Product change problem dates CRM-ISU

Hello experts,
We have a problem here with the producto change functionality. I will try to explain the problem
As many of you already know, when you execute a product change from CRM, the old position date get expired and the new position start date begins the next day. The data is replicated to ISU and the EVERH is updated (old position date e.g expired 13.08.2009 ). After that, in ISU the information is sent to the distribution company to accept the modification. Once the information is back from the distribution company, the new position is created in the EVERH (e.g start date 23.08.2009) and replicated to CRM.
The problem is that the distribution company takes, for instace, 10 days to give the information back to ISU and therefore a gap date comes up between the end date of the old position (e.g 13.08.2009)and the date that the new position is activated (e.g 23.08.2009). Many errors occurs in ISU due to this gap date
We would like to avoid the date update in ISU when the data comes from CRM, to keep the old position date open in ISU until the activation is accepted. Somebody knows how could I manage not to send the old date to ISU in CRM?

How do you do this change in CRM? Do you do a move-out? When the distribution company confirms do you create a move-in?
Here I´m talking about a product change in CRM. The contract is the same for both positions, only the product is chaged. So there is no move-out for the contract. The flow is as follows:
CRM Product change - ISU EVERH table update (only old position with expired date) - Distribution company confirs modification - ISU EVERH table update (new position for the same contract) - CRM new position activation update

       Please follow the below steps fro change pointers.
    1.      In the Implementation Guide (IMG, transaction SALE), choose Modeling and Implementing ® Master Data Distribution ®Replication of Modified Data ® Activate Change Pointers ‑ Generally.
    2.      Set the activation status Activate Change Pointers ‑ Generally, and save your entry (i.e BD61 Activate Change Pointers ).
    3.      Choose the activity Activate Change Pointers for Message Types like ORDERS.
    4.      Set the active indicator for the message type .
    5.      Save your entries.

    Hi,
    There is an old contract item for which  I need to change the end date
    and there is a new contract item for which I need to change the start date.
    I need to change the contract item end date and start date using some function module in IS-U system (may be as RFC to CRM).Pleaselet me know if any body is ware of this functionality?
    I am aware of a FM EECRM_CONTRACT_DATE_CHANGE which may be used for changing End Date
    but how to change the start date of a new contract item?
    Please let me know if any body is aware of this?

  • Product sales area data missing in crm

    I'm currently having a problem with some of the products that are being replicated from R/3 to CRM.Product sales data initial synchronization is complete from ecc to r3,user create order is ok in crm.After a period of time,product sales area data missing in crm,we don't know when is lost,the problem is that we can't do an order for several products because there's no data in the sales and distribution tab(Sales Org., Distribution Channel) of the product master in CRM.

    What you can do is,
    Create a request for a material whose Sales Area data is missing in
    CRM , and perform the request load in transaction:R3AR4.
    And please check whether sales area data flows to CRM.
    Put a filter in txn:R3AC1, to download single material or material
    range.And before performing an initial load in txn:R3AS,please make
    sure that sales area data is missing in CRM.Now, perform the initial
    load in txn:R3AS.And please check whether sales area data flows to
    CRM.
    Check the  filter settings in transaction R3AC1 for
    object MATERIAL and please make sure that it would bring down all
    the expected materials from R/3 along with the sales area data. I guess there is some
    filter setting which is blocking it.
    Please check the entries you have maintained in table MVKE - the entries
    for the sales data maintained here must match with the ones maintained in the
    filters.

  • Can I transport changes thru Quality to Production without dropping data?

    Hi,
    I have data on a Quality system which is being used and it has become critical to extent that the Quality system is treated as Production.
    Now, there have been some changes in Development: 5 new key figures and 10 new characteristics. As a result, there have been modifications in the Infosource, update rules, ODS, Multiproviders, etc on Development.
    The plan is to transport these changes on Dev to Production and load data on Production for comparison against the data in Quality.
    (It may sound weird but that is the plan since there are some problems on Development)
    My question:
    Since the changes have to go through Quality to Production, will there be problem on the data on Quality?
    The goal is to freeze the data in Quality. Can the changes go through Quality without the need to drop the data in Quality?
    [Note that the objects are going to Production the first time: we do not overwrite any existing objects on Production]

    Hi,
    You need not do anything special while releasing the request.  If anything needs to be done, Basis should do it.
    For that matter, Basis should be able to copy the  CO and DAT files of a particular released request, to the import queue of any SAP system and import it there.  They would do that using operating system level commands.
    For us lesser folks, ther are above the table methods:-)
    If you go to transaction STMS in the development system and click on the 'red truck' (transport overview) you would be able to see the import queues of the D, Q and P systems.
    You can double-click on each system to see the requests.
    If you have released a change request, it would be exported and available in the import queues of the Q and P systems.
    If the request has been imported the status will show with a 'yellow triangle'.
    If the request is yet to be imported it would show with a 'green square'.
    In a particular import queue, you may choose the request that is not imported and import it into the system.
    Having said all this, it is quite possible that Basis may have configured the transport domain in a different manner.  It is possible that the Quality system is configured for Quality assurance.  That is why it is important to do this in association with the Basis team.

  • Not able to change the data of test data containers in production system

    Dear All,
    We have created eCATT scripts in Development SolMan System and moved the transports to Production SolMan System.  Customer wants to change the data at Test data containers and run the scripts in production system but we are not able to edit the data. 
    May be the reason is SCC4 transaction code has set the below option.
    Changes and transports for client-specific Objects
    u2022 No changes allowed
    Customer doesnu2019t want to change the above option and wanted to change the test data containers to give different datau2019s and run the eCATT scripts.
    Could you please let me know the solution for this?

    eCatt has the feature where you don't need to transport the scripts or test configuration to our target system. We can keep all our scripts and test data in Solman and run this script any other system in your landscape using the System data container and target system.
    Maintain the production as one of the target system in System container in Solman and point that system while running the script. Change the test data in Solman to run this script.

    You can not merge accounts.
    Apps are tied to the Apple ID used to download them, you can not transfer them.

                I am facing problem in Change own data service. I am getting following error while opening the service.
    com.sap.tc.webdynpro.services.exceptions.WDRuntimeException: failed to create or init instance of model 'com.sap.xss.hr.cod.model.CodModel' in scope APPLICATION_SCOPE with instanceId 'null'
    Do I need to configure this service through SPRO under Personal Mangement -> Employee Self Service ->
    Server Specific Settings -> Adress Book -> Who's Who.
    Am I missing any configurational step on R3 side ?

    Hi Abhay,
    You need to upgrade the EA_HR component to SP22. Alo make sure that SAP_HR and EA_HR components are in sync.

  • Deferred task date change problem

    Hi,
    Every user in IDM has a deferred task as shown below. The requirement is to change the 'Date' value to set the time as 23:59:59.00Z.
    At the moment different users have different times set for them. All need to be same as mentioned above. Please assist me in this with a faster way as there are more than 5K users.

    A code in xpress would be of great help.But much more lines of code :-(
    I am not sure if we have any already existing java or need to write
    a new one. So, I think writing a custom workflow will be a good way.I avoid writing XPRESS code unless it is absolutely necessary, so here I cannot help you :-( I think a
    stand-alone Java program of ~20 lines would complete your task.
    Also, task.setStartDate(<the date>); requires a date object. Problem
    here is to set the time to 23:59 for the same date.

  • IPhoto Time/Date Change problem

    There is one particular event in my iPhoto program that registered the wrong date when downloaded.  In trying to change it, the program automatically sets the date about 130 years earlier, regardless of what date I type in.  It only happens with this one file.  I have had to change others and they have worked fine.  Does anyone know how I can fix this problem?  After repeated attempts, I'm back to the 1600s!

    How are you trying to change the date? iPhoto has two methods - "Photos > Adjust Date and Time" and "Photos > Batch Change > Set Date and Time".
    If you not yet have tried "Batch Change", try if that will help, if you use the option "Modify Original File".
    Only "Batch Change" will set all selected photos to the same date and time, with an optional increment. So you to correct the images in groups of photos taken at the same time.

  • Date change problem on 6110 Navigator

    Hi,
    On Sat morning I noticed my phone had not changed date and still showed Fridays date, yet the time was correct. I changed the date to Sat, and again on Sunday I noticed the same thing - still showed Saturdays date. On Monday and other days of the week the date changes correctly to the next day.
    I tried setting the clock to 23h59 on Friday and watched the date change to Saturday correctly. I also tried this with the phone off and it was correct. Yet if I leave it to run its course there is a problem.
    Can't find any help with this on the net and hoping someone else has experienced this and knows how to fix it. I have the latest firmware for this phone.

    Mine is set to off and always has been. I don't know if my network actually broadcasts time / date for update anyway.
    Either way the phone is OFF when the date change is supposed to happen so cannot get incorrect time from network.
    I have also tested with the phone off. i.e. Set time to 23h59 on Friday, switched off phone and when I switched it back on again the date was correct. Don't know what the difference is between this and just leaving it to run as normal. Its all too weird.

  • Capture Change in historical data from ISU to BW

    Hi all,
    When any exceptions (EMMA, Work Item, Work Management Activity) are raised in our ISU system we assign it to different person so that they can start working on it and clear the exceptions. We have custom datasouce build around this process and move all delta exceptions to BW on daily basis.
    Inside the custom extractor in SMOD, we determine a particular person(SAP userid) is attached to which Position in HR organizational assignement(Transaction PPOM) and end up reporting total no of exceptions against a team in BW or third party system. Please note that we don't have SAP HR implemented in our company.
    Now problem is once data is loaded into BW and after that in future if one person  moves from 1 position to another position in ISU, we can't trigger delta as organisational assgignment is totally different process and not integrated to our custom datasource process.This results in wrong reporting done inside BW and also wrong data records sent out to third party from Infospoke.
    Initially I thought of moving master data for userid/position to BW and cross link to this information in update/transfer rule. This will not serve my purpose as during the data load a person is sitting against one position. Once data is loaded, Infospoke is run than this person is moved to different position.
    Has someone come across this scenario ?

    1. Your position data in ISU always reflects the same state
    <b><i>We don't have any control on that - If there are more exceptions sitting against a position than they might move a person to this position to reduce down the number of exceptions.</i></b>
    2. You load the master data along with the transaction data for better reporting
    <b><i>Even if you move "Organisation assignement" data as master data to BW - that is not  going to serve the purpose.</i></b>
    3. You treat the position information as master and not part of text.
    <b><i>That's what we are doing</i></b>
    4. You could look at getting something like position ID or something and then <i>reference it to your transaction data coming in from ISU.
    <b>When data is loaded into BW first time - an exception is assigned to person "P1" in source system. This person is attached to Position "POS1" in source system  - so inside BW we get correct information first time. We run infospoke and send this information to third party. Now after 4 days person "P1" is moved to "POS2" in source system in organisational assignement. This does not trigger delta as this is not related to our process. Even if you move master data information like "userid & position " to BW, this will have latest information "P1 - POS2" in BW. How is that information going to help us as we have already sent this exception with "P1-POS1" to third party.</i></b>

    When I do syntax check in ECC6.0 it's showing the error "w_end_record"  must be Character type(C,N,D,T).The error is due to Unicode.
    I was using the class CL_ABAP_CHAR_UTILITIES but I am not able to find out appropriate attributes for it. Can anybody tell me the solution to resolve the problem.
    Is there any other to solve the problem.

    Before going for any other table,
    As Kalnr is only one of the primary keys of table KEKO, You can try creating secondary index on KEKO, which might help in improving your report performance.
    Also, you can add more conditions in where clause if possible, which will also help in improving performance.
