Quantity on related products

We are setting up a store that will stock stationery and have related products check boxes for people to add other matching items in the suite using {tag_relatedproductslist}.
For example - a wedding invitation design will have matching RSVP cards, envelopes etc. The customer will have ordered a quantity of invitations (say a min order of 20) and then if they tick that they would like matching RSVP cards we will need the system to add 20 of the RSVP cards to the cart - not just 1.
Is this possible?

Yeah I thought that. But what we need is to take the quantity from the main product and pre populate the related product quantities to the same. I guess some JS would do it?
Or would attributes do this?
If the RSVP card was an attribute (which added to the total price of the product) on the product and they ordered 20 of the main invitation product, will it add 20 of the attribute (one for each product)?
Example Order:
20 x invitations (at $1 each) = $20
They tick the rsvp cards required (attribute box) which then adds
20 x matching rsvp card (as an attribute at 50c each) = $10
To make a total of $30 for the order.
Is that how it would work?

  • Invoiced Quantity grouped by Product Hierarchy

    Hello,
    I am trying to create an Evaluation (tCode MC11) which will report on Invoiced Quantity grouped by Product Hierarchy. I created an evaluation referencing an evaluation structure which references two other eval. structures: one - for data tables VBRP and the  second for info. struct.S004. One of the characteristics is Product Hierarchy. The problem is, that when I execute the evaluation -  I only get 4th level of product hierarchy, but I need to see all four, starting with the first one.
    (I would like it to look like this:
    level 1
         level 2
              level 3
                    level 4
    Thank you in advance for your help,
    Olga

    Antony ,
    there will be maintenance involved every time you add a material to the material master. However you could maintain the hierarchy through a GUI also depending on the number of values.
    Ideally if this can be maintained in a table in the source system , it can be imported into BW. Otherwise if you were to maintain it in BW , you will have a lot of problems when :
    1. Change in the hierarchy - A new Product Line coming in and many product category onwards change over to the new product line.
    2. Viewing the changed hierarchy over time - If you have GM and a separate category called Daewoo , earlier they were separate and now they are one - what are my product sales due to the merged entity vis-a-vis separate entities earlier...
    Things that you will need to consider from a design stand popint are :
    1. Should the hierarchy be time dependent ?
    2. Should it be maintained in the source system or in BW?
    3. Change process for the same - Flat file / Manual
    4. Estimate of how frequent the hierarchy would change?
    5. Will you have display hierarchies - Ad-Hoc hierarchies to view certain combinations?
    Depending on the above your hierarchy creation can go from easy to complex and hard to maintain.
    One way to amintain it is to have a SAP ABAP program to populate a hierarchy table to have the relations in R/3 and transfer them into BW. You could automate it in such a way that the hierarchy is changed every time there is a new material
    Otherwise , there can be a flat file to create the relationships
    Or someone could log a request and if the change is minimal it couldbe done thru a GUI Interface provided by BW.

  • Make related products full width

    Hi There
    I would like to make related products full width.
    http://plan-itcards.businesscatalyst.com/our-products/birthday/birthday-cute/ck266
    I would like to make it span the bottom of the page.
    I’ve been going through the layout and the css but can not find a solution.
    Any help gratefully received
    Tom

    Hi Tom,
    The issue is probably with the 2 <br> tags:
      <div class="shop-product-small clear">  <h5><a href="/our-products/juvenile-age/pclm137">PCLM137</a></h5>  <div class="image"><a href="/our-products/juvenile-age/pclm137"><img id="catsproduct_5237972" src="/images/Cat Small/Products/PCLM137.jpeg" alt="PCLM137" border="0"></a></div>  <ul>  <li class="price">Price: <strong></strong> </li>  <li class="stock">In stock: <strong>N/A</strong> </li>  <li class="quantity">Qty: <strong><input id="Units_5237972" class="productTextInput" name="AddToCart_Amount" type="text" value="1"></strong> <input class="productSubmitInput" name="AddToCart_Submit" type="submit" value="Add to Cart" onclick="AddToCart(16981,5237972,'',3,'','',false);return false;"></li>  </ul>  </div>
    </td></tr></tbody></table>
    <br> <br>  Take these two out it should fix the issue!

  • GR quantity more than production order quantity triggering cost difference

    Hi Gurus,
    We have observed a scenario where the cost(price) dfference account getting hit whenever the GR quantity is greater than the production order total quantity. The dollars posted to this acount are directly propotional to the difference between the GR quantity and the production order quantity.
    The total quantity specified in production order is 1 M2U and GR quantity is 1,000 M2U.Material price is $195.65.
    Accounting Document;
    Inventory account           - 195.65
    Offset account                - 200.00
    Cost difference account  -    4.35
    If we do GR for less than or same quantity as in the production order, this account is not getting triggered.
    Any idea what is causing this scenario? I really appreciate if you can share with any SAP note related to this.
    Thanks,
    Mano.

    Hello Gurus,
    One  more observation is,
    The palnned costs and actual costs are always different when dealing huge quantities. But the cost difference account is only getting triggered if the actual quantity is  more than the palnned quantity.
    And,
    when the difference between atual quantity and palnned quantity is huge then
    Planned costs are booked to the inventory account
    Actual costs are booked to the prodcution cost account.
    Significant cost variance is booked to the cost variance account.
    When the difference between actual quantity is less than/equal to planned quantity is not so huge then
    Actual costs are booked to the inventory account
    Actual costs are booked to the prodcution cost account.
    Is this a standard behaviour?
    Thanks,
    Mano.

  • Related product images too large

    When I add relatedproducts data tag to the product large module or productlarge.htm, the heading and images for the related products are way too large. I need to know exactly where and what code I need to change to edit their size. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks. example: 1932 Ford Car billet aluminum dash insert w/ Auto Meter Arctic White gauges

  • Looking for a clone solution for Oracle WebCenter Content, Imaging and related products

    Hi,
    We are looking for a manual or automated cloning solution for Oracle WebCenter Content (UCM), Imaging (ICM) and related products. Oracle FMW has T2P cloning option, but we are looking for more specific to just this product to clone and configure (if needed). Any help is appreciated.

    Hi
    Assuming you have set up Purchasing with accrual method on receipt (and not on period end), you could enter the PO lines with receipt required. The receipt transactions you are uploading will generate the accounting to charge the expense accounts / or inventory valuation account.
    There is no need to interface those also to Payables. In AP enter one invoice with the real monthly amount and match it to the purchase order level or to the receipts level. Approve and pay that invoice.

  • Is there a liquid tag for related products?

    There does not seem to be liquid tag for related products. I'm now using {tag_relatedproducts}.
    I would like to use {{relatedproducts}} because I would like to use useli="true" to get rid of the default table.
    Am I missing something or is there no liquid tag for related products? It would be helpful to have one.
    If it's not there, is there a different way to use a list instead of a table for related products?
    Thanks.

    The BC team is (rightly) getting away from the tags and parameters that involve HTML code rather than just the raw data.  I would be surprised if this is not one of those on the chopping block.  There would be a need to expose related products in the API though so you can compose a FOR statement and build your own collection but I'm not sure if that is supported or not yet.  Try using module_data with the appropriate resource/subresource and the {{this | JSON}} tag to check.

  • Individual Product - Large and Related Products?

    I'm not sure of the best way to move forward with this... Client MELUKA | New Zealand Made Designer Furniture and Storage for Children, Bedrooms and Living would like to add a new product range of modular sofas that have many fabric types and colours available. They like the functionality of KIVIK Three-seat sofa and chaise longue - Tenö light grey - IKEA but I am already using Related Products
    {tag_relatedproducts,2,true}
    {tag_grouping}
    It's been a while since I set this up and I know there's Poplets that can be used but I just wanted to throw it out there for some expert advice or cool new options available?

    Have you created a default site template within Page Templages with your CSS formatting etc?
    Although Module Templates - Online Shop Layouts are there... they sit inside your site's default page template.

  • How to style 'Related Products' "Buy Now" Button?

    I have been styling my site to the way I want it, but I hit a road block.
    I styled the "Buy Now" button on my store with - input.productSubmitInput in my css stylesheet
    But it is making ALL the Buy Now buttons the same size...
    Now my "Related Products" section is smaller, so I want the "Buy Now" button to be smaller than the regular ones.
    How can I achieve this? I can't seem to target the button in my css file for just my Related Products section...

  • Customizing the Related Products Table

    In working with a responsive layout, I am having trouble working with the Related Products table using the {tag_relatedproducts}. I got the small product layout to respond well, but not when inside the productTable, productItem table elements. Any tricks to having each productItem stack, with each clearing the other?
    Thanks in advance!

    Never mind. I simply applied the following CSS
    tr .productItem {
      width: 100%;
      height: auto;
      clear: both;
      display: block;

  • Related Products, Grouping and Product Attributes?

    My client http://www.meluka.co.nz/home has a new product range of Sofas. A new sub-catalog called Sofas, under the LIVINGroom catalog will be created with the six new products. By selecting a product in this sub-catalog, you are then taken to the Individual Product – Large window. This is where the layout will need to differ as each product has five different fabric options and within these fabric options there needs to be a choice of up to eight fabric colors. I’m already using Grouping & Related Products within the site. Ideally I’d like a dropdown of the different fabric types (as currently used for Grouping) and once this is chosen then the different colors shown (using Related Products) for that fabric type. The problem that I have is that Related Products need to appear in a Catalog (or Sub-Catalog) and I only want one of each of the products appearing on the Sub-Catalog page (i.e. not all the different colors.) It would seem that Product Attributes may be the answer? The large image view needs to show the chosen fabric and color. Promotion starts next week so mildly panicking…

    A combination of mandatory attribute groups, non mandatory attribute groups and javascript to show hide them based on the needs you mentioned above would be what I would be doing in that case.

  • Related products items overlapping

    Hi,
    I've set the related products at the bottom of the page, I'm trying to adjust the spacing between the items.
    I can't seem to find the CSS to modify this. Please help.
    http://puzzlefurniture.worldsecuresystems.com/lounge-suite/bolzano-2-seater-sofa
    Thanks!

    Hey,
    This is happening because the 3 product images are sqezed in this column - http://screencasteu.worldsecuresystems.com/Mihai/2012-08-06_1133.png
    To prevent this from happening you will need to overwrite the width=100% property here - http://screencasteu.worldsecuresystems.com/Mihai/2012-08-06_1134.png - in this example I have manually set it to 800px. The other way around would be to modify the layout of the page.

  • Product cost collector for sales order related production

    Hi Friends,
    This is Azam and here i am new to this discussion forum.
    we are in situation that use diffrent variant for configurable material in sales order related production,
    I would like to have some information about use product cost collector for this kind of sales order related production,
    also I want to know difference between prelimanary cost estimate or cost estimate for sales order?
    Please co-operate me.
    I would be highly appriciated if you can respond at the earliest.
    Thanks
    Azam

    Hi,
    Here, for each sales order item, you will have sales order cost estimate. This enables the system to compute the variances once the actual costs are booked against the production.
    In the case of preliminery cost, we get the preliminery cost for production order as a plan cost and is not being used for the computation of variance but only for comparision purpose which is very marginally used.
    Trust this helps much and do encourage our efforts!
    Cheers!
