Problems installing latest XSQL Servlet

After following the instructions for installing XSQL servlet for Apache with Jserv, I get the following error with a simple sql query.

And in the httpd.conf file I have
Alias /xsql/ "/usr/local/src/xdk/xdk/"
Also in the xml config file

I think the problem may be with my jdbc file???

  • How to install oracle xsql servlet on bea weblogic 5.1

              Hi there,
              I tried to install oracles xsql servlet (1.0.4.1) on bea weblogic 5.1 without
              any success.
              in weblogic.properties I started with:
              weblogic.httpd.webApp.xsql=c:\\weblogic\\myserver\\servletclasses\\xsql
              And in this dir I have WEB-INF with the following web.xml:
              <?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>
              <!DOCTYPE web-app
              PUBLIC "-//Sun Microsystems, Inc.//DTD Web Application 2.2//EN"
              "http://java.sun.com/j2ee/dtds/web-app_2.2.dtd">
              <web-app>
              <servlet>
              <servlet-name>oracle-xsql-servlet</servlet-name>
              <servlet-class>oracle.xml.xsql.XSQLServlet</servlet-class>
              </servlet>
              <servlet-mapping>
              <servlet-name>oracle-xsql-servlet</servlet-name>
              <url-pattern> *.xsql </url-pattern>
              </servlet-mapping>
              </web-app>
              So the xsql extension is mapped to the named servlet which is found in a jar file
              contained in subdirectory lib.
              The problem is that the general mapping of *.xsql extension to specified class
              does not work at all. And there are no errors...
              Application server just presents me with the content of the xsql file instead
              of executing servlet whith the xsql file as input.
              Any ideas??
              Thanx in advance.
              JK

    What kind of problem do you have?
    If it's not connected with JDBC, you'd better post your question
    in webservices newsgroup.

  • Problem installing latest version of iTunes

    Hi. Since about version 6 of iTunes I have always had difficulty installing the latest version of the program. Whenever I go to install it i get the message:
    Could not open key: HKEYLOCALMACHINE\Software\Classes\QuickTimePlayerLib.QuickTimePlayerApp\CLSID. Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel.
    Then the installation rolls back. I have just bought an iPod Touch and would very much like to sync it. I read this: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1462
    which mentioned that possibly an earlier version of iTunes was installed using a different account. This is the case but i have deleted that account. I also entered the regedit and tried to change the permission on it but when i enter my own account it says 'Unable to save permission changes on QuickTimePlayerLib.QuickTimePlayerApp. Access is denied.'
    Is there anyway i can change the permission to my own account or get my old account back? I am using Windows XP on a dell computer. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Colm

    There is this rather unhelpful article on your problem:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1462?viewlocale=en_US
    You could try a general repair of registry permissions for Windows XP as in this article, it has fixed quite a few registry permission issues in the past.
    http://blogs.msdn.com/astebner/archive/2006/09/04/739820.aspx
    You need to be a confidant computer user to do it as it is quite an involved process. The script take a long time to run so be patient.
    It is a good idea to have your system backed up when to do this kind of thing.

  • Corrupt file problems installing latest Flash on Windows Vista - help please?!

    When trying to install the latest Flash on my Windows Vista (I'm not great with computers so more than the internet system I use I'm not sure what other details are necessary), I keep getting the message "install_flashplayer11x32_mssd_aih.exe - Corrupt File. File or directory C:\$Secure is corrupt and unreadable. Please run the Chkdsk utility." As I have no idea what the Chkdsk utility is, or how to run it, can someone please tell me how to fix this problem? Apparently I have Flash Player installed on my computer, but not the plug-in necessary to play media files on the internet. What do I need to do to fix this?

    This Microsoft help document should walk you through the steps of using Chkdsk to scan (and repair) your hard drive.

  • Problems Installing Latest Flash Player

    Hellohello!
    My Adobe Flash Player for Mozilla Firefox has been giving me troubles these past months, so today I decided to install a more recent version on my laptop.
    Following the instructions, I deinstalled the old version before initializing the download/installation of the latest Flash Player. That, however, proved to be a mistake, as the installation has failed continously so far and now I have no player to my avail at all.
    I have tried installation several times, but the process didn't even start and just left me the message 'Aktionsliste nicht gefunden' (action list not found).
    I'm using a Fujitsu Siemens Laptop Computer with 32 Bit operating system and Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU processor. Windows Visa with Service Pack 2 is installed. So I guess the problem can't be due to a deficiency in system requirements and I also made sure that the required plug-in is activated and that any other version of the player is removed from my laptop.
    Being anything but a computer/IT expert, I would be very very grateful if anybody could help me out. I'm at my wit's end in this matter, have spent the last three hours scouting for possible solutions to this problem.. to no avail whatsoever.
    Thanks a million in advance!!
    Laura

    Hi Laura,
    Most of these installation problems are caused by antivirus apps. These days, practically all of them incorporate web shields to protect you from downloading malware, files shields to prevent you from installing rogue pograms and the like. It's the file scanner which is the most problematical because it springs into action as soon as you run an installer of any kind. This interferes with the installation process and leads to file corruption further down the line.
    In the current circumstances, I suggest you proceed as follows. First of all, disable all antivirus shields. If you happen to be using AVAST antivirus, right click the orange icon in the systray and choose to disable all shields for one hour. If you're using a different AV app, look for something similar in the user menus. Then proceed as follows.
    Download the Flash uninstaller from here: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html
    Close all browsers.
    Reboot. This is important to clear the Windows Registry after you uninstall something.
    When the system reboots to the desktop, disable those AV shields again.
    Download the installer from here: http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player_ax_32bit.exe This is the installer for Internet Explorer. When you see the prompt, choose "Run" to install it immediately.
    If you use another browser like Firefox, Opera, Safari etc., download this one as well: http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player_32bit.exe When you see the download prompt for this one, choose "Save" instead and save it somewhere you can find it afterwards.
    After you complete the installation process, go to http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ to check that everything went according to plan.
    You may require this player as well: http://get.adobe.com/shockwave/ It's rather like an enhanced version of the Flash Player and you'll need it to play games where you have some interaction with the animation. You don't need to run an uninstaller for this one. Simply download and click "Run" in Internet Explorer where you want to install it in that specific browser, or choose "Save" when you want to install it in any other browser.

    Deactivated Norton Anti-Virus & Firewall, Verified Java enabled, and activeX prompts as per instructions
    Went to http://www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer Did the download

    Hi SD, Somehow between the first Install and the second, it appears you Installed a pre-release/beta version. To Uninstall that version, you need to use a special Uninstaller. Everything else you did correctly. Go to this site and page down to "Uninstallers" Follow the instructions and be sure to Reboot(restart) when finished.
    http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/flashplayer10.html
    You can download to your Desktop the FP Installer for IE here:
    http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player_ax.exe
    After you are finished Uninstalling and before running the Installer, close all browsers, disable any applications that may be running in the system tray, messengers, etc. In other words do everything you did when Installing before.
    When finished, Reboot and test your FP again and test any website.
    If you have any questions, just post.
    Thanks,

  • Problems installing latest versions of iTunes

    this started happening around the iTunes 7.3 release. When i go to install the new version of iTunes, it says that it can't access the file iTunes.msi. I could find the file, but no matter what i tried, it didn't work. So uninstalled my iTunes and deleted all the files, and then tried to install the newest version and it still gave me the same message. Now I can't run iTunes on my computer, what am I supposed to do?

    It sounds as though you need to cleanup your installer files.
    Here are some instrauctions for a full uninstall and cleanup:
    Download a fresh copy of iTunes and the stand alone version of Quicktime
    http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/win.html
    http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
    Download and install Microsoft Installer cleanup utility, there are instruction on the page as well as the download.
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301/
    Now use the following method to remove iTunes and its components:
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=93698
    If you hit a problem with one of the uninstalls don't worry, carry on with the deleting of files and folders as directed in the method.
    Restart your PC.
    Run the Microsoft Installer Cleanup Utility.
    Remove any references you find to the programs you removed - strictly speaking you only need to worry about those programs where the uninstall failed.
    restart your PC
    Install the stand alone Quicktime and check that it works.
    If it does, install iTunes.

  • Problem installing latest Reader on new XP install

    I recently formatted and reinstalled Windows XP on a family members computer. It's an older Dell machine, Dimension 4700, if I recall.
    Everything installed fine including Officer 2007 and Bitdefender 2011 virus protection however when I go to install Adobe Reader the install hangs at about 50% and never moves again. The Adobe downloader installed fine and downloaded the app but when it goes to isntall it consistently hangs at about the same spot.
    I downloaded Firefox 3.6 and tried to install via that but had the same result.
    Anyone have any ideas?
    Thanks!
    Anthony

    Hi Anthony,
    Can you please let me know, which version of Adobe Reader are you trying to install on your system?
    If you are trying to install Adobe Reader 9.3.4 (Which is the latest released version for Reader), can you try and install the same from the following location:
    ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/9.x/9.3.4/enu/AdbeRdr934_en_US.exe
    Hope this works.

  • Problem testing XSQL Servlet, XSQL-0007

    Hi,
    I'm testing the XSQL Servlet, as a lot of people do. I installed
