Purchase price inclusive of ED Value how to pass entries without splitting

Hi
My client is a Trader and there are some purchases where the Excise Duty is inclusive in the purchase price.
Example
Assessable value :                                  Rs.100.00
ED 16%                                                 Rs   16.00
Ecess 2% On ED value                           Rs.    0.32
HEcess                                                  Rs.   0.16
     Total Tax                                   Rs. 16.48
     Total                                         Rs.116.48
The purchase price for example is Rs.120 (which includes ED Value of 16.48%) + CST 3%.
Our client does not want to split the ED value and then pass entries as it would result in a lot of manual work. Is there any other way to solve this problem.
Can any one help me pllllllllllllease

Hai Sindhu
Is it an excisable item, if it is so r u using the excisable in the sales transaction?
Any how u can make use of the formatted searches, to avoid the manual work for updating the price including the ED etc automtically.
Something like
Select ($[inv1.U_price].16.02)
and make as a formatted search in the price field.
above is not the exact, try something like this.

thanks and regards

    HI
Use FB08 for reversal of FI transactions.
F.80 - for Mass Reversal of FI transactions.
If it is a cleared item use FBRA to reset the cleared item and use FB08 for reversal.
Don not worry about the posting keys for reversal system will automatically take it.
The posting keys defined in SAP can be found at OB41.
Also do not change the SAP settings for posting keys.
    Good Luck

  • How Can I Print Without Splitting Categories

I have a sheet created with a single Category column, with each category comprised of 8 items.
I would like to print the sheet (about 4 pages, but I don't want a category to be slit to more than one page. i.e. I don't want to print with 1 item on one page, and then the remaining 7 on the next page.
This can easily be setup in Excel and I am hoping this can be done in Numbers as well.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

Use the content slider at the bottom of your Numbers document to reduce the size to fit on one page.

  • Price List and Last Purchase Price.

When a Price List based on the Last Purchase Price is created, we have found that a set of problems arise in companies using u201CGoods Receipt POu201D.
    EXAMPLE:
Every article received from their suppliers are enclosed with a GOODS RECEIPT.
After 20 days, the supplier issue an invoice including all the Goods Receipts provided during the corresponding month.
Recall that the company has a List Price based on the Last Purchase price.
But, since the Goods Receipt do not update the Last Purchase Price, all new articles in the database, are kept without a Selling Price, and the old articles are not subject to an updated Selling Price.  I enclose a draft to show this behavior.
You may note that SAP HELP explains:
1.In addition, two price lists are automatically created and calculated by the system:
        - Last purchase price list u2013 the price list is automatically updated when an item enters the stock with its entering price.
        - Last evaluated price list u2013 the price list is automatically updated after you run the Inventory Valuation report.
    But this does not happen.
Selling Prices are only updated when the corresponding invoice is entered, but this happen too late, since the invoice issued 20 days after by the supplier.
In other words, it does not work properly for the company.   The example shows:
    1 Goods Receipt PO
2 Item master data with Price calculated alter Goods Receipt processing
3 base Price driven to zero.
If Goods Receipts do not update the last Purchase, is not easy to understand why a Selling Price can be based in the Las Purchase Price.
Our customer and me, think that there is a programming error.
Otherwise, the system behavior has not be properly explained to SAP users.
The described facts happen with SAP 2007A PL 49, and SAP 8 PL 5, both versions properly tested
That we need:  That Goods Receipt update the last purchase Price and Price List could be constructed don Item bases cost.

    Hi Dana,
I'm not sure if this will solve your problem, but, you can create a new price list which is based on the "Last Purchase Price" and set as a factor of 1.65. I'm not sure if the "Last Purchase Price" updates from the Goods Receipt or the PO though?
Does this sound like it might solve your problem?

  • How to pass password from jsp to Applet

    Hi ,
I can pass the user to applet like below. But password will be seen from view source.
How can pass password without showing in the view source.
    <PARAM NAME="loginname" VALUE="<%=request.getParameter("loginname")%>">
    <PARAM NAME="loginpassword" VALUE="<%=request.getParameter("loginpassword")%>">
    Thanks in advance.
    Rockesh

Or alternatively, determine why you need to pass the password on to the Applet.
For example, if the Applet needs to log into a resource, it is much more secure to ask the user for a password then, as opposed to getting the password from a form, passing it on to the Applet and then having the Applet blindly relay the password to the server, the database, whatever.
If the Applet doesn't need to do anything with the password, then I must question the wisdom of passing on the password in the first place.
If the Applet uses the password to do authentication, then the best solution is to generate hashes of the password and compare those hashes as needed. This would make it much more difficult for someone to either eavesdrop on it, or guess it through random trial and error. We can take it one step further. When the JSP code is executed - generate a one time unique password that's extremely long, at least 128 characters. Embed the password in the resulting HTML page as a hidden field and seed the Applet with the password. That would tie the Applet to a particular web page.
I really like SpinyNorman's JavaScript, but if that's indeed your purpose, you might as well do it in the Applet itself. In other words, it's kind of pointless to ask for a password in order to launch the Applet - once the user gets the Applet's URL by some means, he can just bypass the JavaScript authentication.

  • Purchase order report with basic price and Excise duty values

Is there any standard report in SAP to get the Purchase order basic price / qty and its Excise duty values ? Since we are including Excise duties for non - codified items (w/o material master and with cost center 'K') Purchase order and the ed values are added to the cost and the requirement is to see the split up (Basic priceEdEcs+Hcs)for these Purchase orders for the vendors. • How to obtain last purchased price of an item

How can i obtain the last purchased price of an item? There seems to be an 'LastPurPrc' field in the OITM table, but this does not seem to be exposed in the DI api. The last purchased pricelist is an 'internal' pricelist so cannot be used in the pricelists selection. Is there another way then just retrieving the value with a direct database Sql query?

    Hi,
There is,  but is long :-D.
You could check the purchase invoices by key in descendant order and check if the lines had the item, then check the price in the line to get the purchase price.
    Hope it helps,

  • How to find out what is the purchase price keyed in Initial Quantity

    Dear Experts,
The stock valuation is Standard Costing.
Before this, someone else keyed in initial quantity and the purchase price in the Initial Quantities module.
Now when I issued a PO to a vendor (price list tagged with Last Purchase Price), the price shown is different.
How do I find out if the price keyed in initial quantity is correct or not? Any tables I can refer to?
I tried to track from the Inventory Posting List and the smartlink only bring me to the journal entry for the initial quantity posting. I don't have the details like item no., qty, price.\
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Joyce,
Go to Inventory->Inventory transactions->Initial Quantities, Inventory Tracking, and Inventory Posting. Open Inventory Posting Tab and select your price list and items if you want or check you can see there Item quantity and old price also price list wise.
    Thanks

  • How do I stop Mac App Store apps listing as "Accept" rather than the purchase price?

    Hi there,
I'm attempting to buy iPhoto '11 from the Mac App Store but it lists as "Accept" rather than the purchase price.
When I click on Accept a message pops up saying "These apps cannot be accepted by your Apple ID: These apps were already assigned to another Apple ID, and they will be available in that Apple ID's Purchases list. If you don't have access to that Apple ID and want to receive future updates, you will need to purchase the applications."
The pop-up gives the option to hit OK and there are no other buttons.
iPhoto '11 is not in my purchases list. I have never bought it before. I am using a second hand Mac and I suspect the previous owner may have downloaded iPhoto but it is no longer installed anywhere on the system and I am the sole user of it. There are no other accounts on this Mac and it looks like it was reformatted back to scratch before I bought it.
The problem is I cannot find any way to reset the "Accept" option so I can actually purchase the App.
Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

i also am having this EXACT same problem and alot of others seem to be too? i wonder what is going on here! if anyone from apple reads this, maybe it is something you can look into? My mac did not come with a start up disk and i accidently deleted the iphoto app... i have 2 apple I.Ds but i dont use the one originally registered. i am aware i will have to buy the app again in this case so please let me buy iPhoto please! and thanks!

  • How to setup initial purchase prices in item master.

How can I setup my purchase prices for the items which I have not purchased yet? I am running MRP wizard to get the purchase recommendations when I convert them to purchase orders or even on the recommendation list the prices are coming up zero. I do not want to setup price list since the prices are keep changing. Please note that this is only for the items which we have not purchased yet. Seems it works okay as soon as we do inventory transactions (goods rec or inventory rec).
Please let me know if anyone has come across to this situation.
    Tkx

That is right.  Nothing changed. The only differences are more transactions recorded. All zeroed out themselves.  I have done it couple of times.
You can check the item posting history and got two postings such as +1 and -1. That is all.

  • How the Purchase Price determination process works in sap-mm?

    Hi,
Can anybody tell in detail or have step by step document on  Purchase Price determination process?
    Thanks,
    Pradip

    Hi,
You can go for pricing manually or automatic. If you need pricing automatic you have to go for use of Access Sequences and Schema Group of Vendor. You can customize your pricing procedure according to your requirement such as like Domestic, Import and Stock transport.
For the above individually you have to configure Pricing Procedure and the following steps are:
    SPRO->MM->Purchasing->Conditions->Define Price determination process
    1. Define Condition Table:
    2.Define Access Sequence,
    3.Define Condition Type,
    4.Define Calculating Schema,
5.Assign Calculation Schema, Access Sequence and Condition Type,
    6.Define Schema Group Of Vendor,
    7. Define Schema Group Of Purchasing Organization,
8.Assign Schema Group Of Vendor to Purchasing Organization,
9.Assignment of Schema Group Of Vendor ,Schema Group Purchasing Organization and Calculation Schema.
    10. Assign Vendor to Schema Group of Vendor (XK02)
    11.Maintain Condition record (MEK1)
after above steps, you can go for create PO in ME21N.
In the case of Import PO, you have to activate Import PO.
SPRO->Materials Management -> Purchasing -> Foreign Trade/Customs ->Control Foreign Trade Data in MM and SD Documents -

    Hi,
there is a method to obtain the list of last purchase price??
    Thx
    Best Regards

    hi,
I've tried the PriceList Obj and GetItemPrice but nothing to do....
I would like obtaining the second Price List row in the Price Lists Form (Inventory\Price Lists\Price Lists).
If I enable Debug Information I can obtain ListNum but the first two rows have the ListNum set to -2 and -1
With the PriceList.GetByKey method if I set the parameter with -1 or -2 doesn't work... There is a way to obtain this PriceList?
    Thanks a lot

  • Purchase Price Variance Report

I am trying to write a query to understand whether we have a purchase price variation from the latest invoice to the second latest invoice. I am having a problem gaining the information for the second purchase invoice as SAP Query generator seems to state that The sub query for the second to last invoice is bringing through more than 1 value. Could someone give me some help on how to do this better.

But i do not know how to do this could someone help me out?Either option is fine.

  • Purchase price variance

    Hi
I want to to drill down the purchase price variance.Say I have PPV of 10K. I want to drill down to details of 10k.How to proceed. What is the transaction code for that?
    Thanks in advance.
    SN

    Hi Satya,
Variances are based around the standard values that are set up in the Material Master file. These standard values represent what it "should" cost to produce (or purchase) a unit of the product. Variances are calculated automatically when settlement jobs are ran in SAP
purchase price variances are caused by a difference between the standard cost in the MM file and the actual price on the purchase order.
The entries will b something like this
    Debit Inventory XXXXX
    Credit Accounts Payable XXXXX
    Credit Price Variance XXXXX

  • Purchase Price/Production variances GL account

    Hi,
When I did GR, the purchase price variance GL account has been posted correctly for the difference between PO price and std price.
However, I found out that after settling the production order via KO88, the variances was also posted in the same GL account.  Is it possible to post this to another GL account, say, Production variance.  If yes, how do I change it?  If its via OBYC, are there rules or general modifications which I have to change?
    Thanks to advise.
    Regards,
    Thess

    Hi Thess,
In case of Price Differences arising against Purchase Orders, you don't need to give any Account Modifier in PRD in OBYC.
For the Variances arising against Production Orders, use the Transaction Key PRF.
You can assign two different GL Accounts for this purpose.
Pls find the following SAP Help...
Price differences arise for materials valuated at standard price in the case of all movements and invoices with a value that differs from the standard price. Examples: goods receipts against purchase orders (if the PO price differs from the standard pricedardpreis), goods issues in respect of which an external amount is entered, invoices (if the invoice price differs from the PO price and the standard price).
Price differences can also arise in the case of materials with moving average price if there is not enough stock to cover the invoiced quantity. In the case of goods movements in the negative range, the moving average price is not changed. Instead, any price differences arising are posted to a price difference account.
Depending on the settings for the posting rules for transaction/event key PRD, it is possible to work with or without account modification. If you use account modification, the following modifications are available in the standard system:
None for goods and invoice receipts against purchase orders
PRF for goods receipts against production orders and
    order settlement
Pls revert back for futher explanation...
