Problems with WRT54GS router, PLS HELP
I have purchase a LINKSYS WRT54GS yesterday 12 Sept 2006 and setup wireless network in my office.
3 out of 4 laptops cannot connect to it.
All 4 laptops are already place very near the router.
They are able to detect the wireless, BUT can never connect.
Only one Laptop using PROLINK wireless network adaptor can connect to it.
Can anyone advise me ?

Access the setup page of the router and go to the "Applications & Gaming" tab. Scroll down below and look for the "Wireless QoS" option, enable the WMM Support and disable the No Acknowledgement.

Connection problems with WRT54G Router PLEASE HELP!!!!
Hello all,
Im having a huge issue and im hoping that someone can help me. Awhile ago i changed what i believe to be my router settings using 192.168.1.1 and i believe i added WEP secuirty. I changed my password i know that much. Anyway my problem is this - When i try connecting a router to my computer, i cannot access the internet OR the 192.168.1.1 setup. I just get a yellow caution sign on my wireless settings (running Windows 7), but when i connect my cable modem (Comcast) to my computer, i can access the internet. I have reset both the router and my cable modem MANY times (hard resets) and STILL cannot get the setup page for the router. I have TWO WRT54G rourters and BOTH do the same thing when connected to my desktop , yet BOTH work fine on an old machine running XP, so it is something i did with this computer. Can someone please help me solve this issue? any hlep would be appreciated as i am stumped and do not know how to fix this and cannot use WI-FI or my Xbox 360 until i can fix this..Thanks.Check the IP address of your computer and see if it's in range with the router's IP.

Online Games Problems With WRT54G Router
Hi There ppl,
I have a Lan House with 50 comps working, and most of my costumers are looking for online games entertainment (Cabal Online, Ragnarok, Dota, CS, 9 Dragon etc). We have an 8 Gb DSL connection and another one of the same speed for back-up (not running simultaneously at the moment). We should be having outstanding results for online gamming (and we were before installing the new router) but we are having several problems since we install a new LinkSys WRT54G router here. Our physical configuration is the modem, followed by the router, than three DLink Switches(24 ports) and my main computer. Everything cable
What we noticed is that the Internet connection looks normal (even using the command "ping", nothing strange appears, no timed out at all!) but online games (specially the above mentioned) have an intermitent connection. (Some times they connect, some dont)... Looks like it happens usually when I have the house crowded, but already showed also with it empty.
Another issue is that I am using the LinkSys Advisor to help identifying this problem, but I am getting even more confused, because its giving new information each time I refresh the "my network" window. Also happens when showing "My Network Settings" on the Support Tab.
Im using Firmware 8.00.0, what I think is the newest.
I didnt try any forwarding port issue yet, as I would like to receive more information about it (never needed to configure anything related before). Concerning the MTU value I already tryed withou any significantly result.
Please If anyone had the same problem, or have any idea of other possible tests, i would appreciate a lot.

Tks for your attention and reply to my issue!! Yesterday right after posting here (when we closed the doors and I could be able to work on it) I did get the latest one (8.00.2) and also set up manually the MTU value to 1500 (standard is automatic). I also unckeck the "anonymous internet request bock", "Multcast filter" and "Filter NAT forwarding", all of them were checked as standard. I also checked the "HTTPS Internet Access" (standard is only HTTP).
At a first moment I could get a very low sensitive better result (but the Lan was closed, so I had the entire 8Gb for my requests). I came back to work right now, and we have about 30 ppl in, mostly using the Internet, MSN and so... I am trying yo connect to Cabal Online, and GG-Esports (Warcraft, Dota) both of them giving the same problems as always... I am really getting tired and disapointed with LinkSys, I really though I would have much more than I am having right now.
Anyway I gonna keep trying each night to see what I cant get. I do post here If I find any solution (or if I really decided to move to another brand)

Unknown problem with JSP, JavaScript - Pls help

I am facing a strange problem. Explained it below. Kindly help me as it is really affecting my work. Thanks in advance.
I am working on building a web application using jsp, servlet, ejb. the IDE used is WSAD 5.1.2.
I have the below :
1 JSP - Input page - for user input entry
2. Java script1 - For all client side validations
Java script2 - For handling the data submission to servlet (as selected by user)
Javascript3 - Header & Menu Bar
3 Servlet - This actually retrieves the values from the hidden parameters, sets them in session and redirects the control back to the jsp.
Logic for one small iteration : Two drop downs are there. On selecting the first drop down the second drop down should be populated and the first drop down should display the user selected value.
1. When the user selects the first drop down onchange() event gets fired which calls a method in the javascript.
2. In the javascript I set the value of a hidden form field to the selected combo index and submit the form to the servlet
3. In the servlet, I retrieve the hidden request parameter (Index),
set the index in session. Do my business logic based on the value of the index. Set the collection (to be displayed) in second drop down in session.
4. Send the response back to the JSP.
5. In the JSP, we have a method which is called during the onload() event of the body
6. This method sets the user selected values in appropriate controls(by taking from session)
Problem faced: I have a javascript which creates the menu bar for my application and this i've included it in my jsp. I dont know whats wrong with this javascript, when it is commented out the page works perfectly fine. Both the user selected value and the collection are loaded exactly as expected. But when it is included the collection is loaded in the second drop down but the selected index of the first drop down is not set - the drop down gets reset to the default value.
Also on body load of my jsp, I call a javascript method which sets the current date in one text field of my form. Even this is not working fine when I include this javascript. I don't see any script error in this javascript in my browser though. Strange but guess something basic :(
I'm sure there is nothing to do with session. I've tried printing the entire flow. The Servlet sets the values correctly in session and they are also correctly available in the JSP page. The JSP also gets loaded with the user selected values but something happens on page load which clears the values to default.
Am also confused in what way javascript is related to this, coz when I remove it things are working fine.
Am really helpless here pls do the needful. any help is appreciated.

Hi. I would really appreciate if someone could help me find a way to solve my problem. I bought a second hand iphone4 from my friend's friend. I fully trust my friend coz she said this iphone is working but it was handed to her lowbat so i get home i recharge it immediately and after charging it, i open and it shows to select language and country and i did select. After this it shows on the screen "Connect to itunes". Then i plug it in to my laptop and connect to itunes. It shows in my itunes " There is a problem with your iphone". Wireless to Wired PC problems with WRT54GS router
I am helping a friend troubleshoot a home network with a high-speed DSL line, WRT54GS router, 3 wired XP PCs and two laptops connecting to the router via 80211.g
The desktop PCs see each other on the network and can share files and printers.
However the laptops via WIFI don't see the wired desktops on the network, nor can the desktop PCs see the laptops on the network. I tried running the XP network wizard on each laptop with no luck. I tried some ping tests with the following results:
When I ping a laptop from a desktop, I get a return ping
When I ping a desktop from a laptop, I can NO return ping.
When I ping the IP address of the router from a desktop, I get a return ping
When I ping the IP address of the router from a laptop, I can NO return ping.
I tried disabling the firewall features internal to the router with no luck.
All machines are running Macafee total security with a firewall. I made sure the firewall was disabled for these tests.
I would appreciate some advice.
ThanksTurn on file & printer sharing on all computers. Make sure they are all on the same workgroup. Do not use network wizard.
Log on to the router and setup your wireless settings & wireless security. Change the network name from Linksys to something else. Copy these settings on a piece of paper. Now go to your laptops and find the network you just created. It will ask you for the key or passphrase. Input the passphrase you just created. If it does not work you will have to manually configure your wireless settings that you written on paper.

All applications that connect on internet have problems(for example: whatsapp, blackberry app world, facebook..), when i restart my device they work 2 days and then again they don't work. Applications that don't need internet connection work fine, i download them and i can use them in any time..HELP

I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2 each should result in a message coming to your BB...please wait for that before proceeding to the next step):
1) Register HRT

2) Resend Service Books
KB02830 Send the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service
3) Batt Pull Reboot
Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
Hopefully that will get things going again for you! If not, then you should talk to your mobile service provider for more detailed and formal support.

Help with bizzare problem with WRT54G router
I have a WRT54G v2.2 router connected to 1 PC running Linux and a laptop running Windows XP which are both connected via Ethernet cable. The router is connected to a Netgear ADSL modem.
The issue which has occurred only recently is that the laptop has been blocked from accessing all sites except www.ninemsn.com.au.
The other PC can access all sites without issue.
I have tried restoring factory defaults, hard reset (using reset button and power down sequence) and updating to the current firmware. Nothing seems to unblock web access for the laptop.
I have connected the laptop to the ADSL modem directly and confirmed I can access any site. I have tried also booting to a Linux demo CD on the laptop, and this has had the exact same symptoms, which rules out the OS.
Running a netstat -a after opening a browser window to google.com.au shows an active connection, but the browser waits indefinatly for a reply.
Tried swapping the 2 ports around and also the Lan cable to no effect. Tried enabling the wireless adapter on the laptop and connect via wireless, but had the same symptoms.
I am at a complete loss as to why this has suddenly occured. The same configuration has been running fine for about 2 years.
Any suggestions?

When i execute this query i am getting ORA 00905 error. This is a simple query and is easily understandable. When data in two tables doesn't match i am trying to update based on a condition and insert. Can anyone help and tell me whats wrong and how to proceed further

Here we have a data change in both the temp and main tables. Value in the second row( Address field). In this case since the data doesnt match i now need to update the m.edate=t.sdate where m.edate is null and then insert a rew record in main table. Can you tell me how this can be done. I need to do this only if the two table datas doesnt match so i need this to be done in WHEN NOT MATCHED section right? or do you know how this can be done? If data doesnt match then i have to update the enddate in main table which is set to null with start date in temp table where all main.enddate is null and then insert a new record. Appreciate if you could tell me how to do this? -
Problems with ipod mini pls. help
well one day i was charging my mini but wen i took it out of the usb cord and listened to it it says it does not have any songs like everything has been ereased. i tried restoring it but it does not work. also wen i plug it in usb and itunes comes up it says it cannot recognize my ipod.

hi...logon to router's setup page and try changing channel to 11, go to advanced wireless settings, try changing transmission rate to 54Mbps, beacon interval to 50, fragmentation and RTS threshold to 2304, also try upgrading latest firmwar on the router...check whether it maks any difference or not and let me know.

First , I have been with Mac for many years ( 14 to be exact ) I do have some knowledge and understanding of Apple product .
At the present time I'm having lots of problems with the router so I was looking in to some info , and come across one web site regarding : port forwarding , IP addresses .
In my frustration , amongst lots of open web pages tutorials and other useless information , I come across innocent looking link and software to installed called Genieo , which suppose to help with any router .
Software ask for permission to install , and about 30 % in , my instinct was telling me , there is something not right . I stop installation . Delete everything , look for any
trace in Spotlight , Library . Nothing could be find .
Now , every time I open Safari , Firefox or Chrome , it will open in my home page , but when I start looking for something in steed of Google page , there is
''search.genieo.com'' page acting like a Google . I try again to get raid of this but I can not find solution .
With more research , again using genieo.com search eng. there is lots of articles and warnings . From that I learn do not use uninstall software , because doing this will install more things where it come from.
I do have AppleCare support but its to late to phone them , so maybe there some people with knowledge , how to get this of my computer
