Process not found

Hi,
We occasionaly have been seeing the following message in our logs:

Anybody have any clue why this should happen? We are on WLI 8.1.2 and Solaris 9. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

No, actually is a first transport that we tried to do, is a new installation.   The basis team create a track like follow:
DEV - CONS - TEST - PRD, where CONS and TEST are the same server with the same parameters.   I dont know if this is a mistake.
thank u for your response,

  • Master process not found, or multiple masters

    Hi there,
      The line:
Master process not found, or multiple masters
appears in /var/log/messages of a Centos server running FMS 3.5 right around the time Flash videos stop working on a site we built. Oddly, nothing appears in /opt/adobe/fms/logs/master.xx.log at the corresponding time*. Is there likely to be any more illuminating information somewhere on the server, to help us identify what caused Flash to stop working?!
      Best wishes,
    Toby
    * Although the FMS logs feature this line a lot:
Assert failed in /util/TCSysUtil.cpp line 683

Thanks for getting back to me. From the error how did you deduce that this is memory related? The server does not currently service a great deal of traffic, although I'm certainly not saying that I know you're wrong. We're monitoring remotely using Nagios and there are no other indicators of stress (although memory is not monitored).
Thanks again, your help is much appreciated.

  • ProcessControl invocation failed - Process not found

I have built and deplyed a small integration application. When I try to test this
application I get the following run-time error:
    [WLI-Core:530214]ProcessControl invocation failed[Service at /TestWeb/process/AddProcess.jpd

    caused by: : com.bea.wlw.runtime.core.dispatcher.ServiceHandleException: Service
    at /TestWeb/process/AddProcess.jpd not found
I am pretty sure that this process is deplyed on the server. I can see the following
modules deployed in the WebLogic console:
    .workshop/TestWeb/EJB/AddProcess_54emdkdnnj
    .workshop/TestWeb/EJB/AddProcessControl_54emdkdnnj
The JNDI tree also has entries for /TestWeb/process/AddProcess and /TestWeb/process/AddProcessControl.
Any idea what is going on?
    Thanks.

Well, I cannot reproduce the problem anymore. I don't know what changed!

  • Process not found in Process Repository (Cons) after transport

    Hello everyone,
I have a NWDI track with all SC's that I need.  After test all in my DEV system (develop on track, deploy) I tried to transport my escenario :
    1. Activities on track, all components and sources are there.  Check In and Activate sucessfull.
    2. Transport view:  Release a waiting activity.  Sucessful.
    3. Verify entry in my CMS,  is fine.  Import request in Consolidation tab.  Sucessfull.
    4. In CBS Buildspaces, I can find my DC in DEV and CONS, without pending activities.
    5. In development components I can see my DC in both sides too.
    6.  But I can't find the process in PROCESS REPOSITORY.
So, I miss something on the way?
Please, I will apreciate any help.

  • Error for open process order when BOM alternative is not found

    Dear colleagues,
When I open process order. BOM alternative is selected according to the production version. But when  BOM alternative is not found system gives only information message and I can open process order, I want to prevent open process order when there is no BOM alternative according to the production version. Because the Bom can be deleted after creation production version.
    Thanks for your helping,

    Hi,
U need to use an enhancement at the creation of order to check the active status of the bom and restricting the order creation when BOM status is inactive.
see whether following enhancement is useful for your scenario:
    PPCO0006 Enhancement & EXIT_SAPLCOZF_003
    Please confirm.

  • WinRM cannot process the request. The following error occured while using Kerberos authentication: The network path was not found.

I have two forests with a transitive on-way trust between them: PROD -> TEST (test trusts PROD). I had previously had kerberos authentication working with winrm from PROD to machines in TEST. I have verified the trust is healthy, I also verified users
in TEST can use WINRM with kerberos just fine. Users from PROD cannot connect via kerberos to machines in TEST with winrm.
I have verified the service has registered the appropriate SPNs. I ran dcdiag against all my PROD and TEST domain controllers and didn't find anything that would prevent kerberos from happening. I even tried disabling the firewall entirely on my TEST dcs
but that didn't gain me anything.
I've enabled kerberos logging but only see the expected errors such as it couldn't find a PROD SPN for the machine, which it shouldn't from what I understand, it should go to the TEST domain and find the SPN from there.
I'm really out of next steps before I call PSS and hope someone here has run into this and could provide me some next steps.

    Hi Adam,
I'm a little unclear about which SPNs you were looking for, in which case could you confirm you were checking that on the computer object belonging to the actual destination host it has the following SPNs registered?
    WSMAN/<NetBIOS name>
    WSMAN/<FQDN>
If you were actually trying to use WinRM to connect to the remote forest's domain controllers, then what you said makes sense, but I was caught between assuming this was the case or you meant another member server in that remote forest.
Also, from the client trying to connect to this remote server, are you able to telnet to port 5985? (If you've used something other than the default, try that port)
If you can't, then you've got something else like a firewall (be that the Windows firewall on the destination or a hardware firewall somewhere in between) blocking you at the port level, or the listener on the remote box just isn't working as expected. I
just replied to your other winrm post with steps for checking the latter, so I won't repeat myself here.
If you can telnet to it and the SPNs exist, then you might be up against something called selective authentication which has to do with how the trust was defined. You can have a read of
this to learn a bit more about selective trusts and whether or not it's affecting you.

That error means you don't have rights to the Mailbox your trying to access. In Exchange by default the only user that has access to mailbox is the owner of the Mailbox, Exchange Administration rights does not grant you access to another users mailbox. You
need to either specifically grant rights to each mailbox using Add-MailboxPermissions or use EWS impersonation where you can impersonate the owner of the Mailbox see

    Hi
Are you using wli process control?
That uses wsdl and could cause the issue.
I also saw couple of internal bugs CR264315 and CR288904 on the same issue on 9.2.
Since this is a wli issue could you post in the wli newsgroup to get more answers http://forums.bea.com/forum.jspa?forumID=2047 ?
Also you can open a BEA support case at http://support.bea.com and an wli support engineer would help you. Please refer to the Cr numbers above in your support case.
    Thanks

  • Adobe Acrobat Distiller Process. Issue with Font(L0420P not found, using courier)

    Hi Everybody,
We are working for upgrade activities, which involves moving applications from Windows 2000 to Windows 2003 Servers.
My applications uses Adobe Acrobat distiller, which is also getting upgraded along with the server from Adobe 4.0 to 5.0 (Installed licensed Adobe distiller).
I have been using Adobe distiller to convert .PS files into .PDF files. The conversion process requires the PSFonts such as (MB006, L0B, L0420P etc..), each font got a separate PFB and PFM extension files, which are kept in the folder name called "Psfonts" and has been included in "Font location" under Distiller settings.
Using Distiller( Adobe Acrobat distiller 4.0 ) in Windows 2000 didn't create any issues or error while converting .PS files into .PDF files, all the PDF files are generated by Distiller as expected and process without any Font issues.
In Windows Server 2003, I installed Adobe Acrobat distiller 5.0 and moved the Font Folder "Psfonts" from older server(Windows 2000 server) to the new server(Windows 2003) and started Adobe Acrobat distiller process(5.0) to convert .PS to .PDF, most of the .PS files gets converted into .PDF files but when .PS files which require the Font L0420P comes in for Distilling, it displays an error message as "L0420P not found, using courier".
I checked with the old Server's (Windows 2000) font folder (Psfonts), it has the same files(PFB and PFM) as present in the new Server(Windows 2003).
I tried to check the Particular Font name(L0420P) in Distiller-->Setting-->Job options-->Font-->Embedding-->Psfonts, but L0420P font alone is missing in the List.
Could you please help in resolving this Font issue.

You may like to try deleting the PsFonts entry from distiller and closing it. Restart the machine, make the entry of PSFonts agina and try creating PDF.

  • "Page not found" error after 5 minutes of see "processing" on the screen

We are using WebLogic 8.1 server and also the WebLogic proxy as our front end. When a user runs a process that takes over 5 minutes using the Proxy URL they receive an IE "Page not found" error after 5 minutes of seeing "processing" on the screen. If they run it on none Proxy URL (directly on WebLogic server) it works fine.
We have looked into the WLIOTimeoutSecs parameter and set in the web.xml for both the HttpClusterServlet and HttpProxyServlet, but this had no affect.
Is there another timeout that controls this 5 minute timeout? It seems if one uses Apache and sets the WLIOTimeoutSecs parameter to a higher number than 300 seconds there is not an issue.
Did this parameter get omitted for the WebLogic Proxy and if so, what does one use?
    Thanks,
    Jim

    Hello George,
Thank you for the quick reply. I will surely try the option suggested by you.
But what i was thinking is that as this is not a Connection Time Out (500) error, instead its a Page Not Found error, it would be Session-Timeout and not Connection Time-Out.
Maybe I should be looking at:
    SESSION-TIMEOUT due to kernel:
        Kernel parameter:    rdisp/gui_auto_logout
        Kernel parameter:    rdisp/plugin_auto_logout
as per the SAP OSS Note: 705013
But again, I think this Note is pointing to the SICF service and IAC type of iView and not SAP Transaction type iView. Please advice.
    Thanks,
