Proxy Rotator

In my bash scripts I am able to cycle through proxies with something simple like:
for line in $(cat $PROXY)
do
export http_proxy="http://$line"
However, this type of loop will freeze the script if any of the proxies go off. Is there a proxy rotator program that will cycle through a list of proxies and keep switching to one with the best latency/one that isn't broken and then set it system wide?
I know there are proxy checker programs like proxy tester and libraries like libproxy and libwpad, but I'm not sure how to integrate them into my scripts.

rodyaj wrote:However, this type of loop will freeze the script if any of the proxies go off.
I don't see how the lines you've quoted would freeze the script in any way. You're just exporting a particular value after all.
You probably mean that one of the (unshown) lines further down in the script which actually uses the proxy 'freezes' the script, probably due to some timeout. Just test the proxy using some resource (like the proxy tester you've referred to) before running your actual task, and skip past that proxy if its not working.

  • Unable to write/rotate 'WLLogFile' from Apache's Piped 'rotatelog' feature

    Hi,
    I have a Apache.2.2.22 in web-tier and WebLogic-10.3.5 in app-tier. I'm using Apache's piped logfile feature to rotate log files every night and is working fine as expected for "Access_Log", "Error_Log", "SSL_Request_Log" - but not for WebLogic-Proxy-Log (WLLogfile).
    I'm not sure whether WebLogic Module supports this feature or not.... please let me know if any way to rotate WL-Proxy logs every day by using Apache's 'rotatelog' feature.
    Below are my settings.
    LoadModule weblogic_module modules/mod_wl_22.so
    <IfModule mod_weblogic.c>
    KeepAliveEnabled ON
    KeepAliveSecs 120
    SecureProxy ON
    TrustedCAFile /cust/apache-2.2.22/ssl/certificate.crt
    Debug ALL
    WLLogFile "|/cust/apache-2.2.22/bin/rotatelogs /tmp/wl-proxy.log.%Y%m%d 86400 -480"
    RequireSSLHostMatch false
    WLIOTimeOutSecs 600
    Idempotent OFF
    </Ifmodule>
    Same 'rotatelogs' syntax (Below) are working fine for Access/Error/SSL Logs.
    ErrorLog "|/cust/apache-2.2.22/bin/rotatelogs /cust/apache-2.2.22/logs/error.log.%Y%m%d 86400 -480"
    CustomLog "|/cust/apache-2.2.22/bin/rotatelogs /cust/apache-2.2.22/logs/access.log.%Y%m%d 86400 -480" combined
    Any idea to rotate 'WLLogFile' logs would be highly appreciated.
    If you also observe the log location of 'WLLogFile' and 'Access.log'; WLLogFile is set to write in /tmp/ directory whereas other logs have been set to write under /cust/... directory.
    The reason is, when Apache starts up it tries to create/write WL-Proxy file with 'daemon' user group and other log files like "access.log", "error.log", "ssl_request.log" are being created with 'root' user group. If we manually create a file under /cust/... and give write permission to other group, then logs will be writing up here.
    Any idea why this file is being creating/writing as 'daemon' ?? Is there any way to come across this issue?
    I don't want to use /tmp directory to write logs, because it has very less space.
    I do understand its not best practice to manually create/rotate WL-proxy file and give permissions permissions every time under /cust/...
    Please suggest on above issues.....
    Thanks!!!

    Its not possible to rotate 'WLLogfile' using Apache's piped log rotation. I have raised an case with Oracle support team and they recommended to disable 'WLLogFile' in Prod.
    Below is an update from Oracle Support Team -
    ==================================
    To answer your query,
    - WLLogFile is part of the plugin and not WLS itself. Log rotation (WLProxyLog is not possible at the plugin level from WLS.
    This query was also raised with WLS engineering in the past and they have confirmed that log rotation is not possible at the plugin level, it is only possible at the WLS level(server level).
    Added Info:
    More importantly, In production, you should not have the WLProxyLog enabled.
    I donot think there is any way to rotate WLLogFile. However, will discuss it internally and update you once we have more findings.
    Its always recommended not to enable Debug or WLProxyLog in production unless and untill its highly required as to some issues encounters and you need to resolve or find root cause for the issue.
    Simple reason, Logging will very huge and unnecessary logging are captured which would occupy more physical space and might further lead to performance issues / OOM issue on the long run.
    Its Oracle's recommendation not to enable debug or WLProxyLog in production until its required as stated above.
    Hope this explains.
    Many Thanks,
    Oracle Support Team
    ===================================
    In this case, either we have to disable Weblogic Proxy logs or needs to use Linux log rotation feature where in requires restart of Apache at the time of log rotation.
    Thanks

  • InDesign CS4 rotated graphic content offsets

    Has anyone noticed problems with the xy co-ordinates of graphics within picture boxes when they're rotated?
    I've asked Adobe Support about this, and uploaded a test file for them to look at but not had a meaningful response.
    Firstly, my page crosshairs are correctly set at x=0mm and y=0mm.
    If I draw a rectangle box anywhere on the page (the box position is irrelevant) and place a picture in it then select the content, the content co-ordinates are correctly displayed at x=0mm and y=0mm. BUT if I then ROTATE this box by, say 3 degrees, the content rotates with the box as expected and its position within the box doesn't change, but the content co-ordinates change to x=0mm and y=2.564mm. The graphic has NOT moved on the y axis, so why the apparent offset?
    If I rotate the box by -3 degrees the same problem occurs - but this time, the y co-ordinate stays the same and the x co-ordinate changes: x=3.297mm and y=0mm. Yet the graphic APPEARS to be at x=0mm and y=0mm.
    I'd be most grateful if anyone could shed any light on this please - it is maddening! BTW, I upgraded straight from CS2 (where the content measurements displayed correctly as x=0mm and y=0mm whatever the box rotation) to CS4.
    Many thanks
    Rosie

    Was that box 49 x 65 mm?
    There is sort of logic behind this. If you copy the picture "out" of the box (using the white arrow to select it) and then paste it again, so it appears into a
    i new
    box, this one is rotated as well. Depending on the direction of the rotation (and perhaps the selected proxy point), the top left coordinate
    i has
    to move -- either vertically or horizontally --, away from the 'edge' of the picture. If it did not, the picture would shear instead, angling horizontally and staying upright or the other way around.
    The internal transformation of objects was changed for CS3, and this might just be that change: objects
    i inside
    are transformed along with their container.

  • MP Rotation Untrusted Forest.

    Hi,
    I realize you cannot force a client to use a particular MP, which is creating a design problem for us.
    We have multiple DMZs in an untrusted forest.
    I am not sure how to get around this problem.
    The clients cannot communicate with an MP outside of that DMZ.
    If I have 20 DMZs, and a MP in each, will this not create an MP rotation issue at some point?
    I came across this posting by Anoop, is the only workaround?
    http://anoopcnair.com/2014/04/11/workaround-sccm-2012-clients-mp-selection-rotation-issue-untrusted-dmz-forests/
    Appreciate any suggestions.

    Is there a single, shared forest (or domain) for all DMZ or a separate forests (or domains) for each DMZ?
    The workaround describe in that blog post is for the perception of a bug, not for providing for MP selection.
    Yes, MP rotation could cause an issue -- 20 MPs aren't supported within a single primary site either so you are also running into a support limitation.
    Depending upon your answer to the forest question, LocationAware is probably the only answer today (without doing something crazy like using multiple primary sites).
    Reverse proxy is another possible solution. This would enable a single MP (or sets of central MPs) to be accessed in a protected manner.

  • Object Rotate Axis Point

    Re InDesign CS5, is there any way to fix a general preference to make objects rotate on their central point rather than, say for example, the top left box node in the case of a text box? I sometimes rotate an object and it disappears off the artwork.

    This is exactly what the proxy is for:

  • Rotating an 3D extrusion a certain number of degrees?

    Hello,
    I'm trying to figure out how to rotate an extrusion a specific number of degrees. I can easily do it with Isometric views and the preprogrammed Off-Axis views. However, I just chose a random rotation.
    In the example below, I made some stairs. Getting them to go in the opposite direction is easy - I just mirror the profile. However, I can't figure out how to properly rotate the stairs 90 degrees.
    Does anyone know how to calculate these? I'm sure there's a way, but my brain can't get over it. I'm used to working in 3D modelling software where you can rotate based off a relative plane, not the fixed plane that Illustrator uses.  I've searched everywhere and can't seem to find this specific answer.
    Thanks for any help,
    Tien

    I just chose a random rotation.
    And that's the problem. In order to make sense out of this poorly-designed feature, you need to proceed in such a way as to keep a mental track of where you started and how you got to the orientation you decide upon.
    This is because the three value fields do not reflect the rotations about the proxy cube's axes, which highlight with seemingly corresponding colors when you mouseover them (which would be far more intuitive and useful). Instead, they reflect the orientation of the invisible "virtual trackball" in which the proxy cube resides. So unless you can do trigonometry in your head as you drag things, the values are pretty much useless. Just yet another example of Illustrator's invariably unintuitive interface design.
    Here is an example of how to proceed. It is not the only way for your example, but one way:
    Before even starting with 3D Effect, I've reflected a copy of the blue staircase cross-section and colored it red. Then I grouped the two so as to manipulate them at once. Upon invoking the 3D Effect>Extrude & Bevel dialog, I set the dialog to Front, effectively zeroing the three values. In this orientation, the Z axis (extrusion depth) is along your line of sight.
    Turn on the Preview checkbox. Click the cursor in the red value field, then tap the up/down arrow keys to increment the tilt of the "virtual trackball" to get the desired bird's-eye (or worm's-eye) elevation.
    Mouseover the vertical axis of the proxy cube, so that it highlights green. Press and hold Shift. Tediously drag rightward until it looks like you have rotated the cube 45°. This is where you begin to encouter the hideous interface. Note that the value shown for the meaninglessly green icon is not 45°. You have to "eyeball" having arrived at the rotation that shows the left and right faces equally.
    Okay the dialog. Copy the Group and Paste In Front. I've selected (white pointer) the pasted copies of the profiles and re-colored them just to differentiate them from the original pair.
    Open the Appearance palette. DoubleClick the 3D Effect that is already applied to the copied Group. Its dialog opens with the same settings that you have already applied. Mouseover the rightmost vertical green axis of the cube and ShiftDrag it leftward until--again, eyeballing it--you have rotated it 90°. Note that the value shown for the stupidly green-colored icon now shows +40. Again, this is because the value shown is reflective of the axes of the "virtual trackball", not of the cube's axes. Clearly the difference between -40° and +40° is 80°, not 90°. But if you rotate the cube to a numerical difference of 90°, it will quite obviously not be a rotation of 90° about the vertical axes of the cube.
    Note also that while you've done this, the blue value has changed. That's the value that the design of the interface suggests is supposed to correspond to rotation about your line of sight. And in fact, if you drag that outer ring, all it does is rotate the whole illustration, as if you were spinning the drawing board. But again, it is showing a rotated value, even though the cube does not appear to have been rotated in that way (i.e.; the green cube axes have remained vertical throughout). Again, this is because the values shown correspond to the useless "virtual trackball," rather than what you're actually interested in.
    You can, by the way, directly manipulate the "virtual trackball" thusly: Mousedown in the black region outside the cube. Press and hold Shift. Drag up/down, left/right.
    Typically hideous Illustrator interface design.

  • Proxy 3.6 and user32.dll

    Hi,
    We just upgraded our proxy-servers to version 3.6. The specs of the
    servers are:
    - Compaq Proliant ML370
    - Pentium III 666 Mhz
    - 512 MB Memory
    - Compaq Smart 3200 controller
    - Madge Token ring controller
    - NT 4 server with sp 6a
    - raid 5 config
    On all our servers we get a user32.dll error (initialisation failed). It
    happens almost every day and causes loads of problems. The adminserver
    is not reachable anymore with the browser, the logfiles are not
    rotating, etc. Microsoft is looking into it as well, but hasn't come up
    with a solution.
    Is there anybody who experienced the same problem before? Does anybody
    have a solution?
    Many thanks,
    MJ

    I have the problem as well.

  • 3d rotation problem with CS5 (newbie)

    Hi everyone,
    as in Illustrator newbie this is my first post.
    I have created a 3d bullet shape by merging a couple of rounded rectangles, then using window > graphic style libiries > 3d effect > 3d effect 21 I have converterted my shape into a 3d cylinder shape with indents at each end. I should note here that I am not sure whether what I have done at this stage is a true 3d shape.
    My problem is that I want to rotate the bullet in such a way that I can see it from the front like it is heading towards you (with a bit of the side visible).
    I have tried using the Effect > 3D > Rotate option and indeed I can rotate the image in such a way that the mesh rotation guide is displaying just as i want but sadly the shape inside the guide has just turned into a flat plane. I have also tried to use the 3d Extrude & Bevel / Revolve options but each time the program freezes when trying to render the artwork.
    I am using Illustrator CS5 64bit in Windows 7. Any help or nudges in the right direction would be greatly appreciated
    many thanks
    Col

    they way you rotate your 3D effect in the way you wish is not to add a new or extra effect but rather to edit the original effect.
    1 Select the objects
    2 Then go to the appearance panel
    3 double click the 3D Effect to bring up the dialog window
    4. then use the positioning proxy to rotate the effect on the selected objects.

  • I started to update my macbook pro and was told i needed to restart, which i did. that  was about 6 hours ago and all i see is an apple and a rotating circle. what do i do?

    ! started to update my system and was told to restart. I did. it has now been about 6 hours and all i see is an apple and a rotating circle. what is happening?

    Take each of these steps that you haven't already tried. Stop when the problem is resolved.
    Step 1
    The first step in dealing with a boot failure is to secure your data. If you want to preserve the contents of the startup drive, and you don't already have at least one current backup, you must try to back up now, before you do anything else. It may or may not be possible. If you don't care about the data that has changed since your last backup, you can skip this step.
    There are several ways to back up a Mac that is unable to boot. You need an external hard drive to hold the backup data.a. Boot into Recovery by holding down the key combination command-R at the startup chime, or from a local Time Machine backup volume (option key at startup.) Release the keys when you see a gray screen with a spinning dial. When the OS X Utilities screen appears, launch Disk Utility and follow the instructions in this support article, under “Instructions for backing up to an external hard disk via Disk Utility.”
    b. If you have access to a working Mac, and both it and the non-working Mac have FireWire or Thunderbolt ports, boot the non-working Mac in target disk mode by holding down the key combination command-T at the startup chime. Connect the two Macs with a FireWire or Thunderbolt cable. The internal drive of the machine running in target mode will mount as an external drive on the other machine. Copy the data to another drive. This technique won't work with USB, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth.
    c. If the internal drive of the non-working Mac is user-replaceable, remove it and mount it in an external enclosure or drive dock. Use another Mac to copy the data.
    Step 2
    Press and hold the power button until the power shuts off. Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed to boot, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Use a different keyboard and/or mouse, if those devices are wired. If you can boot now, one of the devices you disconnected, or a combination of them, is causing the problem. Finding out which one is a process of elimination.
    If you've booted from an external storage device, make sure that your internal boot volume is selected in the Startup Disk pane of System Preferences.
    Step 3
    Boot in safe mode. Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Post for further instructions.
    Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including wireless networking on certain Macs.
    The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
    When you boot in safe mode, it's normal to see a dark gray progress bar on a light gray background. If the progress bar gets stuck for more than a few minutes, or if the system shuts down automatically while the progress bar is displayed, your boot volume is damaged and the drive is probably malfunctioning. In that case, go to step 5.
    If you can boot and log in now, empty the Trash, and then open the Finder Info window on your boot volume ("Macintosh HD," unless you gave it a different name.) Check that you have at least 9 GB of available space, as shown in the window. If you don't, copy as many files as necessary to another volume (not another folder on the same volume) and delete the originals. Deletion isn't complete until you empty the Trash again. Do this until the available space is more than 9 GB. Then reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode.)
    If the boot process hangs again, the problem is likely caused by a third-party system modification that you installed. Post for further instructions.
    Step 4
    Sometimes a boot failure can be resolved by resetting the NVRAM.
    Step 5
    Launch Disk Utility in Recovery mode (see Step 1.) Select your startup volume, then run Repair Disk. If any problems are found, repeat until clear. If Disk Utility reports that the volume can't be repaired, the drive has malfunctioned and should be replaced. You might choose to tolerate one such malfunction in the life of the drive. In that case, erase the volume and restore from a backup. If the same thing ever happens again, replace the drive immediately.
    This is one of the rare situations in which you should also run Repair Permissions, ignoring the false warnings it may produce. Look for the line "Permissions repair complete" at the end of the output. Then reboot as usual.
    Step 6
    Boot into Recovery again. When the OS X Utilities screen appears, follow the prompts to reinstall the OS. If your Mac was upgraded from an older version of OS X, you’ll need the Apple ID and password you used to upgrade.
    Note: You need an always-on Ethernet or Wi-Fi connection to the Internet to use Recovery. It won’t work with USB or PPPoE modems, or with proxy servers, or with networks that require a certificate for authentication.
    Step 7
    Repeat step 6, but this time erase the boot volume in Disk Utility before installing. The system should automatically reboot into the Setup Assistant. Follow the prompts to transfer your data from a backup.
    Step 8
    A dead logic-board battery in a Mac Pro can cause a gray screen at boot. Typically the boot failure will be preceded by loss of the startup disk and system clock settings. See the user manual for replacement instructions.
    Step 9
    If you get this far, you're probably dealing with a hardware fault. Make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store to have the machine tested.

  • How do I use Sun Web Server 7.0u1 reverse proxy to change public URLs?

    Some of our installations use the Sun Web Server 7.0 (update 1, usually)
    for hosting some of the public resource and reverse-proxying other parts
    of the URI namespace from other backend servers (content, application
    and other types of servers).
    So far every type of backend server served a unique part of the namespace
    and there was no collision of names, and the backend resources were
    published in a one-to-one manner. That is, a backend resource like, say,
    http://appserver:8080/content/page.html would be published in the internet
    as http://www.publicsite.com/content/page.html
    I was recently asked to research whether we can rename some parts of
    the public URI namespace, to publish some or all resources as, say,
    http://www.publicsite.com/data/page.html while using the same backend
    resources.
    Another quest, possibly related in solution, was to make a tidy url for the
    first page the user opens of the site. That is, in the current solution when
    a visitor types the url "www.publicsite.com" in his or her browser, our web
    server returns an HTTP-302 redirect to the actual first page URL, so the
    browser sends a second request (and changes the URL in its location bar).
    One customer said that it is not "tidy". They don't want the URL to change
    right upon first rendering the page. They want the root page to be rendered
    instantly i the first HTTP request.
    So far I found that I can't solve these problems. I believe these problems
    share a solution because it relies on ability to control the actual URI strings
    requested by Sun Web Server from backend servers.
    Some details follow, now:
    It seems that the reverse proxy (Service fn="service-passthrough") takes
    only the $uri value which was originally requested by the browser. I didn't
    yet manage to override this value while processing a request, not even if
    I "restart" a request. Turning the error log up to "finest" I see that even
    when making the "service-passthrough" operation, the Sun Web Server
    still remembers that the request was for "/test" (in my test case below);
    it does indeed ask the backend server for an URI "/test" and that fails.
    [04/Mar/2009:21:45:34] finest (25095) www.publicsite.com: for host xx.xx.xx.83

    # this causes /content/* to be taken from another (backend) server
    NameTrans fn="assign-name" from="/content" name="content-test" nostat="/content"
    # this causes requests to site root to be HTTP-redirected to a certain page URI
    <If $uri =~ '^/$'>

            url="http://www.publicsite.com/content/MainPage.html"
    </If>
    <Object name="content-test">
    ### This maps http://public/content/* to http://10.16.2.127:8080/content/*
    ### Somehow the desired solution should instead map http://public/data/* to http://10.16.2.127:8080/content/*
        Service fn="service-passthrough" rewrite-host="true" rewrite-location="true" servers="http://10.16.2.127:8080"
        Service fn="set-variable" set-srvhdrs="host=www.publicsite.com:80"
    </Object>
    I have also tried "restart"ing the request like this:
        NameTrans fn="restart" uri="/data"or desperately trying to set the new request uri like this:
        Service fn="set-variable"  uri="/magnoliaPublic/Main.html"Thanks for any ideas (including a statement whether this can be done at all
    in some version of Sun Web Server 7.0 or its opensourced siblings) ;)
    //Jim

    Some of our installations use the Sun Web Server 7.0 (update 1, usually)please plan on installing the latest service pack - 7.0 Update 4. these updates addresses potentially critical bug fixes.
    I was recently asked to research whether we can rename some parts of
    the public URI namespace, to publish some or all resources as, say,
    http://www.publicsite.com/data/page.html while using the same backend
    resources.> now, if all the resources are under say /data, then how will you know which pages need to be sent to which back end resources. i guess, you probably meant to check for /data/page.html should go to <back-end>/content/page.html
    yes, you could do something like
    - edit your corresponding obj.conf (<hostname>-obj.conf or obj.conf depending on your configuration)
    <Object name=¨default¨>
    <If $uri = ¨/page/¨>
    #move this nametrans SAF (for map directive - which is for reverse proxy within <if> clause)
    NameTrans.. fn=map
    </If
    </Object>
    and you could do https-<hostname>/bin/reconfig (dynamic reconfiguration) to check out if this is what you wanted. also, you might want to move config/server.xml <log-level> to finest and do your configuration . this way, you would get enough information on what is going on within your server logs.
    finally,when you are satisfied, you might have to run the following command to make your manual change into admin config repository.
    <install-root>/bin/wadm pull-config user=admin config=<hostname> <hostname>
    <install-root>/bin/wadm deploy-config --user=admin <hostname>
    you might want to check out this for more info on how you could use <if> else condition to handle your requirement.
    http://docs.sun.com/app/docs/doc/820-6599/gdaer?a=view
    finally, you might want to refer to this doc - which explains on ws7 request processing overview. this should provide you with some pointers as to what these different directives mean

    pl. understand that - like with more web servers - ordering of directives is very important within obj.conf. so, you might want to make sure that you verify the obj.conf directive ordering is what you want it to do..
    It seems that the reverse proxy (Service fn="service-passthrough") takes

    now, you are in the totally wrong direction. web server 7 includes a highly integrated reverse proxy solution compared to 6.1. unlike 6.1, you don´t have to download a separate plugin . however, you will need to manually migrate your 6.1 based reverse proxy settings into 7.0. please check out this blog link on how to set up a reverse proxy
    http://blogs.sun.com/amit/entry/setting_up_a_reverse_proxy
    feel free to post to us if you need any futher help
    you are probably better off - starting fresh
    - install ws7u4
    - use gui or CLI to create a reverse proxy and map one on one - say content
    http://docs.sun.com/app/docs/doc/820-6601/create-reverse-proxy-1?a=view
    if you don´t plan on using ws7 integrated web container (ability to process jsp/servlet), then you could disable java support as well. this should reduce your server memory footprint
    <install-root>/bin/wadm disable-java user=admin config=<hostname>
    <install-root>/bin/wadm create-reverse-proxy user=admin uri-prefix=/content server=<http://your back end server/ config=<hostname> --vs=<hostname>
    <install-root>/bin/wadm deploy-config --user=admin <hostname>
    now, you can check out the regular express processing and <if> syntax from our docs and try it out within <https-<hostname>/config/<hostname>-obj.conf> file and restart the server. pl. note that once you disable java, ws7 admin server creates <vs>-obj.conf and you need to edit this file and not default obj.conf for your changes to be read by server.

    I have also tried "restart"ing the request like this:
    NameTrans fn="restart" uri="/data"
    ordering is very important here... you need to do this some thing like
    <Object name=default>
    <If not $restarted>
    NameTrans fn=restart uri from=/¨ uri=/foo.
    </If>

    Try switching it back from landscape to vertical. Or, go to settings and see if you have any special setting turned on that enable only landscape view. Also, try hooking it up to your computer and charging it to see what happens.

  • Proxy error while running the financial report in workspace.

    Hi,
    We are using the Hyperion financial reporting 9.3.1 with Essbase as a data source.
    While running a report in workspace, we are getting the 'Proxy error' meassage, which is following-
    "<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN">

    The proxy server could not handle the request <em><a

    </body></html>"
    Do anybody have any idea on this? Any help will be appriciated on this.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Mohit Jain

    Hi Iain,
    We are using Microsoft Internet explorer 6.0. I am not sure about the 'proxy' (As we don't have any proxy setting in Tool--> Internet options--> connection--> LAN setting). We are accessing the Workspace and FR studio via Citrix application. How can I check the proxy.
    Also, I noticed one more point, Report has prompt for seleting 'Account hierarchy'.If we run the report only for one account hierarchy, report is returning the data but while running for multiple account hierarchy, it is throwing the 'Proxy error' as memtioned above.
    Please help us on this.
    Thank & Regards,
    Mohit

    the wsdl that i am using is https://webservice.test.exacttarget.com/ETFramework-ps-test.wsdl-secure.wsdl
    after the steps i am trying to activate the proxy but i am getting the following error:

    P.S i have been able to create a succesful connection in sm59 and i have been able to test the connection succesfullythe repsone i am getting is
    Status HTTP Response 200
    Status Text OK
    Duration Test Call 1104 ms

    Hello, did you ever get this working.  I am also looking for documentation on setting up and configuring SAP CRM 7 to connect with Exacttarget.  Anything you can provide would be very helpful as I am not able to find any documentation on this.  Example, exacttarget has sent us a wsdl file but we really don't know what to do with it and they have not provided the documentation related to setup and configuration within SAP.
    Thanks,

    "RFC system error for destination GTADIR_SERVER".
    Pl can you suggest. appreciate quick help in this.
    thanks in advance,
    Sharada

    Hi,
    For more details take a look at note:  [1063482 - Creating Dictionary objects - RFC error GTADIR_SERVER|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1063482]
    It is written that: Message SGSUB 104 is not an error message, but is merely irrelevant information for customers. You can continue to create objects nevertheless.
    To get rid of this annoying error you have to implement the corresponding  support package.
