Cash Inflows and Outflows- company code wise, project wise etc.

Hi Gurus,
Client's requirement says they need cash inflows and cash outflows related to a company code, project wise etc. for a specified period.
What needs to be done for this requirement? Do we have to implement Cash Management and liquidity forecasting module to fulfill this requirement???
Please revert asap.
Thank You

Hi
You need to setup the cash journal configuration where cash inflows and outflows will be recorded.
The path is as follows:
SPRO>Financial Accounting>Bank Accounting>Business Transactions>Cash Journal
Hope it will solve your problem.

    Hi,
Mainly inflow and outflow is using in inventory only. So take the inventory live scenario and understand the logic. Pay some passion to read the below doc. Coz it will explain the complete design of the inventory.

  • The ability to measure cash in and outflows based on the Profit Centers

    Hi,
As you may be aware, we are currently undertaking a global project to split our Balance Sheet based on the divisional structure (Profit Centres in SAP).  The splitting of Receivables and Payables by Profit Centre. We have an additional requirement in the area of cash flow. What is required is the ability to measure cash in and outflows based on the profit centre that the movement relates to.
Please help me on the above issue.

Ok closing based on my research
It is often not possible to set the size of a buffer so that it never becomes full. Above a certain size, which is greatly dependent on the hardware and the operating system, the performance advantage of the buffer is canceled out by increased operating system paging. A buffer that occupies too much main memory forces the operating system to perform expensive paging.

  • Non cumulative key figure is not getting filled based on inflow and outflow

    hi,
i have a non cumulative key figure which is having inflow and outflow.
i have these three info objects in dso.
as i know non *** key figure is calculated based on inflow and outflow.
i am getting values for inflow and outflow so non *** should be calculated based on this values.
<b>but the collumn is blank in the dso</b>
in that non *** keyfigure i have added two info objects in inflow and outflow.
is there any other setting i nedd to do?
    please sugest me.
    its urgent

    Hi Venkat,
Have you followed the process right. First Filling the Initial Stocks and then Inflow and Out Flow and then Delta. If you follow the process correctly then you can able to view the Data in the Reporting Level.
For Initial Stocks the Marker Should be set. For Inflow and Outflow the Marker should not be set.
    Hope This Helps,

  • Non-cumulative Inflow and Outflow explanation

    Hello Everyone,
We are just implementing Inventory reporting in BW and cannot understand query results.  We have searched the forums and documenation, but cannot find an answer.
We have a Non-*** Key Figure that we have defined an Inflow and Outflow for (in the aggregation tab).  Can someone please explain in detail how this Non-*** will be calculated with Inflow and Outflow.
The Non-*** has Aggregation of SUM and exception of LAST
Here are our results (and the Inflow and Outflow KF's are ***)
We have a test query showing the KF for Inflow, KF for Outflow and KF for the Non-*** value.
    The Inflow KF shows 26320
    The Outflow KF shows 12428
The Non-*** KF (with the 2 above Inflow/Outflow) shows 66002
We thought this Non-*** would be calculated as Inflow (minus) Outflow.  So the total of the Non-*** we were expecting 13892.
How does this Non-*** work with Inflow/Outflow?  We can't find anything on this.
    Thanks so much,
    CM

  • What is inflow and outflow?

    What is inflow and outflow?

    hi,
for example u take stocks in the godown
what r material coming in to the godown is infow
what r the material going out is outflow
so total stock of the material can br found out based on inflow and outflow
this behavior is mainly seen in inventory management
There are two ways of implementing Non cumulative Key figure...inflow outflow is one way of doing that...mainly used in inventory scenario...take an example...you have issued stock and received stock data coming from R/3...in report you need current stock based on key date ( That may be current date ) so u cant directly subtract the two values and cumulate them because its Non cumulative KF and aggregated in different way.....
To implement this we create infoObject for current stock and check the third option in infoObject " Inflow Outflow" and there u will specify Inflow = received qty and Outflow = Issued qty so this infoObject will always contain difference of these two
current stock = received - issued
Also you initialize the current stock with some value initially

  • TR cash payment from another company code than MM transaction

    Hello -
We are setting up our interest rate instrument under Money market .The cash payment will always be made from our concentration bank account regardless on what company code the underlying interest instrument is set up on. The BP is authorzied under the company code the interest rate is created without the house bank information as it relates - as mentioend -  to a different company code.
Also, on TBB1 should be posting an intercompany entry with the cash outflow going to one company code and the treasury posting to the other company code. currenctly, by Tbb1 entries are all trying to post to the company code the debt is on.
    thanks for your input.

    Hi,
I assume you may need to set up a clearing account for each company code and from that at FI level you can run Bank Reconcilation against multiple Cocd. At treasury level, always the posting is generated against respective Cocd.

  • How is workflow assigned to positions and particular company code / plants

    Hi Everyone,
We have updated a system with a new company code and corresponding new plants for profit center update. Now, they want the workflow handling of INVOIC, DESADV and ORDRSP to still be maintained. There is an existing workflow for error handling on these messages for the  old company code and plants. The workflow items are sent to certain positions maintained in PPOM. Now, I am requested to create new positions that will receive the notifications for errors on incoming invoices, order responses and dispatch advices for the new company code/plants. Creating new positions and assigning agents to them is quite easy but my problem is where to specify the information about the company code and plants. For the existing positions, only the Basic data tab is maintained where only an abrreviation of the position and its definition need to be entered.
Right now, the workflow items for the new company code and plants are directed to a position that already exists in PPOM before the project. So how can I have the workflow items be directed to a new position that I will create?
I hope someone can provide an answer to this. Thanks!

    Hello
Are the workflows custom or standard ones?
You need to check the workflow definition as to how they are designed to get the Positions and then change accordingly. The email task may be assigned to positions directly, or there is some custom code or a Workflow Rule.....First get to the agent determination (by going to Workflow Definition) and then you may change the "logic" for positions.

  • Display Costs on Accounting Tab in Company Code (object / Project) curerncy

    Hello Forum Experts,
We have this major issue whereas teh costs on the Accounting Tab are shown in Controlling Area Currency.
It seems this is the standard cProjects behaviour.
What changes / enhancement do we have to implement to ensure that the costs are shown in company Code Currency.
For example: Controlling Area Currency is USD.
There is a branch of teh company operating in Gemany - it has its own company Code. So they create projects in Germany and would expect to plan and see teh costs in cProjects in Euros instead of USD's.
How can we solev this problem. It is quite amjor and most probably the foreign comapies will not use the system as it amkes no sense to them to plan / see costs in another cuurency than their own...
    Thank you,
    LT

    Hi LT,
The costing in cProjects is always carried out in Controlling Area currency.
Make modifications in the following Class to display the costing in cProjects in Company Code Currency  :
    1) Class: CL_GUI_EASY_COST_PLANNING
    Method: CONSTRUCTOR
Here set Object currency "1" as Default .
    2) Class CL_R3_OLR3_INTERNAL_ORDER
    Method GET_REPORTING_DATA

  • RA15 and cross company code processing

We are using RA method 15 and have some projects that have account assignment WBS elements from other company codes than the billing WBS element. RA ignores figures from WBS elements with different company codes, hence recording COS in the company code of the account assignment WBS and Revenue (via RA) in the billing WBS element. Instead we would like have all revenue and COS calculated in RA on the billing element based on the incurred costs regardless of the company code in the account assignment WBS element. SAP OSS is suggesting that note 819760 may accomplish this. Does anyone have experience with this note.
We do not want to settle WBS elements within the hierarchy or create multiple billing elements.

    Alex
    Thanks for the update.

  • Vendor Company Code and PO Company Code Different

    HI All,
There is a central purch org for all comp code. Whenever we create a vendor we have to enter comp code, pur org and account grp. Suppose I create a vendor for Company Code "X" and another vendor for Company Code "Y". Pur Org will be same i.e. central pur org. Now I am creating a PO for Comp Code "X" but using vendor with Comp Code "Y". System is allowing me to create a PO in this way. I want the system should not allow me to create a PO in this way.
Even I have checked the message MEPO038, but I could not find this message
I am able to see the message ME038 is this the same.
Is it possible to advice me some user exits as well.
    Thank you.
    hani

    Hi,
IF the vendor not created for that company code the system will throw error .this is the std functionality. In your case the vendor would have maintained for the both company code thats why it is allowing .
if you want to make MEPO038 as error message Create new entries as below
OLME ---Environmet data -- Attribute of system message click new entries
    versio :00
    App:MEPO
    mess:038
    cate: E
if you want use user exit try following
    1.EXIT_SAPMM06E_012
    2.BADI : ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST
    method :Process_header  or Check

  • Delimiting Cost Centre and Delimiting Company Code

    Hi Team,
    There is a business scenario I want to discuss and get your opinions;
A Country's Currency is changing from 01012009; I am getting stuck when I reach the cost Centres.
When i come to Cost Centre, is there a way where I can modify the Currency in the cost Centre and retain the earlier record delimited. If this is not possible then I guess the only other way os to create new cost cnetres with similar master data with new currency getting defaulted from the Company code table and assigning them accordingly. Am I right ?
A quick response will be highly appreciated.
    Thanks,
