Problems in Bussiness inbox

Dears :
in my workflow there is a user decision, and in the decesion i have some decision options such as a activity wich is a task to display something with Work item text DISPLAY_ST
Sometimes, when the agent receive workitem in inbox, then execute the user decision and choose the activity. It will call the task and display something.
At the same time when i refresh the inbox, i will receive another mail entitle 'DISPLAY_ST' .  (the name of Work item text ).
   it occurs sometimes. any advice?
BTW, the agent for user decision is two user id. And the agent for the task is general task.

Hi,
Firstly, please please make sure you understand the difference between "mail" and "workitem", they are very different: A mail is something you send out which people can read and delete; and a workitem is something you can execute and will remain in your inbox until it is complete or forwarded. An inbox for mail can be outlook/notes, an inbox for  workitems would be SBWP or the UWL.
I assume the "mail" you refer to is actually a workitem. Check that you do not have anyu substitution active. In SBWP goto Settings -> Workflow Settings -> Adopt Substitutions, which will list all the users for whom you can be a sub.
Hope that helps,
Mike

  • Problem with Hotmail inbox only

    Hello,
Everything was working just perfectly fine with my hotmail on iPhone 4S iOS 5.1.1 when suddenly it decided it wont download any messages older than a certain date & this applies only to inbox, where i've only 126 messages while for example the sent folder contains around a 1000 message.
I can't find my old emails anymore & it wont download no matter what, I tried to remove the account & re add it again twice but with no luck.
    My settings are as follows:
Mail days to sync: No limit
    Mail folders to puh: inbox
    Show: 1000 recent messages.
Any help would be appreciated guys

    Hi
I've had the same problem and have found a workaround which runs against the latest version of Belle OS:
    (1) Make sure you have no Exchange mailbox set-up on your N8 (delete it if needed) and delete any existing hotmail mailbox too
    (2) Choose add Exchange mailbox and add your hotmail details, putting your hotmail e-mail address as the e-mail address, your hotmail e-mail password as password and your hotmail e-mail address (in full e.g. [email protected]) as the username.  Leave domain empty
    (3) Give it time to sycn or do manually if you choose.  Your hotmail folders should now be displayed in the N8 when you go in to that mailbox (look under 'folders' after selecting 'inbox' from the top left of the screen when in the inbox view) and you can then access e-mails stored in those folders.  You may want to play around with the settings to get as many as possible accessible via your N8.
You can also hold down on an e-mail (as you might to delete it) and you will have an option to 'add to folder'
You should still be able to add a 'proper' Exchange mailbox (there is a limit of 1 on the client and a total of 2 mailboxes in total).
Note that there is a limit to the number of folders that will be displayed (it seems to be a good few dozen though).  Note also that if you have nesting of folders in hotmail that the nesting is not shown (no indents) on the N8 which can make navigating folders tricky if you do use nesting - I got around this by renaming my folders in hotmail i.e. the parent as 'parent name', the child as 'parent name - child name' so I know which child is which!
    Good luck

  • Problem with my Inbox after restoring the backup

    Hi,
I've bought N73 a few days ago and tried to restore my backup from the old 7610 (Messages and Contacts) with PCSuite 6.84....
Everything was all right except the Inbox...
All of the messages have the sender's number instead of their name!!
This problem is only in my inbox, in the sent section i have the messages with contacts name.
I tried to sync my phone with PCSuite, wondering, there was the sender's name..!!
Still in my inbox there is no sender's name for the old messages, but new ones come with their name.
What can i do to adjust it, having the names instead of the numbers, for my restored messages?
    Thanks a lot!

    Any idea!?

  • Problem with the Inbox search of IC Web Client

    Hi Friends,
Iam working on the Inbox search of the IC Web client.
For the Inbox search, in the view AuiItems.htm, I have added two fields Main Reference Object and Account.
But when I click on search, in the result list all the values except these two which I added. In the result list Iam getting the values as NULL for these two newly added fields. What could be the reason for this and how to solve this??
    Regards,
    Raju

    Hello Narayana,
You can link user statuses to inbox status under customizing
Interaction Center WebClient --> Agent Inbox --> Inbox Search Definitions --> Define Inbox Status.
Here you can delete system status and add user statuses.
After adding user status ,you need to map inbox status to element status in Customizing for Customer Relationship Management by choosing Interaction Center WebClient --> Agent Inbox --> Map Element Attributes to Inbox Attributes --> Map Element Status to Inbox Status.
Read documentation on Map Element Status to Inbox Status customizing entry.
You dont have make changes to the code for this customization.
    Thanks,
    Thirumala.

  • ARQ: GRC work items refresh problem in Work Inbox???

    Hi All,
While accessing any GRC work items from Work Inbox in NWBC, I have to click on "Refresh" button manually to reflect the latest work items!
I tried to look for any ABAP program which does this but could not succeed.
May I know what is the program used to update these GRC work items for all users? OR How do I make it automatic to reflect the latest work items quickly?
    Please advise.
    Regards,
    Faisal

    Hi Mangesh,
    Thanks for your reply.
    Below are my settings:
As you can see, no role is assigned
Currently the refresh type is "On Every Page visit" as per note#1635072 (which is default)
Not sure why this is not working for me.

  • Have MacBook Pro - Where do I fix problem with Mail Inbox posting duplicate messages?

Messages appearing in my inbox are coming in duplicates, and when I delete one it deletes both.  Looked in Preferences but can't see anything to fix this.  Thanks for any help

I don't know what the solution is, but I've seen this posted before.  Just search the forums for "email with 1969 date" and you might find a solution.

  • Inbox problem

I seem to have an inbox problem. My inbox became large (1500 messages). I was not using rules. I set up 8 rules and began to apply the rules. That worked for the first 500 messages then I found: 1)messages wouldn't delete, remained gray and then showed up again. 2) rules no longer worked 3) messages could not be manually moved to any folder.
I did the following based on discussion board suggestions:
    rebuilt each folder
    file vault was run
shut down and restarted after the above steps.
I really need to get the inbox issue resolved since I will now be syncing to a newly purchased iphone.
    Your help would be appreciated

There is no reason for the messages to get deleted automatically.
Reinstall the firmware. If the problem persists please contact the authorised Nokia Care Centre in your area.
Please mark the post as solution if it solves your problem.

  • Problem with mp3 illustration in the finder since 10.6.8 update !

    Hi !
since the last update to mac os X 10.6.8 my mp3 illustartions are not present anymore in the finder.... but i can see them in itunes! can anyone help me? it seems to be a bug cause some people with mac os X lion meet the same problem....
    Thanks

    BDAqua,
Nope. It's very erratic. For example, just now I cycled several times between the inbox and the smart mailbox and even closed and re-opened. The inbox showed messages. Then I quit mail and re-opened, the inbox was empty. It took a couple more cycles of quit and re-open to get an inbox display. But as soon as I got it back on, and then closed or changed mailboxes, it disappeared when I went back to the inbox.
Hellofa way to run a railroad.
And just for reference, when I first had this issue last week under 10.6.8, I read several posts on this forum wherein other users had problems with the inbox display. Other than the smart mailbox "fix", I never did find a definitive solution or explanation as to why it is occuring.

  • Mail in inbox has disappeared

I use Apple Mail with Panther 10.3.9. Mail was open and the machine got hung up (spinning beach ball) I could not force quit anything, it was completely unresponsive, so I shut down and restarted. When I re-launched Mail, the contents of my main POP account were gone. No other folders were affected. I tried to restore it by deleting all contents of the inbox.mbox file except the mbox file (7.9 MB) and then putting the inbox.mbox in the home/library/mail/POP account folder and restarting mail, but it did not work. All I got was a new, empty folder/mailbox named INBOX which is empty. I opened the mbox file in text edit, and it was all of my messages, so they are there, I just need to get them back into mail message format. I have over 20G of free space on the drive. Anybody have any other suggestions to restore my messages? Thanks in advance!

Not sure what the situation is now, but here’s what I would have suggested to solve the original problem.
Verify/repair the startup disk (not just permissions), as described here:
The Repair functions of Disk Utility: what's it all about?
After having fixed all the filesystem issues, if any, and making sure that there’s enough space available on the startup disk (a few GB, plus the space needed to make a copy of Inbox), try this:
    1. Quit Mail if it’s running.
    2. In the Finder, go to ~/Library/Mail/POP-username@mailserver/.
    3. Locate INBOX.mbox and move it to the Desktop.
    4. Open Mail. A new empty INBOX.mbox will automatically be created within the account folder, and this will allow you to continue using Mail normally while trying to solve the problem.
Although INBOX.mbox appears to be a file, it’s actually a special kind of folder (a package) that contains several files. Ctrl-click on INBOX.mbox and choose Show Package Contents from the contextual menu to see the files it contains. Of these files, mbox is the most important and is where all your messages are stored. What’s the size of that file? Depending on its size, you may or may not be able to directly import it back into Mail in the next step.
An Incoming_Mail file may also be present, in which case it might contain messages that Mail couldn’t transfer to mbox. Incoming_Mail is also a standard mbox file like mbox proper, just named differently, and can be imported back into Mail in the same way.
    5. In Mail, do File > Import Mailboxes and follow the instructions to import the INBOX.mbox that’s on the Desktop. I’m not sure what the import options available in Mail 1.x are, but you should choose Other / Standard mbox or something like that, so that Mail looks at the mbox file only (and Incoming_Mail, if present) and ignores the other files in the package.
If Mail doesn’t let you select INBOX.mbox in step 5 because it’s a package instead of a plain folder, rename INBOX.mbox to just INBOX (i.e. remove the .mbox suffix) so that it becomes a normal folder, and try again. You cannot do this directly in the Finder because removing a suffix by normal means causes the Finder to hide the suffix instead of renaming the file. To remove the suffix from the name, you must do File > Get Info (⌘I) on the file and change the name there.
If all is well and you don’t miss anything, the files on the Desktop can be deleted, although you may want to keep them for a while, just in case.
Note: For those not familiarized with the ~/ notation, it refers to the user’s home folder (i.e. /Users/username). Hence, ~/Library is the Library folder within the user’s home folder (i.e. /Users/username/Library).

  • How can I scroll thru mail inbox using my touch pad with Yosemite, I  was able to use my touch pad to scroll mail before

I can not use my touch pad to roll down my mail box or within a individual mail item. I was able before yosemite?
My touch pad works for all other apps,

I think I am having the same problem.  I am using a macbook pro 15 and this morning it received an OSX update, it is now on 10.10.2.  I use Office365 email for work and suddenly I can't use 2-finger scrolling over my inbox list.  I can scroll through the email body and there is no problem with gmail inbox.
this is a real pain, when i attempt to scroll it attempts to scroll the whole web page, it doesn't seem to recognise that my mouse pointer is over the list of emails of my inbox.
i hope apple know about this and can fix it.

  • Unable to Open Inbox in SBWP - runtime error

    Hi Gurus,
I have a problem with my inbox - I'm experiencing runtime error (time_out) when opening it. It says 'Time limit exceeded', and 'The program 'SAPFSSO0' has exceeded the maximum permitted runtime without interruption and has therefore been terminated.
Can anyone of the Workflow experts tell me what is the probable cause, and what do you sugggest to solve this and prevent from happening again?
    Thanks!
    Regards,
    Joyreen

This may or may not solve your problem but gives you an idea on performance of SBWP.
Check the Note 764707 - Performance in Business Workplace
This note describes the factors that affect the performance in the Business Workplace, and ways in which you can improve the performance:
The performance in the workflow inbox depends on several factors:
    1. Use of organizational objects (O, S ...) for tasks
If agent assignment for tasks is controlled using organizational objects, a structural explosion is necessary. Complex organizational structures can mean that the time required to construct the inbox is greater. This is carried out once a day for each user when the user logs on initially, and the information is then buffered. As a result, the initial construction of the inbox takes the most time.
    2. Number of work items in the system
The time required for selecting work items for a user increases with the number of work items that exist in the system.
    3. Number of work items that are displayed in the workflow inbox or in the subordinate views.
    4. Use of dynamic columns
The dynamic columns are filled on a task-specific basis with content that is determined dynamically during runtime. To do this, it is necessary for the system to read the work item container and then to determine the attributes to be displayed, for example, of an business object.
Displaying the dynamic columns greatly affects performance, since the system accesses both the work item container and application tables.
    5. Grouping according to contents, content type and sort key
Each work item carries the two container elements WIObject_ID (dominant object) and WIGroup_ID (Grouping characteristic) to its container. Both elements are defined so that an object reference can be included.
Grouping according to content and content type is based on the container element WIObject_ID, and grouping according to sort key is based on WIGroup_ID. For each of these grouping types, the system needs to access the container for each work item to read the object reference. In addition, the system must determine the default attribute of the respective object, which involves accessing the application tables.
    6. Showing the columns group object and work item contents
As above, showing the two columns is based on the container elements WIObject_ID and WIGroup_ID. The system determines the values to be shown by reading the work item container and the default attribute of the relevant object.
    Solution
    1. Detail the assignment of tasks in the organizational model.
    2. Archive work items that are no longer needed (see Note 49545).
    3. In the Business Workplace, BAdIs are available for the following purposes:
    a) WF_BWP_SELECT_FILTER
This BAdI enables you to limit the number of the work items displayed by filtering. It is mainly suited to scenarios where all users are working on the same inventory of work items (for example, call center).
    (see Note 765783)
    b) WF_BWP_DYN_COLUMN
Hiding the dynamic columns improves performance in the Business Workplace.
If this is not possible, you can implement the BAdI WF_BWP_DYN_COLUMN to determine the values of the dynamic columns directly from the application data. The BAdI is available with Note 848382.
    c) WF_BWP_OBJ_ATTRIBUTE
With this BAdI, it is possible to set the default attributes of the dominant object (_WI_Object_ID) and the grouping characteristic (_WI_Group_ID). The default attributes are used for grouping according to content, and grouping according to sort key and for hiding the group object column and work item content.
The BAdI is available with Note 848382.
    4. It is also advisable to implement Note 848382 (or one of the corresponding Support Packages) if you do not want to implement either of the BAdIs. The note also contains an optimization that affects the determination of the object references in the container elements WIObject_ID and WIGroup_ID.

  • Can receive mail, but it doesn't show up in inbox?

My inbox has randomly stopped receiving new mail. When I click "Get Mail," the Message Activity Bar does say there are incoming messages, yet once completed, no new mail shows up in my inbox.
I can send emails fine. The problem is the inbox.
(I have a POP account if this makes any difference.)

I had exactly the same problem. Messages were on the server but would not display on my inbox. I have a Cox POP account. I deleted my mail setup from the mail program and reinstalled with no luck.
On an off chance, I added my second e-mail account to MAC mail first. All of my test e-mails showed up. I then deleted out my first e-mail account setup in MAIL program. I then re-added my original POP mail account that would not display my inbox e-mail. All of a sudden, my inbox started retrieving both of my e-mails & displaying them properly in my inbox.
I have no idea why this worked but it did. Prior to this I tried to delete out my original e-mail setup, rebuild my mail boxes... but none of this worked.
    Hope this helps.

  • E75 Emails in inbox disappear

    Hi there
I am a new user and have recently purchased an E75.  I eventually managed to set up 2 email addresses and notifications come through fine.
However........The messages just disappear from the inbox - I've tried to mark them as "unread" but they still disappear...... I've had our IT guy at work look at the settings and he can't see any obvious problems.  The inbox setting is Hide email older than 2 weeks, and is locked so I cannot alter this if I wanted too.
Also if a message has an attachment I try to download it and the message disappears and I have no idea if I have downloaded the attachment as I cannot find out in the instruction booklet where these would be automatically stored (if of course they are)
The message also disappears if I go to "view HTML".
I have also noticed that since setting up my email account on my Nokia I am not receiving any emails via Outlook on my PC.
Please can anybody help as the whole idea of sending emails to my mobile was so that I could read them before I got home from work - and look at the info in them as and when it was convenient, not loose all the details before I had a chance to deal with things.
    Many thanks

Make sure that the very last setting is set however you want. This will affect how long an email is kept on the BB.
You also might try deleting and re-creating the BIS conduit for this email account...it sounds like something is just not right and sometimes this process helps clear it up.
    Hopefully something there will help.
