QaaWS-Metadata like fetchedrows or queryruntime is not loaded

Hi,
we set up a universe on top of a BEx query and published a QaaWS to access the data in Xcelsius 2008. The data is imported and displayed properly. However, none of the additional infofields the QaaWS offers show any data - specifically the fetchedrows and queryruntime would be of interest.
We mapped the outputs of fetchedrows and queryruntime to single Excel-Cells and connected these to text-boxes - but they stay empty after the execution of the QaaWS.
As I could not find this in the known issues or in this forum, perhaps it has something to do with some settings?

Hi Peter,
This is a known problem. It will be fixed in FixPack1, the next patch for Xcelsius.
For now, if you bind only one metadata field, you will get the data. If you bind more than one, you will not.
So, if you want FetchedRows, you can see that, but if you try to get FetchedRows and QueryRunTime, you won't get either.

My LR 2.6 install has worked fine for years on my black Mac, running 10.6.8. It suddenly pushes my CPU to overdrive, my fan kicks on and it will neither load libraries or finish creating new ones. It will not completely load despite waiting forever... literally. Any ideas? Anyone. I have years of libraries that I can't open right now. I have rebooted, force killed, etc.. I have not reloaded the app from scratch (last resort).

The following Knowledge Base article offers up some great steps for troubleshooting the unexpected power off issue you're describing:
iPhone: Hardware troubleshooting.

Will not turn on, will not turn on unless connected to power, or unexpected power off
Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion. Learn about LCIsand corrosion.
Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 30 minutes, if:
The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen . Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.

Pages not loading until refresh

Hi all,
Recently I have noticed on my Ipad and PC that webpages like google for example do not load, they get stuck until I refresh then it will go through and load the page. Also youtube has problems when I am using the ipad with certain videos just refusing to load. Wat can I do to rectify this problem!

Could be a DNS problem. Try using Google DNS instead - 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

SWF Loader - not loading from variables

The above code is working find and it is loading the swf fine
The problem comes when I read a list of files and load it.. I read a CSV file, to get a list of SWF names.

I'm not sure I understood the question, but if you use SuperImage from
quietlyscheming.com, it will cache images in memory so if you try to get
them again it will be very quick.

Thumbnails on MySpace and Facebook will not load on Safari

I just got a MacBook Pro a couple of months ago and I love it! I am having a minor problem getting pictures (normally thumbnails) on websites like facebook and myspace will not load. When I am logged on to the wireless internet at school these thumbnails load fine, the problem occurs only when I am at home and try to access these websites. I am connected wirelessly to a 2Wire DSL router. Any help with this annoyance would be greatly appreciated!

Help! New to Mac! Pictures will not load on Safari (blue question marks)

Sometimes when I surf the web (especially sites like Facebook.com), pictures will not load. They turn into little blue check marks. Eventually, none of the pictures on the webpage will load. I have to shut down Safari, reboot my computer, and then pictures load again for a little while. Any advice? Please help!

Safari will not load pages after flash update yesterday

I am trying to access pages like CNN.com...with the nice background image on the home page...it does not load the images. Also, articles like "34 sports photos" do not load the flash player so I can see the photos.

If you can't install or update Flash, follow these instructions.
If you have installed the latest version of Flash, please take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. After each step, relaunch Safari and test.
For a "blocked plug-in" error, see Step 4.
For a "missing plug-in" error, start with Step 8.
Back up all data before making any changes.

You might have to log out or restart the computer before a Flash update takes effect.

Opening links in new tab will not load pages either from new link or bookmarked pages after firefox 3.6 update

After updating my fire fox to 3.6.3 I now cannot click on links into a new tab it will just open a blank tab, after hitting refresh, nothing happens. But when clicking bookmark link it will open in new tab as wanted but will not load unless I re-click it a second time. Clicking links normally will load page. Entering a URL like www.yahoo.com will not load either. To get to this page I had to a search engine like yahoo and type in fire fox website and it from there.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

Dreamweaver CS3 will not load up

I went to startup my Dreamweaver CS3 like always and it
would not load. I have been using it fine for months with no issues
and today it just died. I get an error of Program is unable to open
please reinstall or repair files. But nothing else is give for an
error. I removed the program and rebooted and reinstalled. It never
asked me for the serial number I though it is most likley still in
the registry somewhere. I still get same error. Is there a 100% way
to remove all items of DCS3 from my PC and reinstall 100% fresh?

If you go to the Adobe Support Knowledgebase, you can find

Firefox 4 does not load the modules in the Netvibes website. I've checked it on 5 pc's and all are encounting the same issue.

We utilize Netvibes at work and the modules which are like snipets of webpages do not load with Firefox 4, so we are stuck with Firefox 3.6.8, dues to after this verstion, Netvibes does not work on any further updated versions or Firefox 4.

Create ORM CFC Ajax does not load

I am trying to create ORM CFC with the Adobe CFC Generator. After I select the location for the files it brings up a large window that has in the top left "Create ORM CFC" and a "Close" button at the bottom. The Ajax content in the body is missing. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the component with no luck. The Create CFC works fine.
Anyone have any idea why the Ajax portion won't load?

it again after loading beta 3. After selecting the location I have
the Adobe CFC Generator pop up. The title says Create ORM CFC. The
body is completely blank. Bottom left I have Close button. It looks
like the Ajax portion is not loading. The regular create CFC works fine.

Saving metadata manually - saves to all files, not only touched

Since "Automatically write XMP" didn't work properly before version 1.3, I'm still not using it in 1.3. Still a little scared.
My idea is to once in a while select all pictures (or just right click the topmost folder in the folder view) and select "save metadata". But I did some tests now with various images, and this command actually wrote metadata to ALL selected files, even though no keywords, metadata or adjustsments had been made. The import was done with no preset too.
So how do I ensure that only changes I have made are written to the files and that old files remains untouched? And what imaginary metadata does it write?

Some files may have had metadata written by other applicatons (IPTC - not XMP), but the recent test I did yesterday was fresh files from my cellphone-camera. So what I did was first to select just a few images in the grid and select "save metadata". All files were updated (both the timestamp and the archive-attribute. And with the archive-attribute changes, everything will be backed up again if a normal incremental backup procedure is used). I also right-clicked a folder in the left pane and selected "save metadata" and the same happened.
So I did not do this operation on my whole library, still not trusting LR I prefer to test things in small scale first. Lucky for me.
I checked the files and what had happened is that XMP-data was written to the files. This is just like when I turned on "automatically write XMP" on LR 1.0 - it updated all my image files, even those that was not changed. So it seems I have got almost the same situation again.
So, no - it did not re-write files that had already been touched. This is the first time LR writes to the files, but I don't see why it should write to files that are not changed. I don't agree that LR needs to write to the files once. Why should it? What should it write?
Did this make sense?
Funny, I'm listening to an old Lightroom podcast right now and the team says that one of the design ideas was to be friendly to existing image catalogs. Saving data to unchanged files is not really friendly.

I've been trying to create new Managed Metadata services but get this error when trying to manage them:
The Managed Metadata Service or Connection is currently not available. The Application Pool or Managed Metadata Web Service may not have been started. Please Contact your Administrator.
I've checked that the application pool that the Metadata service uses is running and that the account it's running under is in the farm administrators group. I've checked that the WCF hotfix is applied on the system by re-downloading KB971831 (I have Windows 2K8 SP2) and trying to run it again but it says it doesn't apply to my system (as I had installed it before installing SharePOint)
I'm not sure what else to do - can anyone give any pointers?

I've got the default one working again now, the new one "TM Metadata" has been added but shows the same error on the management page.

UPDATE : I've just gone back to IIS to check the pools and it looks like adding the 2nd metadata store has knocked out the app pool that the SecurityTokenService runs in.

i have at the beginning of a jsp-File (myJSP.jsp) this :

Everythig works fine (like compiling the JSP-File).
But in the Structure-window under JSP-Errors you can see this red Warning:
"Metadata for namespace '/WEB-INF/tld/myTtaglib.tld' is not loaded."
Whats wrong, have someone an idea?
