Problems enhancing

Hello, I've just started evaluating Kodo and JDO in general this week.
After several successful days of playing, a new problem has cropped up, and
I'm not quite sure why....
I've been using the eclipse plugin, and I started getting build problems
during the enhancement process. The dialog box gives me the following
error:
"The Enhancer failed. The message includes was:
javax.jdo.JDOFatalInternalException:
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException:java.lang.NullPointerException
NestedThrowables:
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException:java.lang.NullPointerException"
I tried to get more a specific message by running the enhancer from the
command line, but when I run either jdoc or java

your jar files recently?I haven't been compiling my program into a jar. And I have not touched any
other jars that I am aware of. But I did notice that shortly before I
started recieving the message, Eclipse crashed on me. Could that have
corrupted the jars, somehow? And if so, why would it seem that building
through eclipse would bypass the InvalidJarIndexException and give me a
different error?
Finally, can you send us the complete stack trace for the
command-line-generated exception? It looks like that's only a partial
stack.What I provided was the entire stack trace that was printed to screen.

Hi, i am enhancing 2LIS_03_BX and 2LIS_03_BF
as i added to the cube 0MAT_PLANT.
In order to get the value i update the UPDR (3.x)
with formula: RIGHT( 11, 0Material )
which is correct.
So far is fine.
The UPDR get activated.
And if i load the cube gets fine.
But i face an issue when transporting it to QAS as, despite the Transport going fine and the UPDR being fine, when i load data using BX or BF it does not add records.
I already set up all necessary stuff in RC, MCNB, LBW, OLI1Bw...
I tested it with and without such little enhancement and without enhancement works perfect.
With enhancement described here does not add records.
Did any face a similar situation ?

Though here is the case:
alright.
is all a bit weird.
The scenario is as follows. having a cube copy
from 0IC_C03 fed from 2LIS_03_Bx and 2LIS_03_BF.
I enhanced the cube with 0DISMM and 0MAT_PLANT
on UPDR from 2LIS_03_BX I included
0DISMM is updated with a small rotine
0MAT_PLANt updated with brief formula
I saved + activated.
Was working on DEV.
But once transported to QAS all was fine (activated and so on).
All preliminary steps were done on ECC side (tnx BF11,... LBWG, then mCNB,load...)
But when loading data was transfering records but not adding them
I went through all the custo on R3 side.
Loaded and delted several times from cube and loaded again.
I finally tried to undo the changes in DEV thus leaving the flow to its original status.
Then loading again -in DEV.
All went fine but in DEV even with the changes all was fine.
I decided to move the flow that put it to its original status to QAS.
Loaded BX => went fine
added records to cube.
So basically i removed the changes (a formula plus a little routine)
Transported to QAS.
Then added the changes again.
Transported including changes to QAS.
All is working fine now.
Just lost few days going through the entire pieces Stocks is entailed of.
Hope this weird solution comes to someone´s mind if in a similar scenario as a last resort.

Problem enhancing 0CUSTOMER_ATTR extractor

Hi gurus!
I´ve tried to enhance the standard datasource 0CUSTOMER_ATTR , appending some custom fields to the extraction structure.
I followed the following procedure:
1. Go to RSA6.
2. Select the Data Source.
3. Select display Data Source (Ctr+F2).
4. Double click on the Extract structure.
5. Click on the Append Structure.
6. Add the required field .
7. Activate the Append Structure.
8. Go to CMOD.Give the Project, select Display.
9. Click on ZXRSAU01.
10.you have the bellow exits:
a).Transaction data: EXIT_SAPLRSAP_001
b).Master data attributes: EXIT_SAPLRSAP_002
c).Master data texts: EXIT_SAPLRSAP_003
d).Master data hierarchies: EXIT_SAPLRSAP_004
11. select Master data attributes: EXIT_SAPLRSAP_002,then you have to write the ABAP CODE
12. save and activate.
13. check the data in RSA3.
When i returned to the RSA6 transaction to unhide the fields they are not there!
I tried to test with the RSA3 and the enhanced field is being populated. Then i tried to replicate the Data source in the BW system, but the new field is not transferred to BW.
I also check with RSA2 and in the fields TABS, my custom included fields appear with the 'A' .
Please can someone help me with this bug??

Arminder Singh: I´ve followed that procedure. It´s not the first time i enhance a standard datasource and i´ve never had this problem.
Pankaj@bcone: When i try to generate the datasource an information message appear saying that there is a standard field with a DEC definition and that could lead to a short dump if the length of the field grows too much. This information message is blocking the datasource generation?
debajyoti08: I don´t even have the fields available to unmark the "Hide" option...
Is there some kind of a problem with the field "UMSAT" in this standard datasource??

Acrobat 9 Pro form distribution problem (Enhanced Security?)

I am trying to distribute an Acrobat Pro form to several individuals who happen to be listed in my Outlook 2003 Address Book. When I type an email address into the "To" section of the form distribution pane, Acrobat automatically converts the email address to the recipient's name, which I can only assume is being accessed throughthe Outlook Address Book. Is there any way to isolate Acrobat Pro from my address book? Would changing the Acrobat preferences for "Security (Enhanced)" and un-checking "Automatically trust sites from my Win OS security zones" keep Acrobat from accessing my Outlook address book?

Is it tunred off for the Reader installation or in your Acrobat installation. It doesn't matter what your Acrobat settings are when it's used by someone else with Reader.
Recent versions of Acrobat/Reader do not cache form data in the way mentioned by GKaiseril. This used to happen when a form was viewed in a browser.

Problems enhancing an enterprise Service.

Hi guys, i´m trying to enhance a node of an enterprise service (PurchaseOrderByIDqueryResponse), i need to enhace the output message type PurchaseOrderByIDResponseMessage_sync.
I made all the stuff in ESR, activate it, created the proxy in Ecc. everything is ok, no erros.
browsing in the structure of the ES i can see my enhace node. but when i try to test by wsnavigator, i open the upper node and my node is grey with a check, without showing me the structure that i made.
I don´t know how to solve this issue, is there anyone who can help me with this?

Problem enhancing with Kodo

I have been using kodo 4.1.2 as my backend for a long time now without touching it.
I did some work on my maven repository recently, and I am no longer able to use the cached version of openjpa due to this problem:

When I check out the openjpa site, this version is not there.
If I try any more recent version, including 0.9.6-incubating, I get this error during my build:
java.lang.NoSuchFieldError: brokerPlugin
This happens when I run the kodo.ant.PCEnhancerTask.
Note that openjpa 0.9.5 is no longer available.
Can anybody suggest how I can fix the brokerPlugin problem?

Enhancement ICCMP_CMGDETAIL/CmgFollowUp class: CL_ICCMP_CM_CMGFOLLOWUP_IMPL

I have a small problem enhancing the component: ICCMP_CMGDETAIL/CmgFollowUp
When I enhance it, it gives the error: Class activition failes.
After that if I go to the created subclass(created for the _IMPL-class) and try to activate it, it gives the following error:
CLASS: CL_ICCMP_CM_CMGFOLLOWUP_IMPL, Private Section
The type "LTYPE_RESP_TAB" is unknown.
I tried note: 1161467, but this doesn't do a thing.
I also added the type and declaration of this type to the sub-class but it keep on giving this problem. When I check the super-class he won't give any syntax errors, it only triggers on the subclasses.
All input is helpful.

Frustrating that I can clean up noise better in PE5 with a plugin than in LR..

I like to avoid flash with faces as much as I can so I tend to use high ISO fairly often with fast lenses.
One particular raw file I was having trouble with in PE5 so I added Neat Image as a plug in several months ago and to my amazement the image began to look like a 100 ISO image.
Last night I decided to see if I could replicate it in LightRoom. I worked on it for hours and could not do so using the same monitor and printer I used to create it in PE5 plus NI.
I even tried editing the image through LR to PE5 as a .tif and back again using NI while in PE5. Awful!
LR is 16 bit minimum and PE5 only works with 8 bit....is this the problem in all probability with this situation, and would CS3+LR give me a one stop solution once and for all? I don't do anything with pictures other than take them, "develop them", store them, and occasionally print one for a family member. Most of the CS products I'd never use and I've avoided putting out that much cash for items I'd rarely or never use, but the noise remover in LR is glaringly weak it appears.
As bizarre as this seems I'm finding that in some cases I'd be better off to develop in PE5 with some plug-ins and catalog with LR. I can't believe I'm typing that, but several files seem to dictate that to me.
Any comments would be appreciated, especially if it comes from developers who hint that noise problem enhancements are on the way.

Yeah, well, that's a bit of a problem, don't ya know. Lightroom is a "parametric image editor", meaning it doesn't edit "pixels" only parameters that WILL be applied upon export or printing. So, Photoshop "plug-in filters" simply can't be incorporated-not in the manner people seem to understand plug-ins. There aren't any "pixels" in Lightroom to operate on-just parameters...
This is an entirely new approach to image editing-well, kinda...there was an old application called Live Picture that worked in a slightly similar manner and while LP eventually got "plug-ins" to work, it required rendering, plug-in application and re-editing back in LP. Which kinda defeated the purpose.
When Lightroom gets an SDK (coming eventually) there will be an ability for third parties to write "modules" to do things in Lightroom. But that's gonna take some time. In the meantime, if ya just gotta use a 3rd party plug-in, then there's really no option besides the pixel edit in Photoshop (or Elements).

Open / Save files window

Hi, I have been using Raptor/Sqldeveloper since first public release, and really like it.
Apart from the normal few glitches which can be expected, its great finally to have a proper gui tool to use in Linux.
I have one problem/enhancement request though. Every time I open or save a file, the file dialog box starts in ~/.sqldeveloper.
If I open a file from for example : /code/test/ and then later want to open another file the dialog box goes back to ~/.sqldeveloper. It would be nice if it would reopen the last used directory.

Event on close Browser to unlock Data

I have an OVP Floorplan and the problem is, that by closing the Browser, all Data Locks remain in SM12.
Is there an Event or Method called before closing the browser or how can I Unlock the Data?
I've red, that the Method WDDOINIT of the Application Component Controller is called, but how can I access this Method.
I have Feeder-Klasses for the UIBBs and an Assistance Class for the Application Component Contoller, but there is no Method WDDOINIT in this Assistance Class!

I solved the browser close problem enhancing the class CL_FPM, to release locks/resources (since the exit event is not propagated from WD to FPM). To do this our own methods have to be called somehow before framework is releasing resources in method DELETE of class CL_FPM.
The steps required to reach this:
Create an enhancement of class CL_FPM
Add a new member table attribute f.e. mt_zzcallbacks table to class CL_FPM
Add a new public instance method f.e. zzregister_callback to class CL_FPM, to put any class instance and method to the table above, from your own classes.(Methods added should not contain any obligatory parameter and has to be of type instance public also)
Create a pre-exit of method delete of class CL_FPM and loop over the callback table calling the methods dynamically (catch the following exceptions: ABAP Keyword Documentation).
Put your code to release the locks/resources into the registered callback methods (it will be called exiting the application )
This works when user closes the browser/tab improperly.
Of course you can provide a possibility to close the application using a button, where you can do additional checks etc, data loss notification etc.
So if you use a Close button with event FPM_CLOSE (doing checks etc. ) and releasing your locks also handling the event FPM_CLOSE, then you can create a new method in class CL_FPM to deregister the method from the callback table, since you did free already and not necessary to do it again using the callback.

Hi,
does anyone already use in PM-Reporting Operation and shorttext. There´s no problem using field vornr in datasource 2LIS_17_I3OPER.
But, does anybody know, whow I use operation´s shorttext. Shall I enhance structure MC17I30OPR or did anyone use an own infoobject called operation which has a Text-Datasource ?
Please help. I haven´t found any information about using shorttexts for operations.

I think there´s no problem enhancing any structures, but there are some problems. Every PM order possess for example the operation 0010. As a result shorttext of the operation must be steered PM referred. How can this be converted in one the report ZXRSAU02 or ZXRSAU01? Do you have any examples ?

Boost fast track in logic express, help please?!

hi there,
i'm new to Logic and this forum; I have a problem enhancing volume into logic; I can hear/manipulate my guitar sound through my fast track USB but the peak level in the track seems very low... my imported playback audio sounds good and so are the levels of those tracks whereas my recorded guitars are very low! I'm plugged through the instrument jack and the sound level in the mac preferences is correct, how's that I can record at a proper volume?

This is obvious, but make sure your Input Level Switch is set to the GUITAR position.
Assuming you have it that way, another option is to get a direct box (or at least a line-matching transformer). Plug your guitar into that, come out of it w/ an XLR cable, plug that into the mic input. That will give you the ability to use the Gain control on the Fast Track to boost your level.
If that's not enough, you can insert a Gain plug-in into an Input Track.

Enhance Timing Problem

Anyone notice that when Enhance Timing is applied to an audio track, that track takes a couple of seconds to start playback? I'm sure it has to do with the time it takes for the real-time processing to kick in, but it's a problem when trying to export the song to disk and that track doesn't start right away...

That didn't seem to work. I locked the bass track, but there's still a pause before that track starts when I play the song from the start.

- Object ZL_BP_ADDR_STANDARDADDRES_CTXT
3) I doubleclick on the enhanced View "BP_ADDR/StandardAddress"
    (-> In the "View Layout" node the StandardAddress.html is still using the Super Classes / Implementation Class CL_BP_ADDR_STANDARDADDRES_CN01 )
4) If I go to Implemetation Class CL_BP_ADDR_STANDARDADDRESS_CN01
5) Select method "GET_P_E_MAILSMT" (and look into the coding)
   The enhancement Functions there are not working for meu2026
   I tried the Button with the (Sprial / helix)
   and the Menu "Edit"-> "Enhancement Operations"
Where is my error?! (I think I have to create a ZClass for the CL_BP_ADDR_STANDARDADDRES_CN01?!?!? But how to???)

hi,
Some times I also faced problems to create Zclass for standard ones. But you can do one trick to create Zclass.
Try to create one dummy attribute in your context node, then it will creates automatically Zclass for that node. Later you can delete that attribute.
If you get any problems to create P-getter method, then copy the IF_BSP_WD_MODEL_SETTER_GETTER~_GET_P_XYZ template method and rename to GET_P_E_MAILSMT.

I have Sun Fire 480 with solaris 5.9 installed on it. I use XManager 1.3.9 on windows 2000 workstation to connect to it and launch Solaris Management Console (smc). After starting smc I point to Management Tools -> This Computer (sf480dbs) -> Storage -> Enhanced Storage. At that moment Log In dialog appears and I give root user name and password. Try search the WEB for your display adapter drivers. However, most of new especially intergated graphics are still not supported.
You may try to get it working with xsun, run kdmconfig and specify as display adapter VGA or Super VGA. I know that in some cases it helps.
As well do the same with Xorg and run /usr/X11/bin/xorgcfg, try to find somekind of generic VGA in drivers that are listed there.
As I know, smc runs only in graphical mode.
I saved the settings and pressed F2 for testing. I could see the displayDid you see buttons on that display (something like "yes", "no")?
xsun is very hard to set with most of display adapters and monitors, sometimes it shows only part of the screen, so you might not to see these buttons. However if you see them, press "yes" (or something like that, I dont exactly remember). Then reboot and your computer should start the GUI.
