thanks but what it has to do with my problem?The card layout itself has a method show which enables you to decide which panel is going to be displayed. You don't have to use setVisible type methods.
The preferred size is calculated with all possible cards so you have fewer resizing problems.

Of course, using a JTabbedPane is the most "professional" way to do. It's just that you seemed to be more inclined to use your own JButtons. If so, a card layout might come in handy.

Qestion for implementing Runnable

HI,
I have a function which executes multiple methods and store the result from those methods in List<Stirng> before the last methods executes I need to insert these List<String> values in a database with my dao object.
I was wondering if I do the following:
new Thread(new myInsertWorker()).start();
executeMyFunction();
Would I improve the performance on my program since it is very important for this last function to be fast.
My question is if I insert the strings as a separate thread how do I need to write the thread to be as simple as possible and not cause any performance issues?

Here is my code, I am new to concurrent programming, therefore I move slowly :) and check my code with someone else to prevent issues I am not aware of.
Can I improve this simple piece of code to make sure if it does fail or hangs my application will not be affected?

I am from SD back ground. Please some one can guide us how the accouting documents are creating automatically from customer invoice -

i know first one accounting doc from accout determination while posting to G/L account.But some one with sales/AR back groung experts give me complete details.

When you post any Billing document and customer invoice in SD the GL account assigned in SD for Sales and Cost of sales and Customer and Stocks are posted according to the Billing document and Sale order calculations
now as soon as a FI document ( accounting Document) is posted there are some documents known as
Controlling document , Profit center document and COPA document and Profit center accounting document
are automatically created based on the configuration done by the FI consultant
so it flows from the GL posting to Profitability and special purpose ledger posting automatically once a billing document and invoice is posted

Install new Test Qestion Items in TestAuthor (Authoring Environment)?

Hi everyone!
Does enybody know, is it possible to add new (external) test question types to the existing ones in test author (Authoring Environment).
I would like to add some other question types eg.:
-define order of possibilities;
-choose the most fiting behavour or attribute;
Now there are the following test and rating types: MC (multiple choice) MR (Multiple choice item with two or more right answers), MR Explicite (Multiple choice item with two or more right answers, where the participant is required to make explicit decisions) Fill-in Item (Item with open answer) and Rating.
So is that possible to add NEW test question types to Test Author and also LSO(because later I'd like to play evaluate and collect results of the tests in LSO)

Presently its not possible to add new templates...
as you cannot configure any things while setting up new type of questions.

0DSDEL_DATK (Requested Deliver Date. This is a field in BW) is in DEC format while the source infoobject from SRM, ITM_DELIV_DATE, is in DATS format (yyyymmdd). The infoobject ITM_DELIV_DATE (in SRM) is assigned to the infoobject 0DSDEL_DATK... It returns X in queries executed.

Hi Philips,
this is quite a normal situation in the SRM world.
As the formats are different, the system returns in Standard Query a X.
You need to convert the incoming data to the BW format. Then all data
is available in right format, esp. when you want to have reporting accross
all connected source systems (SRM as well R/3).

It is recommended to keep NWDI always on the highest SP level. But it is also possible to have an NW 04 JDI for NW2004s developments inside the tracks.
