Problems is Application url

i am facing a problem that when i run my application from url it is working fine as
http://192.168.1.78:8888/forms90/f90servlet?form=C:\mytest.fmx
but if i run it like this it show error HTTP 500 internal server error
http://192.168.1.78:8888/forms90/f90servlet?config=oradev
i have entered configuration in formsweb.config as

I would say that either oradev.env or oradevbasejini.htm isn't correct or doesn't exists (on the right path). Compare these against their originals (default.env etc).
Also, in your oradev.env I would set FORMS90_PATH so that I could use form=mytest.fmx instead of a fix path like form=C:\mytest.fmx

When I am going through application help for Solman Configuration it's taking me to standard erp help..
Where as in SR13, under PlainHtmlHttp,
In path tab I had given <b>saphelp_sm40/helpdata</b> for solution manager document.
But for other standard t-code it's giving actual application help.
where for SMSY,SOLAR01 etc i am not getting the application help.

This depends on how you want to (or how you can) use this http://help.
sap.com site.
At first you must be aware of the different areas on this site, these
areas have different URL structures, for example:
- http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp2004 <<< for mySAP ERP
- http://help.sap.com/saphelp_47x200 <<< for R3 Enterprise
- http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04    <<< for SAP NetWeaver 04
- http://help.sap.com/saphelp_sm32    <<< for SAP Solution Manager 3.2
The main problem is that in the area "http://help.sap.com/saphelp_sm32"
there is only online documentation for the Solution Manager
functionality.
Can you please check the table SBAON_CCHK with transaction SE16.
The following record must exist:
MANDT COMPONENT                NAME_EN
xxx   ST                       Solar Help
If this record does not exist, please create this record manually.
This should help resolve the issue.

Unable to pass flashvars in application url in Flex 4.5.

I am creating an application in which I have to pass variable in application URL like http://localhost/Test/test.html?name=testUser
It works fine in flex 3.5 and can be read using Application.application.parameters['name']. But with flex 4.5 it is not detected unless declared in html wrapper.
Problem is, since requirement changes dynamically so somehow its not possible to determine all parameters user want to use so can't be declared in html wrapper.
Is there any work around for reading flashVars directly from application URL ? how about using browserManager's fragments for solving this problem??

Changing application URL in tomcat

Hi,
I have my application build in myapp.war, which I place in tomcat, and it gets unwared in a folder called myapp. I can access my application using urls like www.mysite.com/myapp/loginservlet
My aim is to remove myapp from it so that it looks like www.mysite.com/loginservlet
I am able to achieve this by simply adding
<Context path="" docBase="rumm" debug="0"/>
in server.xml.
but it has introduced additional problems like application cannot access database connectivity info, and also files inside myapp directory.
I was wondering how others are achieving this kind of functionality. Is it the only way, then what other changes I need to do along with this.

Planning application url is always opened in the same window?

hi all,
we hava a problem about sts's planning application url.
no matter what url is entered,all the planning application url is always opened in the same window.and the old opened url is covered by the new url.
Is there any solution about this? Can this url be opened in seprate window?

I would like to know one thing before answring the question how did you link with an url with the label based menu.
Did you used the opendocument syntax or what did you used.
Another method is why donf you use the URL button and map according to your requirement. place the url button on the menu item and change the properties to tranperancy to 0%.

Hi, it is not possible to diasable the url mangling you mentioned. You can call the static method
cl_o2_helper=>generate_url_for_page to get an url for a specific page.

Please help ! No refresh of application URL

Hi,
I've build a application referencing external URL's embbeded over portal -> application -> URL.
Now I have the problem that any change I made on one of this static HTML files is not visible in my portal application.
It seem's that those external URL's are cached somewhere, but where ?
How can I clear this cache to get the actual version of the HTML file ?

Flash contents not being displayed on the published Apex application URL

I've had to publish one of my apex application through an bluecoat proxy to reach my Oracle HTTP server. It works fantastic for everything - except my flash charts. Flash contents are not getting loaded.Issue is only in the published application URL,the same application is working fine internally without proxy.
Does anyone have any idea why this is failing and how I might fix this?.The bluecoat support enginner is having the following findings

Problem with application

My screen says Adobe 8.0 series encountered a serious problem and application has to be re installed. I do not have the discs in my possession. They are loaded in our office in LA before I was sent the PC. Is there a way that I can re load the application which is installed in my hard drive according to the Control Panel?

And which operating system? If this is Win 7, you can pretty much forget the matter. It's not compatible and a reinstall won't fix it. For anything lese you might wanan give this a spin:

Problem with Application server

Hi All,
I'm facing problem with Application Server. When I installed the appserver and started it.. It started with the message " server has been started and some services will run at back". But when I tried stopping it using the stop default server i got the message that there is no server running but when i saw in the task manager i cud see two process running 1) appserver.exe and 2) imqbroker(something).exe so eventually I had to kill it.
Now when I'm trying to start the application server again its giving me this message "CLI156 Could not start the domain domain1" and below is the log file attached if its of any help

The VERY FIRST message in the server log gives you a hint as to what the problem might be. The server thinks you have spaces in your PATH to the application server. Therefore, the solution is to kill the server however you need to (task manager, whatever) and then reinstall it in a path that doesn't contain spaces. That's the low-hanging fruit here; if that doesn't work, well, then we will have to find some other solution.

Problem with Application Server Portal 9.0.2.0.1.

I have a problem with Application Server Portal and Wireless 9.0.2.0.1.
Firstly I've installed the infrastructure on a Pentium 3 866Mhz 512Mb of Ram, with Windows 2000 Server (Italian) service pack 2.
I've maintained all predefined settings and I've chosen the UTF8 character set.
After installation, my infrastructure and OID works fine. The OID has port 4032 (as set by Oracle Universal Installer) instead of predefined 389.
After this I've installed Application Server Portal and Wireless on another host: a Pentium 3 733Mhz 384Mb of Ram, with Windows 2000 Server (Italian) service pack 2.
I've also maintained all predefined settings and automatic configuration of Portal and Wireless. I've pointed to my Infrastructure.
Try to test the Portal demonstration but an error occurred:
"SERVICE TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE. The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later."
On my EM Console I see: component instances 'OC4J_Portal' and 'OC4J_Demos' are UP, instead 'Portal:portal:7777' is down.
On the component lists I've clicked the link of component instance Portal:portal:7777, the 'control services' and 'Accessible Server SSO' are started, while 'Accessible Portal Repository' is down.
What can I do to get my portal started?

I am still getting the same messages even after creating the iview template in EP7.0
Created through:
content Admin --> portal content --> <folder>new --> iview --> seleting "Portal component - create an iView from a portal component contained in a deployed portal archive (PAR file)" <next> --> seleting "com.sap.portal.appintegrator.sap" <next> --> webdynpro <next> --> finish.
Open object for editing...--> Object is a Template to Yes.
Result :
content Admin --> portal content --> <folder>new --> iview --> seleting "iview template- create an iView from an existing iView template" <next> which displays the same message.
"No templates to display. You are not assigned to any existing templates."

Problem with image url

Hello,
today I have a problem with image url. I wanted Image to change when mouse dragged over it. But nothing happened. Any ideas?

Problems importing application

Hi, everybody.
i'm having some problems importing applications from my dev env to my prod env.
it's something very strange because it was working fine 2 weeks ago, but now it's not running.
i get into the import page, choose the file and then the page keeps with that 'importing file' message forever, and sometimes i get a 'page not found' message.
but yesterday, i don't know why, i could import one small application. After a 'page not found' message i got into the export repository, and there was my file. i installed it and it was done.
some days ago i was told here to take a look at the logs and to increase some parameters in apex. but i don't know if these were the correct parameters and the only logs i found were de Apache logs.
does anyone know what can be happening or at least whar must i look for?

I can't help your problem, but I found my errors in the Apache log file.
