Proxy Error in Sender System

Hello,
we have a scanerio which sends proxy message from ECC to PI system. It has been working fine since last 6 years. Since last few days, it has started coming up with following error in ECC system. Its happening in DEV system and is working ok in prod. I compared DEV and Prod but could not find any difference in proxy code/structure etc. Does anyone please help me on this??? Thanks in advance!

Hello Dehra,
It seems ECC is receiving response which is not as per expectation / fault message is not handle.
Please check with SOAP team (web service), what is response they are sending? is structure of SOAP response is same as structure created in PI? It looks error at web service side.

    Hi Sushil,
My first post pointed to that problem:
"Also, your SXMB_ADM in application system should be configured as 'application system' and the corresponding Integration server config is 'dest://<http destination pointing to XI Server>'.".
Cheers, now that the problem is solved.

  • Inbound Proxy Error in Target System

    Hi
My scenario ís MQ>XI>SAp R/3. I am successfully able to pick file from MQ and I see the success flag in SXMB_MONI(XI) and XI sends to SAP R/3 via Inbound proxy.
But on recieving system (R/3) via proxy the data is not recieved correctly.
I see Failure message with error in R/3 SXMB_MONI and the error is as follows.
I guess my Mapping is correct as it passes trhough XI successfully. Is something wrong with the Inbound proxy?
Kindly let me know your views on the same going through the error message I am unable to interpret anything. As the date format which I am recieving is correct.

    Hi,
When u define ur Data type (Messageinterface) dataelement as xsd:Date it is of the format CCYY-MM-DD. (ex 2003-12-31). So yyyyMMdd is not compatable with the ABAP data type that has been generated at the proxy end.
Make sure dats-8 and xsd:Date use the same Date format. This might be the error that i can see.

    Hi Sudharshan,
<i>>>> First check the RFC Destination SAPSLDAPI in ur application system and check if SLD of XI is running fine.</i>.
This RFC Destination in Application System is working & SLD of XI is running fine.
<i>>>>Have u pointed to the SLD of XI in transaction SLDAPICUST of application system. It should point to XI SLD. Make sure that u give the host, port, user, password(XI's) correctly there.</i>
It is pointing to SLD of XI & the user I am using is XIAPPLUSER.
<i>>>>Check whether u are executing the proxy in the right client, which is configured as Business system in SLD of XI.</i>
Yes, I am executing proxy in right client which I have defined in SLD as Business Syetem. I am using ECC 5.0 as Sender system.
<i>>>>Also in SXMB_ADM of the application system, check if u have maintained a HTTP Destination to XI and it tests fine.</i>
Yes, I have maintained HTTP destination in Application system & it is also working fine.

  • IDOC sender: Error in Logical system name?

    Hi,
In my current project, the IDOC sender system logical name is P2PCLNT100 but the SLD system name is P2P.
Its an IDOC to proxy scenario. At the receiver system side, the schemeAgencyID is getting populated at P2P and not P2PCLNT100, due to which there is an error on the receiver's side.
    Following is already checked:
    1. SLD has maintained the proper logical system name for the P2P system
    2. The IDOC xml on the XI system has the sender port properly populated as P2PCLNT100
    3. I have also debugged the program on the receiver side and fails at a point where it checks the logical system name from the database BBP_BACKEND_DEST.
On the receiver system, the followed error is shown as follows:
    - <STANDARD>
      <CONTROLLER />
<FAULT_TEXT>An error occured within an XI interface: SLD system P2P is not known Programm: SAPLBBP_BD_MAPPING_SAPXML1; Include: LBBP_BD_MAPPING_SAPXML1F1Y; Line: 96</FAULT_TEXT>
      <FAULT_URL />
      <FAULT_DETAIL />
      </STANDARD>
Thanks in advance for the useful answers.

    Hi,
    1. R/3 system's logical system name and SLD business system's logical system name has the same.
Is there a need to have the business system name in SLD to have the same name as R/3 system logical name?? As far as my knowledge goes, business system and logical system need not have the same name. Correct me if in the case IDOC sender scenario is different..
    2. SLDCHECK shows following message:
Summary: Connection to SLD does not work
The issue still persists. Will SLDCHECK correct solve the issue?

  • Error while sending mail from SAP system

can any one please help on this
    Thanks,
    Narendar.

    Hello Priyanka,
Actually, I performed the following two steps in order to solve the issue:
    - In transaction SICF, the node for SAPConnect must be active. In our system, this node was in inactive state. Hence I activated it.
    - Then In transaction SCOT-> Settings menu--> default domain should be 'xyz.com' if the email addresses in your company are maintained with a suffix  xyz.com.
But for me the problem didnt get solved here..
The problem that i am facing now is that if in my user profile, I have the email address maintained, then i get an error saying 'Sender address rejected'. However, if i goto transaction SU01 and clear the email id, the mail is successfully sent to outer world.
You can try the above mentioned two steps using SICF and SCOT. If the problem does not get solved then try clearing the mail id in ur user profile.
Hope this helps. If you find an answer to the problem of the mail id getting cleared, then please let me know..

    Himanshu

  • IDOC: Status (Error/Success/information)report to Sender system

How would one send a message(error/success/information) to the sending(external) system to inform them of the statuses of the messages they've sent to our SAP system?

    Hi Baumann,
you have an option called Audit reporting in which you can have the status of idoc at sender side.read the following.
    Setting Up Audit Reporting
In the default behavior, after an IDoc is dispatched to a destination system, the sender does not know the state of the process on the destination system. You can configure the system, however, for cross-system reporting. You must model the ALEAUD message between the systems.
    Two programs enable cross-system reporting.
1)RBDSTATE. This program is scheduled to run periodically on the destination system. It reports the status of incoming IDocs to the sending system, using the ALEAUD message and ALEAUD01 IDoc. This status information is recorded separately from IDoc status information in the audit logs.
2)RBDAUD01. This program is executed on the sending system. It analyzes the audit log and displays the output as a report.
The RBDSTATE program returns the following statuses, from the receiving to the sending system.
RBDSTATE Is Run on the Receiving System
Status of IDoc in receiving system     Status reported to sending system via ALEAUD
53 (Application document posted.)     41 (Application document created in receiving system.)
51 (Error: Application document not posted.)     Status 39 (IDoc is in the receiving system.) This status is repeated each time RBDSTATE is run, as long as the IDoc remains in status 51.
68 (Error: No further processing.)     40 (Application document not created in receiving system.)

  • Sender System Error Handling

    Dear Experts .
Is there a way to send a notification per Sender System Name when Errors occur ?
    Thanks ,
    NC.

    Update :
    I tried Following the B1iSNGuide05.pdf.
I'll try to elaborate my problem.
I have a F.AnySystem object as described in the file 2 db pdf.
I've created an object that creates Sap B1 8.8 Sales Draft from an xml provided by my BP.
sometimes the xml wouldn't go through due to various reasons (itemcode no valid , currency not updated etc etc.)
I've tried assigning an error action after configuring the Cfg EA: SendEmail, and Configuration of the Error Action QueueBlockerAlert
i've also configured : Configuration of email channel, used for all B1iSN Actions , and performed a test mail that was received properly.
After configuring the above I tried configuring the Assign Error Actions,
but I wasn't sure which settings are the right ones.
On Phase I tried Inbound Database Phase
    Task : EASection_Add_when01
    Sender System :0010000105_XMLTest (0010000105)
reciever system would stay :n.a when i click on the (...) button to the right. I tried inserting * on the rest of the settings but that didn't help with getting an error notification when it occurred .
If anyone could shade some light , give an example , I would appreciate it.
    Thanks ,
    NC.

  • Regarding Error: Unable to Convert Sender System to ALE Logical System

    Hi friends,
in File to IDoc scenario, i created a sender business system called bs_filetoidoc_send based on Standalone technical system and a receiver business system based on ABAP r/3 system. in my SAP IDES system which is dual stack (abap+java), XI client is 001 (LS: devclnt001) and r/3 client is 800 (LS: t90clnt090) i.e i'm posting idoc to t90clnt090.
I tried to send a text file. but while processing xml message in XI, i got an error saying "Unable to Convert Sender System to ALE Logical System".
then i searched the blogs and forum and found the solution. it was saying LS name was not assigned to BS bs_filetoidoc_send. so i went to SLD and tried to assign LS devclnt001 to my sender BS  bs_filetoidoc_send, but got an error saying that "A business system with LS devclnt001 already exists". when i checked which is that BS, it is supposed to be the INTEGRATION SERVER itself with BS name INTEGRATION_SERVER_DEV.
then i configured my sender BS as INTEGRATION_SERVER_DEV itself which picked up the text file successfully and also receiver abap server received the IDOC with correct data and format with status 51. so scenario worked fine when i used my sender BS as INTEGRATION SERVER itself.
please clear my following doubts which arose after this scenario.
    1) why the scenario didn't work when I used only standalone sender business system?
    2) why should we assign a LS name of XI server to sender business system only in this scenario?
scenario worked according to my requirement, but using integration server itself as a sender BS confused though.
    Many Thanks.

    1) I can create any no of LS names using SALE
    Yes you can create.
    > 2) But I can assign a client to any one of those LS names (or 1 client will have only one LS name associated with it)
One Client will have one LS associated to it...and that can be any one of the LS..created.. use SCC4 to find the associated Ls for all the clients of a system
    3) So anyways INTEGRATION_SERVER_DEV has to associated with the client 001 only, so finally I have to use  INTEGRATION_SERVER_DEV only as my sender BS. Probleum is that I can't remove the LS name DEVCLNT001 from INTEGRATION_SERVER_DEV and assign it to bs_filetoidoc_send BS right. If I do so, I think I would get an error saying that INTEGRATION_SERVER_DEV is not associated with the LS name of client 001.
As the logical system defined in Partner profile is expected to arrive in Control record of IDoc..it should be passed in that...
Did u checked this blog../people/rajeshkumar.pasupula/blog/2009/03/16/unable-to-convert-the-sender-service-to-an-ale-logical-system so as per you need the explaination in the blog need to associate the logical system name .

  • ABAP Proxy does not send data to XI system.

I have a very simple program to test an ABAP Proxy:
    REPORT  Z_TEST_PERSON_OB.
DATA prxy TYPE REF TO Z996CO_PERSON_OB2.
    CREATE OBJECT prxy.
    DATA person TYPE Z996PERSON_MT  .
    *TRY.
    person-person_mt-first_name = 'Ken and Kenneth'.
    person-person_mt-Series = 'The Fast Show'.
person-person_mt-motto = 'Ooh, suit you Sir!'.
    CALL METHOD prxy->execute_asynchronous
    EXPORTING
    output = person.
    commit work.
I removed any exception handling to see if it would dump. Nothing. Seems to work fine, but no data appears in the XI Integration Engine monitor. I checked the scenario in XI and tested it; again, seems to work fine.
Could I have missed something in setting up the system? Any pointers highly appreciated.
    BR,
    Tony.

Try the Message Monitoring -> Messages from component 'Proxy Runtime <...>'.
That's where I found my Messages back (Status: To Be Delivered...)
If this is the case, probably your Proxy Runtime does send the messages to the Integration Engine.
    Check the queues:
Transaction SXMB_ADM on the Business system (the system that sends the Proxy)
Integration Engine > Administration > Manage Queues
    All queues should be checked
Click ‘Register Queues’. Status bar should display a ‘Success message’.
Click ‘Activate Queues’. Status bar should display a ‘Success message’.
If it still does not work, maybe the is no connection between Integration Builder and Runtime Workbench.
Check SM59 on your ECC-business system (the system that sends the Proxy). It should have the Connection INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI (type H). If not, this is the problem.
    Create a new connection INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI, type H.
    Tab Technical settings:
    Target Host is your XI-host
Service No. 5xx00 (xx is the instance number of your XI-system)
Path Prefix is "/dir/hmi_cache_refresh_service/ext" (without quotes)
    Tab Logon & Security
    Logon Procedure is "Basic Authentication"
    Logon using XIISUSER (or PIISUSER)
    Tab special Options
Specify timeout: set to 900 msec.
    Compression Status should be 'inactive'
    Compressed response: No
    Accept Cookies: Yes (all)
Save configuration and test connection. Popup about cookies appears. Check the "Accept All Further Cookies"option.
The response should have HTTP/1.1 200 OK in the first line of the response header.
Now your Proxy Runtime should be able to connect the Integration Engine.

Hi this is what the solution given by your link
A.1.6 Connection Timeouts Through a Stateful Firewall Affect System Performance
    Problem
To improve performance the mod_oc4j component in each Oracle HTTP Server process maintains open TCP connections to the AJP port within each OC4J instance it sends requests to.
In situations where a firewall exists between OHS and OC4J, packages sent via AJP are rejected if the connections can be idle for periods in excess of the inactivity timeout of stateful firewalls.
However, the AJP socket is not closed; as long as the socket remains open, the worker thread is tied to it and is never returned to the thread pool. OC4J will continue to create more threads, and will eventually exhaust system resources.
    Solution
The OHS TCP connection must be kept "alive" to avoid firewall timeout issues. This can be accomplished using a combination of OC4J configuration parameters and Apache runtime properties.
Set the following parameters in the httpd.conf or mod_oc4j.conf configuration files. Note that the value of Oc4jConnTimeout sets the length of inactivity, in seconds, before the session is considered inactive.
    Oc4jUserKeepalive on
    Oc4jConnTimeout 12000 (or a similar value)
Also set the following AJP property at OC4J startup to enable OC4J to close AJP sockets in the event that a connection between OHS and OC4J is dropped due to a firewall timeout:
    ajp.keepalive=true
    For example:
    java -Dajp.keepalive=true -jar oc4j.jar
Please tell me where or which file i should put the option
    java -Dajp.keepalive=true -jar oc4j.jar ??????/

  • XI 2.0 Java Proxy error

    Hi All,
I am receiving the following error:
RFC_ADAPTER.JCO_RUNTIME_EXCEPTION:System error when calling the outbound RFC adapter (cannot deserialize JCo request from XML)
The message I'm sending is synchronous coming from a Java Webapp and requesting infomation from R/3.
There are two pieces to the interface I have created.  The first is calling a function which validates a few fields then returns 'return codes'.  The second will create a sales order and return a few numbers.  They are built into the same interface and use message splitting based on an input field.  The verification piece is working which tells me that this is not a problem with the actual RFC adapter but when I run the 'create sales order' function I receive the aforementioned error.
    n e thoughts?

Hi Stefan, thx for the reply.
I am running the latest version of the function.  I do have one date field in the RFC structure, the rest are strings.  The data going into that date field is being mapped from a string field in the sent message.  This shouldn't be a problem (I don't believe) I have done this in many other interfaces.
I noticed that in my xi monitor (SXMB_MONI) under the column labeled 'Outbound' the acronym 'RFC' shows up for my failing message.  When I send a message through the other java proxy interface that works I get nothing in the column.  I'm not sure if this means n e thing but I thought I would through that in.
I've also set up my scenario changing from synchronous to asynchronous and using the file adapter and it seems to make it through, minus the error on the return message.
.. I forgot to mention that there have not been any changes to the RFC adapter configuration.  ... and I have restarted it to see if that would make a difference.  It did not.
    n e other ideas?
