Can someone please help its really kind of urgent

check the cardinalities: the CBO expects to access only a few rows and uses a lot of NL joins - and that's probably not the best solution. You could start with a llok at the cardinality of step 5, the index range scan on ps_c1. The CBO expects only 6 rows - is this a good guess? Of course you could just create a plan with rowsource statistics (gather_plan_statistics hint) and compare E- and A-rows.

  • SQL with connect by prior running for a long time

    Hi,
We are using Oracle 10g. Below is a cursor sql which is having performance issues. The pAccountid is being passed from the output of a different cursor. But this cursor sql is running for a long time. Could you please help me in tuning this sql. I believe the subquery with connect by prior is causing the trouble.
The TRXNS is a huge table which is not partitioned. The query is forced to use the index on the accountid of the TRXNS table.
The accountlink table has 20,000 records and the TRXNStrack table has 10,000 records in total.
This sql executes for 200,000 pAccountids and runs for more than 8 hours.
    SELECT /*+ INDEX(T TRXNS_ACCOUNTID_NIDX) */ AL.FROMACCOUNTID oldaccountid ,
                                    A.ACCOUNTNUM  oldaccountnum,
                                   T.TRXNSID,
                                   T.TRXNSTYPEID,

                       WHERE AL.TOACCOUNTID IN

  • A script in file EditingUtils.js has been running for a long time

Hello Everyone.   I just downloaded Dreamweaver CS 5.5 Trial version (Win 7), and I have been working on my home page.  I've created a wonderful image map with spry widget tooltips (about 60 tooltips), and I'm really happy with the results....until this error started to pop-up.  I have re-started the computer, deleted winfilecache****, and updated Dreamweaver through the help window.   I have googled this error, and found it existed in CS3 and CS4, and even in CS5, but no information as to why it's happening in CS 5.5.    I really want to buy this software, but am unsure as to why I would spend this amount of money on something that's going to give me a headache.  I am a layman, and work on my site recreationally.  I'm new to CSS and Spry so if i missed the obvious I apologize for that.   I inserted the spry widgets in the CODE screen by highlighting my hotspot CODE and clicking INSERT>SPRY>SPRYTOOLTIP.  Each tooltip is checked to "follow on mouse" and "hide on mouse out" and horizontally moved -400.
So now every time I open this page in Dreamweaver this error "A script in file EditingUtils.js has been running for a long time.  Do you wish to continue?" pops up, and whenever i try to edit the spry tooltip properties.  Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere.  thanks for your help and time.  Part of the code looks like this: //
    <area shape="poly" coords="89,180,68,203,60,213,65,232,96,225,103,201,101,188" href="#" id="sprytrigger57" />
    <div class="tooltipContent" id="sprytooltip57">
    <p><img src="images/Constellations/Corvus.jpg" width="199" height="170" alt="Corvus" />CORVUS (The Crow, or Raven).</p>
<p> Birds of prey devouring him.</p>
    </div>
          var sprytooltip57 = new Spry.Widget.Tooltip("sprytooltip57", "#sprytrigger57", {offsetX:-403, closeOnTooltipLeave:true, useEffect:"fade", followMouse:true});
    </script>
Hope I included most everything needed to diagnose, let me know what I forgot.  Thanks again.

oops i tried to copy the code here but it didn't work. Is this better?

    <p>Ps 19:1-6<br />
1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.</p>
<p> 2 Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.</p>
<p> 3 There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.</p>
<p> 4 Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,</p>

    <p>Ps 19:7-14<br />
7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.</p>
<p> 8 The statutes of the LORD are right,  rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.</p>
<p> 9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.</p>
<p> 10 More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.</p>
<p> 11 Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.</p>
<p> 12 Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults.</p>
<p> 13 Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.</p>
<p> 14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.<br />

remote client copy (SCC9) runs a very long time!
how to do it quickly process?
(eg use imp and exp-oracle tool, as it can be done to understand what the SAP data has been copied and are now in a different location, for Developers)

    Hi,
You can export the client, as well but it will take long time too, depended to your client size. Please note that client copy operation should be performed by standard SAP client management tools, such as client export/import or remote copy.
Ask this question to SAP support first. Technically, you can choose many ways to copy a SAP client, but as far as I know that SAP will not support you (such as errors you faced during the client export/import or the problems related by the copy operation), if you use any other 3rd party tool while for the client copy purposes.

    Hi,
I believe this would be your Prod system, so don't just cancel it but look at the job log. If it is still processing then don't kill it and wait for the change run to complete but if you can see that nothing is happening and it is stuck for a long time then you can go ahead and cancel it.
But please be sure, as these kind of jobs can create problems if you cancel them in the middle of a job.

"A script in file C:\ProgramFiles\Adobe\Aobe Dreamweaver CS4\Configuration\Shared\Spry\DesignTime\EditingUtils.js has been running for a long time. Do you want to continue?"
I get the error when I open a page that has several spry elements, even after shutting down my computer and rebooting. It has over 100 spry collapsible panels, which each have their own name, ie: var CollapsiblePanel108 = new Spry.Widget.CollapsiblePanel("CollapsiblePanel108")
I read that editing the parameters of a widget may cause problems for CS3, and it is resolved for CS3: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/401/kb401257.html, but I don't know how to fix the problem for CS4.
    Any help is greatly appreciated!

I think you have answered your own question. More than 100 Spry collapsible panels is not exactly what most people would call "several". It's a huge - and probably unrealistic - amount.
I don't think there is an actual limit on the number of Spry elements that you can have on a page, but Dreamweaver uses JavaScript in the background to inspect the document and edit it. The more elements you have, the greater the processing power and memory your computer requires to handle them. It might work with a faster processor or more RAM, but I think you need to reconsider your design strategy.

  • Dreamweaver script running for a long time issue

    Hi there,
having a recurring problem with the BC extension for Dreamweaver. Using Adobe Cloud CS6 and a mac. I get the following error message whenever the BC extension is open, and really the best way to get rid of it is to close the extension. I've googled the issue and there's a few things relating to other .js files, but I'd like to avoid having to reinstall CS6 if I can!
    Error msg:
A script in file Macintosh HD:Applications:Adobe Dreamweaver CS6:Configuration:Shared:BC:JS:bc_sites.js has been running for a long time. Do you want to continue?

    Hi
    This might help: http://helpx.adobe.com/dreamweaver/kb/re-creating-dreamweaver-user-configuration.html
Give it a try and let me know if you still experience the same issue. The article is a little old, so you'll have to adapt the links there to your current install (C:\Users\your username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe)
    Kind Regards,
    Alex

  • My experience installing CF7 (From a long-time CF admin and user)

I am a long-time administrator of Coldfusion and a serious
designer. I've used Coldfusion since version 2 and am the person
who brought CF into our architecture as a keystone technology.
In all of that time, I've *never* had the problems I've had
with installing version 7 to a number of servers in my research
laboratory. I'm a paying client who has serious investment in
Coldfusion through quite a serious chunk of my enterprise. I'm the
corporate webmaster for my company, and to be honest, I'm less than
pleased with this inferior release and seeming inability of
Abobe/Macromedia to insure quality control on ALL apsects of their
    operation.
I have just spent the last 3 days in a knock-down drag out
battle with my simple Windows XP dev laptop to install the product
for a project I'd like to work on. Similarly, a number of my
laboratory systems have had equally interesting issues with their
installation process and once again, equally unacceptable results
until I arm-wrestled these systems into place.
So... For the benefit of those who have been around the block
like myself, I offer some of my experience:
    1. Use install disks rather than the horrid download that
flat DOES NOT WORK from Macromedia for "tryout" of product... What
a waste of time and effort. The effect of this has been to turn off
many prospective customers and fans of the product. Who is driving
the boat on this disasterous course and quality control issue? Is
this some kind of "drive the customer" away ploy for some new
product or platform to be offered?
    2. Followed instructions at
    http://www.macromedia.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?id=tn_19575
    - This finally worked IF you pay detailed attention to every last
detail. You can "borrow" jrun.dll from another successful install
of CF 7 if you can get your hands on the DLL or go spend more time
learning how to extract the file as noted in some of the
literature, which, to a paying customer, should be documented in
detail with the article... Quit sending people on wild-goose
    chases.
    3. Once install occured for me on laptop, I had problems with
the login for cfide/admin - The migration wizard would not let me
go further. It always returned me back to login prompt. I looked
into the matter further and decided to "borrow" the neo-query.xml
file from a seasoned system and use it on my laptop to kick-start
the final part of my install. This worked and I now can control my
    server.
Summary: I've fought version 7 from day one. My advice is to
abandon downloads from Macromedia on the product and go with
requesting install disks that actually do give you a shot at making
the product work. Secondly, realize that there may be other issues
with the install once you do get the product to communicate with
your server and be willing to research the issues, since, once you
find the answers, the product actually works pretty nicely.
Thirdly, Write letters like I am doing now to tell Macromedia/Abobe
how you feel about this inferior and totally unacceptable
installation procedure and to improve the quality of their download
    trials.
Personally, I think there should be a kit made available with
a full copy of the CFusionMX7 directory set up as a virgin and
workable install to fix the rash of issues out there. If not
available from Macromedia, then I'd suggest that it be made
available on user Coldfusion forums and sites to ease the pain and
let the bloody system work for those who just want to build cool
things with what has always been the superior web development
    toolset.
I love Coldfusion, but if this is the future, I certainly
know my options with Blue Dragon and other platforms... I'd hate to
lose my confidence in Adobe/Macromedia, but this latest set of
issues has me wondering exactly what is going on over at the
    Coldfusion labs...
I hope my experience and advice help others who may be going
through the same challenges I have faced...
    Jon

    Jon,
As another long time CF Admin/Dev I second everything you've
    said here..
    I've been using the CFMX/JRun mix for years now and love it;
but I'm always finding myself spending way too much valuable time
looking through these boards for solutions.
I particularly like the idea of setting up a 'kit' with a
full dir structure, etc. - That would be a great idea for newer
users.. I'd also like to see better commenting or readmes that
fully explain the configuration options for all files - such as all
of the xml files under the WEB-INF dir..
There have been a few too many times that I've looked in the
documentation only to have it tell me to get a book for 'advanced
config options' - and I wouldn't consider any of what I'm looking
to do to be 'advanced'.. thank god for Ben Forta!

  • Query in other schema take long time????

    Hi All,
I am working on two different schemas in the same database say A and B.
In schema A, I have a table tbl which is having approximately 70,000 rows.
The table tbl is having an index. When I query on this table tbl in schema A the query out put is given in 10 minutes.
But when I query on the same table tbl in schema B the out put takes an hour.
Please explain me the reason why the query takes such a long time in schema B.
    Thanks in advance
    Kaustubh

Please post the execution plans of the query from both databases.
Do you have proper statistics gathered on these tables?

  • SPAM update running for a long time in MAIN_IMPORT - NW 7.0 SR3

    Hi,
I have installed NW 7.0 SR3 -> AS ABAP. I am trying to update SPAM. My current version is 7.00/0026. I tried updating it to patch level 33 and 36 but during both the updates SPAM is taking an awful amount of time in the MAIN_IMPORT phase. Update to patch level 33 has been running for almost a week now after i used 'R3trans -i' from the command line as a last-ditch effort. a 'trans.log' file is being continuously updated. Any ideas on why just SPAM update is running for so long?

  • Attribute Change run taking too long time to complete.

    Hi all,
Attribute change run has been taking too long time to complete. It has to realign 50 odd aggreagates, some by delta , some by reconstruction. But inspite of all the aggregates it used to finish in quick time earlier. But since last 4-5 days it is taking indefinite time to finish.
Can anyone please suggest what all reasons may be causing this? and what possibly can be the solution to the problem? It is becoming a big issue. So kindly help with ur advises.
Promise to reward your answer liberally.
    Regards,
    Pradyut.

    Hi,
Check with your functional owners in R/3 if there are mass changes/realignments or classification changes are going on regarding master data. e.g. reasigning materials to other material groups. This causes a major realignment in BW for all the aggregates. Otherwise check for parameterchanges / patches or missing db stats with your sap basis team.
    Kind regards, Patrick Rieken.

    (SELECT TXT.SQLTEXT FROM PS_CUSTOM_TBL TXT WHERE TXT.SQLID = :1") WHERE SQ.SQLID = :2;
:1 = sqlid from custom table which has custom SQLIDS and custom SQLS provided
    :2 = "PS_DYN_AE MAIN Step01 S"
SQLid OF an sql action in an AE.
The update works fine in the backend when executed separately
Though the sql updates only one row it takes a long time when FieldChange is triggered and the PIA logs out ..
PS:The values required for the SQLExec that is :1 and :2 are fetched correctly when the FieldChange is Triggered.
I have verified this using the MessageBox which Popped up the parameters before the SQLExec was triggered.
Any idea or solution why such error occurs would be really helpful
    Thanks
    Niranjan

Answer to that would be No.
PeopleCode does not allow and is not intended to manipulate PeopleSoft Tools data.
I have to ask you, why you want to do this exercise?
You should avoid as much as possible to use SQL in PeopleCode, because
    - this is not checked by the PeopleCode compiler for correctness
    - can be a performance killer
    - possible data integrity issues due to not inserting/updating all relevents tables
    - any errors are not to be caught by the application and sql error are presented to the user
So, do not use SQL unless all other options fail to do the job and definitely do not alter data in PeopleTools tables!
This could make the entire application crash and the only solution would be to restore your database, with all data transactions lost untill the restore point.
You should rather look at using metasql and dynamic sql building within the application engine.
    See PeopleBooks on this subject.

    Hi,
Chk the extraction job in source system whether it is finished...?
Go via environment>job overview>in the sourcesystem....with logon details and chk the log whether it is finished....?
Chk the log clearly such that the idoc generation is increasing or not?
I guess the extraction might be finished only  BI system is waiting for the confirmation from source to finish the load...wait for some ore time...
Ch in monitor details tab whether ur data extraction, transfer and processing finished or not?
If it is finished then goto SM58 of R/3 and chk for idoc's...if there manuallly push by selecting each and click F6...
