Query problem, no data exist

Dear Experts,
My user would like to combine data from FBl3N (field BUDAT, amount in document currency, amount in local currency , reference document) with data taken from Billing (VF03- FKDAT, BUDAT, VBELN, CHARG, MATNR, ARKTX).
I have created a query with the following join table:
1. VBRP (FKIMG, MATNR, WERKS, CHARG, PRCTR)
2. VBRK (FKDAT, VBELN, BUDAT).
3. BSIS (XBLNR, WRBTR, DMBTR)
Join condition : BSIK&VBRP (BUKRS, GJAHR), VBRP & VBRK (VBELN).
While executed the query ( SQ01), u2018no data existu2019 message is appear.
Did I made a wrong join table and condition?
Kindly advice me.
Thank you.

HI
Please check the joining conditions

  • Newbie query problem: function data missing in dropdown

I am a student using 10g express provided with our textbook. The installation to WinXp SP3 went flawlessly and I can execute all required queries from the command line, no problem. The publisher provides SQL scripts related to the chapter material that creates the users and data for the chapter exercises. When I switch to the database home page and attempt to execute a query, I can change the aliases, insert conditions and do any thing else with the record but when I hit the dropdown arrow for function there is nothing there, no list. I have been back over the chapters dealing with installation thinking I have missed some setup parameter but I am coming up empty. Ay help would be appreciated.
    Regards,
    Dave

    Ljuba,
This may be the issue as I ran the script as 'system' but logged in the database as 'handsonxe03'. I may have missed the required login from the text. I will look closer or I may have to modify the script for required user.
    I will let you know....Thanks!

  • Query problem with date range

I have a query that needs to pull data between a date range.
I've tried several things and nothing seems to work.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Here's the code:
    <cftransaction>
    <cfquery name="QryFollowUp"
    datasource="NBProdReports">
    SELECT TblContractInfo_SubMenuTable.User_ID,
    TblContractInfo_SubMenuTable.Contract_Number,
    TblContractInfo_SubMenuTable.Transaction_Type,
    TblContractInfo_SubMenuTable.Notes,
    TblContractInfo_SubMenuTable.Num_Checks_Trans,
    TblMasterTrans.Date_Opened
    from TblContractInfo_SubMenuTable ,tblMasterTrans
    WHERE Transaction_Type = 'FollowUp'
    And TblContractInfo_SubMenuTable.Task_Number =
    tblMasterTrans.Task_Number
    And TblMasterTrans.Date_Opened BETWEEN #form.StartDate# AND
    #form.EndDate#
    ORDER BY TblMasterTrans.Date_Opened ASC,
    TblContractInfo_SubMenuTable.User_id ASC
    </cfquery>
    </cftransaction>

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Ok, why are you using a <cftransaction...> around a
    single select query?
    It should be unnecessary.
This is probably not helpful to your original question. There
    is
nothing obviously wrong with your query at least to my glance
    through.
Thus this important question, the one without which you are
    unlikely to
get any helpful advice, "How does this not work?" Error
    Messages? No
Data? Wrong Data? Serves you coffee instead of tea?
It would also probably be helpful to know how your date data
    is
represented in the database and the form controls, depending
    on what
    your difficulties are.

  • Problem with data in Cube 0IC_C03 in Bex Query

    Hi,
    (1) I am loading data into cube 0ic_c03 from data sources 2LIS_03_BX,2LIS_03_BF and 2LIS_03_UM. I need one more field <b>Manufacturing date</b> in my cube.
    (2) That's why I enhanced datasource 2LIS_03_BF, and populated HSDAT (Manufacturing date from MSEG table.) Date is visible in datasource.
    (3) I loaded data in Cube from 03_BX, did collapse. Then loaded data from 03_BF did collapse. In my cube data display (or LISTCUBE) I am able to see Manufacturing date and keyfigure values (<b>Received stock qty</b>:transit and <b>Issued stock qty: transit</b>) in one row.
    eg.-
Plant           Manufac.date            Issued Qty            Received qty
    5102            01.07.2007                 2000                       3000
    But In my <b>Bex query</b>, I see -
    Plant           Manufac.date            Stock:in Transit
    5102            01.07.2007                 #
    5102                  #                         1000
Ideally I want to show data in query -
    Plant           Manufac.date            Stock:in Transit
    5102            01.07.2007                 1000
Should I enhance 2LIS_03_BX data source also with MAnufacturing date ?
    Please suggest...It is urgent..
    Thanks

  • Inconsistent SDO_RELATE results when querying 2.5D data

Oracle 11.1.0.7 with Patch 8343061 on Windows Server 2003 32bit.
I'm getting inconsistent results from SDO_RELATE results when querying 2.5D data. Some geometries I expect to be OVERLAPBDYDISJOINT, are not always being returned by SDO_RELATE when using the OVERLAPBDYDISJOINT mask. It seems that the order of the tables makes a difference to the result.

CREATE INDEX TEST2_SPIND ON TEST2(GEOMETRY) INDEXTYPE IS MDSYS.SPATIAL_INDEX PARAMETERS ('layer_gtype=line sdo_indx_dims=2');Now if I check how these two geometries relate to each other, the answer is OVERLAPBDYDISJOINT, which makes sense when inspecting the geometries.
    SQL> SELECT
      2  sdo_geom.relate(t1.geometry, 'determine', t2.geometry,  0.0005) relate_1_to_2,

    RELATE_1_TO_2        RELATE_2_TO_1
    OVERLAPBDYDISJOINT   OVERLAPBDYDISJOINT
1 row selected. So, I'd expect this query to return something...
    SELECT /*+ ORDERED */ t1.id, t2.id, sdo_geom.relate(t1.geometry, 'determine', t2.geometry,  0.0005) relate
    FROM test2 t2, test1 t1
    WHERE sdo_relate(t1.geometry, t2.geometry, 'mask=overlapbdydisjoint') = 'TRUE'
    AND t1.id = 1
    AND t2.id = 1;Nada. And this...
    SELECT /*+ ORDERED */ t1.id, t2.id, sdo_geom.relate(t1.geometry, 'determine', t2.geometry,  0.0005) relate
    FROM test1 t1, test2 t2
    WHERE sdo_relate(t2.geometry, t1.geometry, 'mask=overlapbdydisjoint') = 'TRUE'
    AND t1.id = 1
    AND t2.id = 1;Nada.
    And this...
    SQL> SELECT /*+ ORDERED */ t1.id, t2.id, sdo_geom.relate(t1.geometry, 'determine', t2.geometry,  0.0005) relate
      2  FROM test2 t2, test1 t1
      3  WHERE sdo_relate(t2.geometry, t1.geometry, 'mask=overlapbdydisjoint') = 'TRUE'
      4  AND t1.id = 1
      5  AND t2.id = 1;
            ID         ID RELATE
             1          1 OVERLAPBDYDISJOINT
1 row selected. This version gives the right answer.
    Can anyone explain this?

    Hi,-
I think you are running into these bugs 7158518 and 7710726.
Could you please request the patch for the bugs so that they are published on Metalink
    if they dont exist there?
Please let us know if these fix your problem.

  • Hierarchy leaf not shown while data exists

    Hi experts,
We have the following issue regarding the (in)visibility of hierarchy leafs:
We know that transactional data exists for a particular item in the hierarchy (total value is zero). This item is not shown by default in the report output (while zero suppression has been turned off). There are a few ways to make the item visible, e.g:
         1. Deactivate the hierarchical display
         2. Filter on the item
         3. Filter on another characteristic value for which the transaction data doesn't add up to zero.
         4. .........
However, we would like to show the item in any case, so even when the underlying transactional data sums up to zero.
Has anyone faced a similar problem before? Any idea how to solve the issue?
If necessary, I can send some screenshots with detailed information by email.
    Thanks in advance !
    Kind regards,
    Rene

    Hi,
We had a similiar issue in the Cost Element Hierarchy & got resolution.
I followed the below method an extract from SDN Forum reply.
You need to make the InfoObject an InfoProvider. Then you create a multiprovider with your InfoCube and the InfoObject. When you create a query, insert a new column that contains the key figure 0ROWCOUNT and a restriction on 0INFOPROV to your InfoObject.
When you right click on 0INFOPROV you now have the option to select Constant Selection. When you've turned it on you do a right click again and you're able to activate "Display non-posted values."
Finally hide the new column and execute the query.
Also we found out that for the nodes that were not appearing , the master data was incomplete. there was no source system assignment to those, we updated the field manually & with the above method the query worked.

  • MSS No data exists. Is working - or not

    Hi,
We have configured the MSS EMBORGCH and it is working or kind of working.
We have added a new selection called Furture employess, so the manager are able to see the future employees.
If there is no future employee, then the user gets this error: "No data exists for user XXXXXX in hierarchy MSSBIZVIEW".
And then if the user Log off the portal, then next time the manager log on. This message is shown: "No data exists for user XXXXXX in hierarchy MSSBIZVIEW". and the drop down selections are empty.
    How to avoid this?
    Kim

    Hi
The problem is, that we have created a new view called "Future Employees". When you have future employees, this is working fine.
But if you do not have future employees, you will get this error message. If you then log out of the portal then the next time you log in, you will see this error and the dropdowns with the Views are empty, and you cannot navigate.
I just want the view to be empty and the navigation to work.
Right now, we are showing the manager, just to avoid this situation.

  • Select query to read data from a view

    Hi friends,
We have been using a query to read data from a custom view which used to work perfectly. Now the program sits at that select query forever. We are able to extract same data from se16. Not sure what could be the problem.
    Thanks in advance.

  • Reg select query problem

    hi all,
    hope all r doing fine?
anyway i have a query which is mentioned below:-
    select field1,.....fieldn
             from <dbtable1>
into corresponding fields of table itab
             where <condition>.
    select field1,...fieldn
              from <dbtable2>
appending corresponding fields of table itab
            where <condition>.
the above two select stmts retrieve same set of  fields from two different database tables into same internal table itab..
now my question is ...........is any other way to change 2nd select statement without using appending correspondin fields
but the functionality should remain the same as it is after changing..................
bcos appending corresponding is causing performance problem in data retrieval.
    thanx alot in advance.
for sure points will be given for all the helpful answers
    Jack

    Hi,
    You can use like that:
    select field1,.....fieldn
    from <dbtable1>
into corresponding fields of table itab1
    where <condition>.
    select field1,...fieldn
    from <dbtable2>
appending corresponding fields of table itab2
    where <condition>.
    now u use:
    loop at itab2 into w_itab2.
    read table itab1 into w_itab1 with key w_itab1-<primary field> = w_itab2-<Primary field>.
    if sy-subrc = 0.
      append w_final into i_final.
    else continue.
    endif.
    endloop.
    *i_final table having all data ( i.e itab2 & itab1 data)

    Hello Experts,
We have a problem with PI sender adapter that PI has started to miss records in database some database records are missing and we are using the below selet query :
SELECT * FROM [database name].[dbo].[Material_Movement] WHERE [Process_Order_Number] = (Select TOP 1 [Process_Order_Number] FROM [database name].[dbo].[Material_Movement] WHERE ([PI_Read_Date] IS NULL AND [Movement_Type] = (SELECT TOP 1 [Movement_Type] FROM [database name].[dbo].[Material_Movement] WHERE [Transaction_Code] = 'xyz' AND [PI_Read_Date] IS NULL ORDER BY Created_Date ASC))) AND [Transaction_Code] = 'xyz' AND [Movement_Type] = (SELECT TOP 1 [Movement_Type] FROM [database name].[dbo].[Material_Movement] WHERE [Transaction_Code] = 'xyz' AND [PI_Read_Date] IS NULL ORDER BY Created_Date ASC) AND [PI_Read_Date] IS NULL ORDER BY [Transaction_ID] ASC
I am weak in select query could you please check and suggest how the query can be modified to avoid this issue .
    Thanks,
    Somenath

    Hi ,
After looking into These Query .. I found ...
Your Query Will run such Kind of scenario ..
1.)   Movement Type will be fetched from from below Query
            SELECT TOP 1 Movement_Type
            FROM database name.dbo.Material_Movement
            WHERE Transaction_Code = 'xyz'
           AND PI_Read_Date IS NULL
            ORDER BY Created_Date ASC
2.) on the  basis of abovr fetched  moment code . your Query will fetch 1 Process Order number
    Select TOP 1 Process_Order_Number
    FROM database name.dbo.Material_Movement
    WHERE ( PI_Read_Date IS NULL
AND Movement_Type =  Moment Type will be same as 1.
    3.)
After  Getting 1 and 2 . Query will fetch Data  from table " dbo.Material_Movement "
    On the basis of ..
    Movement_Type = value from 1.
    Process_order_type = value from 2.
    Transaction_Code = 'xyz'
    ORDER BY Transaction_ID ASC
So check Missed record Fullfill this Condition or not ....................
If not ... You will get why they are not picked by your given Query ...........
    Hope it helps ..

  • Tp ended with error code 0247 - addtobuffer has problems with data- and/or

    Hello Experts,
If you give some idea, it will be greatly appreciated.
This transported issue started coming after power outage, sap system went hard shutdown.
Then we brought up the system. Before that , we do not have this transport issue.
    our TMS landscape is
    DEV QA-PRD
    SED-SEQSEP
DEV is having the TMS domain controller.
    FYI:
*At OS level, when we do scp command using root user, it is fine for any TR.
In STMS, while adding TR in SEQ(QA system), we  are getting error like this.

  • Different results for the same query and same data !  (oracle 9i)

    Hi,
This is a mystery for me. I've got on my database exactly the same data that my customer (exported schema). We both launch the same query (generated by the software that we sold him). This query has a criteria IN (SELECT MAX()...) to get only data from the last year.
The query gives 477 rows on my computer (correct answer), but no row on his! We have the same data! The only difference is the Oracle release : 9.2.0.6.0 for him, 9.2.0.1.0 for me.
If he executes the subquery alone, it gives the expected result.
If he replaces the MAX() in the subquery by the returned value (year 2016), he gets his 477 rows.
I've rewritten the query with a NOT EXISTS, and now all is fine. (Less efficient but it works).
I have no rational explication. Did I miss something ?
    Thanks for any answer.
    This is the query:
    SELECT ...
    FROM
    CRA, GRA, ...
    WHERE
    /* subselect */
    (CRA.COLLCOD, CRA.CRANEXE, CRA.CRANCODBUD, CRA.GRANNUM, CRA.CRANCOD1, CRA.CRANCOD2, CRA.CRANCOD3, CRA.CRANCOD4)
    IN (
    SELECT b.COLLCOD, MAX(cranexe), b.CRANCODBUD, b.GRANNUM, b.CRANCOD1, b.CRANCOD2, b.CRANCOD3, b.CRANCOD4
    FROM CRA b
    GROUP BY b.COLLCOD, b.CRANCODBUD, b.GRANNUM, b.CRANCOD1, b.CRANCOD2, b.CRANCOD3, b.CRANCOD4
AND... /* other filters and joins */

v9.2.0.1 was full of bugs. a lot of these bugs had to do with "incorrect results", typically associated with old stats or complex queries (certain types of subqueries were very likely to give wrong resutls, due to the way they were rewritten by the optimizer).
    apply the 9.2.0.6 patch set
