    Hello Every one,
    I had 2 issues regarding Info-structures:
    1. I Have mentioned Sales Employee in my info-structure as a characteristic. But when i press F4 help for the same, the system does not show the list of Sales Employees in the database. I am not able to figure out the reason why.
    2.  I have created few Info-structures for Flexible Planning. When I am transferring from my info structure to Demand Management, The info structure automatically reduces the quantity transferred for the current month. I am not able to figure out why.
    Any help on the above 2 issues would be greatly appreciated.

    If there are a few records, go for manual entry.
    If the records are huge data,go for writing upload programe.
    There is no standard transaction to upload data from excel sheet.
    For other question reg. "Update the infostructure directly" . what do you mean this.
    For external data entry like form Excel sheet,you can do without  any problem.

  • Info structures update

    Hi!
    I'm new to info structures (I'm otherwise ABAPer) and I'm probably not posting this question on the right forum. If so, please redirect me.
    Anyway, here's the question:
    How do I set an info structure to be filled with data on certain actions? My first idea (as ABAPer) is to use brutal force like user-exit and direct table insert. But I suppose that info structures were not ment to be treated this way, because otherwise they wouldn't differ from Z* tables. Does anyone know the proper way to do this(or proper forum for this question)?

    Our LIS structures were set up by the implementation team so I'm getting this second hand by looking at SPRO.  I have loaded them and made mods in the past. I'll tell you what I can.
    We use LIS to capture order and sales data.  I'm not familiar with the event you're talking about but it is likely in there some place.  I'll tell you what I can about how mine is set up and maybe you can get a clue therein.  I must say that is is one area of SAP that I really dislike.  Very complicated and documentation is hard to find.
    I'm not sure how far you are but if you've managed to build an infostructure (it should be an empty transparent table. ex. S501) then let's see if just turning on the update is all you need.  If not, we'll have to look at the structure and update rules.
    See the section under LIS called Updating/Updating Control.  Run the Activate Update tran, select the area you data comes from, and take a peek at that list.  For each structure, there is an update control.  It shows the level up rollup of the data (daily, monthly, etc.) I believe.  IN the updating section, you'll see update methods K 1 2 3.  K is "OFF", no updates.  1 is synchronous (V1 update, transaction save waits until LIS is updated), 2 is async (V2 update, transaction requests an update but let's it run async), 3 is the same as 2 accept that the update is scheduled differently.  Just check the F1 help on each of these radio buttons.
    Once you turn on an update, your transaction should spawn an entry into the LIS structure if all went well.
    See if that clue gives you a boost. If not, let me know what specific questions you have and I'll try to assist.

  • Report generation and Info Structure updation

    When are the Tables: S094 and other info structures gets updated?? For Example S094 is updated with materials and has the stock details and it have Goods issue MRP Goods issue Valuation etcu2026 I tried creating a material and created a PIR and run MRP for it and checked the tables its not updated in the S094 table.
    Also I am not able to execute Transaction MCEC and MCEA transaction for generating reports for LTP run.
    Is there any configurations that has to be done for the above??? Like the LIS (Logistics information system settings) that has to be done for generating the above reports.

    - Sales order --> Event : VA
    - Delivery --> Event : VC
    - Invoice --> Event : VD
    If you look at the custo of update rules for the standard analysis S001, you can see the link between key figures and event --> Tcode : MC26 for Infostructure S001 / Update group 1)

    I suggest you to avoid reorg the standard info structures (I avoid to do it). The data is copied from data to documents and to info structures in the moment of the SD docs were created. Think that invoices and deliveries, and foreign data (and some declarations as INTRASTAT in EU) linked to these document have the former country.

  • Info structure -  Updation of info structure.

    Hi All,
    I am new to info structure concept. Can someone help me out with the below query.
    I have a infostructure S998, for ISU sales statics. I can see a tranparent table corresponding to the same S998.
    This info structure has a date (BIS) as a characteristci field. the same field is seen in table S998. I am supposed to find out how is this field "BIS" in table S998 updated. Could someone guide me how to check the updation of this field?

    Hi,
    Two things:
    1. You need run a reports or tcodes to populate them: OLI1, OLI2 and so on, it depends of type of data. With tcode OLIX you can clean the LIS before (OLI7 for SO, OLI8 for deliv, OLI9 for invoices for SIS, check the info icons)
    2. Check that you have data in field STAFO (in tables LIKP, VBAK, and so on) if you want that the before reports work right.
    What kind of data are you populating in this LIS (deliveries, SO, invoices, MM movements,...)

  • Report MCSK: Info structure update

    Hi,
    In MCSK transaction we have a info structure S833.
    When I check for the Updating parameters for the above info structure, I find that it is set to 'No Update'(thru transaction OMO9)
    Does this mean this info structure will never get updated? Also, when I run this report it will not populate the requisite data for the given period from the time 'No Update' is set?

    We have the same problem - but last month it works....
    I can*t change it in OMO9 - all other info structure can be change.
    Can it have something to do with EHP4 upgrade?

  • SO26 Info Structure Update

    Dear All,
    I am trying to run T-code MCRX. But the system Is not generating any results.On some  investigation I found that the Info structure SO26 is not activated Which I subsequently did in COR4. Now Still I am not able to generate any result. I cam across one thread where it was mentioned that doing this cause the Old data to get deleted. If that is the case how to bring that data back.
    Is there any way.
    Please advice.

  • S943 info structure updates

    Hi,
    I am having Issue related to infostructure S943,
    When we create the Sales order and billing that time the ISV value is updated in to the S943 info. Structure.
    But it is updating double value and happing for specific period only.
    If I have checked the values in table’s Sales order and Billing, I am getting the correct value.
    If I checked into the test system, it is working perfect. Can anybody having the Idea about the same.

    In the update rules , kindly check the date you have specified for the update
    I guess you much have given the "Change Date " instead of Billing creation date.
    hence one entry is created at creation time and other entry when it is changed .

  • Sales Info structure update

    Dear All,
    We have a requirement to rebuild the data in a particular infostructure. But this infostructure has the information of all the sales organizations. Is it possible to rebuild the data only for a particular sales organizations.
    If it is possible, how will I bring the test version data of this sales organization in to the active version. Can somebody throw light on this issue.

    Hope you are doing fine
    As suggested above, use OLI7, for sales orders, OLI8 for deliveries and OLI9 for billing docs to upload in info strucutre test version.
    Above trxn allows you to use sales org as selction criteria. but there is no date range to select. So please check whether you want  system to upload the documents in test version from begining. and if at all system uploads the documents without entering doc numbers?
    if data is huge then please do it in non peak time.
    During the upload system may not upload all the documents and can throw error saying document faulty,  for these documents you will have to run these trxn in background and check if that solves the problem
    If still problem persists then will have to deal with these documents manually.
    Uploaded test version can be copied to active test version with OLIX, but before copying make sure to delete the data from active version to avoid the duplication of the data. This is very risky and will need authorizations.

  • How to get info about updates' repo and versions, including AUR pkgs

    I'm writing a little tool in python that checks for updates and displays notification in gnome about available updates. I'm doing this by syncing database to custom directory with:
    pacman -Syb /custom/dir
    and then getting list of updates with
    pacman -Qub /custom/dir
    I do it this way because I don't want to sync my real pacman database until I'm actually installing or updating packages. I then get current version and repo of the listed packages with:
    yaourt -Q | grep "list\|of\|packages"
    It's quite long and seemingly wasteful procedure, but an even bigger issue is that I don't know how to do the same thing with packages from AUR. Looking at the yaourt's man pages I see no option to sync database into a custom directory.
    Any suggestions?

    I can currently do all of the above, but just with official repos and not as elegantly as I want.
    Not sure what you mean by 'sync AUR database' (no such thing exists as it does for the binary repos), but cower will let you download to wherever you want.

  • Mapping runs through Deployment Manager but hangs in Process Flow

    Hi,
    I have a Mapping bound in a simple Process Flow.
    The mapping deploys through Deployment Manager and runs. It currently processes no rows and takes a couple of seconds to do that. It completes with a Success message.
    However, when I wrap it into a simple Process Flow...
    --- w ---> END_WARNING
    START ---> MY_MAPPING ---- s ---> END_SUCCESS
    --- e ---> END_ERROR
    .., deploy this and run it through the Deployment Manager, it hangs. I get the 'Execution in progress...' window with the moving graphic forever.
    The Runtime Repository Browser Execution Report tells me that it is 'Busy', and if I drill down to the Process Flow Run Execution Report, I see an identical Start and End Time, an Elapsed Time of 0 seconds, and no other details (Execution Parameters, Activity Details or Error Messages).
    Looking under 'Find Processes' on the Workflow Home Page, my workflow has no status in the Process List. Drilling down to the Diagram, I have a green line from the 'Start' element to my Mapping but the Mapping itself has no special colour.
    I go back to the Deployment Manager and cancel the job - which it does and reports that it 'Completed with errors'.
    The Runtime Repository Browser Execution Report now tells me that it is 'Busy' (with an information bubble), and if I drill down to the Process Flow Run Execution Report, I see different Start and End Times, and Elapsed Time of n seconds, a single Error Message 'RPE-01002: The operation was aborted at user request.', and no other details (Execution Parameters, Activity Details).
    Looking under 'Find Processes' on the Workflow Home Page, my workflow has a status of 'Complete' in the Process LIst. Drilling down to the Diagram, I still have a green line from the 'Start' element to my Mapping and the Mapping itself still has no colour and no indication that it has stopped.
    I'm running:
    Oracle9i EE 9.2.0.5.0
    Oracle10g OWB Client 10.2.0.1.0
    Oracle10g OWB Repository 10.1.0.1.0
    Anybody know how I can go about tracking down why this Process Flow is hanging - and, of course, getting it unhung :-)

    Hello Steve,
    It's a little difficult to read the exact flow from your ASCII graphics.
    However, from your description it seems your workflow task only has an outgoing success connector, and your execution was not a success. This will stop the execution of that branch of your process flow, since there are no valid routes to take. If you only have a single branch in your workflow, the process flow is stuck.
    To expedite your hung process you just click on the task icon in the Workflow Monitor graph window that does not have a green outgoing connector, press the Expedite button and select skip.
    Corollary: If you use conditional connectors, always use all 3 from a task. I not using all 3, have a very good understanding of why you don't.

    We have Create some Self define Info structure Like ;--
    S061 Location  and Planning               --->S501
    S062 object class and manufacturer --->S502
    S063 Danage analysis                        --->S503
    S065 Object Statistics                         --->S504
    But probleme is when we excute S501 self defined info structure heading comes as
    Standard Analysis for Info Sstructure S501: Selection where as in Standard it is coming as Location Analysis: Selection
    Any one can tell how can i solve this probleme.

    steps to create own infostructure by copying standard infostructure.
    steps.... 1) First Create your own info structure using menu path SPRO> Logistics general > LIS > Logistics data warehouse > Data basis > information structure > maintain self defined ino structure Here create a New stucture called S901 (Follow Custom defined structure naming conventions) for application 07, by copying S115 .
    Once inside this Choose the Charateristic button below and CHOOSE SELECTION LIST.
    This will popup a list of fields that can be added to the structure for analysis per field catalogue.
    Navigate to the notification Object field catalog to select the Order number.
    Select other field as appropriate from other field catalog and copy them.Then select or de-select the "Key figures" thats relevant for your needs Check ,generate and activate the same structure and save.
    2) Create Update rules for updating this info structure by copying the rules of S115.
    SPRO> Logistics general > LIS > Logistics data warehouse > Data basis >Updating > Specific definition using update Rules > Maintain update rules.
    Enter the newly created Structure name and choose teh Update group 26 (use drop down) and enter the S115 and 26 as teh group and rules to copy from.
    Delete the rules thats not relevant for your needs and then check, and Choose "generate: and then activate the "UPDATING" and save.
    3) Activate the Update type for the new structure. SPRO> Logistics general > LIS > Logistics data warehouse > Data basis >Updating > Update Control > Activate Update.
    Choose PM and double click on the new structure that you had just created and chosoe Period and Type of updating (2: Similar to other standard info structures). and save.
    This should start updating New orders that you are creating from Now on.
    However if you would like to pre-populate existing data in this structure for analysis, then you would have to run through the generation program in background for this specific structure.
    SPRO> Logistics general > LIS > Logistics data warehouse > Data basis >tools > setup of statistical data >Application specific setup of statistical data > perform setup - PM.
    Here make sure to do the PMIS statistical setup (This might be redundant, if you havent changed any value category that updates PMCO table) and Set Up: Plant Maintenance IS(Make sure to choose your specific structure).
    You should be able to check the table entries to confirm that the program has updated the table (Name of the info structure).
    The defaulted version could be different from the standard version (000).You could copy the data from one verion to another version using the first step in this block.
    Once the genration is complete you should be ready to use this structure using MCIS transaction (PMIS > Standard analysis > User defined analysis).
    This will list out all the user defined structures and you can pick and execute the one that you had just created.
