Is it possible to configure B2B to request and process sync MDN in Custom Document Over Internet scenario?
I have set up the TP Delivery Channel's Acknowledgement mode to Sync but It does not work for outgoing documents. Our trading partner sends back MDN over the same https connection but it only results in an error. The business message status of is Wait Ack for few minutes and then changes to Error:

Also our trading partner reports that he gets the message six times during the time between Wait Ack and Error status and each time send Ack. Nothing is visible in b2b.log in that time.
When we switch to Async Ack, B2B also sends message six times and each time receives Async MDN. This time however, each MDN is received and processed correctly. Our request has status Complete, until the 6th Ack is received, then it changes to the same error as above.
Have any of you experienced above error? Is it at all possible to process AS2 MDN's correctly especially in Sync mode?

Just consider your BPM is receiver, and sender:

Process chain Error: This AND process is not waiting for event RSPROCESS

Hi All,
I am facing an error in the process chain in PRD.
Error message: This AND process is not waiting for event RSPROCESS.
We had a process chain which had two sub chains which run parallel and below of this we had AND process type and below of the AND process we had 4 more jobs.
Once the two subchains got successfully loaded, the and process should turn to green and further 4 jobs should start.
It is a daily load , it worked fine from past years,but suddenly the AND processtype is getting failed.The thing is in the two subchains if one got completed, the AND process process is not waiting for 2nd subchain to get completed.The AND process is turning to RED (status: cancelled) . I tried to repeat the AND process once after above 2 subchains loaded, but it didnt worked.
And i removed the existing AND process and created a new one and placed it in same place and activated and schedules again.but still it is getting failed with same error.

If you did any transports related to that metachain we face similar kind of issues.
not only the AND process , we need to remove all the process before executing the AND process and create it again.
It helps you, you said your in production So you should take the proper approvals and do it.

Hi,
That depends on the system behaviour... There is no issue in that... You can repeate the process.. If there is no repeat option available then you can on the detail view.. there is a chance that you will get a repeat option there.. If not then copy the chain.. remove the loaded process and add one starter chain an continue the chain in immediate mode...

Process Chain hangs on AND process

Help Super gurus!
I've tried several versions of a chain that loads multiple InfoPackages serially then multiple DTP in parallel using filtering from the PSA to a DSO. All load successfully. Then I have the DTPs all meet at an 'AND' process before processing should continue to a cube.
The 'AND' process also shows green but it does not continue to the next process step. It just stops there, no more jobs running, no yellow, nothing. It thinks it's all done, everything after that is still blue.
Why does it hang there and what can I do to get it to continue?

Not sure what is the root cause in your case.
Try this. It may work. Normally this is done after a step turns red and no repeat is available.
Method 1 (when it fails in a step/request)

How is it possible to restart a process chain at a failed step/request?
Sometimes, it doesn't help to just set a request to green status in order to run the process chain from that step on to the end.
You need to set the failed request/step to green in the database as well as you need to raise the event that will force the process chain to run to the end from the next request/step on.
Therefore you need to open the messages of a failed step by right clicking on it and selecting 'display messages'.
In the opened popup click on the tab 'Chain'.
In a parallel session goto transaction se16 for table rspcprocesslog and display the entries with the following selections:
1. copy the variant from the popup to the variante of table rspcprocesslog
2. copy the instance from the popup to the instance of table rspcprocesslog
3. copy the start date from the popup to the batchdate of table rspcprocesslog
Press F8 to display the entries of table rspcprocesslog.
Now open another session and goto transaction se37. Enter RSPC_PROCESS_FINISH as the name of the function module and run the fm in test mode.
Now copy the entries of table rspcprocesslog to the input parameters of the function module like described as follows:
1. rspcprocesslog-log_id -> i_logid
2. rspcprocesslog-type -> i_type
3. rspcprocesslog-variante -> i_variant
4. rspcprocesslog-instance -> i_instance
5. enter 'G' for parameter i_state (sets the status to green).
Now press F8 to run the fm.
Now the actual process will be set to green and the following process in the chain will be started and the chain can run to the end.
Of course you can also set the state of a specific step in the chain to any other possible value like 'R' = ended with errors, 'F' = finished, 'X' = cancelled ....
Check out the value help on field rspcprocesslog-state in transaction se16 for the possible values.

Can i delete the Previous request and create the new request for loading

Dear Experts,
I use 0FIGL_V40.Cube in my system. These Cube does not contain delta capability.i mean for every time i wil load Full only.
Here my question is the first day load full load,and second day i want to load the data.But can i delete the previous request and load the data with new request.
Please guide me .

I hope the DS itself is not Delta enabled. If so i think you can delete the contents of PSA. This step can be added in the Process chain before actually loading the FULL IP to DS. Then you can include a step to "Delete Entire data from DataTarget" step in the process chain before actually loading the DTP(Can be Delta/FULL. I dont think there is any impact here since both will bring only one request from DS to DataTarget since PSA will have only one request) from DS to Cube.

It should not affect the transport. Still a question, Does the transport request contain anything from the process chain?. If you could wait for sometime then do it after the process chain run is completed. Though I think unless you change anything in the Process chain like infopackage selection, etc. the transport should go through.

Direct database request and session variable value

Hi,
I have a problem by doing the following : idea is to have report with a list of all tables in user schema (which are not all in repository physical layer).
By clicking on the name of any, should bring answer report which is done as direct database request doing basically select * from table_clicked (this will be basically the same table with sufix _err holding error rows).
What I'm trying to do is having some kind report for error rows which can be in different tables in my database. So i had in mind to construct name of table i need , and pass it to database request through session variable. Am i doing right by doing direct database request like this :
select * from 'VALUEOF(NQ_SESSION.TestVar2)'
Is there another easyer way of doing this? I know this can be done by gourl by passing parameters but not sure how when i can't filter columns in direct database request (this can be different tables with different names of columns). I hope i didn't complicated this too much.

I know this is a hack, and would be much more easy to create one table with dimension and measures, but this is intended to be used with code generator, which can produce different error tables with different column names in different time: It is not conviniet for somebody to add them to repository every 5 minutes. For example : i run my workflow and for first run I have errors in table1(let us say customer table with 30 columns) and if click on the table name in some answer report, i want to see all the bad records in the table. Tomorrow after the run, there are bad records in table1 and in table2 (lets say products) so I would have choice to pick table 1 or table2 and see al the bad records in any of these tables. This means that I can not now which tables will I have tomorrow, and as it is generic, I can manually add some tables in my model, and would have to add err table also as a possibility to have error rows?
I saw post saying that you can pass parameter value by using go url functionality, by modifying configinstance file, but didn't suceed - http://gerardnico.com/wiki/dat/obiee/logical_sql/obiee_session_variable_go_url . Maybe some mistake or any better solution? I created session variable TestVar2, also modified instanceconfig.xml by adding this before </ServerInstance>

and used go url in column formula : ''||"Physical Targets"."Physical Table"||''

Doubt over Service Request and Web Request in CRM 7.0

Hi Experts,
We are in blueprint phase of our project, we need some guidance on the CRM Service module in 7.0. I read a blog that says that service request in crm 7.0 is much improved and it is prefered over service ticket for future releases.
Can someone please throw some light on what is the difference between a web request (in spro, under web channel-> e service), and a service request. And how do we decide, which one to implement and an example if it can be provided.

Possible to get JComboBox before and after chaged value?

Hi,
I have a JComboBox... whenever the JComboBox value change is it possible to get the before and after changed value? For example:
Let says the JComboBox is showing "One" and the user change it to "Three" after the user chged... I want to System.out.println before chged value ("One") and aft chged value ("Three")
I tried:
put in some code in the itemStateChanged() method... but no success...
Can someone pls provide some pointer or sample code...

Whats the difference between ITS based leave request and webdynpro based leave request.
I read that in webdynpro based leave request there is a need for new workflow, other than what is being used in ITS based leave request. If for some period of time both are in place then will it create some kind of problem ?

Urgent - Travel Requests and Travel Plans

Hi all
I am new to Travel and after reviewing the configuration notes and walking through the transactions I have an issue with what the business is requiring and what SAP travel management seems to be designed for.
The requirement is to create either a plan or request for travel including airline, times, hotel and car rental and times etc. but without going through Amadeus or another reservation system. The aim was to create the plan/request and then send the request as a pdf to our current travel management company.
I am having difficulty in specifying the airline or the flight times...
Any and all help will be much appreciated.

Workbench Requests
When you change a Repository object of the ABAP Workbench, a query window appears in which you need to specify a Workbench request. You can only save the changes if you have assigned the object to a change request.
Workbench requests and the tasks assigned to them are normally used to record changes to Repository objects and Customizing for all clients. However, you can also include client-specific Customizing.
Whether the changes to Repository objects are transported depends on whether a transport route is defined from the current SAP System for the package of these objects. From the system settings, the system automatically determines whether the change requests are transportable and to which target system they should be transported.
Customizing requests
Customizing requests record client-specific Customizing settings made in a single client (the source client of the request).
Automatic recording of configuration activities in the Customizing work for a client can be activated or deactivated for each client with Client Control. If automatic recording is active, a query window appears when you change Customizing settings, asking you to specify a Customizing request.
Whether Customizing requests are transported or not, does not depend on the objects entered, as is the case with Workbench change requests. The Customizing requests in an SAP System (or in a client if you use Extended Transport Control) are either all transportable or all local, depending on the system setting. The system uses the standard transport layer to determine automatically whether the change requests are transportable and to which target system they should be transported. However, you can change this manually.
