Producer content no showing after log on.

I created a federated portal network with a Producer EP7.0 SP9 and a Consumer EP7.0 SP10. Everything works fine, but…..
On the consumer portal I have a test user assigned to a producer role. When I log on with the test user, no navigation or content is showing. If I try to add the role with my username everything works fine (I have admin permission). It looks like a permission issue, but I am not sure and I don’t know how to solve the problem.
Can anyone help me?

Hi J D,
Here is your solution, actually it is problem with SP version SP 10 is not rectified. Try with SP11. We also faced this problem.
If an end user wants to access RDL iViews / pages on the consumer, he/she needs 'read' permissions on the source iViews / pages on the producer as well, otherwise the iView at runtime will fail.
Fixed with SAP NetWeaver 7.0 SPS 11: The RDL permission mechanism was changed and now the permissions on the consumer object are sufficient for end users to display the remote content. This is analogous to standard delta link behavior with regard to permissions.
reward points if useful.

  • How to Make a dynamic screen show after Logging Into Windows

I have been asked if it possible to get a Screen (Web page?) to show after people log in and before it takes you to the desktop?
what the requestor wants is basically, you log in onto your laptop, and then a screen will appear with several choices for you to choose from and you can click the item you want and then it will open...
the thing is the requestor wants to have the company logo and specifc items in the screen...yes, I realize this sounds like the tiles that Windows 8 has).... but it also is similar to a web page...
the person mocked up what they want in Access...
is there a way I can do this with a .bat or group policy....

    Hi,
What you have described looks like some kind of software management system.
According to my knowledge, we could configure group policies/scripts to run programs at start up or user logon, but this won't offer a list for the current user to choose, or might we consider to create a software list program which will be triggered
by a logon script, after the selection then make a call to the wanted program?

  • IPod contents not showing after connection to 2nd Mac

I sync my iPod with my home computer with no problem. I bring it to work and just connect it to my work computer and it sees it as a volume on the desktop and in iTunes, but when I unmount and go to use it, the iPod the contents are gone. I know everything is still on the iPod (I can see it shown in the usage bar in the iPod summary window in iTunes) but the iPod shows no songs or video for me to play. I don't sync it with my work computer--I am only interested in using it for disk use. When I take it home and sync it everything is there and it works fine after that.
I have the same iTunes account at home and at work and it gives me no warnings or anything when I connect the iPod at work (about syncing or erasing contents). I am thinking it may possibly be the difference in iTunes versions. I have 7.5 at home and 7.3.2 at work (I would have 7.5 if I could).
Any suggestions? I would hate to think I cannot use it as a transport drive anymore...

    Yep, that's probably correct.

  • Pages 5.5 table of contents not showing after formatting to ePub

Im currently trying to format my pages version 5.5 document to ePub. My goal is to use the created document in iBooks. I have downloaded the ePub best practices template from the relevant apple help pages and followed the guidelines. However when opening the document as an ePub file via iBooks the table of contents is non existent. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

All the documentation I have read for created EPUB are to export XHTML, rather than DTBook. I'm not sure if it follows the same rules as EPUB for XHTML.
Assuming it does, you need to do two things: (1) Create a TOC Style (not just a Table of Contents) in the Layout menu. (2) When in the Export EPUB dialog > Contents panel, specify the TOC Style you created.
In an "normal" EPUB 2.01, that would do two things: It would create a navigational TOC shown in every EPUB reader, and it would leave the TOC you placed on your page as an internal TOC.

    Hi,
Right click an empty area of the Taskbar and select Properties.
    Select the 'Navigation' tab.
Remove the tick in the box next to 'When I sign in or close all apps on a screen, go to the Desktop instead of Start'.
Click Apply and Ok to save the change.

One thing that you can try is installing a 'fresh' version of OS X Lion. Boot into your Recovery partition (holding down the command and R keys whilst booting) and elect to install OS X from the Recovery screen. You need not erase your hard drive and you should not lose any of your data.
Oh, and just as a precaution, I would use Disk Utility, once you're in Recovery mode, to verify your hard drive before trying to install the OS again.

  • How do I create a custom screen to show after a person logs in we are using windows 7

I have been asked to create a custom welcome screen that would load after a person logs into their computer. This screen is to have links to applications.  But I need this to show after they log in and before they see their desktop. and I
need it to be full screen size.
    this is mandatory:
I need this to show up AFTER people have logged in, and b4 they see their Desktop.  auto adjustment to fill the screen  and the screen will have multiple images with them being hyperlinks to the various applications. The kicker is we
are running windows 7.  Of course one of the links will go to the desktop.(basically shut down the window screen)
I seem to recall there is a way of doing this using group policy to trigger a screen and possible using HTA or VB6 method or a scripted page but I'm not sure how to accomplish this...
This is coming from upper upper management  and they have it mocked up in access 2013.
How do I do this or even accomplish this screen for windows 7.
    PS:
I realize that windows 8/8.1 has this type of thing built in, but the company is NOT ready for windows 8/8.1

I built a System Message HTA for my previous employer that was used in a computer lab setting. It was a nice way to inform the users about things happening in the lab, as well as a nice way to ensure people knew who to contact if there were problems.
The HTA lived on a network UNC and each computer had a shortcut to the HTA in their All Users Startup folder (C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup). While you could push the shortcut with GPP, likes the others recommended, that's
about all you should do with Group Policy. This was neat - I had the HTA run custom .cmd files (in a hidden window) when it loaded (the Windows_onLoad subroutine) and then when it was closed by the user (button press that called an ExitProgram subroutine).
This allow me to capture who was logged on, how long the HTA was open, and what computer they were using. In a computer lab such as that one, it was nice to have additional way to track who was using what computer and when. Good luck and let us know if there
are any more questions - I really enjoyed that project.
    Edit: Added additional info.

  • IPhone 2.0 shows content as "Other" after syncing

Upgraded to 2.0 At first all was well. With nothing else changed, when I now try to sync with Itunes 7.7, all music and video content shows as "Other" on the summary tab. On my iPhone, no music or video shows up existing under Playlists, Artists, etc. I have to completely restore my iPhone each time I sync, which takes over 90 minutes. (Even if I unselect playlists, then sync, the original amount of space used by my content still shows as used "Other" space, so I must restore, then add the playlists back in, sync without ever disconnecting my iPhone, then it will be fine until I want to sync again)
    Tech info:
    * Plugged into USB 2.0 port, directly into computer (have even tried different ports)
*I have uninstalled and reinstalled the newest version of iTunes
    * Windows Vista SP2
    * Not using Exchange - very basic iPhone configuration
    * Have tried resetting iPhone as well

The space used by my music and video content "turns" into the 6+GB of "Other" after I Sync. Again, once I restore, this 6GB of space is correctly my content, until I sync again.
So yes, obviously something isn't right. Any suggestions?

  • I have a Mac Book pro 2007 and when I try to start, after logging in it just doesn't open.  The apple symbol shows but it seems to be frozen????

I have a Macbook Pro from 2007 and run Mac OS Lion.  Today it froze and when I tried to restart after log in it just freezes and does not open?  Can anybody help?
    Gunilla

First thing to try, reboot from the Mac OS X install disk that came with your machine.  When it starts up, select your language, then choose Disk Utility from the Utilities menu.  Select your hard drive in the list and then, in the First Aid tab, click Repair Disk (NOT Repair Disk Permissions).  If there were problems that were repaired, try rebooting again and see if the problem is gone.
Alternately, if you have upgraded that machine to Lion (Mac OS X 10.7), you can hold down command-R at startup to enter recovery mode, and then open Disk Utility from there and do the same repairs.
Let us know what the results are for further assistance, if the problems continue after repairing.

  • Login Window clock shows incorrect time, clock time fixes itself after log in...

    Good Evening,
This morning I turned on my MacBook Pro and while I was typing my password to log in, I noticed that the time in the login window clock had a wrong setting. The time displayed was 4 hours delayed in relation to my time zone. However, after logging into my user account I looked and the menu bar and when the clock got displayed, the correct time of my time zone appeared.
I don't know what could have caused this issue. The only thing I know is that yesterday evening, I was using my MacBook Pro with Windows 7 via Bootcamp and used it for a prolonged time (about 5 hours), and then shutdown the computer and did not touch the computer until this morning. Could these issues be related? I know OS X and Windows measure their times differently because the former OS calculates time in relation to UTC and the latter OS calculates the time using the actual zone you have specified in the time settings.
Other than that the issue has not manifested itself again since this morning but I haven't booted into Windows just yet.
    Thanks for your time!

Make sure the time and date are correct.
Open System Preferences > Date & Time then select the Date & Time tab.
Select:   Set date and time automatically
Then select the Time Zone tab.
Select:  Set time zone automatically using current location
If that doesn't help, open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy paste the following:
    ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.systemuiserver.plist
Click Go then move the coml.apple.systemuiserver.plist file to the Trash.
Then restart your Mac and check the time ...

  • After logging into Windows 7, I have to double click several times on Mozilla in order for it to pop up. Then on the tool bar it will show that I have several open boxes of Mozilla.

Mozilla will not open even after several tries. It eventually will but then I have several open Mozilla boxes and have to delete each one until I have just the one.

Just sounds as though you're being impatient. Wait a minute after logging in and then double click the icon. It'll probably then load up straight away.
Each time you double-click an icon it'll launch a new instance of the application. So what you're probably doing is double-clicking 7 times, which then causes 7 copies of FF to open when your computer catches up.

  • After log-in nothing

Yesterday I finally gave in to Software Update and told it to install what it had gathered. Afterwards it indicated that installing the updates for iTunes etc. had gone fine but the system update, to 10.4.8, had not been completed and I should try again. [ I am not sure which version of 10.4 I was running (was it already 10.4.8?), I just took Software Update's word that it needed to install this. Dumb.]
But since then my iMac will not restart. It goes as far as the log-in screen, I fill in the password, and then the log-in screen vanishes, the apple blue desktop appears, and nothing more happens. Not even a spinning ball.
    Here's what I've tried:
•Starting up from a Diskwarrior CD, holding down "C" at startup. Same failure. Doesn't use the CD, just tries a regular start-up and shows the log-in screen.
    •Zapping the PRAM. Same failure.
•Holding down Command-S at startup in order to run fsck.
This was the only one that changed anything: while it resulted in the same old Log-in Screen failure, & did not allow me to run fsck, then when I restarted again and logged in the process actually continued to begin a normal startup, showing the Spotlight icon in the upper right, but that was as far as it went, then it stuck with the spinning ball for minutes until I gave up. Subsequent power-button startups did not get this far, just did the "Same failure."
•Finally I disconnected the external drive where my system resides and after doing that, I could get the iMac to startup from the DiskWarrior CD---before it had refused to recognize it at all. But then when I ran DiskWarrior 3.0.3 on the system (reconnecting the external drive just after the iMac had begun to use the CD as its system), DiskWarrior said it "encountered an unknown error while trying to rebuild the directory, rebuilding is cancelled, restart and try again. (36)"
I've about run out of things to try. As I write this, on my husband's PowerBook, I am running DiskWarrior again on the iMac, but I expect it will fail again as before.
Does anybody have some suggestions I could try? before I call Apple again and agree to pay them $49?
    thanks,
    C.

Hi lostcities, and welcome to the discussions.
You said that after you login, you get the blue desktop and nothing more happens. Do you also get a full menu, dock and desktop icons (mounted hard drives, etc.)?
If not, it sounds like something I've encountered a couple of times with Tiger: for whatever reason the machine freezes/locks up/crashes, and when you restart, all you get is a desktop and the spotlight icon in the top right corner, with the menu bar cut-off just left of the icon.
If this is what you have, I've successfully come back from this with the help of Maintenance. I boot the computer in safe mode (hold the Shift key during boot), which gives me a normal desktop, then have Maintenance run all of its maintenance and cleaning routines.
I'm only guessing here, but I think the problem may be related to the Cron scripts which are supposed to run on a daily/weekly/monthly basis. Since we turn off the computers at night where I work, these scripts never get the chance to run. We've only been using Tiger for 3-4 months, and I've had this happen to two different Power Mac G5s, which seems statistically anomalous. This never happened with Panther.

  • How do I get folders and their content to show up in the "Administrative Console"?

We have added a few sub folders under the “webroot” folder. I did this so I could make a custom web page that generates the code need to display the video in a web page if it is one of the folders.
My question is how do I get these folders and their content to show up in the “Administrative Console”?
Also how do I get the videos to be logged?
I have looked through the Server.xml and Application.xml files and the fms.ini but do not see any place, Am I not looking for the correct setting?
Attached is a pic of the folders.
    Thanks
    Chip

If Apache and MS do not talk to each other then where or should I be making these folders, some other location?
Maybe under the vod folder under applications?
Where in the “Flash Media Server” pdf would this be talked about?
Would I edit the Application xml file?
I am so new it hurts!
    Thank you,

  • Can't see purchased music, movies, or TV shows after upgrade to iTunes 11.1.2

I upgraded my Macbook to the new Mavericks OS and also updated iTunes to the newest version 11.1.2 on Wednesday. Since then I have been unable to view any of my purchased music on the iTunes Store. The purchased page comes up blank. However I am able to view it the purchased music via the iTunes Store link on my iPod Touch and iPad.
I'm also unable to download the movies and TV shows that I purchased on iTunes on my computer. They show up under purchased but they do not have the cloud icon on them for me to download. When I click on them it takes me to the page to purchase them again. However when I view them on my iPod and iPad they have the cloud link so that I can download them without having to pay for them.
Is anyone else having these issues since downloading Mavericks and iTunes 11.1.2? I tried downloading some of the purchased music to my iPod and syncing with my computer but after 4 hours of the spinning wheel I gave up on trying to sync my iPod.

Found a solution from the Apple Support Team. The link below will tell you what to do to get your cloud content to show up in your library so that you can download it.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519
Just scroll down the Mac and PC section and choose the version of iTunes you have and it will provided step by step instructions. Worked for me!

I have a iPhone 4s that I am trying to syn. when I look at IPhone content it shows music, but there is this symbol  A dotted circle and these will not play. Please help as I am frustrated.

Try restoring the iPhone to factory settings. If you are having difficult restoring, put the iPhone into Recovery Mode and see if that then works:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808
If not, or if a restore to factory settings does not fix the problem, then your iPhone may have a hardware problem. You can only get the iPhone serviced by Apple in Canada, so you will have to take the iPhone there or send it to someone you know in Canada who can get the iPhone serviced and send it back to you. The only option for getting service in Pakistan would be to pay some unauthorized repair shop to attempt a repair, after which Apple will no longer provide any service even in Canada.
