Problems after downloading the lastest version of iTunes for my iPod Touch. Now whenever I switch on my laptop and access the internet I get an error message. 2nd time this has happened and I'm fed up trying to fix it. Anybody having similar problems?
I've downloaded iTunes 10.5 onto my iPod Touch, no problems but I've now got a constant error message on my laptop everytime I switch it on and access the internet. The message is "The procedure entry point xmlTextReaderConstName could not be located in the dynamic link library libxml2.dll"
This is the 2nd time this has happened. Last time iTunes Support called and we ran through a load of checks to no avail. The only option was to delete iTunes completely off my laptop and go for a new download of it. Can anybody tell me how to do it - didn't write it down last time, silly me, never thought it would happen again. Also sent an email to iTunes Support - waiting for a response.

the most recent update resulted in a loss of ALL of my bookmarks. This is not the first time this has happened and it is very disruptive. I tried the steps suggested to find the bookmarks but that failed.

lock button got stuck or broke.. this is the second time this has happened and my phone is refurbish. do i have to pay the replacement cost?
Warranty on a refurbished unit is 90 days or the remainder of the original phone's warranty, whichever is longer. If you're outside this period, you will again pay the replacement fee.

Kernel Panic occured when Macbook was off (2nd time this has happened)
Hey guys today I came home from work and I heard that my MB's fans were running. I turned it off last night completely (not sleep) and didn't turn it on in the morning before work. Also the sleep light was on (when the display was closed) and the computer was a little bit warm and the fans were blowing out warm air. This is the 2nd time this has happened, once with the original memory, and today's panic with the 2 1gb sticks of Patriot RAM I installed a couple days ago.
Any info on how to fix this problem or what I should do is strongly appreciated

Did you try running the Apple Hardware Test to see if the ram is bad? Since yo never had a KP before adding new ram, and the only change was adding said ram. My guess is that its the memory that is the cause.
I cannot vouch for patriot ram, but I suggest in the future you consider Crucial as its a higher quality ram.

2nd time this has happened. Computer making noises too loud for computer.
Okay, seriously I have had enough. While using Garage Band editing music, my computer once again made a too-loud beep/honk noise. This has happened once before. This has happened once before, but everything was okay except for a bit of distortion. WHY does this keep happening?! Heres a bit more information:
- Using Garage Band, didnt press ANY buttons to trigger sounds
- In using wireless internet, password protected
- I only had iMovie and iTunes opened (as well as GB)
- THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THIS ** HAS HAPPENED
- The sound was WAY too loud for the computer. It was like Max times 50
- I've only owned my Mac for about a year.
- I do not want to get a new bloody Mac, I just downgraded from SL.
I'm not really happy atm, so dont give me stupid answers.

Problem after download of new version of iTunes
I just downloaded the newest version of iTunes and all went well until I synced my iPod... It told me to disconnect and now it is showing me a picture of a plug going into a wall outlet. I have never had a cable to plug into the wall, only a USB cable for the computer. The iPod will not do anything but display this picture now...
When updating or restoring some iPods via a usb connection, it needs to be plugged into power via the charger to complete the process, and this is why you see this icon displayed.
It's also why older iPods that required this step were supplied with a power adaptor as standard.
You may be able to complete the process via a car charger, or via a powered firewire port on the computer (with the required 6 pin cable of course) if you have access to either of those. Or maybe visit an Apple store if one is nearby.
Or you can try this.
No power adaptor? Try this.
Other than that, your iPod cannot be used until you complete this process. -
So ever since I downloaded the new version of iTunes, I have no idea how to add music to my iPod. On the last version, their was a box next to the iTunes Store box that said "_______'s iPod". Because I just used to drag my music to the box and add it through there, I have no idea where I would "drag" my music file now to add it. Simply, I just need to know how to add music to my iPod again in the most recent version of iTunes on my computer (11.1.5).
Cntrl + S will enable the side bar.
Then you can manually manage media on your iDevice as you always have.
Alternatively, control the content on the device by syncing the playlists and other media that you desire to the device. -

I have a window desktop and have had itunes for ever. The latest update failed and I am getting a strange error message. "Apple mobile Device failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privledges to start system service."
I have iphones and I am wondering if a sync of iphone and I tunes has somehow screwed up everything.
The update will not load. I have even tried uninstalling itunes and reinstalling.

My app store won't let me download none of the older versions of apps for my ipod touch 2g.

She was able to download kik, twitter, instagram, and some more apps that told me I had to have ios 4.3.1 or higher to download. and theres only one app I want and its kik, can someone help me figure out whats wrong with my app store, it would be a great help.
Starting when iOS 7 was released, Apple now allows downloading the last compatible version of some apps (iOS 4.2.1 and later only)

My Curve STOPPED Receiving EMAIL - 2nd time this has happened... HELP
I've only had my BB for one month and already twice it has been unable to get messages from my email accounts. The hourglass keeps appearing on the screen...so frustrating! I tried turning it off, taking the battery out and clearing the cache. The last time I backed it up on my desktop, wiped the device and reloaded it. I would rather not do that every week... Is there something else I can do to get the emails coming through again?

Get in the Habit of checking your memory two or three times a day for a couple of days.
Low memory could be causing this condition. That way we can see beforehand if
we are headed or a memory low condition. Your model should never drop below 15mb
you have relatively 36mb free now.
When or if it happens again go to connections service status and make sure your connections
are available, then go right down the screen and go to mobile network options hit the menu key and
select diagnostic test, it will generate a log that you can read and email later for your carrier.
I would then immediately go to options/advanced options/ and go to Host Routing Tables, click to
enter, menu key, select register now. This will register your phone on the network, get the latest
carrier updates, as sell as service books. This will address the email stoppage by refreshing the
processes. You will get a verification email when they have been sent.
Finally, I do not know your experience level, so if you know this I'm sorry but please read and let me
know if this applies.
Most people close the applications by pressing the escape or red key. This does not close the applications.
Each application has a CLOSE option. For instance if you are in the calendar hit the menu key (spotted key) and scroll down to the bottom CLOSE is listed. Go through each application and press close. Go into the browser press menu and options select cache operations clear all categories and hit escape it will say cleaning memory.
Go to options - security - memory cleaning - enable it. The BB will now clean memory when idle for 5 minutes.
you will have an icon on you screen for memory cleaning make sure you press it. Make sure you use the CLOSE button each time you are done with an application.

Lets leave the thread open and check in if the memory gets low or the condition happens again.
Try to make note of exactly what was happening with the phone at the time. Taking a call,
sending/receiving texts emails browsing the net. I know it's a lot, but random problems are the
hardest to pinpoint.

Depending on your carrier, with AT&T there shouldn't be a problem.
If you with Verizon, you will need to be on Wifi, to do that. -
I just donloaded the lastest version of iTunes but when it opens it says a componet was not installed repair or reinstall it. I did and the same thing happens. Any ideas?
