quando entro no site aparece varias letras e numeros que acho que é a fonte e nao consigo entrar ema nada por causa disso vo mandar o que aparece :

I have had a similar problem with my system. I just recently (within a week of this post) built a brand new desktop. I installed Windows 7 64-bit Home and had a clean install, no problems. Using IE downloaded an anti-virus program, and then, because it was the latest version, downloaded and installed Firefox 4.0. As I began to search the internet for other programs to install after about maybe 10-15 minutes my computer crashes. Blank screen (yet monitor was still receiving a signal from computer) and completely frozen (couldn't even change the caps and num lock on keyboard). I thought I perhaps forgot to reboot after an update so I did a manual reboot and it started up fine.
When ever I got on the internet (still using firefox) it would crash after anywhere between 5-15 minutes. Since I've had good experience with FF in the past I thought it must be either the drivers or a hardware problem. So in-between crashes I updated all the drivers. Still had the same problem. Took the computer to a friend who knows more about computers than I do, made sure all the drivers were updated, same problem. We thought that it might be a hardware problem (bad video card, chipset, overheating issues, etc.), but after my friend played around with my computer for a day he found that when he didn't start FF at all it worked fine, even after watching a movie, or going through a playlist on Youtube.
At the time of this posting I'm going to try to uninstall FF 4.0 and download and install FF 3.6.16 which is currently on my laptop and works like a dream. Hopefully that will do the trick, because I love using FF and would hate to have to switch to another browser. Hopefully Mozilla will work out the kinks with FF 4 so I can continue to use it.
I apologize for the lengthy post. Any feedback would be appreciated, but is not necessary. I will try and post back after I try FF 3.16.6.

Here's a summary: I used custom fonts instead of letting each website display their own. This led to sites like Github not displaying some icons. I enabled the option to let sites use their own fonts, and the icons in Github are fixed, but I have another problem:

That is most certainly NOT the website's custom font. It's HelveticaNeue-LightExt for some reason.Reddit suggested I use a script with Greasemonkey, but I like to keep my addons at the necessary minimum, and I know there's something weird going on here. If I use another profile, such as with Tor, the sites display just fine. In fact the first time I tested it with Tor, I restarted my regular Aurora session and the websites displayed proper fonts. A few minutes later, and for no apparent reason, they were back to HelveticaNeue.
Basically, I want to let sites display their custom fonts properly, without the need of an add on, and without losing my current profile.

Troubleshooting
How to disable extensions and themes
Disabling an extension or theme will turn it off without removing it:
At the top of the Firefox window, click on the Firefox button, and then click Add-ons. The Add-ons Manager tab will open.
In the Add-ons Manager tab, select the Extensions or Appearance panel.

Having a font that not everybody has on your website.

So, now I'm trying to finish up my website with a Font I have. I found the @font-face, but I can't seem to get it working..

That's the code I used. The format is called KhmerMN and I converted it to .woff, .tff and .svg and .eot. I also uploaded the fonts in a Font folder that is also in the public_html folder. Only problem is, I can't seem to get it to work. Am I doing something wrong in the code?

The font-family declaration in your blockquote css has a space in it.

Lines 111-115. You need to remove that space and it should start working. Little things are killers. You may also want to run your page through the validator at http://validator.w3.org to clear up the other html errors in your site.

I reviewed your screenshot. Fonts selected are web safe. I edited the global stylesheet in Dreamweaver after exporting to html to reflect the desired web safe font. Now fonts are very inconsistent. Some are as they should be and others are not. See screenshots.
Is there anyone else that knows of a solution or is this a glitch that has not been resolved yet?

Não consigo acessar qualquer site da google que dá 'Esta conexão não é confiável'

Há mais ou menos uma semana, toda vez que tento entrar em qualquer site da google e agora, está acontecendo em quase todos os sites que tento entrar, está aparecendo a mensagem "Esta conhexão não é confiável", então aperto em adicionar exceção, tudo certinho. Mas exemplo, o facebook após adicionar a excessão, não carrega nada, nenhuma imagem e já outros sites como google mesmo, quando tento entrar novamente, dá a mesma mensagem, como se não tivesse adicionado a exceção. Já tentei restaurar o firefox, já desinstalei-o duas vezes também e nada. E não fiz nenhum download recente de nenhum antivirus, nada. Isso também esta acontecendo com alguém? Alguém tem ideia do que posso fazer? Pois o google chrome é muito ruim, ele trava toda hora e não é problema de atualização, pois atualizei e no mesmo dia travou e muito.

Este pacote de instalação não pôde ser aberto.

Não consigo instalar o iTunes, baixei o instalador pelo site oficial, o instalador é 64 bit, meu windows é 8.1 de 64 bit, quando executo o aplicativo de instalação aparece o seguinte erro "Este pacote de instalação não pôde ser aberto. Verifique se o pacote existe e se você pode acessá-lo, ou entre em contato com o fornecedor do aplicativo para verificar se este é um pacote válido do Windows Installer."
Já baixei vários outros programas de outros editores e eles funcionaram perfeitamente, somente os da apple dão esse problema (quando tento instalar o Quick Time aparece o mesmo erro), sou a única entre meus amigos com esse sistema operacional que está tendo esse erro, já tentei baixar versões anteriores do iTunes e não consigo também.

Estava com o mesmo problema e o que acontecia era o seguinte ao tentar iniciar o Firefox aparecia a seguinte mensagem:
O perfil Firefox não pôde ser carregado. Ele pode não existir ou estar inacessível (1ª imagem).

Após clicar em Ok nesta mesma caixa de diálogo nada mais acontecia e nem no modo de segurança ele estava inicializando.
Eu acho que a pasta de perfil tinha sido excluída do sistema, agora a pergunta é se este fosse o caso como deveria proceder?
Resolvido: Pra minha sorte eu havia feito backup (procure fazer isso periodicamente para evitar transtornos futuros) das minha extensões e favoritos pelo FEBE mas dá para fazer o mesmo clicando em Ajuda, Dados para suporte, na tela seguinte no campo que diz Pasta do perfil clique em "abrir pasta" a seguir copie os dados da pasta para um lugar seguro e na hora de restaurar tudo basta colar tudo de volta para a pasta exibida pelo Firefox.
Eu aqui tive que reinstalar o Firefox, antes disso eu tive que desinstalar o mesmo, pois se você restaurá-lo vai dar o mesmo erro, ao desinstalar na tela que segue (2ª Imagem) marque o campo Excluir meus dados pessoais e personalizações do Firefox.
Só fazendo isso é que o erro irá desaparecer após isso é só completar a desinstalação e reinstalar o Firefox normalmente e restaurar todos os dados do mesmo.
Seu Firefox já está pronto pra outra, espero ter ajudado.
