Query HUD not listing Keyword Parent Group

I've been using keywords through grouped sets. For instance. Same guy (John Doe) under two seperate parents:
Family > John Doe
Work > John Doe
This typically produces a result in the query (search) HUD like:
John Doe (Family)
John Doe (Work)
However, I have two names that are not doing this. They Display like:
John Doe
John Doe
If you check one or the other and look at the individually files with the inspector the keywords do list thier proper group. Additionally, if you go to the project itself...and use a query...in one project it may work and the other it may not.
I've tried rebuilding the library but can't figure out why these are caching differently.
Anyone have any ideas?

Well...after much research, this seems to be a bug in the HUD.
After rebuilding did nothing...I started a new library and did some experimenting while looking at the actual 'version-1.apversion' file that is stored with each photo. (Apparently, this is the data that is parsed to rebuild the database.) The file structure of the displaying groups and non-displaying groups seems to be indentical. Therefore, I began to suspect that this was a problem with the way Aperture was displaying them.
Indeed it seems to be. I began testing by making identical keyword of 12 letters and 1 space under multiple parents named

1234567...so on
Once the combination of Keyword and Parent contained more than 20 letters, it ceased to work properly. BUT THIS IS THE STRANGE PART...if the combination of keyword and parent was more than 25 letters, Aperture will begin displaying an abrevated version. For instance...
Gymanstics >Lauren Hodges
will display 'Lauren Hodges'
but
Gymanstics A > Lauren Hodges
will display 'Lauren Hodges (Gymn...)
This also explains why sometimes using the library search HUD vs. a project search HUD yields different results. The number of items helps detirmine the size of the HUD list and therefore column widths, i guess.
There you have it. Don't rebuild for this issue.

I copied the one existing transaction i.e. Z10SD25 and made the new transaction.
Also i created the new Infoset and Query in an existing User group.
I also assigned the Infoset to user group and query to Infoset.
But while running the new transaction it is giving me error that 'Query does not exist in user group'.

Hi,
After assigning the Infoset to user group and query to Infoset, click on 'Generate' button.
Note: The query can only be generated when the InfoSet is assigned to a user group.
Also check whether the usergroup is given or not for queries.

Dsget - query users *NOT* part of a group

Hi all,
Is it possible to query a distribution group, to display users *NOT* part of that group? Basically I need to work out which users are missing from a particular group. I can use dsget to obtain a list of members in part of a group but I need to do the reverse;
"tell me who are missing from groupA". Is this possible?

You can retrieve the DN of all users in the domain that are not direct members of a specified group using dsquery. For example (this is one line):
dsquery * -filter "(&(objectCategory=person)(objectClass=user)(!(memberOf=TestGroup,ou=West,dc=MyDomain,dc=com))) -limit 0 > NotInGroup.txt
You must specify the full Distinguished Name of the group in the (memberOf=xxx) clause. In this case I redirected the output to a text file, NotInGroup.txt. However, since the "Primary" group of a user is never included in the memberOf attribute of
the user, this will not work if the specified group is the "primary" for any users. This limitation should only apply to the group "Domain Users", which by default is "primary" for all users. There are other ways to handle this if the group is "primary"

Query HUD Not Working Properly

I am trying to do a find, based on a rating, in the Query HUD. I enter Rating is greater than or equal to 1 star. However, the find results show many images that have no stars and does not show other images that have one or more stars. What am I doing wrong?

Why RADIUS is not listed on ACS "Group Setup" list ?

On ACS 3.3, I go to main menu,
I choose "Interface Configuration".
I make sure that "IETF RADIUS Attributes" is selected.
Then I refresh the browser, I go to "Group Setup".
On the top of the page, I attempt to pick "RADIUS" configuration. However it doesn't appear listed there.
As you can see on the attached bitmap, only few options are available even though I selected a number of them from User Interface as an exercise.
Please note that I already mapped a couple of Windows groups to the respective ACS Groups so
that I configure VPN and Wireless authentication.
Any idea what am I missing here ?
Why RADIUS configuration option doesn't show up ?
I already attempted to close and relaunch ACS Admin,
no progress.

In fact I don't recall I added a "RADIUS device";
Is that just a configuration or do I need to physically connect a special server there ?
Sorry for my ignorance, but I thought that the ACS server I am working on would be the provider of RADIUS services ? Can you clarify that ?

Applications Not Listed in Parental Controls

Has anyone cracked the mystery of what causes an application to be listed (or not) in the list of applications in the Parental Controls panel of System Preferences under the "Other" application category? I'm trying to add a newly-installed application to that list. At first glance it seems to be configured similarly to another application that does appear in that list. Thanks for any information.

I believe I've learned a little more about this problem. When I do an "ls -l" command in the Terminal utility, at least some of the third-party applications that I can see in the Parental Controls list have an at-sign ("@") just after the permission settings, for example, "drwxrwxr-x@". Those without it don't appear. The "man" page for "ls" mentions an at-sign after the permissions settings meaning extended attributes. When I execute the command "ls -l -@" on one of those applications with extended attributes, I'm shown the attribute "com.apple.FinderInfo 32". How can I apply that attribute to the other applications? Thanks for any advice.
Edit: A little more research revealed a mention of an "xattr utility", but there's no "man" page entry for that.
Edit #2: Another comment mentioned that xattr is part of the BSD package. I would have thought I'd have installed that, but I can't find it.

Oracleasm listdisks is not listing all disk groups and returning "strange special characters" and disks groups are dismounting unexpected

I have a 3 node Oracle Cluster with verstion 11.2.0.3.0 installed using ASM/ACFS/ADVM.
Red Hat 5.7 - Kernel 2.6.18-371.12.1.el5 64bits
OracleASM version:

On may, 2014 we had a physical failure in our storage system and all our disk partitions were completely lost.
The Oracle Grid Infrastructure and Oracle RDBMS haven't needed to be reinstalled because they were healthy.
The Oracle Cluster Registry (OCR) was lost (it was composed by three ASM disk groups in a redundant structure) and after recreation of the OCR disk groups I recover the Oracle Registry information from backup.
All cluster information were recovered (listener, SCAN, VIP, databases and services)
Databases could not be started because all ASM disk groups have been lost and oracle ASM instance (asmcmd -p) was showing all disk groups, but they were all "empty" - the physical partition related with them were recreated.
All the "old" disk groups were dropped, and the "new" disk groups were recreated and all the backups from the databases were restored.
After all services were up, and the environment seems to be OK, I check the healthiness of it, by executing the oracle cluster post-installation tool and others verify tools (crsctl and srvctl), well all returning messages saying that the environment was completely OK and no errors were found or generated (including in many log files I have inspected)
After 2 weeks from the completely recover of the environment, without any error/failure message been received from it, the disk groups started to dismount unexpectedly, from whatever node and not only one specific disk group stops, but any one of them, any time.
I opened a SR in Metalink (Oracle Support) and they conduct me to upgrade RedHat kernel version and OracleASM version.
Simultaneously I opened a Case Solution in RedHat to help me identify the better way to do the upgrade in advantage of the Oracle specifications.

Well, after this upgrade less times the disk groups dismounted, but they continue dismounting from whatever node, any disk group, any time.
So, I opened another SR in Metalink (3-10143566371 still open) and they are conducting me again to upgrade the RedHat kernel version and OracleASM version.

Wait for the SR feedback.
But for the future I advice you to do an ASM Metadata backup to be able to restore this data if you lost
configurations or complete disks and so on.
asmcmd md_backup -b <Pfad>/Filename
and also an ocrconfig backup via crontab.
ocrconfig -local -manualbackup

Removing prev added keywords from main Query HUD

Can anybody help with this ....
I've been keywording a back-catalogue in Aperture over the last 2-3 days, mostly with a dedicated keywords I've prepared in the Keyword HUD, but also some misc ones. I can see that every keyword I've used to-date is logged in the Keyword section of the main library Query HUD, and it's packed with them.
Does anybody know how I can selectively remove applied keywords from the Query HUD list (not the Keyword HUD)?
(Hope that makes sense!!)

I see this as a bug and I've reported it as such.
If you start a Query HUD from a folder or project and then look at the keywords, it only shows keywords that exist among pictures within that folder or project.
If you start a Query HUD from "Library", however, it shows every single keyword ever entered, even if you are no longer using the keyword. This clutters up the HUD big time.

Need a Way to Clear Keywords from Query HUD

I like using the Query HUD to select a variety of criteria (show me images in this import session with three or more stars keyworded "times square").
But if I select a large project, there might be hundreds of keywords. (In my 2009 project alone, I have over 200 keywords so far.)
Problem: if I have several hundred keywords, I can't tell if any of them are checked. The only way is to slowly scroll through the entire list looking for the checked boxes. And the only way to uncheck a keyword is to find it and manually uncheck it.
The keywords section needs a "clear" button.
I find this frustrating several times a week.
(Another problem is that the dialog box is not expandable -- I can only see about 50 keywords at a time.)

Found it. Hold down option and command and click on a new keyword and it unselects all the others (Same command as iCal)

Cannot update or repopulate keyword field in smart album query HUD

So I want to make a new smart album based on a new keyword I just entered into my keyword library.
However, when I create the new smart album, and then check the key words box to select keyword criteria, I only get an old list of keywords to choose from. The new key word is not there. And there are old key words there that I've since deleted. I've tried restarting aperture and my computer several times.
I cannot make a smart album with one new keyword I've created because It won't show up in the query HUD.
Any ideas?

How did you enter it in your keyword library?
You have to keyword something before it will show up in the filter.

Ad hoc query does not contain a list

Hi,
We created an infoset using table join (T5U13, PA0001 and T5UEE). But as we run transaction PAAH and choose a query assigned to the new infoset, we are getting a pop up screen that says "Query does not contain a list". The button hitlist does not appear in the screen and when we try to search we get the prompt "No data was selected".

I am getting the similar error.waht i have done is as follows.may I know the resolution.
After creating the Adhoc query using the join table functionality the resulting adhoc query does not results any out put.
What I have done is :
1.Created a user group through SQ03
2.Attched user to My user group
3.Created an infoset using join table functionality(SQ02).
4.Saved and generated the infoset
5.Added the user group to the infoset and than run the ADHOC query.
The table I have used to join is all PA table (For test pupose)
Though the purpose of the custom infoset is to join PA,OM and E rec infotypes, for testing purpose I have joined only PA infotypes.
Result:The adhoc query does not gives any out put instead it says no data could be read.
Could you please tell what else I need to do so that the custom infosets gives an out put.
Will greatly appreciate your help.

Defaulting query to SAP LIST VIWER not working! Please help!

I have some query's created in old version (4.6C) and we upgraded to ECC6.0. When you go to "SQ01"-Display you will see query properties and display is defaulted to "SAP list viewer". This works fine in older version but in newer version the query returns blank report!!! When I go to paramters selection page it does not show the options to select different outputs!! When I change it to ABAP LIST VIEWER in the properties and run the query, it works fine and also on the parameters selection page it shows th options for other displays! If I select "SAP LIST VIEWER" here it works fine!! Only when it is defaulted to "SAP LIST VIEWER" the query does not return anything! Did anyone face this problem before in newer version (ECC6.0)? Please give me any information you have. I will reward all the answers.

Hi Mithun,
This is happening because SAP has changed the approach of creating the standard program based on the selection of output type.
Now SAP calls a FM when you select SAP list viewer in the query.
If you see the code generated when you choose different output type you will understand why it is happening.
So it is better to select the output type as ABAP LIST VIEWER and then only change the output at the time of execution if required.

I have been successfully sending out e-mails to all people listed in a Group Address but yesterday only some of the people received their mail. Today I split the list, 25 in each Group Address, again, the same people did not receive their e-mail. Why?

I have been successfully sending out e-mails each month to about 50 people whose addresses are listed under a Group Name. Yesterday about half of the e-mails were received, the other half weren't. So I tried splitting the group into 2 separate Groups, again the list who didn't receive the first mailing again did not receive the second mailing. There does not seem to be anything that connects the recipients or non-recipients. They have a mix of providers, it was not just the first half of list that was affected, it appears to be totally random. Any suggestions?

Are those from NDRs someone in your organization received, or are they from NDRs received by a sender outside your organization?
Is 68.232.130.28 your IP address? The IP address resolves to the name esa2.firstam.iphmx.com. Is that a MX for the recipient's domain?

For troubleshooting your issue, please go to C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\wss\VirtualDirectories\ find your Web Application (represented by a port number), then delete an unknown folder created by sharepoint, namely vti_cnf from all the folders and sub-folders in
your web application.

Can I create a group in which the members are not listed?

My organization is jumpy about revelaing "private" information (in ths case e-mail addresses) "publically." Is there a way to create a group so that the e-mais of individual members are not listed (e.g., "undisclosed recipients""

Go to the Mail Menubar/Mail/Preferences/Composing/Addressing: Uncheck: When sending to a group, show all member addresses.
