Problems facing while installing portuguese in java srm 7.0 unicode
Hello ,
I am trying ot install portuguese in srm 7.0 unicode system. I have updated the config tool parameters as below.
Set ume.logon.locale to true
Set ume.admin.wd.locales = pt ( for portuguese)
But even aftyer the restart I am not able to see the drop down of portuguese in my java page. Is there any other settings.
Now I can see the drop down showing in the logon screen of the Java page index.htm but when I choose portuguese or any other language and log in the contents are still shown in English langauage. They are not translated to portuguese . DO I need to do some other settings.

long. Therefore choose a mode of creation of base - copy from CD.
Then the base can be increased.

Problem faced while installing adobe reader X.
While trying to install adobe reader X, the installation is interuppted after about 85% installation is complete and a message pops up " The instruction at "0X00000047" referenced memory at "0X00000047". The memory could not be read. Click on OK to terminate the program. Click on cancel to debug the program.
Please help me solve this problem so that i can install adobe reader successfully on my computer.

Problem facing while installing Solman7.0

We are installing Solamn with Oracle 10g+Solaris 5.10..
We have installed Solman & installed database too. but on running SAPInst PostDB installation, we are getting following errors :
An error occured while processing service SAP solution manager 4.0
Support Release 4> SAP Systems> Oracle> Central System>central systems(Last Error reported by the step : Error return code. Diagnosis return code 1 of executable
/Oracle/SMT/102_64/binlsnrctl indicates an error.

We also tried to start the listener manually by lsnrctl start & listener status..It's giving following error :

AnjuDid you install Oracle first before you started sapinst? Did you execute RUNINSTALLER in the SAP subdirectory of the RDBMS DVD or the standard runInstaller?

Error while Installing NW701 EHP1 JAVA Only on AIX/DB2 UDB
Hi All,
While Installing NW701 EHP1 JAVA only on AIX/DB2 UDB platform I am getting below erron in Update Database Registry Step.
Previously system was installed with DB29.1 patch level 7 whiach was wrong. Then I have uninstalled SAP and cleaned all the mounted directories related to SID. After that I stsrted again and getting below error.
The step UpdateDB2Registry with step key |NW_Onehost|ind|ind|ind|ind|0|0|NW_Onehost_System|ind|ind|ind|ind|2|0|NW_CreateDBandLoad|ind|ind|ind|ind|10|0|NW_CreateDB|ind|ind|ind|ind|0|0|NW_DB6_DB|ind|ind|ind|ind|1|0|NW_DB6_UpdateDb2Registry|ind|ind|ind|ind|13|0|UpdateDB2Registry was executed with status ERROR .

Check file system characteristics, it should be created with read and write only. Please make sure that file system should not be created with cio option.

Hi I have this error while working with iMS5.x and iAS6.5. As long as iMS is the only product installed, nothing is the problem. If I try installing iMS after iAS installed, it points an error. I dont know whats the reason. The following is the message that I got:

The "installation guide" says that if you are doing so, you need to create a file named libx11.so.4 and update your LD_LIBRARY_PATH (see http://docs.iplanet.com/docs/manuals/messaging/ims52/ig/unix/overview.htm)but:
1- the library name is libX11.so.4 and
2- for jre a common file is not enough, you need to install SUNWxwplt at least. This will install the library on /usr/openwin/lib.
You can check the results running <server-root>/bin/base/jre/bin/jre

Problems while installing BW UDI Java Components
To all,
A fellow co-worker of mine was trying to installing the "BW UDI Java Components" in 640 BW 3.5, and the installation crashed and now Java will not restart. I'm coming into this at this point as development wants java working again. We had upgraded the kernel to patch level 17 after the initial install but prior to the UDI installation. I've restarted the system, no luck - java will not restart.
Any suggestions?
Can I re-apply Java kernel patch 17?
Anybody install the UDI Java components? If so, could you give us some advice?

Problems encountered while installing designer 6i - RAU
Hi all,
While installing designer 6i on Windows XP with Oracle 9i DB, i am having a problem.
When the RAU views are created, one of the sql file has a view with a column as "CONSTRAINTS" and since its a reserved word, RAU exits showing application error.
Pls help me solve this.I have the exact same problem. The repository install is trying to create a view that has a column named "CONSTRAINTS"...when the install reaches that point, it errors out saying that it cannot find the expected constraint definition. I have no idea how to fix this. I was thinking I would edit the script to change the column name, but anticipate this would cause further problems.

Oracle 10g supports redhat 4 and Enterprise Linux is redhat 5 so I changed the redhat-release to 4 to countinue setup but the above error appears, also I tried this configuration on SuSE 10 I changed the SuSE-release to 9 and went good.The packeges are already installedIf you execute runInstaller again is the error message the same as before?

We are developing a windows program solution in which we programmatically access the Excel functionality and control the behaviour of the *.xlsx files.
We are using
Visual Studio 2012 Professsional,
Language C#
Namespace Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel.
Functions being used are standard functions like
ExcelApp.Workbooks.Open(…….)
WorkBook.Save(..)
WorkBook.Close(..) etc.
To control behaviour of .xlsx files, We are also using events like
BeforeClose
BeforeSave
BeforePrint etc
On few systems (operating systems Windows 7 and above with Microsoft Office 2010 and above) we are facing problems. It gives exception with exception message as “HRESULT: 0x800AC472”. This exception is raised randomly (i.e. if it is raised while
using WorkBook.Save(..) but few seconds before this , same file is successfully saved at same machine and same path. OR if it is raised while using ExcelApp.Workbooks.Open(…….), the same was successful just before few miliseconds.)
We know one instance where it is expected to happen. If we are working on a machine where the office installed is a trial version (i.e. the Product Key id is not entered during installation), the above problem is known to happen. But it disappears immediately
after we feed the Product key. The Program behaves perfectly.
But on few machines where the windows is properly installed and the Office is also properly installed, the above mentioned problem is faced and we are not able to locate why the problem occurs.

I've had the same problem installing 9i server on W2K.
Remove references to JDK from environment variables (it might be enough just remove from CLASSPATH).
It should fix the problem. -
Rep-0756 problem facing while opening the report in 10g
Hi,
I am facing problem while opening RDF in oracle 10g.
I follow the next steps.
1. Open the RDF in 10g.
2. Open the PLL in report builder and compile that PLL and save in same path where report located.
3. reattach the library with RDF.
4. Close the RDF
5. Reopen the RDF and facing the error.
6. REP-0756- unable to open attached............
7. I set the report_path in Registry also where PLL exists
Please give me the solution for this problem

I am also facing the similar issue in reports 10g, I am keeping the .pll file in my local machine say c:\me\reports\xyz.pll. When I am opening this pll, I am getting the error REP-0756 though the path 'c:\me\reports\' is added to the REPORTS_PATH. Your suggestion resolved the issue.

When I am connecting to GPRS or while doing switch on of my nokia 3110 it screen goes blank and it automatically switch off and switch on.

I was facing this problem all of a sudden when i use Sigle sign-on method to connect to SAP.
It throws me from my connection process when i reach the code to connect to the company database.
So i uninstalled all SAP components and reinstalled them again (based on one of the earlier post )... this has sorted my issue.

It says weblogic.management.DeploymentException: The persistent store "limJMSPersistentStore" does not exist. but it is configured in the domain when i see in console. After that all the resources to jms system module also throws the below exception

reason is weblogic.messaging.kernel.KernelException: The Messaging Kernel limJMSServer has not yet been opened. I also have another problem with resource bundle properties file. weblogic server could not find the properties file. it throws MissingresourceException for all the properties file. i have placed the properties file inside DOMAIN_HOME/app_classes folderHi all,
The deployment failure of the "limJMSPersistenceStore" - jdbc store was the root cause. I use "limjms" prefix for this persistence store.It was not able to persist because of the data present in the "limJMSWLStore" table in the db schema. when i deleted all the rows and committed. then, restarted the server. Everything worked just fine :). Thanks!

Placement of cursor - when ADD button, place cursor on first item in row
I have several collections on a page. The third collection CATCH_C is usually empty. The user can tab to ADD button. Currently, the cursor is then placed at the first item on the page. I would like it to be place in the first item in that collection.
