Project-wise cash Flow

Respected Guru's,
There is a requirement of project wise Cost flow here. So, Please suggest what are the attributes needed to get on the same? And, what are the reports needed to analyze upon? Any documentary will be of great help.
Please Suggest...
Regards,
Ankur

Can you please tell me what are the values which are needed to be fetched?
This depends on your requirement.
And what are the useful T-codes for the same?
I would suggest you to run the standard reports available in PS and filter out the values that you need to develop this report. As such you wont  require major help from Fi person. You should be able to fetch all the values from RPSCO table. You might have to input the object number for WBS/activity respectively to fetch the required values. Then you can filter out the values based on value type. If required you can ask your FI consultant to guide you.

  • Microsoft Project 2013 Cash Flow Reports

Whilst I read many positive comments regarding the enhancements to Microsoft Project 2013.  I can't help but find myself frustrated that simple processes seem to have disappeared!  All I want to do is access a Cash Flow Report that will tell
me how much cash is required every week.  In Microsoft Project 2010 this was a simple matter of running a Cash Flow Report and reading the requirements from an easy to view table structure.  Select the Project Tab / Reports / Costs / Cash Flow.
Using Microsoft Project 2013 I get a lovely looking chart to view but really no useful information to view!  Can anyone help please, surely there must be an easy way of doing this in 2013?  Am I missing something?

Thanks for replying.  I'm trying to use the View Reports function. Report Tab / View Reports Group / Costs / Cash Flow. Didn't really want to go out to Excel.  Its complicated, we actually use MSP 2010.  However I am evaluating MSP2013 in
a Virtual Computer Window on the same computer.  Am unable to run Visual Reports as there is some problem I dont understand "Building Local OLAP Cubes" which stops Excel form generating the Visual Report.
Back to the problem, I cannot see the purpose of the MSP 2013 Cash Flow Report if all the report gives you is Name, Remaining Cost, Actual Cost, Cost, ACWP, etc.  I dont think that really provides useful Cash Flow indicators.

  • Project cash flow in PS

Which tables do we need to refer to get actual bank payments made against a project. In SAP PS the project cash flow reports are showing payment documents created which may not necessarily be paid. I want to know the entire link of tables which stores this data. while making an APP run or manual payment run a clearing document gets created linking the original invoice doc. this clearing doc is proof of payment made. where can i capture this clearing doc?

    Hi,
You can use Project Cash Managment to carry out Cash flow anaysis. Project Cash Management enables you to look at project-related payment flows by supplying information on the timing of payments into and out of your project. It also plans and monitors the payment flow from the project point of view.

Alternatively you can go to transaction as mentioned in the path below.

  • Cash Inflows and Outflows- company code wise, project wise etc.

    Hi Gurus,
Client's requirement says they need cash inflows and cash outflows related to a company code, project wise etc. for a specified period.
What needs to be done for this requirement? Do we have to implement Cash Management and liquidity forecasting module to fulfill this requirement???
    Please revert asap.
    Thank You

    Hi
You need to setup the cash journal configuration where cash inflows and outflows will be recorded.
    The path is as follows:
    SPRO>Financial Accounting>Bank Accounting>Business Transactions>Cash Journal
Hope it will solve your problem.

  • Project Cash Flow report

    Hi,
I have searched in SCN but not found any solution on this.
We have activated Project Cash Management and project cash mgt doc creating in FI doc.
Can anybody provide some highlights to the following with respect project cash flow.
Our requirement is to create project cash flow report in a specific format as below.
Is there any standard Project cash Flow report available?
What are the steps to get a Project cash Flow report?
Can I do this with report painter? If yes, let me know the tables to refer.
    Regards
    SMP

I guess standard SAP doesn't have any pre-defined cashflow report for project. However this can be achieved through custom development or through report painter by referring table COFP.
Line item report (project payment line item) can be viewed through CJIA report. You may get more information on project cash management by going through below link.

    Hello,
Create a form using FSI4 - Refer standard forms available in FSI5 and FSI6.
Create a report by using FSI1 (assign the form that you have created FSI4) - Refer standard reports available in FSI2 and FSI3.
Please make sure that you have completed your Financial Statement Version in all respects, before designing your cash flow statement. OB58.
Cash Flow Statement (Indirect Method) Variant 1 and Variant 2, please note that these reports are coming from the form 0SAPRATIO-03 Cash flow (indirect) (Refer T code FSI5) and Reports 0SAPRATIO-03 Cash flow (indirect method) variant 1 (Refer Tcode FSI2) & 0SAPRATIO-01 Cash flow (indirect method) variant 2 (Refer T code FSI2)
    0SAPRATIO-04 Cash flow (direct) Form
    0SAPRATIO-04 Cash flow (direct method)
You should know what format you would like to see in the cash flow statement.
You should use the FS items accordingly copy the standard forms and changed according to your format.
You should be conversant enough to do basic report painter.
Pelase let me know if you need further help.

  • Accounts Receivable and collections report project-wise

    Dear all,
My client wants accounts receivable and collections reports project wise. are there any reports in PS which satify this requirements. If no, pls suggest me how to cater to this requirement.
Pls help me on this issue.
Thank you very much in advance.
    Regards,
    Vishnu.

    Hi,
If your cash flow scenario is very complex with partial payments, deferred debt, down payments etc., none of the standard reports including FBL5N / FBL1N will be helpful. If the scenario is fairly simple , FBL5N / FBL1N  should work for you.
In a complex scenario, you may have develop your own reports based on the basic logic of FBL5N.

  • A report to view the cash flow from Purchase Orders.

    Hi All,
Could anyone suggest me a report to view the cash flow (financial obligations) which comes from Purchase Orders?
    Thanks
    Gandalf

    Hi,
You will have to activate basic cash management (part of FSCM) and use TCode FF7B (liquidity forecast). What the report would do is, based on the delivery date of the purchase order and the payment terms of the vendor (plus some grace days for clearing the payment as per configuration) determine the date of expected payments and project the cash (and bank) balance by days/week or months.
Alternatively you can write your own ABAP code which will do the same thing.
    a. Take a list of all open POs and determine the delivery date (EKKO and EKPO)
    b. Add the payment terms as per purchase order to the delivery date
    c. Compute the cost of the purchase order item
    d. Display the report which projects expected payments by date

  • How to change Due date in Cash flow (yet to post) lines in a contract.

    Hello All,
I have a requirement where i want to change the due date of cash flow line items of a contract. I am able to do that in RECN transaction, by clicking on the date field and change the date. Here i am looking for a BAPI or function module using which i can update the date of cash flow items. Can anybody help me in doing this.
    Thanks,
    Bala.

    Hi Bala,
we had a similar requirement during the initial implementation project.
We have used BADI_RECD_CASHFLOW for this purpose. We have used both Methods - CHANGE_CASHFLOW_OBJ and CHANGE_CASHFLOW_PAY in such a way (for the last one):
      LOOP AT ct_pay ASSIGNING <ls_cashflow_pa>
                 WHERE ( cfstatus = 'P'              ) AND
                       ( origflowtype IS NOT INITIAL ) .
        IF <<condition>>.
          <ls_cashflow_pa>-dfaell = ....
        ENDIF.
      ENDLOOP.

  • Forecasting of cash flows

    Hello SDN,
I want to  forecast the following payments through the use of Cash managment and liquidity forcasting mechanisms of SAP
    1) Accounts receivable payable during next week
    2) Loans (short term and long term) repayable (instalment) during next week
    3) LCs payable during next week
4)Money receivable during next week on account of LC
Can you tell me  whether this is possible and how this can be done
    Regards,

    Hi Rishikesh,
Cash Flow configurations need to be done as follows: (Report T-code FF7A
    I. Determine which GL accounts you need to pull in Cash flow- Configurations required for all these accounts at step 2, 3 and 5 below.
II. Determine Structure : ie, grouping and headings etc of the Cash Flow - Configurations required defined in step 1 and 4 below.
    Details of configuration :
    1. Define Cash Flow groupings and Headers in t-code OT 18
    2. Define Selection for groupings in t-code OT17.
    For each grouping -
Keep one entry with Type as E and Selection as ++, Sum Term ++. This will pull all sub accounts defined.
Also define each account by using type G and account number in Selection and Sum Term as Name of GL account/ Bank name.
    3. All accounts that you defined at 2 in OT17 also need to be defined at T-code OT16 - company code wise.
    4. Other config required : Please refer building blocks documentation. - Define Source Symbols, Define planning levels, Define Planning groups.
Most of this will have been configured if you have used building blocks, but please check the same to configure as per your requirements.
SPRO path -> Financial Supply Chain Management->Cash and Liqudity Management->Cash Management-> Basic Settings---
    5. Most important config, is that for all accounts you plan to pull on your Cash Flow, the fields for Cash management have to be made available for GL account master.
i.e. while defining account groups for Gl in SPRO, the field status for group 'Bank / financial details' all fields, should be 'Opt entry'.
If this is accidently suppress or display only, you will not be able to pull the account number in Cash flow statement.
Once this field is available for input, in Gl master data on T-code FS00-> create/ bank /interest tab-> bank/ financial details in company code tab..planning level that you configured in step 4 above, needs to be entered. Also Relevant to cash flow needs to be checked.
Configuration for FF7B, i.e Liquidity forecast is similar.
All the T-codes mentioned as well as spro path is relevant to SAP ECC6.0 ver. I think the IMG path is different in earlier versions. but you should get that in the relevant building blocks document.
Also this configuration does not apply if you are using Financial statement version INT.
    Hope this information helps.
    Thanks,
    Uma

  • Distribution of planned cost of activity and its linked to PS cash flow

    Dear PS Gurus
Kindly tell us how to distribute my planned cost (in result of internal, external activities ) should be equally distributed in the over planning period of activity (Say six months) and  also it should  have linked to my cash flow  also.so that by fund get adjusted .
For Eg My activity A has planned cost 1,20,000 /-  which is going to complete in  6 Months  .Hence my planned cost should be distributed 20,000 / month and that should be reflects in cash flow.
    Regards
    Project Team 1

    Hi,
You can distribute your planned costs at activity level based on the distributionkey you specified. The distribution is done for the entire duration of activity depending on the Dist key you select. If you do not put any Dist key, then the costs would be distributed equally across the entire duration of activity. If you want to have equal distribution of costs, you can use DK- SAP020 which distributes on earliest dates of activity using Factory calender. If you want you can also define your own DK in SPRO under: Production->capacity requirements planning->operations->capacity requirements->distribution.
    Hope this clarifies..
    Best regards..
