Problems while implementing ESS on EP 6.0

Hello all,
I'm trying to implement the ESS 60.2 business package on EP 6.0 but, when trying to access any iView from the package, another logon screen appears in it and no registered SAP user seem to be able to surpass it.
Has anyone ever had this kind of issue?
We're also using ECC 5.0 and the SLD is centralized on the XI system.

i did perform user mapping as well as the ticket option for some tests. both ended up with the logon page appearing inside the iview and no user being authenticated in it (tried with all possible portal and ECC users i could).
i went through the WebDynpro Content Administrator again, made some changes and now, when clicking in an iview, i get the following error:

i came across this thread:

What is the type of Business system is this. Standalone Java?
JPR can have problem if you have a business system thats not ABAP/Java type if this system is not having a SAP TS in landscape then create Java type.

Problem while implementing OSS note 1077403

I am trying to implement a OSS note ( 1077403) using SNOTE transaction. When I download the note, the status of this note is u201CCan be implementedu201D. It creates few standard programs which are utility programs related to Unicode conversion. While implementing this note, I am facing the issue "Objects can only be created in SAP package" and some of the objects in the note are not created. The note status becomes u2018Incompletely Implementedu2019.
Can you please suggest what could be the issue?

you can use transaction SNOTE to implement the version for Basis Release 6.20 and higher.

Looks like configuration prob.
Have you tried jms examples of weblogic ? you may need to re-configure your server setup, to create example server.

Problem while implementing note 1034868 for MAM 3.0

I have another problem implementing this note. As described in that note at point no. 3. I'm not able to activate text elements for "RALM_ME_EQUI_FULL_DOWNLOAD_SD".

I've looked for it but found nothing. Any idea?

Hi Martin,
as we work with the standard SAP function module, we have restored first the last active version for the texts because there was a inconsistence, which we have found under the debugging and next the texts were activated successfully without this inconsistency.

Problem while implement a File to File senario

     When trying to implement a senario , there is an error message by checking RWB --> component monitoring .
    1   Configured source directory 'D:\sender' does not exist . but D:\sender does exsit ,as I have checked.
     what's more, according to short log, Communication Channel is correctly configurated and started.
Could you please tell me the possible reason ? D:\sender does exsit on the technical server .

when come to User Mapping Im able to find my system that is myYahoo, but not able to enter user and password details. Those fields are inactive.

and URL template fraction for user mapping as
login=<MappedUser>&passwd=<MappedPassword>.
but Im getting runtime error as
Unable to process template   '<System.protocol>://<System.server><System.uri>?<Authentication>', because 'protocol' is an invalid terminal property of the context 'System.'..

Locked in different tasks means there were some repairs carried out for the objects and the transport request is not yet released. Some possible solutions are
1. Ask the owner of the original transport to release the transport. The the object will be unlockedand you can make modifications to it.
2. Ask the user of the above said task to add another task for you in the transport request.
3. See if you can delete the object from that transport and include all the changes in a separate transport of your own and transport. (Please check if any dependencies are there with the other objects in the transport).

I've also tested this using eclipselink and got same error.

What version of EclipseLink did you try? This looks like bug https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=280436 that was fixed in EclipseLink 2.0, so please try a later version.
You can also try working around the problem by making both fields writable through the reference mapping.

We are trying to implement ESS for one of our Client.Here we need to connect to the sandbox where all the HR Data is existing.When we create a ESS User and assign him to the Emoloyee we are getting the following error:
   *Error occurred when creating relationship for user P1126 to employee

Diagnosis
     A user has been generated for an employee, but could not be assigned
     the employee (the "Communication" infotype in HR master data).
Procedure
     Please create the appropriate assignment manually in HR master data.*
We have tried of adding it manually by creating the Communication type.BUt No Luck

Please check again the componentinfo and the SPlevels of the testlandsca
pe, that the same level is used on the prod landscape.
So ensure you are on correct levels!
