Profile connect error

my environment: Adobe Flex Builder3 beta, Firefox
preference / flex / installed Flex SDKs: Flex Moxie M2
preference / flex / Profile / Connections: 9999 (default)
preference / flex / Profile / Player Browser : firefox
when i click profile, error message displayed in console:
"socket timeout..."
is "9999" correct? who should listen to that port?

The same problem here - both Mac & PC with default Flash
Player shipped with Flex builder 3, as well as with the latest one.
Moreover I can produce this error message sometimes:
socket timeout...

  • I have a netgear router that I am trying to hook up to my emac and I keep on getting connection errors messages on the emac. why?

I recently received an eMac as a gift from a friend. I am having some problems setting it up. First, for some reason, I cannot get my osX disks to install onto my eMac. the eMac tells me the install disk is not bootable. Why would that be? So, I have os 9.2 installed on the eMac. I have the eMac connected to a netgear router, and when I set up all the ip settings in the eMac, I get connection errors. I do not know why. I can easily hook up any windows computer to a router, but when I try to connect an Apple Computer to a router or an ethernet modem, I always get connection errors. Why? What am I doing wrong? In the Apple System Profiler, the eMac tells me that it cannot identify the router. Why would that be? Do I need a special eMac driver for my netgear router? I have tried to find such a driver, but am having no success. I need help! Can someone please help me? I really want to use this eMac! But if I cannot get it set up for the internet, it is going into the junkyard!  I really don't want that!

Encryption wouldn't matter except for Wifi.
While 10.2 might help, there's not much you can do on the Internet these days with less than 10.4.11
    Tiger Requirements...
To use Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger, your Macintosh needs:
        * A PowerPC G3, G4, or G5 processor
        * Built-in FireWire
        * At least 256 MB of RAM (I recommend 1GB minimum)
        * DVD drive (DVD-ROM), Combo (CD-RW/DVD-ROM) or SuperDrive (DVD-R) for installation
        * At least 3 GB of free disk space; 4 GB if you install the XCode 2 Developer Tools  (I recommend 20GB minimum)

  • Disable/Hide Data connection error pop ups in InfoPath 2010

    Hi All ,
I am trying to hide/Disable Error Messages Shown by data connection error. I do not want user to see the error , rather I would check through rules and query the Data source again.
Is this scenario possible at all.
For ex: I have a data connection to user profile server , if it gives and error on form load , I do not want to see the error popup instead i will query the data connection again.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Nandini

    Hello,
what would you expect to change between the first call to the data connection and the second call?
How would you "check through rules"?
I don't think the error message can be suppressed. If you don't want to query the data connection on form load, untick the box in the data connection settings.
    cheers, teylyn

  • SMuFF1ASDCCN CONNECTION ERROR

when I used tcode SMSY to create a RFC from Solution manager to Target system, the system displayed red light and had a error as follow:
    SDCCN connection error; connect manually
    Message no. SMSY_EDIT_LANDSCAPE154
    Diagnosis
You tried to put the RFC destination SM_SLMCLNT100_BACK in the satellite system in the SAP Solution Data Manager (SDCCN). The action could not be performed.
    Procedure
Put the RFC destination in the SAP Solution Data Manager (SDCCN) satellite system, if necessary.
when I used Tcode SDCCN in satellite system,
    I found a error with
    > error reading function module interface DSWP_API_SESSIONLIST_GET from SM_SLMCLNT100_BACK
    > hostname 'slmprd01' unknown / CPI-C error CM_PRODUCT_SPECIFIC_ERROR.
    > Sessions cannot be refreshed from destination SM_SLMCLNT100_BACK ( SLM , 0020230467 )
Refresh of session overview failed from destination SM_SLMCLNT100_BACK
who did meet this kind of problem?
    waiting for...
    thanks

    Hi
First u maintain the target sytem client user id profile as sap_all,sap_new,s_rfcacl_all.
Then go to the smsy, maintain the rfc connection between solman and satlite system.
RFC destination SM_SLMCLNT100_BACK, it means rfc connection not generated properly, First u delete the rfc conection in u r satlite system useing sm59. Then again try to maintain the connection between the system.
Provide u r mail id i will sent the sddcn docs.
    Feel free to revert back

As you can see, the connection arguments are indicating HOST=SERV-IFV (which is MY client machine - the SERV_DB is the real DB server!!!) and USER=Administrator (this is the user I am logged) when this problem occurs.
There isnt a database on SERV-IFV (thats my client machine), neither is there any mention of it in the tnsnames.ora. TNSNAMES.ORA points to SERV_DB. I don't know where it is getting this stuff from, but its not tnsnames.ora.
I need to find out why:
    ========================
    1. The client disconnects from the server if the application is inactive for a couple of time
    2. When the client tries to re-connect on the database why it uses wrong parameters for HOST and USER.
We created a new system variable called TNS_ADMIN and set TNS_ADMIN=X:\*oracle_location*\network\admin to be sure the right tnsnames.ora is being used.
We are analyzing the firewall to realize if the firewall is terminating the connections or not.
Please, do you have any other suggestions? Where I can find more information about this error?
I tried ALL Oracle searches but could not find anything. I tried Google but did not find any solution for this problem.
    Please, is urgent.
    Many thanks,
    Chris

Could you post the entire stack of errors? Do you have a profile assigned to a user that has a fixed 'idle_time' resource?
For example, on my test system, I have only a default profile.
    SQL> select resource_name,limit
      2  from dba_profiles
      3  where profile='DEFAULT'
      4  and resource_name like 'IDLE%';
    RESOURCE_NAME                    LIMIT
    IDLE_TIME                        UNLIMITED

  • When I attempt to export/import via FTP for OOTP 11 I get a connectivity error message

I participate in OOTP ver 11 fantasy baseball leagues which uses FTP to export and import league databases. For some reason, I have been unable to import/export using FTP. Each time I attempt to export/import I get a connectivity error message stating "am unable to connect". I have not had this problem with the previous versions of OOTP Fantasy Baseball. Plus, when I first upgraded to OOTP 11, I did not have this problem.

  • It says connection error when I try to log in

When I try to log in to icloud it says connection error...why?

On my HTC Android phone, if I get that sort of problem, I simply delete all of the "remembered" BT Wifi profiles, and that fixes the problem.
The Android devices seem to get confused when there are multiple entries, with the same SSID, even though the BSSID (MAC address) is different.
Other device may also have this problem.
There are some useful help pages here, for BT Broadband customers only, on my personal website.

    Bluetooth DUN not connected, when I try to connect or set up bluetooth device, a network connection error comes up;

Anyone have any idea what this mean?

Are you SURE you got the model with the optional BlueTooth module? Does Apple System profiler show it there (on the USB sub-page) ?

  • AD MA Large Group (9000+ users) export failing due to connectivity timeout:: cd-connectivity-error

I am currently implementing FIM 2010 in a test environemnt. I have MAs connected to the FIM Portal, an Oracle view, AD, and eDirectory 8.8SP6. All agents are working fine, users attribute flow is working great to all connected systems and groups are flowing
into the MV without issue. I have a few criteria-based groups in the FIM portal that I am synchronizing to AD. All but one of those groups is synchronizing correctly. The failing group contains by far the most members of any group I've attempted to export
so far, numbering around 9000 members. The only error I receive on an export run on the AD MA is "cd-connectivity-error" for the group object itself and the agent shows a run status of "dropped-connection." Event Viewer simply shows:
The management agent "Test Active Directory MA" failed on run profile "Export" because of connectivity issues.
    Additional Information
    Discovery Errors : "0"
    Synchronization Errors : "0"
    Metaverse Retry Errors : "0"
    Export Errors : "1"
    Warnings : "0"
    User Action
View the management agent run history for details.
While 9000 members in a group is not insubstantial I can't help but feel like this should work. Are there configuration changes I need to make to AD in order to allow a longer timeout on the connection itself? I have tried increasing the timeout on the export
run profile without success. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
    ~Jeff

@Evgeniy Oddly enough, that is exactly the timeout change I made - 300 seconds. I am currently populating the group throung the FIM Portal. It's a criteria-based group. Basically I am taking every employee status type (we have ~12 of them) and I am creating
sub-groups for each. The largest one of these is the one I'm timing out on. The second largest one has ~2500 members and functions as expected. If I need to change this to provision with .dll code I certainly can - I was just hoping to provide some transparency
for our support staff and my fellow admins on these groups.
@Carol Good idea. I will do just that. I have 2 DC's isolated in a site with an exorbitantly high site link cost specifically to service our LDAP clients and other back end services. Those 2 DC's also happen to host the majority of our FSMO roles here as
well. I'll hardocde the link to one of those DC's and report back.
As a secondary question, would it be better perhaps if I simply used set transitions on the user accounts to individually add them to these groups? I don't plan on using employee status for any other functions beyond this one so it seems like it may be more
complicated to go that route but it may also be more stable.
Thanks for all the great replies! I'll keep you posted.

  • Nokia E71 Mail for exchange "Connection Error. Try...

    Hi
I have used /Nokia E71 with latest MfE, i got my details from my Employers Microsoft outlook 2007 like exchnage server, domain and user name.
I just want to synchronise E-mails, whenever i try to synchronise i get "Connection Error. try Later".
Please help me , i am just stuck on that,

Try following the below steps and let me know if we still have the problem.
Choose Yes to create a profile.
    Enter these items
E-mail address - e-mail address of your exchange server
Domain - Domain name of your exchange server - Your Exchange Administrator can provide this information
    Username  - Domain username
    Password - email password
Access point  - choose the connection you are using.  Most likely this is your data plan cellular connection
The Exchange Server will be discovered and populated for you automatically in most cases.  If the Exchange server is not discovered, select the Exchange Server field and enter your server information given to you by your email administrator.
Verify the Secure connection is set to Yes.   Change to No only if your Exchange Administrator dictates the change.  The wrong value will make the connection fail.
    Press Options
    Select Save
From here you can verify if all is setup correctly by watching the Current status.
    Press Options
    Select Exit
    Thanks

  • V3.1 Profile Validation Error!

    Hello everyone
So I got to the point where I want to start do some live streaming through ustream.
I basically used the guide: http://gamedrone.net/2010/05/17/streaming-game-footage-on-ustream/ but disregarded the audio.
Im using VHSCRAP to capture my screen along with FMLE 3.1 to encode my stream, and I had to download the xml file from my ustream show to setup the necessary configuration to send my streamin media to ustream channel.
But here is the problem, when I start up FMLE, i see that it recognize the screen capture, and next I open up the xml file which i downloaded from my ustream profile, but it then gives me Profile Validation Error!
I've been trying to search for any answers but none of them have the appropiate follow through with my issue.
some advice would be appreciated plz.

A window pops up saying giving me

  • N-gage Activation Connection Error

    Hi people,
I have a problem activating Asphalt 3treet Rules which was included in the packaging with the Nokia N96.
I would start the game, type the code in (I know the first character is the number zero), the screen would go black for a while then "Connection error occurred" would pop up with 2 numbers (sometimes changes).
I have tried using wi-fi, and connecting with Vodafone, it just doesnt seem to connect, does anyone know why?
    Thanks.

Check that you have in the phone the correct access points defined for Vodafone
(make sure they match your prepaid or postpaid subscription).
Then make also sure that in the N-Gage application under My Profile and the
connection settings there, you have also selected the correct access point.
If necessary, you could remove/delete access points you don't need (e.g., if
you have a prepaid SIM, delete the postpaid access point).
Also, latest N-Gage application version is on http://n-gage.mobi/d

    Hi,
can you elaborate a bit more on this: +"I try pushing in an external task flow call as a dialog then I get weird database connection errors."+
There is a known issue with passivation when a database bound application calls an unbound task flow (or vice versa - don't have the bug report open). This reported bug got fixed for JDeveloper 11g. However, if your application does not use ADF BC at all (just the mockup) then this might be something different. Dependent on the pain it causes on your side you can send me a reproducible testcase (which is indication low pain on your side) or contact customer support (if this hinders you from proceeding with your task). My mail address is in my OTN profile. Make sure the attachement is in a ZIP where you rename ".zip" to ".unzip". I would then try and run it against 11.1.14 and if it still reproduces file a bug
