Product change date gap CRM-ISU

Hello experts,
We have a problem here with the producto change functionality. I will try to explain the problem
As many of you already know, when you execute a product change from CRM, the old position date get expired and the new position start date begins the next day. The data is replicated to ISU and the EVERH is updated (old position date e.g expired 13.08.2009 ). After that, in ISU the information is sent to the distribution company to accept the modification. Once the information is back from the distribution company, the new position is created in the EVERH (e.g start date 23.08.2009) and replicated to CRM.
The problem is that the distribution company takes, for instace, 10 days to give the information back to ISU and therefore a gap date comes up between the end date of the old position (e.g 13.08.2009)and the date that the new position is activated (e.g 23.08.2009). Many errors occurs in ISU due to this gap date
We would like to avoid the date update in ISU when the data comes from CRM, to keep the old position date open in ISU until the activation is accepted. Somebody knows how could I manage not to send the old date to ISU in CRM?
Thanks all in advance. Hope not to be so boring.
Regards

How do you do this change in CRM? Do you do a move-out? When the distribution company confirms do you create a move-in?
Here I´m talking about a product change in CRM. The contract is the same for both positions, only the product is chaged. So there is no move-out for the contract. The flow is as follows:
CRM Product change - ISU EVERH table update (only old position with expired date) - Distribution company confirs modification - ISU EVERH table update (new position for the same contract) - CRM new position activation update
Hope this helps
Thanks in advance

  • Track production order ststes histry (Status change date, time, user)

I want to track a production order status change history. Status change date, user name and status. Appreciate if somebody can give me a T Code, SAP report or a table.

    HI,
You can see the the date, time and user for the status changes by following the menu path given by Mr. Mangalraj.
However if you cant see them, then check the T Code OPL8 (for PP and COR4 for PI), implementation tab. Tick the check boxes for for Status Change Documents as your choice (for header, operations etc).
After checking these boxes you will be able to see the status change details.
    Hope that helps.
    Regards,
    Rohit.

  • Technical Master data replication CRM to ISU

    Dear Experts,
This is regarding the replication of TECHNICAL MASTER data from CRM to ISU. I have done all the required setting and the data is replicating to ISU as well except PoD.Unable to replicate POd.Can any one suggest on this
Also while creating Service Contract in CRM every time system ask to "identify the Premise " which is not possible as i am unable to find Premise details in CRM.
Has any one faced such issue.
    Regards
    Hrishi
Moderator note - thread locked, no research, generic question

    Hi,
Sometimes, the data can get stuck in the queues. So you need to check on it as well.
After creating the technical master data, please check whether it exist in ISU system.
Then you can check the SMQ1(Outbound queue) in ISU.
Then you can check the SMQ2 (Inbound queue) in CRM.
Also in Tcode SMW01 ( BDoc message) in CRM.

  • How to do the CRM Product Master Data extraction?

    Hello guys,
I have to upload the CRM Product Master Data from a CRM 6.0 system to a BI 7.0 system.
The only information that I have is the infocube in the BI for the extraction is 0CRM_PROD.
I've checked that the CRM Product table COMM_PRODUCT and found that entries in the table and the infocube don't correspond to each other exactly. I also cannot find approprite DataSource in BI or CRM system for the data transfer.
Who can telll me anything about this kind of master data extraction to BI?
    Thanks in advance.
    Best Regards

    Hi,
u tried using the generic extraction using rso2.create one datasource and give the table name comm_prod.
    bye.

  • Activate Change Document - Product Master Data

    Hi Experts,
I am looking for comments on the following things. I hope the experts could share experience related to real time projects that you have worked / are working.
I am considering the option to activate Change Documents for Product Master data, Product Location Master data and Transportation Lanes.
Question I have (Please answer on any or all of the questions, if you can):
    1. Have you activated change documents on Product Master data? If so, how many products you have in total (number of entries in /SAPAPO/MATKEY)?
Have you turned it off later due to performance reasons? Or Storage/hardware constraints?
    2. Do you have the change documents active on Location product master data? How many location products do you have in total (no. of entries in /SAPAPO/MATLOC)?
    3. Transportation lanes - Change documents activated? Does it also say if the external procurement relationship is activated or deactivated and the user who did this and date? How many transportation lanes do you have in total? Is there a possibility to activate the change documents on transportation lanes only for those which are procured from external vendors (not for Stock transfers... only for those arrives in from Suppliers)?
    Thanks,
    Suresh

    Hi Satish,
    Thanks for your reply
    2 more question:
    1. Are you logging the changes to all fields of product/product-location master data? Or you are logging only some of the data like: Product UoM changes / Product Header / etc?
    2. Also, regarding transportation lanes, does it also say who activated or deactivated the external procurement relationship and when?
    Thanks,
    Suresh

  • Transferring Product Master Data Changes From APO to ECC/R/3

Is it possible to transfer product master data changes in APO to ECC via the CIF?  If so, does it require custom coding?

    Hi James,
In all the different clients where APO is being used with ECC systems. ECC system is always the main system (system of record) which contains all the master data and data present in ECC supposed to be the reference for APO system for planning purpose.
Generally it is not recommended to transfer master data from APO to ECC but as mentioned earlier by some experts you may have ways to do that.
I would be interested in the business scenario where one needs to transfer master data from APO to ECC.
    Thanks,
    Anupam

  • Can you help me about change data captures in 10.2.0.3

    Hi,
I made research about Change Data Capture and I try to implement it between two databases for two small tables in 10g release 2.MY CDC implementation uses archive logs to replicate data.
Change Data Capture Mode Asynchronous autolog archive mode..It works correctly( except for ddl). Now I have some questions about CDC implementation for large tables.
I have one senario to implement but I do not find exactly how can I do it correctly.
I have one table (name test) that consists of 100 000 000 rows , everyday 1 000 000 transections occurs on this table and I archive the old
data more than one year manually. This table is in the source db.I want to replicate this table by using Change Data Capture to other stage database.
There are some questions about my senario in the following.
1.How can I make the first load operations? (test table has 100 000 000 rows in the source db)
2.In CDC, it uses change table (name test_ch) it consists of extra rows related to opearations for stage table. But, I need the orjinal table (name test) for applicaton works in stage database. How can I move the data from change table (test_ch) to orjinal table (name test) in stage database? (I don't prefer to use view for test table)
3.How can I remove some data from change table(name test_ch) in stage db?It cause problem or not?
4.There is a way to replicate ddl operations between two database?
    5. How can I find the last applied log on stage db in CDC?How can I find archive gap between source db and stage db?
6.How can I make the maintanence of change tables in stage db?

Asynchronous CDC uses Streams to generate the change records. Basically, it is a pre-packaged DML Handler that converts the changes into inserts into the change table. You indicated that you want the changes to be written to the original table, which is the default behavior of Streams replication. That is why I recommended that you use Streams directly.
    <p>
Yes, it is possible to capture changes from a production redo/archive log at another database. This capability is called "downstream" capture in the Streams manuals. You can configure this capability using the MAINTAIN_* procedures in DBMS_STREAMS_ADM package (where * is one of TABLES, SCHEMAS, or GLOBAL depending on the granularity of change capture).
    <p>
A couple of tips for using these procedures for downstream capture:
<br>1) Don't forget to set up log shipping to the downstream capture database. Log shipping is setup exactly the same way for Streams as for Data Guard. Instructions can be found in the Streams Replication Administrator's Guide. This configuration has probably already been done as part of your initial CDC setup.
<br>2) Run the command at the database that will perform the downstream capture. This database can also be the destination (or target) database where the changes are to be applied.
<br>3) Explicitly define the parameters capture_queue_name and apply_queue_name to be the same queue name. Example:
    <br>capture_queue_name=>'STRMADMIN.STREAMS_QUEUE'
    <br>apply_queue_name=>'STRMADMIN.STREAMS_QUEUE'

  • Error in segment COMM_PR_SHTEXT when downloading products from ERP to CRM

    Hi experts
I get below error when downloading materials from ERP to CRM.
"Data for set COMM_PR_SHTEXT may only be changed in the original system Q10CLNT310" But the material and the short texts has been created in ERP, hence I can't change them in CRM. When I look in table COMM_PRODUCT field LOGSYS has value 'Q01CLNT300' which is our ERP system. So as far as I see it, our original system is Q01CLNT300 and not Q10CLNT310 as it says in the errormessage. The result is that the sales org data we are trying to download to CRM are not downloaded.
Can you help me on this one?
    Best regards
    Jørgen Jensen

    Hello Jørgen ,
Q10CLNT310 --> Is this you old ERP system?
One possibility for this error would be some product related tables contain the wrong LOGSYS value i,e Q10CLNT310.
    Also,check LOGSYS for table COMM_PRSHTEXT.
This generally happens when data has been copied by means of client copy , and you do not run txn:BDLS.
In txn:BDLS ,you can change the LOGSYS for a particular table or all relevant tables.
You can execute in in Test mode, to check the affected tables.
    Hope this helps!
    Best Regards,
    Shanthala Kudva.

  • ALE distribution of HR master data to CRM - subtype CELL and MAIL

    Hello,
    Overview/Introduction:
we are using the ALE distribution of HR master data to CRM. The distribution has already been set up and it is running. We know that the infotype communication (0105) is especially distributing the subtypes 0010 (e-Mail) and 0020 (telephone number). This e-Mail address and the telephone number are stored in the business partner in the CRM system.
For this infotype 0105 there are also the subtypes CELL (cell phone) and MAIL (e-Mail address). Unfortunately this cell phone number and the mail address (from subtype MAIL) are not stored at the business partner in CRM.
Our request is on the one hand to store the data from subtype CELL into the field mobile number of the business partner. And on the other hand we want to store the e-mail address of subtype MAIL at the business partner instead of subtype 0010.
For some reason it seems that these requests canu2019t be setup within SAP standard.
So we found SAP note 758426 which suggests to use the BAdI HRALEX_INBOUND and the report RH_ENHANCE_BP_TEMPLATE.
    Problem:
Now the problem is that the BAdI does not get called! The BAdI is active! We tried to set break points -> unfortunately did not stop! And we also implemented an endless loop in the BAdI -> even with this the system did not u2018stopu2019!?
    Any ideas?
    Thank you,
    Roman

    Hi,
First you need to create a distribution model using transaction BD64 : Edit > Model View > create.
Then you will need to maintain fields for description and technical name. In partner box you need to enter the source system (HR) and the target system (FI) in the second field. Then you need to assign a message type and filter settings if you need it. You need to create this distribution model in source system (HR).
After, still in BD64, go to environment > change partner profile or transaction WE20
Select your target system and enter the corresponding message type ( HRMD_A or HRMD_ABA depends on your scenario) with the correct customizing (receiver port, packet size, idoc type, syntax check and output mode).
Then please do the same things in your source system using WE20 for your source system and define your inbound parameters (Process code HRMD, processing by function module : use trigger immediately if it is not a production system or else trigger by background program and this case you will need to run report RBDAPP01 to process Idocs).
Once done, then go back to your model view in your source system (BD64) and go to Environment > generate partner profiles. Then please go to Edit > Model View > distribute
After all these settings done, it should work.
Please also check out documentation :

  • Downloading Pricing condition records for products from ECC to CRM

    Hi All,
I have a requirement where i  need to download condition records for products from ECC to CRM. The Inputs available for me are Product Id or the material number and the Sales org data.Kindly let me know the step by step procedure that i should follow to download the condition records for the products.
Note: 1. The Products are already in the CRM system.
              2. I have downloaded the adapter object "DNL_CUST_CNDALL" already.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Shwetha.

First of check and ensure that if the records are already downloaded. To do so,
    1) Log to ECC system and go to tcode V/06
    2) From here select the condition type you are looking at. Dbl click on the condition type and note down the access seq.
    3) Go to V/07. seelect the access seq you obtained in previous step and dbl click on "Accesses". Here you will come to know the condition table numbers. Note down the table numbers. (example: 002, 567)
Understand at this juncture that tables from 1-500 are SAP Standard tables and 501 - 999 are customer specific tables.
    1) Log to CRM system and go to se16
    2) Type CNCCRMPR002 or CNCCRMPR567 and Choose F4 from keyboard.
    3) you should find an entry which looks like CNCCRMPRSAP002 or CNCCRMPRCUS567.
    4) query the table with input parameters like Product or Sales Org. YOu should find the records.
If you fail in step 3, it means that the table itself has not come to CRM. For this do DNL_CUST_CNDALL with OPEN client (go to SCC4 and there Dbl clik on your client. There "NO CHANGES ALLOWED" should not have been selected. If it is so, consult your basis team and explain that DNL_CUST_CNDALL should be done on open client.(Repeat this even if you have already done that)
If you fail in step4, try downloading DNL_COND_A*** adapter Objects. *** stands for the ECC condition table captured from ECC (step3)
If you still are unable to find the record in the database table level, Check for the log in SLG1 tcode in CRM system. This gives you an idea of what's wrong.
Note: Even if you maintain conditions via Product master, ultimateley it gets stored in A* tables in ECC and CNCCRMPR* tables in CRM. So the above procedure holds good for whatever the case might be.
    Hope this helps
    Regds,
    Raghu

  • Number range for Technical Master Data in CRM

    Dear CRM experts,
I am just wondering, do we need to maintain number range for both the product type "Material" and also "IS-U Premises" (Object: ISU_TMPVST) for Technical Master Data (Connection Object and Point of Delivery) in CRM??? That will be 2 sets of number range, am i correct?
Would appreciate your reply and points will be rewarded. Thanks!!

    Hi Kevin,
    Thanks a lot for reply.
Our requirement and priority is to avoid redundancy of data. Due to this, we wanted to replicate minimum data to CRM system from ISU.
I went through some of the notes on market place where it is mentioned that replication of technical master data is not mandatory. We have ISU and CRM RFC connection already established, still I'm not able to view ISU technical
    master objects in CRM.
Having said that, I wanted to know, if we do not replicate the technical master data (Connection Object, Premise and Device data) to CRM, can we still carry out the ISU functionalities through webclient interface? Or, am I missing any further configuration settings, to make use of technical master data in WebClient screen.
    Please advise.
    Regards,
    MV
