Query the date field for specific time

I need to be able to run a query on a date field that retrieves specified times.
Any ideas???

You could do something like
SELECT *
FROM someTable
WHERE to_char(date_column, 'HH24:MI:SS') = '17:01:04';Justin

Hello Experts,
I am working in Sender ABAP proxy <===> SAP PI 7.31 JAVA <===> Oracle database.
Oracle Database stores all records of material sold where the date is maintained in 01/15/2010 01:48:20 which has date and time format.
In ECC , I will be sending a proxy request with system date as the only field and this would be key field to select all the material records sold for 01/15/2010 in Oracle Database i.e. Select statement.As we can observe that the system data of ECC does not have time stamp.
I am clueless how to get this done in Message Mapping or in some way? If I maintain just the date stamp of ECC as the key field, would I be
able to fetch all the records from Database?

Ooopps the names are confusing. but very close..
Yes I changed my receiver structure and added <compareOperation> under the key field Material Number. In the Message Mapping , I assigned a constant EQ to <compareOperation>.
Now tested the proxy will value of Material with no 100 , expecting a response from database for Material 100. But getting error as below.

When entering credit card details, is the date field for the start date or expiry date? [was: payment]

I had my bank card accidently cancelled by my bank. I have entered the new card number into payment section and it is asking for a date. Is that date the time the card began or finishes - the section does not make is clear. Thanks

I know of no banking or credit company on the planet that would ever ask or need to ask about the "beginning" date on a crdedit or debit card.
I'd have no way of replying to such an absurd question if I were ever asked.

Viewing and Removing the Time part of the Date field

Hi,
I have Date field in a table.
but in SQL plus when I do
select date from table
this gives me only the Date values and not the timestamps in the date.
I believe Oracle stores 'Date' and 'Time' in fields with Data Type 'Date'.
How do I print the timestamps also in the SQL query?
Moreover, if I have to extract the date field, reset the timestamp to 00:00:00, and store back the date field (with 00 time), how do I do that?

If you want to retry date and time you can:
SELECT TO_CHAR(DATE,'YYYY/MM/DD HH24:MI:SS') FROM TABLE;
If you want truncate time when inserting in a table simply use TRUNC function
INSERT INTO TABLE (DATE) VALUES (TRUNC(YOUR_DATE));
To extract and insert with time 00:00:00
INSERT INTO TABLE1 (SELECT TRUNC(DATE) FROM TABLE2);

Unfortunately, Apple removed the feature to "browse backups" in Time Machine backups of iPhoto a few years ago.
You have to restore the entire iPhoto library to a separate location to be able to "see" it, and then choose the specific images that you want use.

One option would be to go as mentioned by Padamja , prefxing the table name to the column name or another would be to use the AS keyoword in your SQL statement.
AS is used to rename the column name when data is being selected from your DB.
So, the query Select ename as empname from emptable will return the data with column name as empname.

Currently using LabVIEW 2012/TestStand 2012.
I am attempting to edit the LabVIEW Text Sequence Translator, and in the CreateStep.vi I am trying to create a step that is of type WIS_Sequence_Call (a custom version of NI_Types.ini-->SequenceCall).
I need to set the file pathname, sequence name and parameter values in the step. I believe I need to get access to the SequenceCallModule class to do this.
This help file SequenceCallModule states in the description: "To access the properties and methods of a specific module class, query the Module object for the interface of the module-specific interface you want to acquire.".
What exactly is meant by "query" here? It looks like "Specify" might be what I am after, but I want this done programmatically, ie no dialog boxes.

I have been using the 2012 version of the poster.
I can get access to the Module class from the Step Class as shown in the snippet above, but I can't see how to get to SequenceCallModule? The "To more specific class" VI doesn't seem to work for TS refs. Is there no way to derive the SequenceCallModule from this?
Also I can use the TSAdp.SequenceCallModule reference, but I need to link this to the relevant step that I've just created. Can NI please provide me with a link to any examples on this?

click and hold on one cell, then drag to select the range, then release, then type the delete key. Only inlude cells in the range you do not want to keey the contents of the cell. You can remove one-off cells by holding the command key and clicking cells to add or remove as needed.

To search for a badi, go to se 24 display class cl_exithandler.
double click on method get_instance, get a break point on case statement.
execute and start the required transaction in new session.
look for variable exit_name. It would show the available badi's.

so in my control file, I coded
fields terminated by ',' enclosed by '"'
no error after I execute sqlldr command.
however, on data has been inserted into table either.
if I remove "" and ,
the data field changed to 1 2 3 ...
and the data has been inserted into my table
However the first format is what I want. can anyone experienced silmilar situation? please give me a hint.

Trying to change the data source for a Crystal Report.

The method below represents my best attempt to programatically change the data source of a Crystal Report. The goal is to have a routine that will update the data source for reports after they have been distributed to production servers. So far I have not been successful in saving the report back to the CMS. No exceptions are thrown, but when I view the Database Configuration of the report in the CMC nothing has changed.


Am I missing a step, or is there another way to accomplish this?

Thank you for the reply. Time constraints have not allowed me to post back to this tread
till now. I will try your suggestion. My assumption is that Save the report back to the
info store refers to IInfoStore.commit(IInfoObjects).


I'm afraid that I do not understand why I don't want to change the report client document,
or why successfully exporting the report with the new login/password is not what I
want to do. Any explanation on that statement would be appreciated.


I did find a way to accomplish my goal. It involved adding the SSOKEY property to the
logon property bag. Below you'll see my revised code which modifies the report logon and
server. I have no idea what
this does, and SAP support has not been able to tell me why it works. However, what I
discovered is that if I changed the report option, Database Configuration -> When
viewing report:, in the CMS to Use same database logon as when report
is run from Prompt the user for database logon, then the
SSOKEY property had been added to the logon property bag having an empty string as its
value. This allowed me to successfullyupdate and save the modified logon back to the CMS.


So I took a chance and added code to always add the SSOKEY property with an empty string
as its value, and I could then successfully modify and save the report's logon info
and server. Again, I don't know what this means, but it has worked so far. If anyone has
some insight or comments, either are welcome. Thank you in advance.
