Proxy Services won't work in imanager - ran fillattr success
I upgraded to BM 3.9.2 and got the migration error. So I ran fillattr with the correct arguments and it said that the migration was successful. Yet, when I go into Imanager and try to pull up proxy services it says "Either you have selected the wrong object or the migration is not done properly (Please run the fillattr manually )".
My Access rules transferred over fine after running fillattr. What can I do to fix this. The last few lines of my log are below:

Fillattr runs two migrations - one for access rules, and another for
proxy settings. I've seen cases where one works and the other fails.
But eventually you can get it going if you find the hangup.

Setting Keyboard Shortcuts for Services won't work
I've tried to set Keyboard Shortcuts for Services like "New Terminal Tab from Folder" but it won't work. I even tried it on my friend's machine to no avail.
Here's where I'm setting it up. And yes, I've turned on the checkbox & set the shortcut I want. I've even tried a few different keyboard shortcuts that are complicated to ensure that it's not competing with something else.
To note, I'm using TotalFinder but my friend, whose machine I tested this on, doesn't.
We are both running 10.8.2 on the latest MacBook Pro with Retina Display, 15".I have a similar scenario......except my services that I created run one time, and then won't run again.
For example, I created a service to open a new blank email message for me to type in. I assigned Cntl-Opt-Comm-M to this service. I hit the key sequence and it works the first time.....the mail window pops open.
If I then close the mail window that it spawned and do it again, no mail window opens.
I also did this to create a blank Calendar event and also another one for Reminders.
They all run one time and then not again.
Any ideas? -
Proxy client won't work in this case?
I have not made my client side work for a single device yet but I want to make sure I'm spending time on the right track:
My code will be running on the application server side, there will be hundreds of devices each has its own IP address, but runs exactly the same web services, and my code will need to talk to each of the selected ones using its IP address. I see that some generated proxy class contain the particular IP of the device where the web service is running on? If so, then it won't be possible for me to use a client proxy class to talk to all the devices.
I'm currently trying something like this:

I can see the single service named 'genusPortType' in the output, however when the following code is reached:

I got an error 'javax.xml.ws.WebServiceException: Illegal argument combination [type=javax.xml.soap.SOAPMessage,mode=MESSAGE]'. I'm confused because I see the same usage in lots of sample codes. Is it because the 'portName' part decides that these two parameters are not fit based upon the definition of 'genusPortType'? If the operation is defined like this in the wsdl file, wht values should I use?

Apple mobile device service won't work?
I tried googling it and doing what it said. I ended up having to reinstall itunes which worked the first time. Now I am back to square one. As in an error message comes up saying apple mobile device service isn't started. It is running always and on automatic and won't let me even stop it. I can't stop, start, pause or change it. It seems the only way to fix this I can see is to keep reinstalling itunes... which obviously is not helping the problem. Somebody please help!
That is the exact page I was on when I googled the problem. Did not help. I did everything it said. Maybe it is something with my computer? I have a toshiba satellite L655-S5153.

Intercom Service Won't work :( Why not? - FIXED IT THANKS
Hi guys new to the Group,
I have been playing with the Latest SDK. I have managed to get Hootie to work but I am unable to get Intercom to work correctly.
When I set up the Service I add the IP Address of the phone I want to connect to. I then press the Services button and then the Intercom Service Option the phone I am wanting to speak with Enters the Intercom mode but my phone Shows a <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC"-//W3C/DTD HTML 3.2 Final//EN"> Error Page.
Anybody got any Idea where I am going wrong?

SAP Business One DI Proxy service terminated unexpectedly
Hi All,
DI Proxy service doesn't work correctly and it generate an entry in event viewer: SAP Business One DI Proxy service terminated unexpectedly. Does anyone know what can be the reason?
I checked diproxyserver.properties file and everything is ok. I tried to change di proxy server from name to IP and it didn't help.
DI Proxy is on the same server as SAP.

@Radosław - yes, I used netstat , that's how I checked if anything uses port 2099.
Fortunately I solved the problem. Though DI Proxy still terminate unexpectedly but not so often. The most important thing is the B1 DI connection test is successful.
I want to add that DB server is HANA. The solution was to change JCOPATH in diproxyserver.properties. I replace '\\' into '/'.
I wait a little and see if it really solved the issue, and let you know.

Services suddenly stop working
Hi,
I wrote a few custom services in Automator to drive the program iStopMotion (telling the program to take the next picture, delete the last picture, play the movie, etc.). They work fine for a while and then... they just stop. You can neither trigger them with their keyboard shortcuts, nor run them from the services menu (they appear there as normal, but clicking them has no effect).
This line shows up in the log whenever this happens:

I've searched on that error and haven't turned up much. Any ideas?The application still works normally, so I can execute all the operations from within the application (using both its menus and its keyboard shortcuts). It's just the services that aren't working.
A bit more info:
1. *Other* services still work, it's just the Automator-derived ones that stop working. (For example, I can launch Text Edit and use the 'Capture Selection From Screen' service just fine.)
2. The error that's recorded in the log isn't as consistent as I thought before. For example, just now I got the following (which makes a bit more sense; at least it's Automator complaining about something):
4/29/13 3:05:10.710 PM com.apple.automator.xpc.workflowServiceRunner[207]: void workflow_service_runner_peer_handler(xpc_connection_t, xpc_object_t): Peer XPC handler received unexpected message error: Connection invalid
3. Another weird thing: After a restart, oftentimes the key commands for my services won't work (I just get an alert sound) until I go and manually click one of them from the Services menu.
At any rate, I have an identical Mac mini here, so I'll probably try to set all this up on it and see if the problem happens there, too.

Location services do not work when my MBP or iPad are in the basement
I thought location services work based on wifi, yet my MBP when in the basement even though it is on wifi location services won't work. The same with my iPad wifi, in the basement the location services are unavailable. The iPhone, however location services work fine deep in the basement. I am trying to understand this, could anyone explain. This wasn't a problem with OS Mavericks that I remember.
Location services works based on there being a known WiFi access point in the Apple Access Point database.
While not in the basement, you are likely seeing neighboring WiFi access points which are geo-located as opposed to yours which apparently is not.
I have heard that the database gets populated by iPhone and cellular iPads being located by cellular, then associating that location with WiFi access points visible to the iDevice.
I also believe they used the SkyHook Wireless database at one time, and may still do so. http://www.skyhookwireless.com/submit-access-point
You can submit your WiFi Access Point and geo-location which may or may not help. -
Issue:
On a vanilla installation, the sandboxed code service (e.g. SPUCHostService.exe) is started; however, SPUCWorkerProcessProxy.exe and subsequently SPUCWorkerProcess.exe fails to start.
Resolution/Workarounds attempted:
Attempted 2 different Load balancing settings – local and remote (i.e. affinity)
Ensured local computer policy on server for ‘RPC Endpoint Mapper Client Authentication’ and ‘Restrictions for Unauthenticated RPC clients’ is disabled.
Ensured following key in registry is set properly - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows NT\RPC
Attempted to bypass SharePoint’s check for certificate revocations at crl.microsoft.com
Ensured the service account is added to the respective groups (e.g. Performance Log Users, Performance Monitor Users, IIS_IUSRS, WSS_ADMIN_WPG, WSS_WPG)
Increased limit of ‘AbnormalProcessTerminationCount’ of SPUserCodeService via Powershell

For resolving your issue , you can do as the followings:
1. Logged into the Web Server with the Timer Service Account.
2. Ran the powershell command to check the SID of the account running the spucworkerprocessproxy.exe:
$(Get-SPManagedAccount -Identity "THE SERVICE ACCOUNT").Sid.Value
3. Checked the registry :
HKEY_USERS\[SID OF THE SERVICE ACCOUNT]\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WinTrust\Trust Providers\Software Publishing\State
4. Changed the value 0x00023c00 to 0x00023e00

I updated my iphone and when it came time for activation it won't work and keeps telling me to try again. At the top it says "No Service" and I have my SIM card in and a good WiFi connection and have connected it through iTunes but it says I have no SIM card and need to disconnect and insert my SIM. I don't understand why this keeps happening and it's been going on for a wile now. I have tried over and over again to get this iPhone to work but nothig is happening. I've even gone on the website for support (apple.com/support) but cannot find anything that will help me with this situation. Can someone please help me find a solution to this problem? I have been without a phone and do not have money to buy another one and it is crucial for me to get it fixed. Thanks.

What computer operating system is involved in the Premiere Elements 11 and 13 issues? Same computer or different ones? Are you installing from purchased download installation files or from purchased installation disc? Does Premiere Elements 11 work completely on this computer whereas 13 will not?
Let us go through the typical drill so as to take nothing for granted.
1. Does the problem exist with or without the antivirus and firewall(s) disabled? Are you working with an individual home computer or in a
school or company network?
2. Are you running the program as Administrator and is there any "domain" account involved?
3. Is your video card/graphics card up to date according to the web site of the manufacturer of the card?
4. Do you have the latest version of QuickTime installed on the computer with Premiere Elements?
Let us start by ruling in or out any of the above, and then we can decide what next.

I have a 2008 black MacBook and acess UK tv through a puchased proxy. I want to purchase a Sony Bravia internet connected tv and stream the site through a tv - Sony tell me this won't work - that a latest model tv cannot capture content and sites from a MacBook - is this true???? Surely there is a solution? Any help or advice welcome.
They are correct. The only stream you can wireless connect the TV to a Mac is through an AppleTV, and that's purchased content on iTunes, and your own homemade content that is H.264 MPEG-4 that is 1800kbps. Conversion of commercial video to that format is illegal, and hence how can not be stated on the forum. Alternatively, as long as the TV is HDMI, you can wired connect it to your MacBook using the same advice here:

Are you sure it was error 0604 since I never heard of that error, it does not appear in the list of errors in the following and a search of Apple's support site gets no hits. However, error 1604 is list and users have reported that error number. If 1604 is the error number the following tell yu wnat to do when you click on that error number:

Proxy Service JCA AQ Adapter. Queue retries doesn´t work
Hello, i have to integrate two applications by calling a WS with data coming through an AQ Queue. My OSB version is 10.1.3. The steps followed are:
1) Created a QUEUE with 5 retries and a retry delay of 1 minute.
2) Created a AQ Adapter in Jdeveloper.
3) configured a proxy service whith the adapter created. (Non Managed connection)
4) Then I tested the queue sending an alert with the payload dequeued and worked ok. The message is dequeued in database the alert is shown.
5) in the response pipeline i put a service callout and a xquey to transform the message.
If everything is OK the proxy works right, the message is sent to the WS y the rigth format.
If there is an error or the service is not available the message is dequeued anyway. No retry, no delay, and the message is lost.
Can anybody tell me what i am doing wrong?

But now de retries feature is not working.
I defined the queue this way:

If i am not wrong , after the raise error the message must stay in the queue and when the retry_delay will expire (20 seconds) the message will be proccesed again and again for 10 retries.
The message is proccesed (i put an alert to see it) but after 20 seconds the message still in the queue,
and in the queue table the column retry_count is not increased.
do you know what i am doing wrong?

Problem started when no sound would play in YouTube. Updated Java, flash, adobe, shockwave, plugins. Nada. Checked sound mixer on laptop, Firefox not muted. Ran firefox in safe mode. Still no sound. Yet no issues, sounds play in IE and other browers.
