Purchase Requisition version

Dear all,
could you help me on this question?
i want to keep the PR date & Requirement date fixed under all activities in project builder, but whenever i do the scheduling or in thing like addition of new activity & then go to save project builder system shows some networks having costing error.
When i checked PR under that particular network in ME53N some of them shows new version created.
but the fact is these dates will change unexpectedly.
when i want to save the dates of all activities, i create the Purchase Requisition version. could you explain it in details?
Please do the needful as soon as possible.

Hi,
I think you creating  network activities... you have scheduled the project......  materials you have attached to activity..... you have created material POs with Network account assigned (consumption)
or PR through Projects directly.
in this scenario requirement date of materail may be copied from  start ( eirliest/ latest) or finished ( eirliest or latst), whenever you schedule the project system updates the date & same dates will be copied to material requirement date, if you maintain requirement date manually then scheduling will not affect the requirement date...
so  this is completely depend on scheduling & requirement date...
I hope this will help you...
In case of error in cost - that is nothing to do with scheduling
just check activity cost calculation ( based on work center & activity type)

  • Purchase Requisition Item Version Completion

    Dear Friends,
                          In a purchase requisition line item, In the version tab when the version check box is newly ticked, I want to capture that change. I tried to use get_datax method of IF_purchase_requisition _item in the line item check user exit. but the structure doesn't have the field. please let me know is there any way to find out if this field is changed newly.

  • Purchase requisitions are not created for Component by MRP

    Hi,
    I have created planned orders for assy. When I run the MRP the purchase requisitions are not created by  MRP for the components. If I check the planned order the components tab is showing all the raw materials list as per the BOM. The master data tab shows the BOM,Routing,Production version etc. But when I run the MRP the components planned orders/purchase requisitions are not created.  There is no stocks available for the components in the plant, still the purchase requisition are not created by MRP.
    I have tried in both transactions MD01 and MD02.
    I could notice one thing. Supoose if I enter 31.12.2009 is the order finish date, the system creates exception mesage 10- Rescheduling in with proposed date 01.12.2009.  Why the system is propsoing rescheduling in with date 01.12.2009 which past date.

    Hi,
    I am using MRP type PD  for assy and components. There is no planned orders for assy.
    If I run MD02 the planned orders created for assy and purchase requisition are created for raw materials. But if I run MRP in MD01 neither  the planned orders nor the purchase requisitions created.
    I tried the Control keys NETCH,NEUPL but still the planned order and purchase requisitions are not created if I run using MD01.
    Please suggest.

    When I create a production order , for the components  with bom item N the system create a purchase requisition. I need to avoid this automatic creation , do you know a solution to obtain this ?

    For the many people that have asked this question.
    N item category in the BOM is always going to propose direct procurement. Through configuration I have not found a way to make it go away from the planned order. You can make it go away from the production order.
    The IMG path:

    The best solution is to use BOM item category L with the bulk indicator set. You will not get any direct procurement proposals or planned orders and you can use long term planning to see the time phased MRP results.

    Under the assumption that things have not changed much since 4.70, here's quick introduction:
    The workflow is started only when a relevant release strategy is found, so customizing of release strategies is a very important (first) step here.
    In the Implementation Guide you find the customizing in the following path:
    Materials Management

    -- -- -- -- Procedure with Classification
    Only the procedures with classification are relevant if you want to use workflow to notify about requisitions waiting for release.
    First you must set up a classification class if that has not already been done. Derive your characteristics from the structure CEBAN. The online help is not too bad, I had never set up classifications before and managed to get it working.
    If you need data that are not available in CEBAN, or you want to modify them for the purpose of determining the release strategy there is an enhancement you can implement, and there are customer fields you can use. The enhancement definition's name is M06B0002.
    As an example of what you can do, I have used it to set the company code in one of the customer fields, and to change the account assignment type. However, whether you need this enhancement or not depends strongly on what data you use to determine your release procedures (a step in customizing you will get to later).
    When that is done you define release groups and release codes. Release codes are defined within each release group. Whether you should use one group or several groups is often a matter of choice.
    I myself prefer using several groups even if I don't have to, so long as it doesn't lead to having to define duplicate release strategies (which you will soon get to). So, if there is some characteristic that clearly separates your release strategies, e.g. the highest amount that does NOT require release etc, you can define one group for each value (group) of this characteristic.
    For instance, if some company codes require release for everything worth more than 100EUR while the default is to require release from 10.000EUR you could create to release groups. None of your release strategies will be duplicates since the value from which release is required will be different and you thus need to have that as a characteristic.
    You then check that the set-up of release indicators is OK, and then you are ready to start defining the strategies. Release stragies are defined within each release group, and use one or more release codes (two or more release indicators).
    It is fairly self-explanatory once you get into the screens. The thing to be observant about is to not define overlapping strategies, as this will prevent the solution from working.
    When you are done, and have tested the solution in DEV it is time to transport it to the QA system. That's when I got a rather unpleasant surprise. The classification data are not transported, so both the characteristics and class, as well as the classification data in each release strategy had to be redefined. And in roughly two hours I have to do it again in production.
    It is possible to transport classification information, it is described in SAP OSS Notes (different solutions for different versions).

  • Purchase order quantity equivalent to purchase requisition quantity

    Hello.
    We need to control that the purchase order is not created by greater amount than the purchase requisition. Must be created only by the purchase requisition quantity (or less).
    Is there a way to do this on parametrization?

    but at the time of change ppurchase order i have changed the text field for that also new version is triggered. i want to control this if only qty and price and payment terms change only version management should trigger. is it possible through standard please tell me the config steps.

    Go to ME51 Tcode or ME51N (if it is ECC5 or ECC6 version) and create the PR by entering the Values
    Take the sample values of the fields from the EBAN and create the Pur requisition.
    Similarly for PO creration take the values from EKKO and EKPO tables and create.
    Take the SAP help
    Press F1 on each field and understand and create the PR and PO

    I have a requirement to generate a simple abap report to display a list of purchase requisitions and its related POs. If my understanding is correct, for a single purchase requisition, multiple POs can exist, right ? Can someone help me with the select query for this ? also can you let me know typically what can be the basic fields displayd in such a report ?
    I need to understand the relationship between the tables involved for pur req and Pur orders.

  • Purchase Requisition(PR) after Purchase Order(PO)

    Hi Gurus,
    My customer wanted to lock all the areas of PR after a PO is created by referencing to this PR. I know that we can lock the areas of PR after released, but it  is a kinda different situation, because no release strategy we are using.

    You can use Version Management Functionality.
    Setup Version Management for all the Fields in the Purchase Requisitions for which you want. It will not also users to save / change the document until proper reason is entered.

    I want to create Purchase Requisition against the Sales order user Defined committed quantity (i.e in Mtr) and on the basis of Purchase requisition i want to create Purchase Order.
    Here the Purchase order is standalone or we can take the reference of  one or more than one Purchase Requisition no.,
    Please help me out to map the perfect flow of this scenario to map purchase requisition.
    Note: we can also able to  generate standalone Purchase Order.

    Use SAP B1 8.81 . Purchase  Requisition available in SAP B1 8.81. You not need to make Purchase  Requisition AddOn  update your product and use it . if u want to developed add on for lower version so u can install 8.81 and can take idea about it.

  • Error Message when creating Purchase Requisition

    We are on SRM 4 version in classic scenario.
    We are creating a limit shopping but when he has been approved we got an error from the backend system :
    Shopping Cart XXXXX3 (Purch. Requisition XXXXX): ME020 Item category X not allowed with document type XX
    the same user has already created a shopping cart on limit with no problem but not on the same plant/cost center/gl account...
    Do  you have an idea of the error message solution?

    Check the following settings in ECC system.
    1) IMG -> Materials Management -> Purchasing -> Purchase Requisition ->     
    Define Document Types                                                       
    Select "EC", (or those related with BBP), then double click on              
    "Allowed Item Categories".                                                                               
    2) IMG -> Materials Management -> Purchasing -> Purchase Order ->           
    Define Document Types                                                       
    Select "EC", (or those related with BBP), then double click on              
    "Allowed Item Categories".                                                  
    Also, check if note 140846 is applied.
