Problem wrt54g3g configuration mode bridge or transparent

hi, I have a router wrt54g3g with firmare 2.0.22, I want if can configure mode bridge this router, using the card vodafone 3G, why behind router I have linux server with firewall, vpn and web to filter.
Thank you.

unfortunately this is a product limitation that u cannot bridge this router....at the most what u can do is , assign an ip address to the wrt54g3g which is in the range of the server....and disable the wireless router's dhcp..

  • Please verify the CSS and SCA configuration for one-armed transparent mode

    I have a problem to configure one-armed transparent mode. I cannot access the server with "https://9.9.9.1" even "http://9.9.9.1:80" and "http://9.9.9.1:81" operational. looks CSS cannot communicate properly with SCA.
    I couldn't figure out from CCO sample configuration. please correct the attached configuraiton.

    the problem is the routing.
    You need a route for the client pointing to the SCA like this
    ip route 7.7.7.100 255.255.255.255 11.11.11.100 1
    This is so the reply from the server to the client goes back to the SCA first
    for encryption.

  • AEBSn Configured in Bridge Mode

    The AirPort Disk Utility on two separate Macs detects a shared disk attached to an AEBSn configured in bridge mode but returns an error message when trying to connect to it using an account name and password.
    Could this be because a certain port or port must be forwarded from the router to the AEBSn?
    I am currently forwarding ports TCP 548, 139, 445, and UDP 192. Are there any other ports that need to be forwarded so that the AEBSn is fully functional as a disk sharer while in bridge mode?

    I wouldn't port forward at all to be honest. If you are port forwarding to the routers address the computers wont be able to use those ports, because they are not gettin their IP address from the base station, it's coming directly from the router, the airport base station is simply passing it on.

  • How to configure Message bridge

              Hi,
              I am trying to setup a JMS Message Bridge for prove of concept purpose in Weblogic
              7.0. Here is my configurations from config.xml:
              <JMSBridgeDestination
              AdapterJNDIName="eis.jms.WLSConnectionFactoryJNDIXA"
              ConnectionFactoryJNDIName="weblogic.jms.testConnectionFactory"
              ConnectionURL="t3://localhost:7001"
              DestinationJNDIName="examples.queue2" Name="LocalBridge"
              UserName="kyang" UserPassword="{3DES}2LeceOSYOaRuCvrFshnBZg=="/>
              ConnectionFactoryJNDIName="weblogic.jms.ClientConnectionFactory"
              ConnectionURL="t3://localhost:7001"
              DestinationJNDIName="examples.queue1"
              Name="MQWeblogicDestination" UserName="kyang"/>
              <JMSConnectionFactory DefaultDeliveryMode="Persistent"
              DefaultTimeToDeliver="200" DefaultTimeToLive="1000"
              JNDIName="weblogic.jms.ClientConnectionFactory"
              LoadBalancingEnabled="false" MessagesMaximum="100"
              Name="ClientConnectionFactory" OverrunPolicy="KeepNew"
              ServerAffinityEnabled="false" Targets="examplesServer"/>
              <JMSConnectionFactory DefaultDeliveryMode="Non-Persistent"
              DefaultTimeToDeliver="200" DefaultTimeToLive="1000"
              FlowControlEnabled="false"
              JNDIName="weblogic.jms.testConnectionFactory"
              Name="testConnectionFactory" OverrunPolicy="KeepNew" Targets="examplesServer"/>
              <MessagingBridge Name="MyMessaging Bridge" Selector="*"
              SourceDestination="LocalBridge"
              TargetDestination="MQWeblogicDestination" Targets="examplesServer"/>
              I used a test client get InitialContext with url:"t3://localhost:7001" and send
              the message to "examples.queue2" which is "MyJMSQueue".
              From the monitor screen I found the message was put on "MyJMSQueue" but the message
              was nerver delieveried to the "examples.queue1".
              From the log, I got following message:
              <Jun 20, 2002 10:05:53 AM CDT> <Info> <MessagingBridge> <200012> <Bridge "MyMess
              aging Bridge" suceesfully found the two adapters configured for it.>
              Do you have any suggestions?
              Thanks a lot!

    Don't worry about the log messages about
              "comp/env/wls-connector-resref".
              It is not a problem for the Messaging Bridge feature.
              The real problem is that you have an invalid selector for the
              MessagingBridge. A bridge selector has the same syntax as a JMS message
              selector. As you can see from the JMS specification, a message selector
              syntax is based on a subset of the SQL92 conditional expression syntax.
              I would suggest you try the bridge feature without any selection first
              and add the selector later.

  • Problem with Append mode in File Receiver

    Hello,
    I am facing some problem with Append Mode in File Receiver.
    In channel config, i have given :
    Construction Mode : Append
    File Type : Text
    Message Protocol : File Content Conversion
    The size of the file which i am trying to send is about 9.5MB.
    I got this error,
    "Recovering from loss of connection to database; message
    loaded into queue by recover job: System Job (Failover Recovery)".
    So, it would seem that there was a loss of connnection to the database
    while the file was being written.
    Note -  XI successfully recovered from the connection loss and
    successfully wrote the file, however since the communication channel
    was set to append, it appended to the partial file that was written
    before the database connection loss. This is not correct. The file
    should have been overwritten after the recovery even though the communication
    channel was configured to append.
    Can anyone help me on this regard.
    Thanks,
    Soorya.

    Hi Venkat,
    I would suggest u to split the file in to chunks if u face any problem in processing at a time in append mode and also
    Memory Requirements are must 4 processing huge files:
    Q: Which memory requirements does the File Adapter have? Is there a restriction on the maximum file size it can process?
    A: The maximum file size that can be processed by the File Adapter depends on a number of factors:
    o The most important one is the size of the Java heap, which is shared among all messages processed at a certain point in time. In order to be able to process larger messages without an out of memory error (OOM), it is recommended to increase the size of the available Java heap and/or to reduce the concurrency in the system so that fewer messages are processed in parallel.
    o Another factor negatively influencing the maximum message size in releases up to and including XI 3.0 SP 13 is an enabled charcter set (encoding) conversion if the message type is set to "Text".
    o Using the transport protocol "File Transfer Protocol (FTP)" also uses more memory for processing than the transport protocol "File System (NFS)" (up to and including XI 3.0 SP 13).
    o If the Message Protocol "File Content Conversion" is used in a File Sender channel, consider that not only the size of the input file affects the File Adapter's memory usage, but even more the size of the XML resulting from the conversion, which is usually a few factors larger than the original plain text file.
    To reduce the memory consumption in this scenario, consider configuring the setting "Maximum Recordsets per Message" for the sender channel. This will cause the input file to be split into multiple smaller mesages.

  • Extremes (Access Point Mode, Bridged) Constantly Going Offline

    I have multiple Extremes (all standalone access point mode, bridged with static IPs) randomly going offline. Each Extreme is connected directly to a main switch. Status lights always remain green however I cannot ping the devices, they do not show up in the Airport Utility and they cease to be accessible/visible via WIFI. Plus, when this happens, I often can STILL connect to devices (e.g. printers) that are plugged into the LAN ports of the "offline" Extremes.
    They appear to drop randomly, i.e. not under any particularly heavy load or anything. When I feel them physically, they don't feel unusually warm or anything.
    Thoughts? I have already done a hard reset and reconfig on one of the problem devices.

    Hello Julesomar,
    It sounds like your Airport Extreme is having intermitent connectivity issues. You have already done what I would have started with by resetting the device. I recommend next troubleshooting for sources of interference with the following article:

    Hello ashharuddin,
    Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
    For more information, take a look at:
    iPhone: Troubleshooting No SIM
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ts4148
    Toggle Airplane mode On and Off.
    Try turning iPhone off and then on again.
    Check for a carrier settings update. Tap Settings > General > About. If an update is available, a prompt will appear.
    Remove the SIM Card and verify that it is a valid, carrier-manufactured SIM. Also verify that it is not damaged, worn, or modified. Then reinsert it.
    Restore the iPhone.

  • Can users directly access aeronets configured as Bridges?

    Here is our scenario, We have two Aironet 1400's facing each other to extend our LAN btw two buildings
    One is configured as root bridge the other is non root bridge. I see an option in the GUI to
    configure as an Access Point. My question is- Does the fact that I have the aironets configured
    as bridges prevent unauthorized clients from accessing the bridges and thus our network?
    Are these bridges considered Access Points that a laptop can attach too?

    Hi Richard,
    If you do not want 802.11 clients on the bridge, leave the default Role in the Radio network value to bridge only mode. This allows only other bridges to communicate with the device.

    Are there any LC scale profiles configured in the admin mode? If so, that would reduce L2 resources. If you don't need the L3 profile, remove it and reboot the router to gain back 8k bridge domains.

  • After iPad ios 5 upgrade, itunes "interrupted while restoring" restore gets error -50. iPad starts in 'configure' mode - can I configure as 'New iPad' and then restore?

    After iPad ios 5 upgrade on Win7 64bit pc (x386 iTunes), iTunes gave me error "iTunes was interrupted while restoring, restore again now?" I try to restore but iTunes immediately gives error -50. Apple website says -50 is a timeout, but I have tried all fixes: changed usb ports, new cable, reset iPad, restart pc, remove sim... no good.
    iPad starts in 'configure' mode, but won't restore from any of the several iTunes backups I have. Ready to giveup on 'restore'! iPad is sync'ed in iTunes, connects and syncs ok, so I don't want to lose that info.
    Can someone from Apple advise - can I 'configure' as 'New iPad' and then restore or sync to recover my Apps and data etc? OR if I 'Restore' from iTunes 'Summary' tab, will I still be able to Sync to restore the iPad Apps and data?
    I'm seeing a lot of frustrated Apple users online, hoping that a fix for this problem will help a few of us!! An iOS upgrade should not cause this much pain and wasted effort.

    You might already have tried all of these, but just in case:
    1. Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes.
    2. If you're on a Windows PC, consider uninstalling iTunes and Quicktime, restarting the PC, then reinstalling. This sometimes fixes oddities.
    3. Make sure you have no firewall or anti-virus running/active.
    4. Try different USB cable; if you're using a cable via a hub, try connecting without the hub. On desktop PCs, the direct (non-internal-hub) USB sockets are usually at the back.
    5. If yoiu haven't already done so, download the iOS5 update via the direct links I posted above
    6. If using Update doesn't work, use Restore. Option-click (Mac) or Shift-Click (Windows) the Restore button in itunes.
    7. Before you to the Restore, right-lick the entry for your device in iTunes and choose Backup from the drop-down menu. You may need this backup later.
    If you're srtuck in recovery mode:
    - There are some tips here for Windows users
    http://thehowto.wikidot.com/ipad-stuck-recovery-mode
    - If your device is stuck in Recovery mode, you can try putting it into DFU mode, from which iTunes should be able to Restore, as above. Details here:
    http://www.tipb.com/2010/12/02/tip-put-iphone-ipad-dfu-mode/
    - This link points to a utility that can help (Windows and Mac)

    I hope something here helps

  • Cisco E2500 (Linksys) configured as Bridge works then fails

    I've set up the E2500 at one end of the house with a wire connection from my router at the other end of the house.  It's plugged into a LAN port.  After a system reset and configuration of SSID, password, etc., I set it to Bridge mode.   It works for awhile and gets DHCP from the main router (192.168.1.254)  then 5-10 minutes later the device reverts to using 192.168.1.1 as both router IP and DNS IP and stops working.  At that point, I can no longer access setup info using 192.168.1.1 as a URL.
    What is causing this?  IP conflict?
    There's not much to configure once Bridge mode is selected so I can't figure what's failing.

  • Problem in configuring Terms of Payment

    Hello Friends,
    I'm facing a problem during configuration of payment terms in which i give 15% discount to the customer if paid within 15 days & also the credit period is 15 days for net payment. When i try to configure the same i get an error message FC114 - Enter periods in ascending order, since the cash discount period & the credit period are the same.
    Payment Terms - Within 15 days 15% discount, Within 15 days due net
    Request your assistance.
    Regards,
    Padmanabhan

    Hi Padmanabhan,
    your requirement is not clear, for both the options are on the same day, there should be some difference in days for a discount and net payments in any business, try to collect correct requirement from your client. It may be further 15 days from the due date for discount, then it becomes 30 days.
    How do you offer both options to your customers, in any business i did not heard such terms,
    correct me if i am wrong.
    Bye

    Hi Mariano
    I think you need to <b>restart your portal Engine</b> after making correct settings.

    The easiest way to get Portal to run on Windows is by using the pre-configured zip file distribution. You simply unzip the file and run a quick setup script and then the entire portal with three samples is up and running. The JES installer is not needed.
