Profilers disabled in my project

Hi
I'm using jdev 10.1.3.0.4. I want to make an execution profile on my application, but the Run->Execution profile <projectname> is disabled aswell as my other profiler menuitems. If I create a new project the menu items are enabled. If have checked my project settings for my current project and the new dummy project and they seem to be identical.
How du I enable the profiling menu items?

Make sure that your project compiler settings is using OJVM.

It might be because of duplicate RES_OPTINDX values. Please install following KB and check the behaviour.

Programmatic read access to (conditional disable) symbols in project

Hi,
I'm wondering if there's a way to achieve programmatic way to achieve a read access to the symbols defined within a project apart from the conditional disable structure? I have tried access via VI server, but haven't succeeded
For me, it would be a nice way of passing certain enviroment settings....

Unfortunately there is no other way to access the symbols via VI server. It is not possible to edit these symbols at runtime in general, which would not make sense, because these symbols are ment to give the user the opportunity to do conditional compiling, and so the state of these symbols needs to be set BEFORE the VI is compiled/started.
You could accress the value of these symbols, by reading the .lvproj File directly. The .lvproj files are XML-Files, and there is a item called
<Property Name="CCSymbols" Type="Str"> .XXX.</Property> in the XML File. The XXX stands for the name and value of a symbol.
You could use File I/O functions to access these values.

IMovie 10.0.3 on OSX 10.9.4 speed controls disabled on new projects

Hi,
Since iMovie 10.0.3 / OS X 10.9.4, the speed controls are disabled / greyed out for all clips added to new projects.
However, I can still use the speed function on existing projects created prior the upgrade.
Video Clips were shot with iPhone 5 and are imported from iPhoto.
Do anyone experience the same issue ?
And is there a workaround to this problem ?

I found a workaround for this issue, but it's neither convenient nor elegant. You have to duplicate and old project, created prior the last OS X update or prior the iMovie 10.0.3 or 10.0.4 upgrade, and remove all clips off the duplicated project, and there you have a clean project were all clips you'll add will be speed controls capable.

Any way to Disable "Save As Project"??

I bet the answer is no. However, I have always loved having the
ability to Save "SONGS" and not be forced to Save a
"PROJECT". I'm a very organized file saver and have never
had a problem making sub-folders within song folders for
storing audio files separately, reason files, etc.
It's just kind of annoying now that I can't even open my
Autoload, whoops...i mean Template, without having to Save
as Project before I even record a single note. Is there
any workaround to this to get Logic to behave like it used to
with SONGS? Thanks so much in advance.

The anser is YES, you still can save your song in the old "Song" format instead of the "Project" format.
When you click Save make sure you uncheck the "+Include Assets+" checkbox at the bottom of the file selector box. The new file will have the same icon and extension but it behaves like the original non_Project Song in Logic 7.

The detailed distinction between Song and Project was kind of obscure in Logic 7 and it is still not very transparent in Logic8, they just swapped the default behavior: L7 used Song and you could choose Project as an option. NetBeans 6.1 Compile F9 Disable for existing project

About the documentation, thank to give me the link. However, they explain how to use the former version of Netbeans IDE. I use last version, 6.1 and so there is some change. (no need to do anything, plugin included in ide, not the same visualisation, etc...)
Thank also Saiesh123 for your comment. This work great and the access time are quite similar to BPE.
I still got some bug that i've report to netbeans:
- When I open/download a repository object, i always have this error:
A java.lang.NullPointerException exception has occurred.
I can bypass it simply by closing the xml tab then editing it again one or two times.
The other problem i had with browsing seams to be resolved: When you click a XML object in project and open it in editor, the component are showed in the navigator window. However, this is sad you cannot browse referenced field in other library like we do on BPE. Also, you don't have the preconfigurated user friendly interface for editing forms.

Disable field Project ID in CJ20N

I want to disable the field Project ID in CJ20N.
But It should allow this field while creating a project id.
But once project is created it should not allowed to change the project id (project definition).

Your Concern:

Solution:
               There are two kinda project
                                    1. Time dependent project
                                    2. Status Dependent Project (Versions)
You can have diffrent version for project . That is the reason why the PS_PID field(project defnition is not grayed ourt when you open the project).
Lets take a example
1. CJ20N --> create a project "Proj1" with "standard project profile" --> Release and save it.
2. Open "PROJ1" and change its name to "PROJ2" and save it.
3. Now try creating project "PROJ1" in CJ20N. It throws an message "Project PROJ1 version RELEASED already exists" (Interesting isn't it?)
Now qs in your mind then since its existing let me open it. You try opening it, you get a message "PROJ1" does not exist.
4. Go to transaction OPTS and double click on version profile, you see Project Def. is attached to std profile.
5. Go to Tr. code OPSA --> double click on standard profile -> Under "control tab", delete the third field data i.e. version profile(not recommended, but for R & D you can delete and reneter it later) and save it.
6. Repeat step 1, 2 and 3 i.e--> create proj PROJ10 --> release save it.
                                      --> open proj10 --> change it to --> Proj11
                                      --> try creating PROJ10 and you see the diffrence.
I believe you are convinced, if not then follow the note.

Missing Renderer - GPU Acceleration Disabled

Hi.
I've been having a problem with premiere lately. When I create new project, the render settings are set for CUDA GPU acceleration. I have no issues while editing the project or when rendering preview files. However, once I save the project, quit premiere, and then later re-open the project, I am presented with the dialog "Missing Renderer" - "This project was last used with Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration, CUDA, which is either not available, or not certified on this system. Mercury Playback Engine Software Only will be used."
After this message, my timeline opens completely unrendered. I've attempted to change the project setting and reselect GPU Acceleration as the renderer, but the dropdown box is disabled in the project settings menu.
Can anyone help me with this issue?
Computer Specs:
Intel Core i7-3537U
8GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 710M with 1GB Dedicated RAM

Do you have dual graphics adapters?
Go to the Windows Control Panel and select Hardware and Sound and then select Device Manager... In Device manager you click the + sign to the left of Display Adapters... and see if 2 are listed

Project Site Permissions Being Overwritten

Hi there!
We're on Project Server 2010.
We've been having an ongoing struggle with custom Project Site permissions being overwritten from time to time. We've unchecked the auto sync for Project Site Permissions. I believe that's working well. I suspect where our troubles
come from are the PSI. Calling QueuePublish through the PSI is the only way I've been able to replicate the issue. However, we've been unable to find out what is making this call. For example, Our tier 1 support person will
see all is well with a Project Site's custom permissions late in the afternoon. But the next day the permissions will have been overwritten and it seems everyone in the Project Managers group and Web Administrators have been added back to the site.
I can even see in the ULS logs where it appears the Publish occured, but unable to identify what called it.
I also attempted the steps in this article ( http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh670402(v=office.14).aspx ) to disable synchronization for Project Sites (DisablePWS = 2) with no success. Even when I use DisableAll (4) the user sync fires when
the QueuePublish is used through the PSI. This would be a great solution if I can get it to work.
Has anyone had success completely eliminating PWA to Project Site permission syncs? Either through identifying what jobs may trigger a full publish or by making the sync change detailed in the article I linked?

Itunes edit payment final click button disabled

Sorry if this is a duplicate, please close it then.
Before you ask: I'm from germany using a german itunes on a macbook pro 15", snow leopard, latest updates (yesterday).
I've been trying to change my payment method from credit card to click and buy.
Every time after I've run through the activation procedure, i.e
being forwarded to the click and buy page
logging in
enabling permission for itunes
being redirected into itunes
itunes displaying "Sie haben Ihr Click And Buy Konto mit Erfolg validiert" (translates to: "You have successfully validated your click and buy account")
the final "OK" (in german it display the label "Fertig") button looked disabled.
So I thought I'd be OK, and everytime I tried to buy somethiong it showed me that I'd not entered a valid payment method.
BUT: The above mentioned button only _looks_ disabled, it's not!
So when I clicked it, it stored my account data.
Just letting you know that this has been _very annoying_, keeping me frustrated, and thinking about using something else to buy my music.
Sorry to bother anyway.
So if anyone is experiencing the same thing, first try to press the buttons anyway, ignore when it's displayed like it is disabled ;-)

I'm quite confused. If the project manager creates a project and assign resources to it, it means that he is actually editing the project. Thus it is normal that the "edit" button is greyed out. Here is screenshots below.
Project ribbon: note that the edit button is disabled since the project is checked out. Consequently the buttons save and close are available.
Task ribbon: note that the edit button is also disabled since the project is checked out. Consequently the buttons save, publish and close are available.
In case I misunderstood your question, please provide more details.

Including customized fields in Field selection for Project definition

I have created additional zfields in Project definition,
But those fields are not coming in customization node " Field selection for Project Definition".
Is there any way , by which we can include those fields in the list of " Field selection for Project Definition" in customization ,
so that i can hide/disable for diff project Profile.

Hi,
actually one can try to add customer fields to field configuration using transaction SFAW alike SAP own fields.
It is usually possible to extend the list of the modifiable fields of the field selection in transaction SFAW within the framework of a
modification (as long as the fields are relative to tables PRPS or PROJ). The relevant module pool is SAPLCJWB.
Example
E.g. for the SAP field 'functional area' (field PRPS-FUNC_AREA) one would proceed as follows:
In the transaction SFAW, Module pool SAPLCJWB, Screen group PRPS
-Select 'Modified fields', and choose 'Change'.
-Enhance the list of the modifiable fields by the following entries :
PRPS-FUNC_AREA. Answer yes to the question : do you want the field to
be modifiable?.
Don't forget to save and then click on the 'generate button' of the
transaction SFAW.
- The relevant field for distribution profile would be PRPS-PGPRF.
In the same manner one can try to add the Z field.
Please note: This procedure is considered as a modification, so please review note
114390 which discusses a problem which can occur during an upgrade.

I want to enable / disable menu items based on the permissions to the user.

Based on the permission, I want to dynamically enable / disable the "New Project" button.

Further update on this, it is giving the following error while running of the application:
"TypeError: Error #1089: assignment to list with more than one item is not supported"

Currently we are working on a J2EE project on which we have established the split-development environment. In this environment we have few UI web sub-projects. These projects are bundled as a one UI project at the time of deploying the application.
For Example UI proj Structure is as below

Can i update flex 4.6 sdk to flash builder 4.5 for php ?

i already downloaded the 4.6SDK from http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/entitlement/index.cfm?e=flexsdk site but once i add the new sdk to flash builder and try to make a new project
i cannot switch to design mode at all , gives me and erro rmessage: The Design mode is disabled as the project uses incompatible version of the flex SDK.
What's the deal ?

If you're using components specific to the Flex 4.6 release, then it would be a natural assumption that design view will not work. If you're having this issue while using components that are not unique to Flex 4.6, then I don't have an answer. On a good note, design view is completely useless anyway. It's much faster to type than to drag stuff around with your mouse needlessly.

How do I enable MallocDebug and Shark

Ok,
This is probably one of those "are you really that dense?" questions. But I have to ask. I have been using instruments with my iPhone app and they work fine. I would like to use MallocDebug and Shark but both those options are disabled in my project. How do I enable those options.
