Publishing Text as Text?

When I publish a site that I made on Muse (using businesscatalyst) the text is rendered as an image. Is there a way for the text to remain as text that can be selected and copied?

If Muse is rendering that text as an image that is for a few reasons
1) It's not a universal or web-safe font:  http://www.ampsoft.net/webdesign-l/WindowsMacFonts.html
or http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_typography
2) It's not a type-kit font suppored by Muse
3) It's been rotated, turned or some other type of effect added to it, which Muse then turns into an image.
The type that you're referring to that has not become an image file needs to be either a websafe or web/typekit font to remain as such that could be selected, copied ect.

    I want to publish a simple text animation transparent but keep getting a black background?

    trouble is, it's not always that straight forward if the initial animation has not been set to a transparent background, as you cant simply change/update the poster.png
    What I mean is, if the poster has been saved as non transparent once, the only wayto update it,  is to physically open the file and make it transparent, even then it doesnt always work especially working with OAM's
    hope that also helps

  • Published site - text moved, text spacing inconsistent

    I am very new to Adobe Muse, so go easy on me. I created a first site using Muse. In design view, all seems to be fine. When I published the site to Business Catalyst, text included on the top of the page moved up above other text. In design view, it is fine, only when published.
    Also, on one of the panels of an tabbed panels used in the site, the spacing of the text is not correct. The text appears as several paragraphs with headings that are different sizes from the content of the paragraphs. The first paragraph looks great. Paragraph two, three, and four have too much space between the lines of text. I had problems changing the font sizes of the headings, this seemed to occur after the issue with the font sizes.
    Below is the design view with text in place and text spaced appropriately.
    Below is the published view shwoing text with address information moved from its place in design view. It published above the company name. Also the spacing difference in the paragraphs two, three, and four on the right of the panel.
    Any help to resolve will be greatly appreciated
    Note: I attempted to post screen captures of the issues, but would not post with questions. Again, any help to get them onto the post would be appreciated.

    Sorry it took me so long to reply. I have screen captured what I reported in my post. Below are the two different captures, the first one is the published image from Business Catlyst. Note the address information is above the company name.
    Below is a capture from Design view from within Muse showing the correct placement of the text. Also, please note the difference in the text spacing in the paragraphs from Design view to the published view. I have reviewed the settings, but cannot determine how to publish to the spacing is the same in parargraphs two, three, and four.
    Thanks for your help.

  • Publish to folder: text errors

    i have discovered a frustrating pack of errors after publishing to folder:
    basically there is a major issue with how text in text boxes comes up. the majority looks odd. it looks more fat, almost bold if compared with how it looks in iweb itself. i have searched the inspector for any effects e.g. shadows that would convert the text into png what i believe might have happened here.
    trial-and-error:
    removed justifying of text: did not fix it
    created a nex text box and copy pasted text into it: did not fix it
    changed from verdana to trebuchet: did not fix it
    removed different font sizes by clicking entire text box and aligned one font size: did not help
    please check www.honeydew/de/ar_fuego.html
    scroll down to where it reads Länder- und Reiseinformationen (by the slideshow button)
    here the font looks how it should like - genuine while on top of the page it looks boldish (precisely the same font types, sizes, etc. as doublechecked with inspector!!!)
    and for better understanding check www.honeydew.de/ar_lanin.html
    scroll down again to where it reads Länder- und Reiseinformationen (by the slideshow button)
    here the font looks boldish even though the text box has been copy-pasted from the page before. (again precisely the same font types, sizes, etc. as doublechecked with inspector!!!)
    www.honeydew.de/de/content.html
    scroll down bottom to "neuseeland". bullets and text look different to "indien" just up to it. here again with the inspector fonts, sizes, etc. are all the same!!! this is so frustrating... i nearly cry
    suggestions?
    how to investigate if a text box has been converted into png?
    is there a tool available that warns everytime iweb converts a text box into png?
    there is to say that the domain file has been edited and edited all over for the past 3 months. all text boxes have been copy-pasted a number of times until i applied a final consistent layout all through all sites. while inspecting the published folder i found png files in the sub folders which did not match the content of that site the folder was named after.
    (links here are just a smaller dummy copy)

    tom, sorry the site has been replaced earlier.. pls. try again
    error description: after publishing to folder text (text box) looks oddly boldish.
    here the errors example: http://www.mistyrose.de
    remarks: text box properties are ok - no effects like shadow etc. ticked
    this workaround does the fix:
    changing text boxes opacity to 99% fixes the text. it now looks genuine.
    here it has been fixed: http://www.honeydew.de
    however i would still appreciate experts to advice. what is happening here, why do i need to fix the text box?
    one text box apparently has changed to png and i can't find the reason for it. no shadows, no backround color, etc.
    the text boxes with opacity changed to 99% are fortunately still text and not png.
    thank you

  • Not able to make change of text in text symbol which are stored in txt pool

    Hi Experts,
    I have new problem today. I have been told to make changes of header text which is displayed after running one customized program.
    Program name : ZSDXXXXX1 which is attached in one Tcode: ZSDXX2.But when I goto SE38 and display the program to make changes, it shows the following different report name like AQCSSYSTQV000009ZSDXXXXX1 and the text symbols text-f58 which are somewhat different.
    Pls gide me to proceed further...
    In SE38:
    report AQCSSYSTQV000009ZSDXXXXX1
       line-size 253 no standard page heading line-count 000(003).
    include <symbol>.
    include <icon>.
    selection-screen: begin of block prog
                               with frame title text-f58.
    tables LIKP.
    data %count-LIKP(4) type x.
    data %linr-LIKP(2).
    tables aqldb.
    include rsaqexcd.
    data: begin of %st_liste occurs 100,
              head(1),
              tab(3),
              line(6) type n,
              cont(1) type n,
              fint(1),
              finv(1),
              fcol(1) type n,
              text(0253),
          end of %st_liste.
    etc.

    As per the report name "AQCSSYSTQV000009ZSDXXXXX1", it seems that there will be a SAP Infoset "ZSDXXXXX1"
    Go to transaction SQ02 with this infoset name "ZSDXXXXX1" then press change button.
    Then on right hand side there witll be field groups/data fields. Select the folder corresponding to Text-F58 and then press change button .
    If it does not work try transaction SQ01 & SQ03.

  • How to customize the content set in text as part of tag cq:text property="text"/

    We use the tag <cq:text property="text"/> to get the content, which is set in the jcr property "text".  Text was set in Richtext component and it has hyper link.
    Now, we have to customize the text.
    Example:-
    Actual Text in 'text' property:-
    <p>Click <a data-action="Hyperlink" data-upc-tooltip-type="none" href="/content/www-abc-healthcare-ch/en/offer.html">here</a> for the link</p> <p></p>
    After customization in 'text' property:-
    <p>Click <a data-action="Hyperlink" data-upc-tooltip-type="none" href="/content/www-abc-healthcare-ch/en/offer">here</a> for the link</p> <p></p>
    i.e .html has been removed.
    I tried customizing and set back to text attribute using <c:set var="text" value="<CustomizedText>" /> but even after that tag <cq:text property="text"/> retrieves the old content i.e with .html
    Please suggest how to override text content, so that the tag <cq:text property="text"/> will print customized text.

      Which version of cq? Is Strict Extension Check enabled at  http://<host>:<port>/system/console/configMgr/com.day.cq.rewriter.linkchecker.impl.LinkCheckerTra nsformerFactory

  • Different color text in text area???????

    hi,
    i am working on applet in which i want to show different color text in text area????????
    could any one help me

    I'm not sure it replies, we have developed an
    editorkit for the JEditorPane for colorizing a
    text with a property file describing a grammar. We
    provide in the packaging a trivial sample
    for coloring a java syntax in an applet.
    http://www.japisoft.com/syntaxcolor
    And of course it also requires that you buy it, and a.brillant forgot to mention that a.brillant has a financial interest in this product.

  • Why can I not highligt text? (text is a scan from a book) I use: PC, Win 8, Reader XI

    Hi there :-)
    I read a lot of scanned text from my teacher as a part of my study. According to manuals, I should be able to highlight text - but It's not working.
    Is it because the text is a scan? does it only work with text document files that are converted to pdf's?
    Other people in my class experience the same problem. The twist is: it does work my co-student's Mac. (same shared file, file origin)
    I use Win 8, Reader XI
    Please advise :-)

    Is it because the text is a scan?
    Yes. To highlight text it must be "real" text, ie text that can be selected, not just an image.
    To convert an image to real text you need Acrobat, or a subscription to PDF Pack.
    You can use the Square tool, or other drawing markup tools, to create a kind of highlight over the desired text, though.

  • Problem in reading the modified text from text editor

    Hi all,
    Im using text editor for saving the long text entered in the text editor as standard text in So10 tcode.
    Here im facing an issue in reading the text from text editor. That is, when the text is entered by the user for first time, then the below method reads the text successfully.   But when i do some changes in the existing text present in the text editor and try to read, then the modified text is not returned by the below method.
    I use the "CALL METHOD g_editor_ftext1->get_text_as_stream" to read the text. Given below is my code.
    CALL METHOD g_editor_ftext1->get_text_as_stream
       IMPORTING
          text                   = ig_text_table
          is_modified            = g_xthead_updkz
        EXCEPTIONS
          error_dp               = 1
          error_cntl_call_method = 2
          OTHERS                 = 3.
    The return value of "is_modified" is always returned as 0.
    Could anyone pls help how to read the modified text using the above method?

  • BOM Item Text/Long Text

    Hi Gurus,
    I want to change a BOM and update/create the BOM Item text/Long text. I just want to change the BOM and create an item text (If the text is more than 80 chars, then I should be able to create a long text).
    I tried using FMs SAVE_TEXT and CREATE_TEXT without much luck. Could someone throw some light on how to achieve this.
    R

    Thanks Sudheer. Yes, I'm passing the correct parameters. Please see below.
            CONCATENATE sy-mandt ls_stpo-stlty ls_stpo-stlnr
                                     ls_stpo-stlkn ls_stpo-stpoz
              INTO lf_tdname.
              CALL FUNCTION 'CREATE_TEXT'
                EXPORTING
                  fid       = 'MPO'
                  flanguage = sy-langu
                  fname     = lf_tdname
                  fobject   = 'BOM'
                TABLES
                  flines    = lt_lines
                EXCEPTIONS
                  no_init   = 1
                  no_save   = 2
                  OTHERS    = 3.
    The thing is that it should save the text in Line1 and line 2 of the item text if the length is less than 80. I assume that the TEXT Fms will do it for me. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
    I have also tried a direct database update by changing the stpo-ltxsp field. No luck again. Did someone has updated/created the text using this method ?

  • To Include Standard Text in TEXT Field of SMARTFORM

    Hi,
             I  have a requirement to include a Standard text inside a TEXT field. The name of standard text is ZSD_CMR_&VSTEL&_STATISTICAL  where for VSTEL we should put the respective work area field like ZSD_CMR_&W_LIKP-VSTEL&_STATISTICAL .
    But while executing the Form its giving Error that STD text does not exist.
    The Requirment is like - shipping point (LIKP_VSTEL) of the delivery to identify the standard text. So, if a doucument for a delivery for shipping point 3114 is printed, it should come with the contents of ZSD_CMR_3114 STATISTICAL  In case the shipping point is 3112 it shoukd be ZSDCMR_3112 _STATISTICAL.
    Can you please let me know how to include Std Text inside the TEXT, I mean SYNTAX .
    Regards
    Avi

    Hi Avi,
    Lets take the example the standard text <b>'ZSD_CMR_3114 _STATISTICAL'</b> then with this standard text get the TDOBJECT,TDNAME,TDID and TDPRAS from <b>STXH</b> table.
    In the Smartform, goto <b>TEXT->General Attributes Tab</b>.
    Select <b>Type</b> to be I<b>nclude Text</b> from the drop down list.
    Then give the Text Name, Text Object, Text ID and Language.
    Your Standard Text whcih you maintain in S010 will be displayed in the smartform window.

  • How to Change behavior of standard text object&text ID (SE75)?

    Hello there!!
    I'm struggling with this:
    For standard text object C_SHES_ACH & ID 0001 (EHS: IHS Safety Measures) wichs is used as a description for safety measures (CBIH82/CBIH02..) need that when the user create or edit the text, already appears a "Fill in the blanks"  form.
    For example, in CBIH82, editing an accident log, I go to Safety measures Button, then create a safety meassure, and when i click for long text description something like this should appear:
    TEXT 1 (1st Title)
    user line
    user line
    user line
    user line
    (free amount of user lines)
    TEXT 2 (2nd Title)
    user line
    user line
    user line
    user line
    (free amount of user lines)
    Thanks a lot for your feedback!
    Rgds!!

    Hii,
    I am unable to understand exactly wat you want.
    But for free amount of lines : Keep that text under LOOP. Right click on template or window and create a loop and under that loop keep the text ,you can get many lines. or the given below point plzz follow.
    1,Use SO10 Tcode to write standard text in Smartform.
    2.For long text
    method1
    Create TEXT node- general attributes change text type to include text
    then you can input text name/text object/text id/language
    method2
    create PROGRAM LINE node - use FM READ_TEXT to read it to a internal table
    then use LOOP or TABLE node to display it
    For TEXT module(For foreign language)
    Tr-code:smartforms -- choose Text module(not choose form)--create a text module object
    then enter smartform Create TEXT node- general attributes change text type to text module
    input the text module name which created by above
    3.
    1. take function module name of the smartform.
    2. goto se37 and type that fm name.
    3. goto attributes tab
    4. double click on either program or include .
    5. There u can find all the subroutines used inside smartform.
    6. search for "perform %move using %textkey-name".
    4.Standard Texts are created in SO10 Tcode and stored in STXH table with OBject ,ID and NAME parameters. We can use Read_Text FM to read the text.
    check the tables STXH & STXL.
    5.
    How to CAll Standard Text in Smart Forms
    In SFs you can insert the standard tests using the TEXT node. Create a TEXT NODE. Then in the GENERAL ATTRIBUTES of this TEXT node select INCLUDE TEXT in the TYPE option. Then you have to enter the text name, object , ID and language in the provided fields. Then if you dont want any error if there is no text in the corresponding text then CHECK the check box "No errors if no text available.
