I'm trying yo sync my phone but my device is not listed in iTunes. I've followed all of the suggestions in Apple support but when I plug it in to my computer a warning that my Apple Mobile Device is not tuned on. Please help.
I'm trying to sync my phone but for some odd reason it's not listed in devices in iTunes. I've followed all of Apple Support recomendations to no avail. Could it be a new security app I imnstalled today. Please help and thanks in advance.

If you still cannot restart it, check this Apple support document, http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1567 if that doesn't work, then you may need to uninstall iTunes and reinstall it. Follow the instructions in this support document to remove them from Windows XP http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1925

I've been deleting information I don't want in the "Sort..." fields (like getting rid of "Deluxe Edition" markers, etc.), but when I plug my iPod into my computer iTunes repopulates the fields I deleted. This only happens for a few artists, and it's the same artists every time this happens. How do I stop it from doing that? It makes it measurably harder for me to control the organization of my library.

Just bought a new Ipod Nano, 6th generation, was tryin to following directions on syncing, when I plug it in too my computer,
it doesnt give me any directions on syncing or connecting to my computer, can someone please help me??There should be an option (on the left hand side of your iTunes) for your iPod. Then when you click on it you will just need to setup and there will be an option to sync at the bottom right hand corner

Are you getting any sort of blue screen when the PC restarts? If so, what numerical and textual codes are you getting for it?
(For example: STOP 0x00000023 FAT_FILE_SYSTEM)
If the blue screen also mentions a specific file, let us know what the file is called. (Precise spelling please. Include filename extensions like .sys or .dll ... for example, "atiduag.dll".) -

My MacBook Pro will not startup. Its not responding at all. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can correct this?

First, make sure it it shut down by holding down the power button for 5-10 seconds. Plug in the power adapter. Press the power button and hold down the shift key to see if you can start in Safe Mode.
If the power adapter and/or battery are known good, the next thing I'd check would be the RAM to make sure it is securely seated. If batt and/or power adapter are questionable, then you'll want to find one or both and try them out; if you don't know someone with a similar MBP, this might be most easily accomplished by making a free appointment at an Apple Store "genius" bar. -
Was working fine for years until virus scan today. It will pull up the site, but not allow me to access my personal home page. Running XP on one laptop and Vista on the other. Same problem with both machines after running scan. Only problem appears to be accessing my home page on excite.com. Have enabled both cookies and java script as well as clearing cache.
Can access excite home page on both IE and Chrome.Thanks for the suggestion.Working my way through, but no success yet. excite.com comes up but as soon as I click on "sign in", I get the error screen even though I have enabled cookies and java script.
