Probleme liens vers pages précises PDF
Bonjour a tous,
il y a quelques temps j'ai créé à partir d'Indesign un pdf contenant des liens vers d'autres PDF et pages web.
Voici la syntaxe des liens qui me posent probleme aujourd'hui:
./NomDuPDF.pdf#page=2
Ces liens ont toujours fonctionné, mais depuis une mise a jour d'adobe la semaine dernière (supposition), les liens ne ramènent plus à la page du pdf en question mais le document s'ouvre en première page.
Avez vous une solution pour que ces liens refonctionnent ou est-ce un bugg dans la nouvelle version du logiciel PDF (Reader et Pro)? (Ces liens fonctionnent sur un pc possédant une ancienne version d'Adobe).

Pouvez-vous m'expliquer comment procéder comment faire des liens externes, vers des pages précises du document 2, voir même des lieux précis dans la page. Je n'y parviens pas avec les "hyperliens vers une page"

Problem of Multiple pages in a pdf
I design a pdf that have multiple pages, and I add a submit button in the first page. However, I can only get the first page form data when clicked the submit button. what the problem is ?
ps: the submit button send form data as xml stream.I experienced this issue as well. The only way I have found to get around it has been to create a single page form, but set the subform content to "Flowed." The subform expands to as fields are added. There seem to be a number of issues related to multiple pages. A number of simple operations such as ordering tabs and changing the font on a second or third page causes the program to crash. I have also created a number of text fields that would not output anything even though they looked identical to ones that worked fine.

Problem on saving Pages file in PDF format
I am using Pages on iCloud. When I add a picture and put a frame on it it looks nice but when I save this file in PDF format something happens with the picture frame. It is missing 2 borders from the frame. Is there a way to fix it?

J'ai fait l'acquisition de Keynote dans le but de créer des présentations en liaison avec une base de données.
Les éléments des présentations sont générées à partir d'un logiciel SGBD sous forme de page HTML.
Malheureusement, j'ai constaté que Keynote ajoute automatiquement http:// devant l'adresse ce qui rend impossible d'afficher des pages locales.
L'interface mise au point n'est donc pas utilisable ...
N'y aurait-il pas un "patch" pour résoudre cet inconviennent? Ou un programmeur susceptible de le faire en attendant que Apple veuille bien s'en occuper?
Mercile but est de recréer l'action "atteindre une page d'un autre document" via la programmation

Problem printing flash pages - black box
Hello,
I am trying to help someone else in our office who is having
a problem with swf pages converted from PDF documents. The PDFs
were made from either Quark or Indesign documents. The pages
contain graphics, some of which are bitmap (one-color) images. All
looks good on screen when displayed in a browser, but when printed
the graphics become black boxes, as though a black background were
added to the image. Does anyone know why this is happening or can
someone suggest a workaround? We have thousands of pages that need
to print from our user's browsers but find we are plagued with this
issue. The weird thing is, I found that some of the bitmap images
were fine while most of them were bad. I used PitStop professional
to examine the PDFs and there is nothing different about the images
there.

We're having the same problem too. All of our flash paper
documents are being converted from PDFs that orignally came from
Quark or Indesign. The art department figured out that they could
fix the problem by converting the bitmaps to grayscale. (Our pages
are black and white anyway) We also found out that different
versions of acrobat could fix the probelm. Somtimes version 7 would
work and sometimes version 4 would work. A lot of trial and error
and wasting paper. -

Hi guys. i have some problem with a link from a pdf on-line,when i click on it,the page adds a "%" at the and of the link and says "page not found" because of it.
This happens only when a load my pdf file on my server, because if i click on the link when the file is on my iPad, the page opens without problem.
Any help please?
thanxthe % sign is often used when there's a space in a name. HTML doesn't like spaces so it fills them with % or %20
try, on the end of that link, see if there's a space built into the page or the link when the page was made
On the web address you may be able to 'backspace' at the end and erase that space to get the address, but whomever made the page possibly put a mistake in the link -

How do I scan multiple pages into one pdf document on a HP Envy 4501 Printer
My HP Envy 4501 Printer won't let me scan multiple pages into one pdf document.
I went to "Advanced Settings", clicked on "file" and made sure that the check box next to "Create a separate file for each scanner page" was unchecked.
When I clicked the Save button it showed the page that I scanned and showed 1/1. On the right side it had options for changing the brightness and Contrast, Rotate and Crop and "Back", "Save" and "Done" buttons, but nothing about scanning another page.
Not to mention HP's Customer Support is useless!
I'd appreciate any help I can get with this problem.

I see your diagram. I just scanned something. The screen that I'm looking at right now shows the preview page and the scroll box to the left of that just like in your diagram. The screen does not show the + button nor does it show the red x button under the scroll box as in your diagram. I can't see the plus sign because it is not there.
I tried re-installing the software and drivers as you suggested but that did not have any affect.

I've noticed that on HP's support forum web page there is only 1 solved request for assistance. That doesn't give me much confidence in HP.

If I don't here back from you, I'm returning this HP Envy 4501 Printer to get my money back to use it to buy a printer from one of HP's competitors.

Can I add Action button on each page of my pdf document
I have created many power point slides with an action button on each slide that allows the user to click to display a video clip. I would like to create a pdf document of this and replace each of my action button in ppt with an action button that works in Acrobat.
I noticed that action buttons can be added to forms, but I want to be able to add an Action Button on each of my ppt slides to start playing a video clip (each slide will have a different video).
I would like to do this using any coding method (i.e. Javascript, VBA, C , etc). I think acrobat uses Javascript.
The reason, is that I want to display my power point slides on an IPad and they don't support hyperlink in power point. I believe IPad does suppport the full acrobat capabilities.
Can this be done ??
Any suggestions where to start ??

GNO problem creating the buttons and then playing this back in Acrobat. Works great.
However, unfortunately, none of the PDF viewers for the iPad support playing movies. So playing it there won't work :(.

Is there a way to select every other page in a pdf and convert it to grayscale?
I'm going to ask this question in a few sub-forums, so if you think you've seen it, you might have. Someone suggested it might be done with Javascript. I know nothing about Javascript.
Where I work I use a program that can print to pdf. We use it to produce mailings, usually postcards, that are addressed.
I often end up with a 500 page document that will print on 250 sheets of cover stock, which will get cut into 1,000 postcard, all pre-addressed and sorted by zip code.
Usually, the address side is all black and the front is color. The printers we use can print a black click on the address side and a color click on the other, IF the pdf is set up that way. Otherwise, both sides will be counted as color clicks.
I know I can select pages individually in a pdf and convert them to grayscale and those pages will be counted by the printer as black clicks, which are cheaper than color clicks.
The problem is, I have not figured out how to convert all the odd numbered pages to grayscale at once. As a result, I usually end up printing the color side simplex, then putting the job back in the tray and printing the black side. Of course, that only works if only one side is personalized, sometimes both sides are.
Is there a way to select every other page in a pdf and convert it to grayscale?The Acrobat SDK has sample code that shows how to convert the colors for one page (the first page of a document). This sample can easily be adjusted to process every other page. You can then use an Action that executes this JavaScript to process the document. Do you know how to create an Action? If so, you can use this script (as I said, adapted from the sample in the SDK) to convert all odd pages (1, 3, 5, ...):

It only prints 1 page then my Brother MFC-J4510DW Printer says "Please put another piece of paper in the feed slot"....the problem is the print setting is set to "manual mode" in Windows 7 rather than "general setting". I did try using the printParams feature and it worked, but since I need to be able to print sets of non-consecutive pages, I end up having to bring up the print dialogue multiple times and have the user set watermarks each time.
I decided to just create a new pdf in a temp directory containing the selected pages and open this document in a new window. This works well and allows them to use the print button on the window to print, bringing up the print dialogue just once. However, since I need to open the document in a way that shows the print button, I am using OpenInWindowEx, with AV_DOC_VIEW, and the option PDUseBookmarks or PDUseThumbs, rather than PDUseNone. This displays a toolbar which also includes icons for creating a new pdf, deleting pages, etc. I do not really want to include these icons on the toolbar. Is there a way to remove unwanted icons from the toolbar, or make them invisible?

How can I print an odd page in a pdf with 2 page each pdf page?
I hope tou can help me. We´ve created a pdf from a book.
In each page of the pdf we´ve put two pages of the book.
Our problem is:
if I want to print or search a even page. I´ve just go to the search box and write the number of the page I want to go. And the pdf take me to correct number in the book. I Attached a screenshot (screenshot 1). So I look for the page number 6 and I go to the page 6 in the book (that it´s 4 of 22 in the pdf document)
But if I try to search or print an odd page, the problem is that the pdf doesn´t take me to the correct page in the book it takes me to number in pdf document. I attached an screenshot (screenshot 2) So If I look for the page 9 it tooks me to the page 16 of the book (that is 9 of 22 in the pdf document)
I´d like that if i try to search or print any page number (even or odd) . If I use the white box I´ll be able to finde the correct page

Setting up page printout format for pdf on a Mac OS/X Snow Leopard Mac Pro. Printer is HP 8500A OfficeJet Pro Plus bought after July 14, 2011 serial number- CN141CK7QM
When I print to file as a pdf I am getting the first page correctly but subsequent pages are getting clipped along the top and the right margins.
I don't have this problem with my IBook 4.0
The issue is formatting an html page to a pdf when the print request is asking for a pdf or when the print request is to the printer.

I have specified a default paper size of "USLetter".
This printing issue is a new one that occurred since I started the Firefox updates after Firefox 6.0 series.
I am checking with HP on this issue. Prior to the HP8500A (installed in July 2011) I did have a HP6180 Officejet for several years without encountering such a conflict.
So my second question is; Are there Firefox printing conflicts with the HP 8500A printers?
