Settings>iCloud>Storage and Backup>Manage Storage. Select the phone that doesn't say "this phone" then scroll down and choose Delete Backup

Or if you don't want to give credit card details : Create an iTunes Store, App Store, or iBooks Store account without a credit card or other payment method
But you won't be able to transfer purchases from your old account to it, all content that you download from the store will remain tied to the account that downloaded it.

You might consider itunes match for moving CDs you've copied into your itunes library if you dont have a way to use home sharing.
iTunes match is an optional service offered by apple that costs about $25 a year. It scans your music library and if it finds music that is already in apple's itunes catalog it'll automatically "unlock"/"store" these in the cloud for you. I'm new to this forum. My Ipod nano is almost full, so I wish to delete the playlists/ songs on it and give it to another family member, but without deleting anything in iTunes. Do you have any ripped, non-purchased music? That is, music that you ripped off of CD's and imported into your iTunes library as opposed to buying from the iTunes Store. If you do not have any of this music, your solution is simple: connect your iPod to iTunes, then go to File>Devices>Transfer Purchases from "[iPod name]". All of the music from your iPod will be transferred onto your MacBook. After that, sync your iPod to get the music that is on your MacBook and not on your iPod, on your iPod.
If you do have ripped music, however, you will have a much more difficult time. Is this the case?

No, you will not loose anything. However, if you ever need to update any of that previously purchased content, or re-download it, you will have to use the older AppleID. Purchases are permanently tied to the AppleID you use when making the purchase.
