Processing in OSB after Replying to client

hi,
After receiving the input data from the partner, I'm validating it and I have to reply back to partner saying that xml validation is success or failure (Immediate response). If it is failure then I have to reply and stop processing, if it is sucess I have to reply and continue processing of the data afterwards. Will OSB continue flow after Reply activity in success case?
Thanks

Thanks Prabu.
If it is a failure case then it is not a problem (since I'm not going to do furthur processing I will reply).
But if the validation is success, I have to send a immediate reply to partner saying that validation is successful and after that I shud do some processing on data. I do not have an option to use JMS in this case and moreover the process is synchronous. Is this solution feasible in OSB?

  • How to integrate BPEL process with OSB?

    HI,
    I want to expose a web service from OSB and then after doing the initial validation of request,want the request xml to be forwarded to one of my BPEL process from where i would go for business processing with the request xml data.
    Could any one help me here, what are the steps to be followed to integrate BPEL and OSB such that i'll be able to get rquest xml from OSB and reply back the final response to OSB .OSB will respond back to external world.
    I have already exposed my webservice from OSB,but don't know how to forward this req xml to my BPEl process and finally fetch res from BPEL.

    Hi Arik,
    Thanks for Helping me out here. But my problem is when i m communicationg with the BPEl via default wsdl generated by my BPEl process, Through SAO-Direct from OSB.It's looking for binding tag in that WSDl which is not present when i created the BPEl process.
    for eg.
    In BPEl I have genarated a web service whose input and response is based on existing WSDL .This is the same WSDL which has been referred in OSB to intract with external world ( for upstream component who would be calling my web service).
    The default WSDL geneareted by this BPEl does have portType,message,partenerLincType. But it doesnot have binding tag.
    Now ,When i m trying to connect to this BPEl from OSB by creating new business service, while refering to this BPEl wsdl,It's looking for binding tag which is actually not present in default WSDL genarated by BPEL.
    So considering my explained scenario,will you plz help me, where m i going wrong and in this case what are the correct steps i should follow to fullfill me requirement.

  • WAAS-CIFSAO Error replying to client

    I observe these WAAS CIFS errors on wae devices in my network. Can you please throw some light on when these errors occur and their effect.
    Jun 14 11:52:53 waas-hou1.hou.shaw.net 2011 Jun 14 11: java: %WAAS-CIFSAO-3-131207: (965197) Error replying to client 149.77.232.204
    Thanks

    Hi,
    Thanks for sharing the information.
    To be frank, it is tough to narrow down and pin point the problem. The best way to nail down this problem would be to open a TAC case. I suspect few defects mentioned below but not sure if you are really hiting any one of this because we need supporting logs to confirm that.
    1. http://tools.cisco.com/Support/BugToolKit/search/getBugDetails.do?caller=pluginredirector&method=fetchBugDetails&bugId=CSCSz31354
    2. http://tools.cisco.com/Support/BugToolKit/search/getBugDetails.do?caller=pluginredirector&method=fetchBugDetails&bugId=CSCsz78754
    Few options if you want to try that might help you.
    Option 1: 4.1.5f is getting older now. You may want to upgrade to 4.3.1. The big reason behind upgrade suggestion is - there are lot of CIFS related fixes that have gone after 4.1.5f code.
    Option 2: reload WAE. This might help temporarily but issue might come back anytime.
    Option 3: Apply "disk delete-data-partitions" and "reload" on WAE from CLI. This will clear all the cache that is built up and may address the issue temporarilty but again, the issue migth come back anytime.
    Hope this helps.

  • Lumia 920 pre & post processing of pics after Ambe...

    Hey folks, im starting this thread in order to grab more attention from Nokia. As they are already aware of the yellowish tint in photos since the amber update, I wanna just add something extra. I have attached 2 sample images of pictures below. Both photos were shot at ISO3200 to really show what this phone is capable of. Each picture will come with a before processing happens and after. Not only can you tell theres a yellowish tint in the post processing pics, but you can also see severe noise reduction. Sure, ISO3200 is a bit on a smartphone, but take a close look at the pics before the processing happens and tell me that isn't a amazing picture at ISO3200. White balance is spot on, and sharpness is excellent. Im sorry, but the aggressive noise reduction Nokia applies is not needed on this phone. Nokia I think most people buy these lumia 920 and 1020 phones based on cameras. I think most people can agree that while we may not ask you to remove your noise reduction settings, but rather add an option for us users who would like to skip out on the post processing that happens. You can clearly see in the before and after pics below how amazing an ISO3200 shot from this phone is.....let us have it please!!!

  • Trigger a process chain(PC) after successfull completion of two other PCs

    Hi All,
    My requirement is to trigger a Process Chain only after successfull completion of two other process chain which are already scheduled to run at different times.
    Please tell me how to achieve this into SAP-BW 3.5
    Thanks
    Jharna

    Hi
    It is very simple, I'm doing the same.
    Insert Remote Process Chain at the end of the actual process chain and call the other process chain, here you need to give source , destination and process chain name in Remote process chain.
    try it, it will work.
    Thanks

    below is the code of signal handler.
    void ReplicatorDriver64::catchSignalHandler(int i_signalNumber)
         if (i_signalNumber == SIGUSR1 )
         ReplicatorDriver64::terminate(i_signalNumber);
         cout<<"return from ReplicatorDriver64::terminate"<<endl;
         return;
    void ReplicatorDriver64::terminate(int i_signalNumber)

         struct sigaction act, oact;
         sigfillset(&act.sa_mask); // set all the signal flags in the sigmask argument
         act.sa_handler = SIG_DFL; // set defaul action flag to segnal
         act.sa_flags = 0;
         m_processStatus = false;
    }

    The C and C++ standards say that the only thing you can rely on doing in a signal handler is to read and write global volatile variables, abort the program, or call the signal function.
    The Unix standard, which applies to Solaris, is more lenient. By default, a signal handler is run on the process stack, although it is possible to specify that a given signal runs on a different stack. If the stack actually used has enough space, you can call functions.
    But the Unix standard limits the system functions that you can call. You can call only those system functions that the man page says they reentrant and safe to call from a signal handler. Any function that calls malloc or free is generally not safe, and I/O routines often involve calls to malloc or free.

    Ivan,
    when you enable the 'java console' in Java Web Start->Preferences->Advanced->Show Java Console, you'll notice that you run into a java.security.accessControlException.
    To avoid that, sign your jar file(s) and add the following to your jnlp file :
    <security>
    <all-permissions>
    </security>
    and it will work as expected!

  • Best practices or design framework for designing processes in OSB(11g)

    Hi all,
    We have been working in oracle 10g, now in the new project we are going to use Soa suite 11g.For 10g we designed our services very similar to AIA framework. But in 11g since OSB is introduced we are not able to exactly fit the AIA framework here because OSB has a structure different than ESB.
    Can anybody suggest best practices or some design framework for designing processes in OSB or 11g SOA Suite ?

  • Reply to client by setting properties of java.rmi

    Hi All,
    I am very new to JAVA RMI.
    Is it possible for me to send a reply to client by setting the properties of java.rmi ?. I mean the reply string , if i am returning a string to client program ?.
    Shammi

    I will be more specific.
    What I meant by properties is system properties applied to the classes in java.rmi.* which we can set. For example,
    System.setProperty("java.rmi.server.codebase", "file://home/shammi/test");
    For the second portion, for example, if my server returns the string "Hello World" to the client, I will have a server method some what similar to the one given below
    public String SayHello()     {
              return "Hello World\n";
    Is it possible for me to do this in another way rather than explicitly specifying the return string.

  • CIFSAO-- error replying to client

    I am getting continual messages as below in my syslog server:
    Local7.Error chiwad01 2011 Aug 12 00: java: %WAAS-CIFSAO-3-131207: (288163) Error replying to client 172.16.6.167.
    How do I find out what the problem is ? only get this on this one server
    regards

    Hi,
    Is 172.16.6.167 client or server? Whatever it is, this server / pc is either virus infected / is opening constant CIFS connections, may cause slowness across device. These kind of error messages arise in the situation where :
    1. A PC is infected wit hVirus / trojen and opening "n" number of remote connections.
    2. A server that has AntiVirus software installed may cause this when it pushes AV signature updates to the clients.
    3. A server that has any sort of security scanning software installed can cause "n" number of connections to open.
    3. A server that has any sort of inventory management software installed can also cause this sort of situation.
    In otehr words, this PC / server needs to be analyzed to find out why it is opening so many connections. Is it suppose to open so many connections?
    This is not WAAS problem but rather that particular PC / server problem. You may want to run CLI command --> sh stat conn | inc 172.16.6.167
    to find out how many open connections this client has.
    Hope this helps.
    Regards.

    Yes. You need to upgrade your XI content in your PI system. The patch what you have applied in your HR sytem has changed the existing stucture which should reflect in IR.
    Please go to service marketplace and check for the respective XI content version. The XI content has been changing for every year:(

  • After connecting the clients to start video chat using RTMFP , Can the server finish the video chat

    After connecting the clients to start video chat using RTMFP , Can the server finish the video chat between clients regardless of clients' will ?

    Hi,
    I looked on this site http://portforward.com/routers.htm
    It lists many routing devices both modems and routers.
    I did not see the Surfboard you listed but that does not mean it does not route (It just means it is not in the list)
    Your computer is getting the IP 192.168.1.3 which means a device somewhere between you and the internet is routing.
    Most likely in System Preferences > Network for the connection method you are using you can see a "Router IP" (192.168.1.1 is most likely based on the IP you get)
    Type this into to your Web Browser like you would Apple.com
    You should get a Pop Up.
    Hopefully it will tell what device you are now trying to Log in to.
    This info may help in looking in the Port Forward list.
    If not check all the Motorola devices listed and then iChat in the Next page.
    The third page from the Link page I gave you will detail the default access info (IP and User ID and Password) for each device you visit.
    You may find that there is a common User ID and password across the various devices and this may work for you.
    At Random this one says admin and motorola as the User ID and Password. (others may say different)
    Don't worry about the fact it says to set a Static IP at this stage Or the Port Forwarding info further down each page.
    You will hopefully be now looking at the web pages stored on the modem.
    They work like any other web pages with menu items and links to other pages.
    Search all the menu items and link to see if the device has UPnP
    It tends to be in different places on different routing devices but try Advanced or Admin as well as anything to to do with opening ports.
    A Status page like the first pic on the second link page I listed may well tell you if it has UPnP enable or not (but this is not always the case)
    Tell us what you find out or if you have some other routing device in between you and the Motorola Surfboard.

  • Batch processing in OSB

    Hi all,
    Could any one let me know if OSB supports batch processing?
    If yes, then what are the advantages of batch processing in OSB v/s the real time processing.
    Thanks a lot. !!!!

    Yes and no, OSB is stateless, so you need to introduce a store on which OSB can collect is information to process. You could use a JMS queue, database table to file directory for it.
