Sorry about the necro, but did you ever figure this out?  I'm running into the same issue.  I think *something* is being written because when I do "efibootmgr -c blahblah", and then I do an efibootmgr -v afterward, I can see the device path that shows up in the verbose options.  Then, when I reboot, I don't see the new boot option in the menu, and when I check again via a livecd (which boots via UEFI, by the way), efibootmgr -v shows "Vendor(99e275e7-75a0-4b37-a2e6-c5385e6c00cb,)" in the extra info next to the boot option I had previously created.  That vendor and GUID seem to show up when there's no path, as I've googled it and have seen similar readouts that imply such based on the context of where I saw them.
Anyway, help.
Thanks.

  • Error while creating logical port for Reporting

    Hi,
In one of the training materials for Duet Enterprise, i saw the steps for creating logical port for the consumer proxy /IWTNG/CO_PXY_RECORDS_REPOSITO.
When i am trying to create the logical port, i am getting an error saying,
" SRT Framework exception: Error in WSDL access: Exception occurred in communication framework:Error in HTTP Framework:500 Native SSL error
    https://<server:port>/_vti_bin/OBAFileReceiver.asmx?wsdl "
I would like to know is it really necessary to create this logical port for "Reporting Scenario" and is it not created automaticallly using the Installation Wizard??
And in case it has to be created, how to resolve this SRT framework exception?
    ~ Ramanath.

    Hi,
the consumer proxy  /IWTNG/CO_PXY_RECORDS_REPOSITO was used in Duet Enterprise SP01. Now with SP02 the consume proxy /IWTNG/CO_OBAFILE_RECEIVER_SOA is created.
However, the SSL error that you are getting looks a little strange (it does not mean that there is an error, but it is worth checking):
So can you go to SOAMANAGER -> Service Administration -> Single Service Configuration. In here select "Consumer Proxy" from the "Search by", Search Pattern "/IWTNG/CO_OBAFILE_RECEIVER_SOA" and Field: Both.
You should find one entry. Select it and click "Apply Selection".
Now go to the Configurations tab. Here you should see one Logical Port with name "LOGICALPORTFORREPORTING" with Creation Type "Manually Created". In fact this logical port was created by the Wizard.
Click on Display and scroll down again. Now in the "Additional Information" tab there is a string after HTTP Destination, e.g. 0050568E3F5A1ED096F22339C44BAF83.
Copy this value and go to your SAP GUI -> Transaction SM59.
Here click on Find/Search and search for this HTTP Destination. You should find one Type G RFC Destination that has the target host of your SharePoint server and the path prefix /_vti_bin/OBAFileReceiver.asmx.
Now you can test the service. Just click on Connection Test. The result should be a HTTP Response: 200.
If not, then something went wrong with the automatic configuration and we should take another look at it (for example maybe the SSL certificate from SharePoint that was imported by the Wizard is not valid)
    Regards,
    Holger.
PS. Don't use the "Ping Web Service" test from SOAMANGER -- unfortunately this is not working consistently.

  • Error while creating logical port from WSDL in SOAMANAGER

    Hi,
I am trying to create a logical port for the webservice TerritoryCRMBasicDataByIDQueryResponse_In with the WSDL
    http://usciq9e.wdf.sap.corp:50077/sap/bc/srt/wsdl/sdef_TERRITORYCRMBASICDATABYIDQUERY/wsdl11/ws_policy/document?sap-client=506
In SOA Manager, I selected the proxy object and clicked on 'Create Logical Port' ,
gave the name and description for the port and set it as default.
    The other settings are :
Configuration type : WSDL based configuration
WSDL base is : Via HTTP Access
Then I gave the address of the WSDL in  the URL and the proper username and password. When I clicked on 'Apply Settings' I get the following error:
"Error when building binding view: Uninstantiated object "subject sidl service" in method IF_SRT_WSP_CONFIG_SIDL~CREATE_CLNT_CFG_FROM_WSDL_D of class CL_SRT_WSP_CONFIG_SIDL "
Please advise me on how to approach the problem.
    Thanks,
    Sashi

  • Error in VT04 - Doesn't create Shipments

    Error in VT04 - Doesn't create Shipments
We have this function module that automatically creates delivery and shipment base from the Goods Receipt.
The problem is it doesn't createe shipment document because the delivery doc doesn't exists.
Upop debugging, the delivery has been created. And appends the delivery number into TVARV table (found in PERFORM CHANGE_VARIANT_VALUES). Then there's this code that it doesn't recognized the delivery that it was created.
    PERFORM CHANGE_VARIANT_VALUES USING VBKOK-VBELN_VL.
          SET UPDATE TASK LOCAL.
          SUBMIT RV56TRGN WITH P_OUT  EQ C_X
                         WITH V_PSEL EQ 'RV56LFSL'
                         WITH V_PSP0 EQ 'RV56TRSP'
                         WITH V_PTR0 EQ ZVXXAUTOGRDN-DATA_OPTS
AND RETURN EXPORTING LIST TO MEMORY.
          COMMIT WORK AND WAIT.
Though in the production this program works. But in QA server it doesn't. I am not sure if this is the effect of a Unicode issue also.
Help me guys.. I just couldn't find in program RV56TRGN on how the values will get from TVARV.
I am not familiar with the command SET UPDATE TASK LOCAL. If this is related to Memory storage that might get the last value.
Points will be given for the helpful ideas. Thanks!

    Hi,
The service contracts guide also says to run 'Installed Base Interface' concurrent program for shippable items. Even after running this concurrent program no contracts is created.
Any step to be done further??

  • Can't create services port in Win2K

    Hello guys:
I was trying to install IDES on my laptop. The OS is Win2K Advanced Server with sp4. But there was a error when I installed the central instance of iDES.
       It said:'opying c:/winnt/system32/drivers/etc/services to c:/winnt/system32/drivers/etc/services.saptmp
Internal error:a call to syslib failed. system error message:no error'. And i thought it should be something wrong when IDES was trying to create service ports. So I opened the 'service' file in the directory which said in the error message, and found that IDES added one line 'sapmszzz 3600/tcp   #sapsystem message port', it should be more than one line, right?
I don't know what happened during the installation, and ask for your help to solve this. Anyone will be appreciated!
    Best Regards!
    Zippo

    Andreas, it's not quite correct:
    The lines look like this:
    sapdb<nn> 32<nn>/tcp
    sapgw<nn> 33<nn>/tcp
    sapms<SID> 36<nn>/tcp
where <nn> should be 00 in this case...
But the service number has to be unique.
If your services contains for example an entry:
    sapmsAAB 3600/tcp
    you will fail to add
    sapmsAAX 3600/tcp
Therefore you typically have to modify the sapms<SID> entry if you install more than one system with the Number 00 to different values.
sapms<XXX> entries have to be identical on all SAP Systems which should talk to another.
    regards
    Peter

  • How to create routed port in Cisco SF-300 Switch

I am trying to create routed ports in SF 300 small business 8 port switch.
    I have 3 different LAN say 192.168.1.0/24, 192.168.2.0/24 and 192.168.3.0/24
I have 3 unmanaged linsys switch where I have connected all these computers.
Now what I have to do is to create routed ports in SF300 and route this networks properly.
Can anybody help me on this? Thanks in advance.

    Dear Shereef,
Thank you for reaching Small Business Support Community.
In Layer 3 system mode, the device can have multiple IP addresses. Each IP address can be assigned to specified ports, LAGs, or VLANs. Operating in Layer 3 mode, the device routes traffic between the directly attached IP subnets configured on the device. In addition, you can manually define default routes.
Configuring the device to work in Layer 3 mode is performed in the Administration >System Settings page.
To define IP addresses on the ports:
IP Configuration > IPv4 Management and Interfaces > IPv4 Interface
To define an IP static route:
Click IP Configuration > IPv4 Management and Interfaces > IPv4 Routes
    Just in case you can check on the admin guide, chapter 16 for a more detailed step by step description;
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/switches/lan/csbms/sf30x_sg30x/administration_guide/78-19308-01.pdf
I hope you find this information useful and please do not hesitate to reach me back if there is any further assistance I may help you with.

  • Why background job sometimes doesn't create something while manually we can

    Hi friends,
Can you help me to understand why Background job doesn't create Outbound Delivery where as manually we can create using VL10B with parameters same as that of the background job variant? The background job calls the program for VL10B.
    Thanks,
    Rana

I have a similar problem on a SAP IS RETAIL site with VL10B.
I have reviewed several notes and the solution should be in using VL10BATCH with a list profile created via VL10CUA.
The list profile should be a copy of :
5002 Run purchase orders in background
into Z002 purchase orders in background
and specify that the F CODE PROFILE is 5001 RUN DELIVERY LIST
The create a variant from VL10BATCH and with the USER ROLE : Z002 (just created above).
Let me know if this helps you.

    Richard ITHIER

  • Adobe Reader XI (11.0.08) doesn't create thumbnail (bitmap) using Microsoft Interface IExtractImage -- Extract on Windows Server 2008 R2, when exe to generate thumbnail is launched from Windows service.

Adobe Reader XI (11.0.08) doesn't create thumbnail (bitmap) using Microsoft Interface IExtractImage --> Extract on Windows Server 2008 R2, when exe to generate thumbnail is launched from Windows service.
But if exe is launched as standalone, then interface IExtractImage --> Extract, gives Bitmap to generate thumbnail of PDF document.
Above problem occurs only for PDF documents, if we tried same with other software like CAD -CATIA it works without any problem.
Is there any security concerns form PDF side, which doesn't allow to generate Bitmaps, if exe to generate it is launched form Windows service.

It might be deliberate, Acrobat and Reader software is not intended to run in a service environment.

  • /etc/crypttab doesn't create /dev/mapper/swap

I'm not lucky with encryption these days: keyfile on USB stick doesn't work ( http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=52507 ), so revert to the passphrase thing.
I had swap encryption working using the old rc.local way etc. now there's a new way... "SWAP" keyword inside /etc/crypttab and no rc.local changes, wonderful right? Wrong. It doesn't work, if you put (example)
    swap /dev/sda3 SWAP -c aes-xts-plain -h whirlpool -s 512
inside /etc/crypttab and reboot, it doesn't create any /dev/mapper/swap device (so it can't swapon).
    Where's the issue?
