Program to maintain the selevtion variables

Hi All,
I maintain the variables in TVARV table where i need to maintain the condition low high for the variable which programme will maintain it.
regards
sai

Hi,
While maintaining the TVARV, using Tcode STVARV you will get two tabs.(Parameters,Selection Options).
If you want to specify any conditions like BT,LE,GE etc you can use the tab: selection options and give the values for Name, Option, Lower limit, Higher limit etc.
Regards,
Ashok

  • Change in one vairable  is not reflected in the other  variable

    Question/ Objective / Doubt:
    during the execution of the program ,change in the member/variable of the class is not reflected in the other variable which is the dependent variable of the previous one;
    Program / code:
    class Simple {
         static int [][] valOne;
         static int [][] valTwo; //values depends on ?a? values
         // static int [][] valTwo=Library.different(valOne);  this doesn't work
         // static { valTwo=Library.different(ValOne); } // this doesn't fulfill what i expect
         Simple(int a[][]){
           valOne=a;
           ValTwo=Library.different(a); //say some static method
         void change(int r,int c,int n){
           //one of the ValOne is changed
           valOne[r][c]=n;
    class Library{
         static int [][]different(int num[][]){
              //some computations
              return intArr;//returns a values with respect to the incoming variable
    Description / Explanation:
    during execution:
    when change method is invoked to change valOne ; I want this change to be reflected in valTwo But this does not happen.....as valTwo in initialised only in the constructor
    My Try / My Effort:
    // static int [][] valTwo=Library.different(valOne); //this doesn't fulfill
    // static { valTwo=Library.different(valOne); } // this doesn't fulfill
    i declared variable as static so that this would solve the problem..
    sorry if there any wrong in naming convention...

  • Where can I find the "Shared Variable Properties" VI to be used in my program for configuring SV remotely?

    I was using the "configure Alarms" and "configure Logging" VIs to design two user interfaces to make use of these VIs when I came across a problem.  In both VIs you can enable logging of alarms.  So which one is valid?  Which one has priority?  Then I looked at the "Shared Variable Properties" built into the project explorer.  Now I realize that I am spending all of this time redesigning this properties dialog (which also has two options of enabling logging of alarms (on the Alarms tab to the far right side as well as on the Logging tab).  So now my question is, how do I access this "Shared Variable Properties" dialog through my program (Note: this would be on a different machine than where the shared variables are set up.  The point is to configure shared variables remotely).
    Thanks
    Matt

    Here is a VI I re-created and posted for all.  I'm not sure why NI doesn't provide their VI to the developer.  The only thing I can't figure out is that when reading in the "Ack Type" into a variable, it generates an error.  It will work if you go into "project explorer" and right click on the library with the shared variable and "deploy" but eventually stops working.  I have tried using the "undeploy library" and "deploy library" to see if this would be a work around but had no success.
    Just pipe the path of the shared variable into the vi.

  • How toStore the Date Variable and pass it when the program runs next time??

    HI All,
    My JDBC program basically needs two command line args. Rabge_Start_Dt and Range_End_Dt. for ex:
    2001-05-31 and 2001-06-01 . And my porgram should run every day. Next day the date range will be 2001-06-01 to some date. It means I have to store some how the range_end_dt and pass it as range_start_dt when my program runs the next day.
    Problem:
    How can I store the Data variable and pass it as an argument to my porgram when It runs next time. Every time my pogram runs It should pick the range start_dt (==range_end_dt of the previuos run) and end_dt I have to go and query some other data base and pass that value to it.
    Thanks in advance!!!!

    save the value in a file, then read it back in each day. Similar to when a process needs a PID.

  • Maintain the variants for the deletion program first

    Hello Experts,
    When i am trying to archive documents through SARA Transaction, am getting the following error  "Maintain the variants for the deletion program first".
    Awaiting your early reply..

    You get this message because there is a new program being used for this archive object.  In addtion to adding a comment to the default variant, it would be wise to test the program in your QA system and review OSS for any updates.

  • Trying to understand the PATH variable

    Greetings,
    I read that the PATH variable specifies a set of directories where executable programs are located. But if I use "echo $PATH" in Terminal to view the directories, it does not list the Applications folder or the Downloads folder or any of the other places I have programs. So how to they run?
    Thanks

    The PATH variable is a list of search paths used by a particular shell. Basically, when you enter a command in a command-line context (such as from within Terminal.app), the unix system will search for executables in all of the folders listed in the PATH variable, running the first it finds.
    Apps that are run from the GUI are launched by the launch services daemon, which takes care of all the details of locating and loading executable. Launch services maintains a database of app locations, so it wouldn't need to search along unix PATHs to find what it needs.
