Producing a chart showing the lowest of 4 hourly values as one point

Okay, new to this forum.
I'm trying to produce a chart in APEX that shows the lowest value of every 4 hours to produce as one point in my chart for a monthly chart.
I've created a schedule to get flashback data every hour from a database.
Then this bit of SQL for a weekly chart showing the data from each hour:

to_char(todays_date, 'DD-MON-YYYY HH24') as label,
(OLDEST_FLASHBACK_TIME * 24) AS ####

where DATABASE_NAME = '####'
i want to get the lowest value from every 4 hours and show it in the graph for a month.

Using the above SQL worked okay for one series, but if i add another series to the chart, it doesnt display the two series on the chart together, it displays them seperately as they have different values.

Pay no attention to iinami, the amount of replies to people saying their handsets must have been jailbroken everytime iTunes throws out an error is tremendous. I can read my temperature and batch number but I can't produce a graph show the Temperature over time

I am very new to Lookout and I have been having alot of problems getting the graph to show up. We have several kettles that cook media to a desired temp over a pre-set time and I am able to see the batch number and the temp of the kettle but I can't bring up the graph that shows the recipe being cooked. We use Ethernet for three of our larger kettles and RJ-422 for ten of our smaller kettles. My network constantly crashes and if there is anyone reading this in the Ottawa area I would like to set up a meeting to get some advice.

As i understand, to create Graph in lookout is easy and you know the process . There are Two resons to Graph hang the PC or process.
1.Low computer memory
a. RAM b. Graphic Card memory.(VGA Card)
2. Deviation Rate.
If you set the deviation rate minimum than it will continuously logs the data and will slowdown you computer. If your process allows you to store data with more deviation than it will make your life easir.
Also increase the Computer RAM and increase the Graphic card memory, because graphs require memory as in the case of games.

How to show the graphs from 16channels or more at one time

Hi.
I am using labview with pci-6031e board.
Is there a efficient way to show the graph from 16 channels which acquire the temperature with thermocouple, or to show just one specific graph that I want.
I followed these steps.
1.in examples from the labview program,I`ve used the source of acquring the multi-temperatures.
2. used the index array to devide each temp. and connected this to graph in the case structure.
but it requred too many space,and doesn`t look good.

You can set a state machine doing the following: Put 17 controls, one for each temperature and one for all. Inside the case structure, wire one case for each temperature, bundling x and y arrays into a cluster, and then building an array (of 1 element). In the all case bundle each temperature and build an array of all. Put the array output into the graph... and it's done.

Every time I click on any link, an add pops up in a separate tab even though I have the ad blocker turned on. At one point I couldn't even log in to anything!

I downloaded several types of Kindle readers because the Mac obviously doesn't come with one. I have a feeling one of them was corrupt because afterwards, these adds wouldn't go away and everything got steadly worse. I've only had my Mac for less than a month so I erased everything I had on it, icluding music, pictures, whatever files that could potentially be harmful.
I cleared out my trash, I erased my history, I disconnected from my internet, I redownloaded Chrome and these adds still keep popping up no matter what I do. I even downloaded a Macbook cleaner from the website and it did absolutely nothing. I've run out of options and I'm so frustrated that I'm tempted to just sell my laptop, I'm so sick of dealing with this.
Any suggestions? Should I just go into an Apple store and have someone check it out?

1. This procedure is a diagnostic test. It changes nothing, for better or worse, and therefore will not, in itself, solve the problem.
2. If you don't already have a current backup, back up all data before doing anything else. The backup is necessary on general principle, not because of anything in the test procedure. There are ways to back up a computer that isn't fully functional. Ask if you need guidance.

Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C.
7. Launch the built-in Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Click anywhere in the Terminal window and paste (command-V). The text you pasted should vanish immediately. If it doesn't, press the return key.
8. If you see an error message in the Terminal window such as "syntax error," enter
exec bash
and press return. Then paste the script again.
9. If you're logged in as an administrator, you'll be prompted for your login password. Nothing will be displayed when you type it. You will not see the usual dots in place of typed characters. Make sure caps lock is off. Type carefully and then press return. You may get a one-time warning to be careful. If you make three failed attempts to enter the password, the test will run anyway, but it will produce less information. In most cases, the difference is not important. If you don't know the password, or if you prefer not to enter it, press the key combination control-C or just press return three times at the password prompt. Again, the script will still run.
If you're not logged in as an administrator, you won't be prompted for a password. The test will still run. It just won't do anything that requires administrator privileges.
10. The test may take a few minutes to run, depending on how many files you have and the speed of the computer. A computer that's abnormally slow may take longer to run the test. While it's running, there will be nothing in the Terminal window and no indication of progress. Wait for the line
[Process completed]
to appear. If you don't see it within half an hour or so, the test probably won't complete in a reasonable time. In that case, close the Terminal window and report the results. No harm will be done.
11. When the test is complete, quit Terminal. The results will have been copied to the Clipboard automatically. They are not shown in the Terminal window. Please don't copy anything from there. All you have to do is start a reply to this comment and then paste by pressing command-V again.
If any private information, such as your name or email address, appears in the results, anonymize it before posting. Usually that won't be necessary.
12. When you post the results, you might see the message, "You have included content in your post that is not permitted." It means that the forum software has misidentified something in the post as a violation of the rules. If that happens, please post the test results on Pastebin, then post a link here to the page you created.

OBIEE 11g pie chart showing the slices by different measures

Hi,
We are using OBIEE 11g. We have a requirement to show PO Met Count , PO Under Count, PO Over Count as a slices in a pie chart. However Pie graph in 11 g is slicing only by a dimension and not by the above measures. This was possible in 10g. I want to know if this a limitation in 11g or is there a way around this.

I tried to slice by measure by dragging the column to slice size section. I have 3 metrics PO Under Count and PO Over Count which add up to total PO count. So I want my pie to ahve 2 slices one for PO Under Count and other for PO Over count. However when I drag the 2 metrics, it shows me 2 pies, one for Over and the other for Under count.

ResourceGantt Chart - showing the task column in datagrid or tooltip, help?

I managed to create a resource gantt chart, but now I would like to display the task in both datagrid, i.e. the left panel with columns and in the tooltip. How can I force the view of this task name or project? At the moment, only the resource name, start date, end date, % of completion show up. Any help please?

The expressions are as follows:
Scores Table
Medi Column: =AVERAGE(B2:G2)
Passing Column: =IF(H≥6, H, "")
Failing Column: =IF(H≤6, H, "")
Pie Chart Data Table:
Pass Column: =COUNTIF(Scores::H, ">=6")
Fail Column: =COUNTIF(Scores::H, "<6")
The Bar Chart is a 2D Stacked Bar Chart

What is the lowest overhead way to limit executing one section of code to 4

In a single app we need to limit executing a section of code to 4 threads. This section is not the start/end of the thread, it is a section of code inside the thread.
So what is the most light-weight way to do this when all threads are in a single app? Semaphore?
Background: We are changing our licensing model to allow a maximum of N (4 in this example) threads calling our library consecutively. Because we're a library, not a server, we don't control the thread usage (like databases can). In the case of a web app, the calling app also doesn't control the number of threads and so we need to pause thread 5 calling us until one the first 4 exit that code.

Since the API docs for Semaphore say
Semaphores are often used to restrict the number of threads than can access some (physical or logical) resource.that would seem to be the answer.

How to show an dropdown menu when user click on one point on lineseries?

I am showing line series on the chart, I'd like to give some interaction, when user click on the "point" on the line, I'd like to show a dropdown menu, and react to user's choice on the menu item.

1. I added mouseOver/mouseOut action to the LineSeries, it then react when I mouse over the line, instead of at the data point.
2. How do I know the dataPoint's position and locate popmenu in that place? on other words, how do I have dropdown menu. I tried to use "this" as DisplayObjectContainer and send to Menu.createMenu, but seems not working.

Modify Chart Legend Data Behaviour to show only lowest level of drill

I have a chart with a legend in OBIEE 11g.
When I click on chart data or legend it drills to the next level of the hierarchy which is what I want.
However the legend show all levels of the hierarchy in the legend data like this:
"Level 1"."Level 2"."Level 3".
This is very cluttered and redundant as Level 1 & Level 2 are the same for all items.
What I want is that it only shows the lowest level of a hierarchy that has been drilled to eg.
"Level 3"
Is it possible to do this? I've already tried the user guide, on this forum or on google search.

You could hack the popchart JS files I guess, John Minkjan's blog describes some changes , in particular on mouse-hover activity but they should show where to start.

What I have is two tables, each of them has a timestamp column. I want to do a select with a join that will show a column with the number of hours between the two times.
(I have added the columns as timestamp(0) since I have no need for the decimals)
Here's what I have:

Firefox is having a problem with Linkedin. I get the error, error in parsing value for "backgroun" and for "filter"

When trying to send messages in linkedin, firefox takes me back to the log in screen without sending the message. On the error console it shows the error; error in parsing value for "background" and error in parsing value for "filter". What is causing this?

Pages does not support the Apple font used for color emoji, so that behavior is normal.
With what app are you reading the yahoo mail? There is really no guarantee than any other email service will show the special Apple font involved.
You should have no problem putting emoji directly into Mail or Text edit via drag drop from the Character Viewer as shown below.
You should also be able to upload graphics here easily by clicking on the camera icon. My email is tom at bluesky dot org.

Show biggest index in array with value "True"

Hello,
Is it possible to show the maximum index number with value "true", like shown underneath?
I can show the value on what index the series of "true" ends with the "Array Max & Min" function, but when there is
one False between those True's, it will show the index of the True left of the False.
I don't need to know the size of the array, because it has to stay 8

Chart doesn't show the bar of the value

I added a chart in my SSRS report and added the value fields and the category groups and tried to preview. Instead of showing the bar for the sum of the data it is saying "No Data Available"
I added a table and used the same value for the column and it displayed the count, so I am not sure what is wrong with the chart that it's not showing any data.
Please help.

One way to check whether or not the ScriptListener Plugin is working properly is to see if a) it is creating/updating the ScriptingListenerJS.log file on the Desktop and b) if that file actually contains anything. For both Eran and Maaskeikke, it sounds like the log file *is* being created but that it is empty. If that's the case, it seems like this might be an issue with the Script Listener Plugin, and I'm not sure exactly what to recommend. I'll ask the folks who wrote the Script Listener if they have any thoughts and post an update on this forum.
Here's one other thing to note: sometimes, the Script Listener does not write out instructions immediately after they are demonstrated in Photoshop. In my experience, if you save the document at the end of your recorded demonstration, that often "flushes" all instructions to the Script Listener log file. Please let me know if this helps.
