC in BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2

I'm using BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2 to create sales orders and it works almost fine ...
I've only one problem: is it possible to get automatically the storage?
If I set the field STORE_LOC in the item, I get that storage in my order, otherwise the storage in the row order is empty.
But if I insert rows by the transactionVA01/02 I get automatically the storage, I don't need to force it.

If Storage Location is assigned against the particular Plant and Shipping point functionally, then using VA01 transaction, it will
pick the storage location automatically. So when using your BAPI try with passing PLANT or SHIPPING POINT and see whether
storage location getting populated or not.

Shipping point in sales order

I have crearted a sales order, and i want to change the shipping point, but each time i change the shipping point it keeps going back to its original shipping point. how can i change this?

you are not able to change the shipping point in the sales order due to shipping point determination settings in OVL2 transaction.
If you want to change the shipping point manually in the sales order you need to maintain that shipping point as manual shipping point in the OVL2 transactuion.
Please go to OVL2 transaction here you enter the shipping point which you want to enter manually in the sales order ,in the colomun Manual shipping point -MShPt with the combination of
Shipping conditions (Customer master)Loading group(Material master)Plant-->Proposed shipping point + MShPt.
Now you can able to enter the shipping point manually in the sales order system will accept.
