Produccion Orders 2005

I'm making an AddOns that use the Work Orders Object of the SDK, all the people has the same problem, the object in sap references an old table (OWKO) when the new orders are stores in OWOR, Sap said, the new object will be released in 2005A, but nothing, someboby has a plan b to use the Work Orders?

As from SBO 2005 the workorder object has become obsolete, you should use the production order object (this has been released in SBO 2005, but also in SBO 2004.
Hope this helps...

  • Customer/Purchase Order number in PP Orders

    Hi everybody,
I need your help... We are running a make to order scenario / process... there is a request to copy/transfer the customer order number (Purchase Order field on Sales Order creation view) to the production order automatically.... do you know if this can be done using configuration and/or user exit ?  We want to have this cross reference available when we run COOIS for example. Also if we run multiple production orders for the same sales order, sub-assemblies for example, we want also to have that Customer Order No (Purchase Order no.) on the produccion order reports... The goal is to have a quick list of all pp orders for a specfic Sales Order... Any input will be appreciated...
    Thanks,
    Alfonso Gilson

    dear friend,
    -i believe some relevant  user exits exist;
-you could talk to your abaper, say, to append the AFKO table (to add a new field) and to write a custom code to populate this field as alternative solution ...
    good luck

  • Prompts Value Order

    Hi,
Is there any way we can control prompt value sort order? I meant I had defined a prompt in a report and currently value are displaying ascending order (2005, 2006, 2007, 2008). But I want to display descending order (2008, 2007, 2006, 2005). How to control this?

    Hello,
If you are talking about dashboard prompts, then you can alter the sort order by Modifying Prompt. Select 'SQL Results' under 'Show' and then specify the order by clause for the SQL. If it is the answer request prompt, then you should be able to do the same. Select 'SQL Results' under 'What Values should be shown to the user?' and then specify the order by clause.
    Thanks!

in the SAP help the following is written:
    Work Order Window
    Definition
The Work Order Window, from earlier versions of SAPBusiness One, has been replaced by the Production Oder. However, if you had open Work Orders when upgrading, the old Work Orders can still be viewed.
When a Production Order is open, click on the base document icon  on the toolbar to display the Work Order on which it is based.
i recommend you to use F1 in your sbo client
    and search for "work orders"
than select title "Work Order Window" and there is everything in Detail !

  • Importing of Open sale order through DTW

    Hi Experts,
Please explain how to upload open sale quotation, sale order,delivery,A/R Invoice. And what are the templates names for this.
    Regards'
    silpa

    Hi Silpa n,
try to search the steps how to upload the open documents in the help file of DTW template. Here is the definition of the template and how to have it:
    User-Defined Templates
Data Transfer Workbench provides users with default templates for all the objects in SAP Business One, which do not include user-defined fields. This release supports the import of user-defined fields for all the user-defined fields supported by SAP Business One DI API.
    Use
As of Release 2005, SAP Business One Data Transfer Workbench allows the users to generate Microsoft Excel templates as the new interfaces.
There are situations where the user may need properties of the interface that are not provided by our templates. For example, in the case of User Defined Fields, the user can go to the Interface Maintenance tool to add the desired fields.
The user may also want to reduce the fields in the templates or rearrange the sequence of the fields. Interface Maintenance tool also allows users to remove unnecessary fields and rearrange them in the desired order.
After maintaining the interfaces, the user could generate new templates based on the new interfaces.
    Procedure
    1.  To use the Interface Maintenance Tool, you need to first go to the menu bar and select Advanced à Maintain Interface to open the Maintain Interface window.
    2.  In the left frame, there is a drop-down list of all the business objects that are supported by the DTW.  Each object contains one or more structures.  For example, oChartofAccounts has one structure and oBusinessPartners has seven structures.  To add or delete fields from these structures, right-click on a field and select Add Field or Delete Field.  If you select Add Field, a list of fields will appear on the right frame. Double-click on a field from the list to add.  Before it is added, the application will check if there is duplication. You can only add the fields that appear on the list.
    3. To create a new template based on the new interface, right-click on a structure and choose Create Template for the Structure.
To view the existing templates that are provided with the installation, go to Start à Programs à SAP Business One à Data Migration à Templates

  • Apple Cinema Display (20-inch DVI 2005) not working after 10.10.3 update

I have an Apple Cinema Display (20-inch DVI 2005) that isn't working after installing the 10.10.3 update. The screen is just blank, and the power light just blinks a few times every 30 seconds or so. I use this as a second monitor with my iMac (27-inch, Late 2012). Any way to fix this? Thanks!

    Thank you for the update!
Next I would recommend the Reset the System section of the following article for additional troubleshooting:
Apple computers: Troubleshooting issues with video on internal or external displays
    Reset the system
You can reset the Mac's parameter RAM and SMC.
    Reset the resolution
Start by resetting the Mac's parameter RAM. If the display does not come up, was previously set to an unsupported resolution, and still results in no video:
    Start up in Safe Mode.
From the Apple () menu, choose System Preferences.
Choose Displays from the View menu to open the preferences pane.
Select any resolution and refresh rate that your display supports.
    Restart your computer.
I would reset the SMC and the PRAM together, in that order one more time, then do the Safe Boot if needed.

  • Restriction for items from Purchase Order based on Sale Order

    Hi !
We create PO directly from Sale Order ( by ticking Option under Logistic tab, 'Purchase Order') for customer C01 (for eg).
From the PO created, we post GRPO.
    Now our need is,
Assume if 10 Qty is been ordered in such a way and been received (GRPO posted). it 'll add on to the stock account i.e will increase stock qty at our whse.
is it possible to restrict these 10 qty of item from being sold to any other Customer other than whom hav ordered i.e if we create sale order for C02 the SBO should not take the items received from PO created based on Sales Order created for C01?
    Meera.

    Meera,
Which version of SBO are you using 2005 or 2007?
I don't think Serial numbers can help in this scenario.  There is no hard allocation or blocking possible using Serial numbers.
This is the Work around I am thinking about.
Set the items to be Batch Managed - On Every Transaction
When performing Goods Receipt, enter the Sales Order Number as the Batch Number
When creating the delivery, using SBO_SP_TransactionNotification we can easily check the Batch of the Item being selected and verify it with the BaseRef of Delivery lines to match with Sales Order number.
If the numbers don't match we can warn user with message, "The items batch reserved for Sales Order xyz"
Even if you make a mistake when entering the batch number same as Sales Order number when doing a goods receipt. It can still be traced and blocked during delivery.
Hint: The Batch table records the Goods Receipt transaction along with the BaseDocument number, Base Ref, etc
If you decide to go this route, I could help you further.

  • Problem with attaching file to Sales Order

    Hello,
In my company we have the possibility to attach files to sales orders, e.g. pdf files with the printing details.
These files are added by the GUI user, this works fine.
Now we have an extra order creation stream in which a pdf file has to be added to the SO without user interaction.
    I found a helpful link ( /people/rammanohar.tiwari/blog/2005/10/10/generic-object-services-gos--in-background )
This program creates URL links with no problem, but the file generation is not implemented yet.
I tried to add the file functions to his sample report but still have one problem. The file is uploaded, but not reported as a PDF file in sap. If I select the created attachment SAP allows only the saving of the attachment. After saving the created file is a good PDF file, it opens with PDF-viewers.
Why does SAP not know this is a PDF file and report it as such (and open the pdf viewer when selected).
    Thanks, Frank.

You need to supply the PC file extension in the container element 'DOCUMENTTYPE'.
    swc_set_element lt_message_container 'DOCUMENTTYPE' p_msgtyp.
In your case change the above statement as below:
    swc_set_element lt_message_container 'DOCUMENTTYPE' 'pdf'.

  • Long loading time if no internet connection available (VS 2005 Redist)

    Hallo forum members!
I've been searching for a solution for my problem for a while - without success. It isn't really a critical issue, but quite annoying anyways.
Here's the problem i'm dealing with: I've developed an .NET application using Visual Studio 2005 and the included Crystal Report classes. When deploying my module everything works  as expected, offering a decent performance when loading the Crystal Report assemblies provided by the redistributable package - if an internet connection is available. If the system doesn't offer such a connection (e.g. not properly configured proxy settings) the module takes a huge amount of time to be loaded. An examination (using ProcMon) leaded to the conclusion that the Crystal Report assemblies try to retrieve the system connection settings from the registry in order to establish a connection to the internet. This is done only once when loading for the first time.
Has anyone experienced the same problem? What is this connection used for? Is there a way to suppress this behaviour on systems without a valid internet connection in order to avoid this annoying long loading time?
Thanks on advance for your help.
    Greetings,
    L.F.

Nothing like a good vacation. And I got your christmas present early :). While you were away we (actually one other customer) figured it out. I have written a note re. the resolution that was supposed to be published yesterday, but it's still not out there, so here it is as I submitted it:
    Symptom
When a report is loaded is takes between 150 - 180 seconds to display
This is only reproducible on computers with no internet connection
There are no error messages and the report comes up eventually
    Reproducing the Issue
Create a Windows application with the following function calls:
              new Report()
             report.SetDataSource(dataSet)
The function SetDataSource takes 2 plus minutes to execute
    Cause
On SetDataSource() an attempt is made to connect to crl.verisign.com
SetDataSource() uses the framework and as per the Microsoft Knowledge Base specified under "Resolution", it is actually the framework that is attempting the connection
    Resolution
Solution is described in this Microsoft Knowlege Base:
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/936707
The following Microsoft article also discusses the issue:
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb629393.aspx
An alternative workaround to the above is as follows:
Open IE and go to the Tools menu and select Internet Options...
    Go to the Advanced tab
    Find the Security heading
Under the Security heading find "Check for publisher's certificate revocation"
    Uncheck this option
    Keywords
long time load crl.verisign.com certificate revoked internet
The note will be published here:
    https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/businessobjects-notes
and the number will be 1270414

  • Closed Sales Order With Open Rows-Cannot Close Rows

    Hi,
As the title states we have one SO which is closed and the 1st Row is also closed but the 7 other rows are showing as open so they appear on reports etc
We can close the rows individually but when we go back to the SO they are open again! Could this be a bug in 2007 SP00 PL8 ?
    Thank you,
    MB

Just to let you know I did find something relating to an issue when SOs are created on SAP 2005 systems.
In order to verify whether this issue affects you database, we ran the following select query in the Query Generator:
                  SELECT T0.DocNum, T1.DocEntry ,T1. LineNum, T1.ItemCode, T1.Price, T1.PriceBefDi, T1.Currency, T1.Rate FROM RDR1 T1 INNER JOIN ORDR T0 ON T0.DocEntry = T1.DocEntry WHERE ISNULL(T1.Price,0) = 0  AND ISNULL(T1.PriceBefDi,0) = 0 AND (ISNULL(T1.Rate,0) <> 0 OR ISNULL(Currency,'') <> '')
Any results mean that this is a big for SAP Support.
    Thank yiou all.

  • Sales Order Drafts Deleteing unexpectedly

I have an issue with Sales Order Document Drafts deleting.
    Here is my scenario
My customer uses the Sales Order Document Draft to generate for a better name, Recurring Sales Orders.  We run a process using the SDK to take these Drafts and on a weekly basis update them into Sales Orders.
The problem arises when we use the Documents Drafts Report to maintain and delete no longer needed Sales Order Drafts.
    The process to delete is
    1) Run Documents Drafts Report for Sales Orders Only,  with the Open Only check box Un checked.
    2) Highlight the Sales Order draft to delete,  right click and select Remove from the drop down menu.
USUALLY this works well,  but every so often,  when we go back into the Documents Drafts Report for Sales Orders,
anywhere for 20 to 90 of the Sales Orders Drafts are deleted.
We notice that the Sales Orders that were deleted without being selected are missing with in a few minutes of selecting the
    ONE Draft to delete.
Also,  the person maintaining the Sales Drafts is an experienced user.
The Customer is running SAP B1 SP00 PL47.  SQL Server 2005 Database.
Any ideas or similar experiences or suggestions?
    Thanks in advance!!
    Dana

We are able to determine which Draft we want to delete.
The problem we are experiencing is that we delete 5 drafts
when we rereunthe report,  MANY more than the few selected to be deleted were delete.
Basically if the Draft Report displays 100 Drafts and I select 5 drafts, one by one and delete them.
I would expect that when I re reun the Draft report that the report would display 95 Drafts
    NOT 50!!!!
The actual numers on my Customer's system were BEFORE we deleted ANY Drafts there
    were 442 Drafts.
We Deleted 7 Drfats by selecting a line, Right clicking and then selecting Remove from the Drop
    Down menu.  Then clicking Update.
    We did this seven times.
The we entered a Sales Order saving is as a Draft
We then ran the Daft Document Report for Sales Orders EXPECTING 436 Drafts
BUT There were ONLY 353 Drafts
    89 Additional Drafts were deleted.
    This makes NO Sense!!!!
    I appreciate your input!!!!

  • Sales Contracts and Release Orders

The Company (in which SAP is being implemented) signs:
    CONTRACT  A: for 10000 MT of rice variety R1 @ 900$/MT.  from 01/09/2005 to 31/08/2006
Conditions: The price quoted above is for 40 kg PP packing for Destination Port: New York
Incase the weight or the type of packing changes the price of the product changes accordingly. Let’s say for 20 kg of Jute Packing the price will be increase by 50$/ MT. These conditions are fixed. The price also changes with the port of destination, Let’s say the port of destination changes to Washington , then the price will be 50$ more.
CONTRACT B: for 20000 MT of rice variety R2@ 950 MT from 01/12/2005 to 30/11/2006.
Conditions: Same as for Contract A
Now the customer places an order of  5000 MT; for 60% of R1 (from Contract A) and 40% of R2 (from Contract B) to be mixed and packed in Jute packing of 20 kg for  Brand A; to be shipped to Washington.
Note: These percentage combinations can change per order.
    Problem:
To track the Material in Contract , to that in the Sales Order/Delivery/Billing. In Customer Invoice only the Brand Name, Product (which in all cases is mentioned as Rice) , Total Quantity, Packing (20kgX, 40kgY, etc), Value and Port of Destination is mentioned.
The Price of the Final Product has to be calculated automatically depending upon the percentage of R1 mixed with percentage of R2.
One Contract can expire before another hence that Contract can be renewed or discontinued (before it finishes) and replaced by another Contract

    Hi C Y Lau,
the sales order overview page has a block for the billing data. Behind this stands the BSP component BTPAYMENT, View HeaderPayment. But you have to update your configuration for this view and add the field BUAG_ID from the context node BTBILLINGSET.
